Alex Kurtagic: In a recent blog Kevin MacDonald remarked that the word “canard” appeared to be Abraham Foxman’s ADL’s favourite word. It seems, therefore, that I am not the only one who has noticed this peculiar aspect of Mr. Foxman’s vocabulary. Here are some examples:
“It was shocking to hear Marlon Brando, the acclaimed actor and champion of civil rights, invoke the anti-Semitic canard that “Hollywood is run by Jews, it is owned by Jews…” … comments raise the centuries-old canard of Jewish control and conspiracy”
“This is a new variation of the ancient blood libel. The only difference is that today we have the Internet, which enables a hateful canard to spread, not just door to door or village to village, but globally in a matter of nanoseconds.”
“These findings are especially disturbing because they show that the old, classical form of anti-Semitism, which we had hoped was long gone in Europe, continues to be resilient. It is alarming in this post-Holocaust, post-September 11, world to find that one in five believe the age-old canards about Jews.”

And, finally, although not necessarily authored by Mr. Foxman himself, the article about Prof. Kevin MacDonald, like many other press releases and articles in the ADL website, uses it too:
“Instead, MacDonald relies on the old anti-Semitic canard that one group, ‘the Jews,’ is responsible for all perceived deficiencies in American culture, and cannot be trusted to work for the common welfare of a democratic society.”
It occurs to me that we too could use this word, with exactly same frequency, to highlight the innumerable anti-White canards invented, circulated, and perpetuated by the enemies of the White race. We could speak, for example, of the “malicious canard of White evil”, the “tiresome canard of White racism in modern society”, the “odious canard of ‘only Whites can be racist’”, the “canard of opposing multiculturalism being Nazi”, the “insulting canard of discussing race differences in IQ leading, always and inevitably, straight to compulsory castrations and death camps”, and so on.
In fact, I think the word should be used over and over again, hammered in without mercy, until the enemy (and by enemy I do not necessarily mean only Mr. Foxman or his ADL, but anyone who makes anti-White statements, irrespective of race, age, creed, gender, disability, or sexual orientation) – until the enemy, I say, turns blue in the face.
Using the enemy’s own tactics is not always advisable, and certainly not something I would recommend in all cases, as I think we should play by our own rules, use our own tactics, and rely on our own concepts and dychotomies, and not be shaped by those of our opponents. But I do think it is both gratifying and profitable on occasion to throw our opponents’ malice back on their faces with calculated irony, to short-circuit their propaganda machine through trivializing parody.
Remember: there is nothing the enemy fears more than our laughter. And certainly, laughter is a highly effective and efficient weapon, which instantly generates openness and goodwill by making one seem popular and easygoing, and which instantly neutralizes an opponent, no matter how intelligent and well informed, by making him seem like a tedious windbag. So let us use the old guerrilla tactic of stealing the enemy’s weapon and using it against him; let us start shooting down those pesky Europhobic canards, wherever they appear.

What would happen if European whites played this game with affirmative action? Most people do not realize, for example, that we are massively under-represented at elite universities relative to our % of population. Rather than fighting to eliminate affirmative action, which we have not succeeded in doing, perhaps we should fight instead for our rightful slice of the pie??
The notion that Christian whites (non-Jewish) are over-represented in elite institutions is just one more example of a vicious CANARD that is used to justify discrimination.
Alex, you forgot to mention how ‘nefarious’ the perpetual use of these ‘odious canards’ can be. You’ve got to remember another ‘stereotypical’ trait, of these particular ‘people’: they never ‘burn books’, they just cook them!

I’ve been telling people to do this – and have been doing it – for years. When describing jewish behavior or arguing with a jew, I make sure I get my statements out first. Always starting off with remarks that explicitly state the “racism and intolerance” of jews, their hypocrisy, and their never ending use of anti-white and/or anti-Christian canards, depending on the ‘audience’. The jews always stutter, always, and give the deer in the headlights look. Then the look changes, in the eyes, to a visible representation of the malevolent hatred so many have for “the other”. Some try to use these words back, but it’s too late. I’ve hit them over the head with their own cudgels. It’s quite hilarious. Next comes the jews main mode of argument; shouting and screaming. When they can’t counter, when they have no real argument, they merely attempt to shout you down. Interesting that this is the same tactic used by blacks and hispanics. Is it something taught to the latter two groups or something instinctual among all three?
This tactic is great for waking up some of the sleepers, of which there are far too many among the white race at moment. If the holocau$t® comes up, then I start off with Yagoda, Kaganovich and others. Don’t try and be a denier, pointing out the inconsistencies in jewish tales, merely show what they themselves have done, and move on to what they’re doing now, with the old two wrongs don’t make a right line of argument. That eventually leads to a good number of sheeple being open to the full truth.

No, the enemy does not fear your (our?) laughter. Mostly they don’t fear anything at all about you, but if they do fear anything from pro-white people, it’s violence.
Laughter and ridicule are effective weapons but only when used in the right situation. If you’ve got a friendly or at least sympathetic audience, as the ADL does, then by all means go for the ridicule. But more often, pro-white speakers will be facing a hostile audience. In that case, trying to use laughter or ridicule just makes you look like a crackpot or a jerk. The main thing in that situation is to be polite and keep your cool. Jared Taylor is a master at that.
I admire Jared Taylor too, for his steady fortitude, calm and courtesy.
In imitating his fine example, it helps to know what rhetorical attacks your opponents are going to try, so you don’t get flustered by them. Think about your answers in advance.

I can’t believe that Foxman gets away with that all-too-obvious “Sleep on, there is nothing to see”-Mantra… all this seems to be taken straight out of some political satire. It’s like saying the “age-old canard that the sky is blue on sunny days”.
Jared Taylor is a hypocritical fraud. He KNOWS who and what is behind most of our problems. Being nice, conversational, mannered has managed to get us walked on and ridiculed. Nothing else. They aren’t mannered. We need to take the gloves off. The only thing jews respect or at least fear is someone getting right back in their face. They’ll keep up the show of bravado, but they back off. No gumption for handling in your face pressure.
