Christoper Donovan: In Philly, Failed System… or Failed Demographics?

Christopher Donovan: The Philadelphia Inquirer is running a series on the low rate of convictions secured by police and prosecutors in the city.  The system’s overcrowded.  The sheer volume of cases makes the system unwieldy.  Defense lawyers postpone cases in the hopes that witnesses will disappear.  The black “stop sntichin’” culture keeps witnesses off the stand.  Judges dismiss worthy cases.

So, the blame comes to rest on the White “system” and its players (realizing that many in this system are actually minorities).  But the larger demographic reality is that Philadelphia is a heavily black urban area, and it’s plagued with crime and chaos for just that reason.  Juxtapose this with a criminal justice system that developed over centuries in all-white Britain — and was tweaked by all-white American Constitution framers — and you have a recipe for disaster. In fact, you have a recipe for complete unworkability, no matter how hard whites try, or how many tax dollars are squeezed from Whites.

The failure isn’t with the criminal justice system.  The failure is with the multiracial society.  Will the Inquirer take a look at that?

For any of the liberal Jewish readers, do you think this “stop snitching culture” is somehow helpful to the black community? If anything, the Jews that run these Democratic party cities are exploiting the blacks, collaborating with criminal elements in their society, and using the legal system to exonerate them and send them back to the black communities they are preying on. As long as Jews get their cut.

Then, they are used as pawns to somehow shame white people for “racist” nonsense. The Jews exploit blacks, interfere with their communities, and run interference for black criminals and send them back to prey on black neighborhood again.

Then they self-righteously blame whitey. Why are they not mocked? Who takes this stuff seriously?

Is not Philadelphia the city with the football team that specializes in players that, to be polite, do disgusting things to doags?

My Mother and Father were from Philadephia and I lived there as a child.
Also my hero and mentor Morse Peckham, taught at the University of Penn. from the late 40′s to the mid-60′s.
Like most major cities throughout the West, Europe and America, Philadephia was in serious decline (in the East too, but that’s another matter), and long before blacks became a problem. That’s just a fact.

In November of 1955 Peckham gave a speech at the Philomathean Society at U of Penn, that was later reprinted as an essay. If your library has a copy of his first volume of collected essays,
“The Triumph of Romanticism” it is the fifth essay.

Though he quotes at least one person who he later distanced himself from (though not the man’s comment itself), and though he also later refuted a point or two made in that work, it is still very relevant, fresh, and bracing, as is everything he wrote, since he’s clearly a full hundred years ahead of his time.
Oh, and as long as you’re in the neighborhood, so to speak, why not skip on over to the tenth essay of that volume and read what is hands down the single greatest, and most shamefully neglected, essay on Darwin, ever.
If anyone can find anything that come even half way close, please let me know, I will look very much forward to reading it.

Ahistorical. Dixie had this worked out just fine ’till the Yankees went insane and screwed it all up.

    Dixie was and is multiracial.

What it was not was anti-white.

Yep. And, though I’m not exactly going to idealize the South, it is true.
It’s worth pointing out that it was screwed up, at least in part. by the North’s obsession with what is essentially an abstraction.
Either way, the South, to this day, is still the most interesting part of America. One reason, perhaps the most important, is because it’s the only part of our country that has experienced Occupation by a foreign government.

Well I would have to agree you are MOSTLY right. But our judicial system IS based off of the Talmudic interpretive system..mixed with the White man’s overly individualistic nature. We most definitely need to reform our judicial system.

    Born again redneck:
Multi-racial societies will always fail, even the old south was destine to fall. Any racial group that is enslaved will always revolt eventually. Plus it really doesn’t work with White people because we are overly emotional and sympathetic, so much so that we will do so at the expense of our own well-being.
