Reginald Thompson: White Evangelicals talk a good game when it comes to being Pro-Life, which is here defined as words or actions that cause more children to have life, and less unborn children to be annihilated in the womb.
But are they just putting on a show to make themselves look righteous, with the possible motive of improving their own self-regard?
To find out I looked at the 2008 Presidential Exit Polls to determine the percentage of voters in the 39 states with the relevant data who described themselves as White Evangelicals.
Then I looked up the Abortion and White Total Fertility Rates for these 39 States.
Now hopefully there’s a positive correlation between White Evangelicals and White Babies, and a Negative Correlation between White Evangelicals and Abortions. For one thing, I really don’t want to be made more cynical than I already am.

White Evangelical -.692 +.553
Churched -.517 +.399
As can be seen above, both the arrows of correlation are strong and in the predicted direction.
Moreover, we can see that though White Evangelicals are greatly outnumbered by the Churched (here defined as people who report visiting Church at least once a week), they nonetheless have a stronger influence on the Abortion and White Fertility Rates of a State.
And remarkably, even though the positive correlation between percent White Evangelical and the White Total Fertility Rate is smaller than the negative correlation found with Abortion, we find 31% of the State to State variation in White TFR is explained by the Percentage of White Evangelicals in a State.
And this is being accomplished by a group that was only 26% of the voters in the 2008 Election!
Recently on My Blog I reported the correlation I found between White Ethnocentrism, as measured by the capacity to elect Senators against giving Amnesty to Illegal Immigrants, and White Fertility.
Given this finding, I find it extremely notable in this context that Evangelical Protestants were found by a recent poll to have the most Ethnocentric Attitudes toward Immigration of any major American Religious Group:

Evangelicals +64%
Other Protestant. +41%
Catholics +41%
Jews +3%
Like I said in my post about ethnocentrism and fertility: Love for one’s family and love for one’s race spring forth from the same roots. And I think this is the best explanation for my finding that members of the most ethnocentric Major White Religious Group cause the White Birth Rate to go up simply by virtue of there being more of them in a state.

The link in the article has some good graphs. The first one shows that in only 3 states are white women producing more than the 2.1 babies per woman needed just to keep the population steady. Therefore, whites are declining in numbers nationwide, while non-whites are rising, both as a result of their higher fertility rates and from immigration. This white decline can be laid directly at the door of scientific birth control technologies such as abortion and the Pill. The Abortion Holocaust alone accounts approximately 33 million white babies that could have been born but weren’t, almost a million each year from 1973 forward. Had they been born, there would have been no need to flood the country with non-whites.

It looks like we have some evidence here that counter’s Tom Sunic’s recent OO article that implies that Christianity is bad for White survival. Some WNs appear to believe that Christianity should be abandoned for atheism or Paganism (Sunic seems a fan of this particular belief system, suggesting it is more in keeping with the European mind). It would be interesting to see how the birth rates for these groups compare with Christian groups.
I agree with Andrew: focusing on religion is a failed strategy in the 21st century. It doesn’t really matter what Gods people worship as long as their ethnic and racial consciousness is updated.
Mr. Sunic seems to deliver contradictory messages. First, he emphasizes racial consciousness – referring to research done in the 1920s and 1930s. Second, he says that race really doesn’t matter that much (“It’s the attitude, stupid!”).
Regarding White interests, Southern Baptists are the worse and Presbyterians are the best. At least Catholics reproduce though if they are strict Catholics.

The best evidence is that Atheism is extremely harmful to Whites.
The one White Country where the Census asks whether you are an Atheist or not is Austria, and the Total Fertility Rate for Atheists there is a freakishly low 0.8 Children per a Woman.
That’s 50% lower than even Austria’s anemic overall Total Fertility Rate of 1.2 Children per a Woman.

There doesn’t appear to be enough White Pagans for their Birth Rate to be determined at this time.
I do recall that the American sociologist of religion Rodney Stark has done some work showing that the Birth Rate was very low for European Pagans during the time the Roman Empire was in decline, while at the same time the Early Christians had a very high Birth Rate. (This probably contributed to them taking over the apparatus of the Empire, turning it into the Catholic Church.)
The most likely explanation for this is that Late Roman Empire Pagans had very liberal attitudes toward Abortion and Homosexuality that the Early Christians consciously rejected.
How Pagans did Birth Rate-wise during the times they managed to avoid the trap of excessive Liberalism on Birth Rate relevant issues like Abortion and Homosexuality is a very interesting question; though it is a question I do not know how to answer.

If members of the UCC responded to the poll question “Do you consider yourself a White Born Again or Evangelical Protestant?” by saying yes, that would have the effect of making the result I found in the article even more impressive.
For if that is what happened, it would unfairly dilute my study’s ability to pick up on the efficacious effects of having more White Evangelicals in a State.
If being “born again” defines who is an Evangelical the water becomes even more muddy.
For example, the authority of the New Testament i.e. the Evangelists defines for me personally who is an Evangelical. Let’s not forget, that forgotten key of the Protestant Reformation, “every man his own priest”. We can read, and, interpert scripture for ourselves. Our Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ.

That’s very interesting, Reginald. Below, in the thread about “Navigating the Racial Landscape” (Dec. 28, 2009), I advanced the idea that the association between whites and Jews at times resembles a kind of symbiosis, a multualism in which both parties derive benefits. I was concentrating my focus on the economic benefits brought to whites through their associations with Jews via the distributed international Jewish financial and trading networks. But there may have been advantages to a kind of memetic fusion that took place with Judaism as well. If infanticide was very high among pagans in the Roman Empire, which many authorities affirm, and the opposite obtained among Christians, as it apparently did, then that would be an example of this. For Tacitus tells us that it was a part of Judaism to disdain infanticide, and so that is a (highly-adaptive!) something that the Christians obviously got from Jews.
In this connection I might also note that according to historian Michael Grant, the population of the ancient world contained a much larger percentage of Jews than is the case nowadays. Supposedly there were at least 8 or 9 million of them, out of a total population of 55 million for the Empire as a whole.

Kevin MacDonald’s work suggests that the Jewish desire to subvert European culture has been pretty much constant. He also suggests that Christianity grew partly as a defense against Jews. One could argue that the relationship between Europeans and Jews resembles a “Faustian Pact”, or a deal with the devil (not literally, this is an analogy). Yes, there are some short term benefits, at the ultimate cost of disaster. Europeans benefit(?) from Jewish financial expertise, etc., leading to Semitic economic and cultural domination, which displaces European culture and eventually the Europeans themselves. I wonder if there is a biological term for this (symbiosis doesnt seem to be an adequate definition).

Symbiosis is actually the perfect term. In modern biology, the word denotes a spectrum of relationships between organisms, ranging from commensalism, in which parties merely live side by side, through mutualism, in which both parties derive benefit from their association together, to full parasitism, in which only one party derives benefit. In practice, it can often be hard to decide where exactly to place any given relationship between to species (or races) on this spectrum, and one state can sometimes metamorphose into another. For example, the usually mutualistic bacterium E. coli, found in the guts of mammals, can become parasitic if the health of the animal fails. Analogously, the periodic expulsions of Jews can be viewed as times in which the ordinarily mutualistic relationship between whites and Jews has decayed into Jewish parasitism. In biological terms, we could say that when whites have felt themselves shortchanged, a fever ensued and the parasites were killed or expelled.
Such a conceptualization of the relationship between the white race and the Jewish race has a degree of explanatory power not offered by other views. It explains why they keep coming back, for one thing. They are necessary for the expansion of the global technological system.
Now, if we extend this to the case of the ancient pagans of the Roman Empire in their “memetic fusion” with Judaism which produced Christianity, what whites gained is obvious, and not limited just to the reversal of their demographic decline. It is arguable that this cross-fertilization of ideas was ultimately contributory to white successes in other areas, too. For example, would either capitalism or modern science have developed as they did, or even at all, without Christianity? That’s not at all clear. True, Christianity caused the collapse of the Roman Empire (at least according to Gibbon), and then 1000 years of darkness. That was the horrible cost. Still, it must be admitted that if you want to make an omelet, you have to break a few eggs. ;-)

In the 1950′s Black on White Rape was almost unheard of.
But now we’ve reached a point where, according to my calculations, a White girl of Twelve has a 1 in 20 chance of being Raped or Sexually Assaulted by a Black Male before she reaches the age of 47.
