Christopher Donovan: What Can't The Media Spin Into a Story on 'Hate Groups'?

In Central Pennsylvania recently, a white attorney was shot and killed at a public rifle range, and his customized weapon taken.  Two white men were arrested and charged, and one said he was helping an “unnamed group” that sought to overthrow the government. (See here.)

I was personally amazed that the local newspaper took a whole 24 hours before reaching out the Southern Poverty Law Center — and then didn’t even get a call back.  With all their millions, you’d think they’d have a 24-hour media hotline set up for a quick quote.

The story is depressingly rote, with the reporters following the tight script of American journalism:  any incident involving white men and guns is tied to the KKK, the neo-Nazis and Timothy McVeigh

What if the media took a similar tack with blacks, Hispanics or Jews?

A black man is charged with robbing a white couple.  This comes just days after the NAACP called for America to treat blacks with more fairness.  Experts are convinced the two are related.  ‘When you create an atmosphere of that much hate, that much intolerance, and that much grievance, things like this are bound to happen’, said the expert.  “We even have a black president who said that the civil rights movement didn’t go far enough.  With those kinds of messages coming from the top, whites are just sitting ducks for black violence.” …

Three Hispanics entered the country illegally the other day.  Meanwhile, a supremacist group called ‘La Raza‘ has been loudly agitating for amnesty for illegal aliens.  Experts think there’s a connection, and the potential for violence grows every day. …

Nationally, hate experts have traced the rise of Israel, a supremacist state in the Middle East, to an active network of lobbyists and fundraisers — almost all of them Jewish, and many in the United States.
Sigh.  I’m not holding my breath.

While militia and hate-group activity appears to be on the rise, it is part of a trend going back decades, Kenney said.

The Earth should be too small for all the Nazi Aryan militias considering how long they have been ‘on the rise’ according to the ‘experts’ (I wonder if the popularity of that phrasing is intentionally echoing “in each generation, there are those that rise up against us to destroy us”.)

The psychopathic dufus isn’t going to say ‘I killed a man because I lusted after his customized firearms’. Preposterous to think anyone would take it seriously, but a chance to associate nationalism with criminal violence is aways taken seriously because in the MSM’s mind doing that is the highest ethical good. (and it is a fatal mistake to let commenters help them).

I do like how they refer to “rebel activity” – makes it sound like there is a problem with ex Confederate soldiers on horseback.

Nationalists ought not to refer to “the” KKK as that reinforces the totally deluded in their conviction that the name represents a cohesive organization which is responsible for terroristic violence. The $LPC’s financial reserves are an order of magnitude greater than the collective resources of the ‘rebels’, and their media access is several orders of magnitude greater.

There is more chance of the British conquering India again than a violent neo Nazi organization getting off the ground, there is no ‘organization’ , and the ‘groups’ are FBI flypaper.

I agree, Severus. In fact, read the public comments section of any MSM online newspaper story, and you’ll see plenty of “us” popping up. Still, the MSM remains trusted as at least a source of basic facts. The black racist killer “Tom” links to is being spun heavily by the media, but commenters are reversing it.

I know nothing of this crime other than the link provided, but this behavior seems absurd…murdering a man (and an armed one, at that) JUST to get a rifle??? That ISN’T the type of thinking that’s going to save the white race or the country.

It’s time to admit that there are a whole lot of white rejects out there that need to be disposed of. Those two prison guards deserve whatever the prison apes have in store for them. (You won’t hear me say that very often.)
