I normally comment on a well-known paleo site, which I love, but they do seem a tad squeamish when it comes to the self-chosen ones, and thus it is heartening to me to find a site where the intellectual and civility level is just as high, but the gloves and blinkers are off regarding the tribe.

Here is my “favorite” part of the Siegel article:

“Although the fictional character’s (Tom Buchanan, in The Great Gatsby) fears might strike us as alien and repellent today, it is not just a blessing but also historically peculiar that more Americans don’t feel the same way, …” (Fitzgerald had Buchanan say: “The idea is if we don’t look out the white race will be—will be utterly submerged.”)

The ironies in Siegel’s statement are: first, in how breezily he assumes his characterization of Buchanan’s views are shared by his readers; then in how blatantly contrary to fact is that word “blessing”; and finally in the leering duplicity of that “historically peculiar” – as if it just accidentally happened that Americans have lost their ability to speak freely and think clearly over the ensuing decades of Jewish domination since Fitzgerald could tell it like it is.

On that note, let me inform commenters here of something that is truly “peculiar”: today I received a mailer soliciting funds for something called, if memory serves, “American Voices For Israel”. Right after I began visiting this site, and a few days after writing something unfavorable toward Israel on the previously mentioned site. Coincidence? I would say, they are listening…
