A hundred years before Adolf Hitler assumed power an event occurred in Germany that was a harbinger of worse things to come in the relations between Germans and Jews. It was the German reaction to the “Young Germany” movement led by several young Jews whose aim it was to introduce certain liberal social reforms, including greater opportunities for Jews in all aspects of German society. In the course of their campaign, the participants said and did things that German authorities and large segments of the population found insulting and offensive. At the center of the movement and considered by many the personification of the Jewish mentality and nature was world-famous poet Heinrich Heine.
Heine was a sorely conflicted man. While still young he quickly rose to be recognized as Germany’s greatest Romantic poet after Goethe. Because of the beauty and subject matter of his poetry, he was thought to be a man who loved his homeland, especially the Rheinland region, but by middle age he had morphed into a bitter, sarcastic critic, hostile to almost everything and everyone he had previously loved or admired. In the absence of any other known cause, his life and personality, even his health, seem to have been wrecked by a psychological clash between his genetic makeup, essentially his core Jewish nature, and the culture of the world in which he lived. In his Faust, Goethe had the appropriate line to describe the condition: “Two souls dwell in my breast, alas, forever warring with each other.”
Born in 1797 to ethnically Jewish parents who lived comfortably but modestly in Duesseldorf, young Harry Heine, as he was so named, entered life in an essentially Roman Catholic city whose Jewish residents, but only a minority of the German majority, had welcomed the liberal reforms introduced by Napoleon. Harry’s parents put the poet-to-be in a German kindergarten at age four while concurrently instructing him in Jewish traditions at home and making available additional instruction in the Jewish religion in a private school. Harry attended the local Lyceum in a Franciscan cloister run and taught by Catholic priests, often Jesuits. Discipline was strict— designed to provide useful subjects of Napoleon.
In the Lyceum Harry became fluent in French, not as a second language but on an almost equal footing with his native German. It was to the good fortune of the young Jewish boy that the school Rector Schallmayer, a Jesuit who shared his student’s love for everything French became a special friend and mentor. Schallmayer even tried to persuade Harry to enter the priesthood. Although the poetic side of Catholicism appealed strongly to young Harry, he chose the secular life. In his later years Heine was to immortalize these priests and their peculiarities in the Buch Le Grand (1827) and his Memoiren (posthumous 1884). As if prompted, even compelled, by an innate instinct he also wrote mocking, even blasphemous passages in the Reisebilder (1826) and other poems about his early experiences and schooling.
By virtue of his personality, political leanings, and literary talents Harry Heine was to become an important force during the reactionary period the Germans refer to as the Vormärz, i.e., from 1815, the time of Napoleon’s defeat and the death of his liberal reforms, to the March revolution of 1848 and the resurgence of liberalism.
Previous to the Napoleonic reforms, Jews in Germany had been subjected to certain restrictions on their ambitions and activities. Of the professions only medicine was open to them. But in the new liberal climate Jews, including Jews who had previously been “court-Jews” to the various princes and traditional moneylenders in the business sector, soon parlayed their skills into modern banking operations. The most successful of the early Jewish banking concerns was the House of Rothschild, whose founder Meyer Amschel Rothschild, made his fortune during the Coalition Wars, following the French Revolution of 1789. As business allies of the ruling class, the Jewish bankers often were baronized, although still denied citizenship. To Harry’s good fortune, his Uncle Solomon had quickly risen in society to become one such successful banker in Hamburg. He volunteered to pay all Harry’s university expenses, providing only that be become a Doctor of Law.
Thus, Harry Heine entered the university with a sound foundation in the Torah, the Psalms, Hebrew and German folklore, French classics, Napoleonic fervor, ghost tales of the Romanticists, Rector Schallmayer’s rationalism, and Jonathan Swift’s brutal satires. These influences would stay with him through out his life.
At Bonn University, Heine enjoyed the special attention of August Wilhelm von Schlegel, a critic and interpreter of foreign literatures, as well as that of Ernst Moritz Arndt, who had been a staunch opponent of Napoleon’s “aggressions.” Heine went along with his fellow students by pretending to welcome Germany’s liberation from Napoleon. While still at Bonn Heine wrote an appreciative sonnet about his days at the university, but in later years in his Romantische Schule (1836) in a vile passage, he repudiated with bitter ingratitude the sentiments he had earlier expressed.
It being the custom in those days for students to move from university to university to seek out the curriculum and professors they felt most comfortable with, Heine nevertheless chose Göttingen in the Hanover region where he found the inhabitants of the region as well as the students at the university to be rather arrogant and standoffish to Jews. Members of the nobility, for example, had separate benches in the classrooms and ate their meals at a reserved table in the Mensa (student cafeteria). In both Bonn and Göttingen, Heine chose mostly courses in literature and history, completely disregarding his uncle’s wishes for him to study law.
For his next and final university Harry Heine chose Berlin. It was a total success. There he was able to make contact with some of the most important people of the day. Nightlife offered operas, theaters, restaurants, wine rooms, and the opportunity to socialize with celebrities in the literary salons of wealthy Jewish ladies. Heine became a regular at Frau Rahel’s salon where he socialized with such worthies of the day as Baronin Elisa von Hohenhausen, the translator of Byron, the world famous philologist Franz Bopp, as well as E.T. A. Hoffmann, the jeweler Fouqué, the German poet and botanist Chamisso, and many others.
In August 1822 Heine joined the Verein für Kultur und Wissenschaft für Juden, a society established to bring Jews into harmony with European culture. Not only had many Germans viewed Heine and Jews in general as outsiders, but some rabbis as well, fearing the possible loss of their influence and power in the event Jews were to assimilate, encouraged all Jews to remain with their own people. Although Heine rejected all religious dogma, his core nature, his racial instinct, as it were, compelled him to support the Verein. The friendships he made in the Verein with fellow Jews were to last a lifetime. Even when he confessed to friends that he had lost his faith in rabbinical dogma and all dogmatic religions, he nonetheless continued to support the Verein and all such agencies established to aid Jews.
At the university Heine took an immediate interest in Hegelian philosophy, attending many of Hegel’s lectures. Later in life he confessed to Ferdinand Lassalle, a German Jewish socialist and political agitator, that he never really understood Hegel but was dazzled by the excitement of it. Heine was to use Hegelian terminology later in his Buch Le Grand merely to make fun of it. With the philologist Franz Bopp he studied Sanskrit and Hindu mythology, to which von Schlegel had earlier introduced him in Bonn. He also studied romantic theories of religion under Schleiermacher and Homer under Friedrich August Wolff. All the while young Harry Heine neglected to study law as his uncle had wished.
After completion of his studies in Berlin, it was Heine’s intention to visit Paris, but he had not reckoned on Uncle Solomon who insisted on his finally obtaining a law degree. Solomon felt that if poetry failed to earn his nephew a decent income, he would be able to fall back on his law degree. Harry therefore returned to Göttingen, where he pursued his study of the Corpus Juris. In June 1824 in preparation for his entry into the real world, Harry Heine decided to be baptized in the Lutheran Church, where he was duly named Christian Johann Heinrich Heine, the name by which he would be known henceforth. He explained to his Jewish friends, “ It is the ticket of admission into European culture”. Of his conversion to Christianity, which he was to regret for the rest of his life, Heine is quoted as saying, “It is extremely difficult for a Jew to be converted, for how can he bring himself to believe in the divinity of another Jew?
In July 1824 he successfully defended his theses in Latin and was awarded a Doctor Juris. Heine was flattered when Professor Hugo, the dean of the law faculty, congratulated him and compared him, in his combination of poet and jurist, with Goethe.
Heine’s continued publishing sweet lyrics and bitter prose. The Book of Songs (1827), inspired by his unrequited love for his uncle’s daughter Amalie, was his most famous collection of lyrics, some of which like Die Lorelei (1822) are known the world over; others served as texts for some of Germany’s song composers (Schubert, Schumann, Mendelsohn). The Romanzero collection (1853) is considered Heine’s most artistically mature poems. Heine’s major prose works (Die Harzreise (1826), The Romantic School, Atta Troll (1847), Germany: A Winter’s Fairy Tale (1844)) are masterpieces of wit, irony, sarcasm, cynicism, and satire. Of Heine’s lyrics, Nietzsche said:
The highest conception of the lyric poet was given to me by Heinrich Heine. I seek in vain in all the realms of millennia for an equally sweet and passionate music. He possessed that divine malice without which I cannot imagine perfection…and how he employs German! It will one day be said that Heine and I have been by far the first artists of the German language.
In 1841, after a second instance of unrequited love, Heine married an illiterate 19-year-old Paris shop girl whom he nicknamed “Mathilde”. Mathilde knew no German and had no interest in cultural or intellectual matters. Though they stayed together for many years, it was not a happy affair. Of marriage Heine is quoted as having said, “Music played at a wedding always reminds me of the music played for soldiers before they go into battle”.
In the period from 1830 to 1850 Heine with Ludwig Börne (another youthful Jewish political agitator) became the intellectual leaders of the “Young Germany” movement, a literary clique really, that attempted to catalyze the artists and writers of Germany and convince them that it was their duty to help bring about political and social change, including especially full equality in German society for all Jews. Writers who did not accept this premise were to be considered sterile aesthetes or antisocial reactionaries. To achieve this goal, they used their highly developed weapons of wit, irony and satire to debunk the arguments used against them and to defame those thought to be blocking their path. However, too many literary and political critics rejected their cold intellectualism, materialism and their feigned melancholy “Byronism”.
Heinrich von Treitschke (1834-1903), a prominent and very influential German historian of the time criticized the arrogance, the unjust allegations, and unbridled ambition of the proponents of the movement. Treitschke described the negative effects Jewry was having on German society in trying to create a hybrid German-Jewish country. In a pamphlet called A Word about Our Jews he wrote, “year after year, out of the inexhaustible Polish cradle there streams over our eastern border a host of hustling, pants-peddling youths, whose children and children’s children will someday command Germany’s stock exchanges and newspapers.” Treitschke also popularized the phrase The Jews are our misfortune, which took such hold that it carried right through the National Socialist period.
Von Treitschke’s views on German Jewry were countered by Theodor Mommsen (1817-1903), an equally prominent German historian, issued his Declaration of 75 Notables against Anti-Semitism in which he rejected Treitschke’s polemic, saying
In an unexpected and deeply shameful manner, the racial hatred and fanaticism of the Middle Ages is being rekindled in various places and directed against our fellow Jewish citizens. What is being forgotten here is that many of them have bestowed benefit and honor upon the fatherland through their industry and talent in commerce and trade, in the arts and sciences.
The scales were again temporarily balanced between those that saw only bad in the Jewish presence and those who saw considerable good. Heinrich Heine was to demonstrate an abundance of both qualities — good and bad — in his life. Increasingly, however, his bitter satirical and polemical writing gradually took precedence over his lyrics. Though Heine continued to produce poetic works of the first order, he gradually lost the close touch with folk poetry and folklore that he displayed in earlier years. Politically, Heine’s writings were sometimes referred to as radical liberal and at other times as blatantly revolutionary. He met and remained on friendly terms with Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Harry Heine, the German lyricist, had finally become the internationalist Heinrich Heine, political poet and literary critic. Heine is quoted as saying: “I had once a beautiful Fatherland; the oak tree grew so high there; violets nodded softly. It was a dream”. The transition was complete.
In effect Heine abandoned the angels of his New Testament youth for the demons of his Old Testament inheritance. Baudelaire saw something of that in Heine, praising him as a writer who “would be a genius if only he turned himself more often to the divine.” At times, Heine would even lash out and criticize his own people for the commercialism and other unattractive traits. He would then apologize and reaffirm his allegiance to his Jewish origins.
When in 1830 the revolution in Paris swept the last Bourbon from his throne and made France a constitutional monarchy, Heine decided to resettle there, spending the last 25 years of his life in Paris. In 1848 Heine suddenly suffered paralysis and was confined to bed until his death in 1856. Before dying he declared himself a Deist and not an atheist, but rejected all organized religions. As for any mischief and transgressions he might have committed, Heine is quoted as saying: “Of course God will forgive me; that’s His job”.
Most critics saw Heinrich Heine as an indisputably great poet, satirist, and polemicist. Writing in 1933, Prof. Robert Herndon Fife of Columbia University gave a positive portrayal: “The infusion of a keenly dialectical spirit into the passions of romanticism; and intermingling of Jewish-Oriental with Germanic characteristics wrought results which were new in the history of literature.”
But it was precisely that intermingling of Oriental and Occidental traits that others found offensive. Adolph Bartels (1862-1945), for example, a significant German poet and journalist in his own right, spoke for others when he said of Heine that he was “No creative genius, simply a constructive talent, merely a virtuoso.” Bartels himself was a strong proponent of völkisch literary works long before the National Socialists even appeared on the scene. When they did, Heine soon became persona non grata and Bartels’ school of prose and poetry achieved quasi-official status. Hitler personally awarded Bartels the Adlerschild medal, Nazi Germany’s highest civilian honor in 1937.
Heine, therefore, was a conflicted personality in the sense that his core nature, his Jewish heritage, often clashed with his Germanic and Christian environment. Heine was endowed by his parents and heritage with certain advantageous Jewish attributes such as a natural affinity for his own people (racial solidarity), verbal facility, aggressiveness, exclusivism, sharpness in intellect and wit, a divine (or demonic) discontent with things as they are, as well as a feeling of superiority living in a strange and hostile world in need of enlightenment. His environment nurtured and formed his second nature as it were, providing him with the best education possible, recognition and reward for his talents, and a changing and contentious political climate in which to use his natural gifts to the full. Heine, the lyric poet, was and remains particularly beloved and admired in the Germanic world, just as Heine, the prose satirist, is especially appreciated in the Jewish diaspora.
For most, it is easier to think of Heine as a Jewish poet and polemicist who became a virtuoso in German lyric poetry just as Heifetz, Stern and others became virtuosi in German music than it is to think of him as a German poet who earnestly wanted and fought for a more liberal Germany.
Because of his sarcastic, snide, and downright insulting remarks about individuals, institutions, and places that had nurtured and informed his youth, Heinrich Heine – the political agitator – understandably angered the German people who saw him clearly as an ingrate and traitor for denigrating the culture and values of Germany and for trying to replace them with those of his own. In effect, he was violating a basic rule of civilized behavior, which he should have learned somewhere along the course of his troubled life, namely, the Hebrew Proverb, “Cast no mud into the well from which thou hast drunk.”
More importantly, however, is the fact that those particular attributes, good and bad, that Heine inherited from his forefathers and that served him so well were also present in greater or lesser measure in many of his fellow Jews as they advanced to ever greater power in German society. Jewish ethnocentrism, their critical attitude toward the Germany combined with a relentless drive to power became very evident as Jews came to dominate the German legal and medical professions, the banks, and the mass media. Concurrently, they also became dominant in political revolutionary movements, especially communism. The accumulated resentment of the German people against the participation of so many members of the Jewish community in subversive (Communism) and decadent (Weimar) activities eventually came to a head with the rise of National Socialism.

Interesting and as far as I can judge well-written and accurate. Looking into Jewish influence has something of the effect of opening a door to a room which has been locked and guarded for a long time. I hate to be critical, but I feel words such as ‘liberal’ and ‘reactionary’ and ‘oriental’ and even ‘German’ ought to be used cautiously, since they have themselves been formed or warped by the policy of silence.
(And not just Jewish influence. Britain was influenced in subtle ways by India, another ‘oriental’ culture: some people consider the class system was reinforced by the caste system. And Islam had odd effects, too, I think partly because desk-bound bureaucratic Oxford types felt rather unmentionable admiration for tough camel riding non-thinkers).
An extremely important essay, it opens the door to exploring Germania and Germany before 1933 and shedding some light on the revulsion toward Jewish Germans who have always somehow neglected to report their hostile activities toward the ethnic Germans for decades before 1933.
One thing that might be emphasized more in future writing is the impact of the overall unification of most of the German principalities on January 18, 1871. The princes of Germania stayed (for a while) but most recognized the King of Prussia as emperor of the German Empire on that date with far-reaching consequences.
Before then, there was basically only a cultural unity of sorts — after that Germany struggled to truly unify, and discovered that it was told what it was and what its faults were by the likes of your topic for today, Heinrich Heine, and that other one, Heinrich Graetz, who launched a campaign of defamation against both Germans and Christians in 1868, leading the way to a revulsion against Jewish Germans by ethnic Germans.

The inner jew always manifests itself, sooner or later, no matter how much they’ve benefitted from European civilization. They’ve always been our enemies and always will be.
This article induces me to make the following observations :
1) A Jew, no matter how much he has adopted the culture ( or even religion! ) of his host country, will always remain conscious of his Jewish identity and direct his loyalty likewise.
2) A talented Jew, no matter how much accepted by his host society, will always try to use his talents to promote the interests of his Tribe.
3) Those tribal interests always require some fundamental “change” in the host society, which ultimately will prove to be destructive.
4) The Jewish Young Germany movement of which Heine was a member was meant as a vehicle of such change in favor of Jewish tribal interests. ( this reminds me immediately of the Young Turks movement in Turkey, founded by crypto-Jews (Dönmeh) who succeeded in secularizing Turkey…. for the benefit of the Jews ).
5) Mark also how Heine, though accepted by the elite of Germany, cultivated at the same time friendships with subversive Jews such as socialist Ferdinand Lassalle and communist Karl Marx, which is typically Jewish behaviour.
6) Taking into account Heine’s behaviour of “excel-and-subvert”, which is displayed by almost all gifted Jews in gentile societies, shouldn’t we not be better off if we “missed” Jewish genius in our culture?
6) In short, shouldn’t we concur with Treitschke’s slogan : Die Juden sind unser Unglück?
Heine is also important in the transmission of ideas from and about German culture to France and the rest of Europe, particularly in his History of Religion and Philosophy in Germany (1835), which distorts through liberal spectacles to my mind and should be compared to Mme de Stael to which it is in part a reply.
I’m not so keen on “is quoted as saying” as a device – I always ask myself “by whom, where and on what authority?”

T.S. Elliot may have had a few things to say in the 1920′s. Ezra Pound, if you like his style of obscure Italian analogy, also had a few things to say back then. But, with the exception of Jack Kerouac when he was in a Mel Gibson mode, not much has been said since 1969 when Kerouac slapped around Alan Ginsburg on national Television.
All of the college English majors’ in the last 40 some years, and no one even attempting to use poetic license on the highly destructive sons & daughters of Israel.
You would think there would be at least one smart small journal devoted to publishing anti-semitic poetry & short stories. Even if it didn’t advertise itself as such.

Hardly. A “class system” based on Jew-finance has nothing to do with a caste system, a traditional Aryan social structure based on spiritual reality. Disraeli [Jew] and his British East India Company did everything to destroy it, and the work was only continued by the British-’educated’ and hence Hindu-ignorant traitors like Nehru and Gandhi.

@Fender, I agree with you. Jewish relationships with Gentiles are nearly always a transitional phase for them like the proverbial stepping stone. As soon as they reach a point where they can’t pluck the low hanging fruit from the Gentile garden, they’re through with same and then see the Gentile as the mortal enemy. “What have you done for me lately? Now you’re my enemy.” That’s when the “culture of critique” begins. Unending criticism with no solution other than our destruction and replacement.

Yes, the case of Heine underlines one of the most difficult issues facing those of us looking for a revival of genuine nationalism. Bluntly put, “Is there in fact a good jew?” It would be very good to read Michaels’ sketch, however tentative, of the possible continuity of jew writing from Heine to Kafka and Tucholsky.

@James O’Meara: Yes; thanks for the references to Danielou and John R Bradley. I looked at your linked blog and of course the Indo-European/ Aryan idea is of great importance – a mid-stage between the present limits to which evolution can be retrospectively examined, and the more recent world. It’s tantalising to think whites may have been far more widespread in the past. (David Duke had a moment of inspiration of that type in India, didn’t he). All I meant by the reverse Orient effect was a memory of an H G Wells remark, that a lot of beliefs about Yoga and Kundalini and pyjamas and bungalows etc came back from India, and if there was a new emphasis on class in England, it may have been borrowed too.
I wish I could be more certain about the British in India, for example Bengal famines, looting of houses, etc. I once asked the head historian at the Imperial War Museum if he knew about the ‘purchase system’ by which officers bought a commission; maybe a whole regiment, for all I know. It certainly sounds like a mercenary set-up. But the relatively tiny numbers of British in India, and the size of the country, and difficulties of transport, and apparent lack of looted artefacts, plus the collaboration with local rulers, make the pre-20th century stuff sound exaggerated. Of course I may well be wrong. I’d also like to know the extent that Britain was carrying out Jewish instructions; events from 1939 to today certainly suggest this can very plausibly be projected back.

Very good comments here. To try to go with the evolutionary behaviour models, is it possible that the strategy is not “Is it good for us Jews?” but rather “Is it bad for the goyim?”
Maybe that provides a more accurate view. It would help explain malevolent behavior (‘malevolent’ = ‘evil wishing’) as in trying to cross breed whites out of existence. It maybe explains the ‘holohoax’ better – after all, the films lies, press releases etc preceded the shake-downs and excuses for wars etc. It may explain ‘young Turks’ and ‘young Germans’ and all the rest. And malicious damage to civilians etc.

The Hebes don’t really have a numbers problem because they’re designed as an elite/imperial/admin caste so they have no problem being hated by the ‘masses’. This special relationship with the elites is the real problem.

I find the most telling part of the article to be Heine’s conversion to Christianity. Whether the quotes are Heine’s or not, they are true in the sense that Jews think in that way: the conversion is a means to an end, as a Jew is already a deity.
@Marcus: Cromwell did not invite the Jews to England. Cromwell was England’s Judas. He was bought off by Dutch Jewish bankers to de-throne the Stuarts in order that the Jews could return.
There was a re-run in 1688-89 with William of Orange, who was also bought off by Dutch Jewish bankers. That led to the creation of the Rothschild owned Bank of England, which is another ploy used by the controllers – name an entity after the country you are trying to destroy. Edward I (17 June 1239 – 7 July 1307), also known as Edward Longshanks signed the the Edict of Expulsion in 1290, by which (it is claimed) the Jews were then expelled from England. Wikipedia claims this edict was formally ‘overturned’ in 1656.

But as regards de jure, the Edict remains law. The English have simply failed to act upon it.

I don’t know about Jew led, or about 350 years, but certainly by the mid 19th century the Rothschilds were terribly powerful and the driving force behind many of the most controversial episodes involving Empire. overthrown due to corruption and the Sassoon family fled to Bombay, India. This was the strategic trade route to interior India and the gateway to the Far East. In a brief time the British government granted Sassoon “monopoly rights” to all manufacture of cotton goods, silk and most important of all – Opium – then the most addictive drug in the world!
The Jewish Encyclopedia of 1905, states that Sassoon expanded his opium trade into China and Japan. He placed his eight sons in charge of the various major opiumexchanges in China. According to the 1944 Jewish Encyclopedia: “He employed only Jews in his business, and wherever he sent them he built synagogues and schools for them. He imported whole families of fellow Jews. . . and put them to work.”
Sassoon’s sons were busy pushing this mind-destroying drug in Canton, China. Between 1830 – 1831 they trafficked 18,956 chests of opium earning millions of dollars. Part of the profits went to Queen Victoria and the British government. In the year 1836 the trade increased to over 30,000 chests and drug addiction in coastal cities became endemic.
In 1839, the Manchu Emperor ordered that it be stopped. He named the Commissioner of Canton, Lin Tse-hsu, to lead a campaign against opium. Lin seized 2,000 chests of Sassoon opium and threw it into the river. An outraged David Sassoon demanded that Great Britain retaliate. Thus, the Opium Wars began with the British Army fighting as mercenaries of the Sassoons. They attacked cities and blockaded ports. The Chinese Army, decimated by 10 years of rampant opium addiction, proved no match for the British Army. The war ended in 1839 with the signing of “The Treaty of Nanking.” This included provisions especially designed to guarantee the Sassoons the right to enslave an entire population with opium. The “peace treaty” included these provisions: “1) Full legalization of the opium trade in China, 2) compensation from the opium stockpiles confiscated by Lin of 2 million pounds, 3) territorial sovereignty for the British Crown over several designated offshore islands.
Sassoon’s Use British Army to Drug An Entire Nation
British Prime Minister Palmerston wrote Crown Commissiner Captain Charles Elliot that the treaty didn’t go far enough. He said it should have been rejected out of hand because: “After all, our naval power is so strong that we can tell the Emperor what we mean to hold rather than what he would cede. We must demand the admission of opium into interior China as an article of lawful commerce and increase the indemnity payments and British access to several additional Chinese ports.” Thus, China not only had to pay Sassoon the cost of his dumped opium but reimburse England an unheard sum of 21 million pounds for the cost of the war!
This gave the Sassoon’s monopoly rights to distribute opium in port cities. However, even this was not good enough and Sassoon demanded the right to sell opium throughout the nation. The Manchus resisted and the British Army again attacked in the “Second Opium War fought 1858 – 1860. Palmerston declared that all of interior China must be open for uninterrupted opium traffic. The British suffered a defeat at the Taku Forts in June 1859 when sailors, ordered to seize the forts, were run aground in the mud-choked harbor. Several hundred were killed or captured. An enraged Palmerston said: “We shall teach such a lesson to these perfidious hordes that the name of Europe will hereeafter be a passport of fear.”
In October, the British besieged Peking. When the city fell, British commander Lord Elgin, ordered the temples and other sacred shrines in the city sacked and burned to the ground as a show of Britain’s absolute comtempt for the Chinese. In the new “Peace Treaty” of Oct.25, 1860, the British were assigned rights to vastly expanded opium trade covering seven-eights of China, which brought in over 20 million pounds in 1864 alone. In that year, the Sassoons imported 58,681 chests of opium and by 1880 it had skyrocketed to 105,508 chests making the Sassoons the richest Jews in the world. England was given the Hong Kong peninsula as a colony and large sections of Amoy, Canton, Foochow, Ningpo and Shanghai. The Sassoons were now licensing opium dens in each British occupied area with large fees being collected by their Jewish agents. Sassoon would not allow any other race to engage in “the Jews’ business.”
However, the British government would not allow any opium to be imported into Europe!

Sir Albert Sassoon, the eldest of David Sassoon’s sons took over the family “business” empire. He constructed huge textile mills in Bombay to pay slave laborwages. This expansion continued after World War One and ended up putting mills in Lancashire, England out of business with thousands losing their jobs. This did not stop Queen Victoria from having Albert knighted in 1872.
Solomon Sassoon moved to Hong Kong and ran the family business there until his death in 1894. Later, the entire family moved to England because with modern communications they could operate their financial empire from their luxurious estates in London. They socialized with royalty and Edward Albert. Sassoon married Aline Caroline de Rothschild in 1887 which linked their fortune with that of the Rothschilds. The Queen also had Edward knighted. All 14 of the grandsons of David Sassoon were made officers during World War One and thus most were able to avoid combat.
Franklin D. Roosevelt’s fortune was inherited from his maternal grandfather Warren Delano. In 1830 he was a senior partner of Russell & Company. It was their merchant fleet which carried Sassoon’s opium to China and returned with tea.
Warren Delano moved to Newburgh, N.Y. In 1851 his daughter Sara Married a well born neighbor, James Roosevelt – the father of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He always knew the origin of the family fortune but refused to discuss it.
The Sassoon opium trade brought death and destruction to millions and still plagues Asia to this day. Their company was totally operated by Jews ONLY! The corrupt British monarchy honored them with privilege and knighthood – to the disgrace of the Crown! To this day the Sassoons are in the history books as “great developers” of India but the source of their vast wealth is never mentioned!”

Yes…I think you’re right they won’t come to that conclusion, so long as they calculate they have the power to get away with it. They want the land…they don’t want the Palestinians.
However…without wishing to be harsh on the Palestinians, whom I do in many ways identify my own people with, the truth is that Israeli behaviour really does work well for us. I doubt I would be ‘awake’ now were it not for the Israel situation. That’s probably true of a lot of people.
It may not be true for some people that come here, as the IQ level is fairly high. But more ordinary folk like me are being shaken awake by events there.

As Germans were not notably anti-Semitic until the Bohemian Corporal succeeded in mesmerizing them, Heinrich Heine bought into the myth that anti-Semitism was a rational reaction to certain Jewish characteristics and behaviors and would disappear as soon as Jews stopped being Jewish. It will take someone who is not deaf, dumb, and blind roughly thirty minutes to establish that Mr. Sterling’s case has the facts on its side.* Those less fortunate in the functioning-senses department may require another hour to understand that “flat-out lies” is one of the politer expressions that can with reason be applied to this and most of Caleb’s other comments.
*It is a shame, however, that Mr. Sterling repeats the slanderous and ahistorical nonsense about Jesuit and Franciscan enthusiasm for Napoleon, whose hatred for the Cross was as profound and as enduring as that of the Directors whom he replaced in the leadership of the French gulag. Has he truly forgotten that Napoeon arrested, imprisoned, and abused Pope Pius VI such that he died in the process of forced conveyance and ten years later arrested and forcibly detained Pius VII for more than four years? Furthermore, continuing the suppression of the Jesuits was one of Napoleon’s stated objects, and he actively prosecuted and persecuted French priests and laymen who worked for the society’s restoration (which occurred, not coincidentally, in 1814).
Besides, all of Europe’s Catholics, like those of France, knew full well that the only reason Napoleon worked to make peace with the Frondistes and his many other practicing-Catholic enemies—several hundred thousand of whom died in defense of their faith—was that their resistance to his avant la lettre New World Order had already cost the “republic” the lives of roughly fifty thousand of its murderous troops and was a major drag on his goal of European conquest and subjection. Napoleon’s letters make it perfectly clear that he looked forward to the day when with a free hand he could eliminate entirely the “priestly rabble” and restructure the Church along the precise lines followed a century later by Lenin in Russia with the Orthodox Church.
Thus, it is one thing to say that, here and there, Napoleon had isolated soi-disant Catholic enthusiasts—every human group and every county has its villains and traitors, after all, as we white folks of the 21st century know to our dismay—but to extrapolate from an exception to a generality on essentially no evidence at all and at this late date, when the facts are well known, is pretty shameful, as well as being utterly pointless.

As for the likelihood of “Jews stopping being Jewish”, that didn’t happen in the past 3000 years, it will in all probability never happen. Didn’t Heine have masonic/intelligence connections. He was certainly linked to Cabalistic bankers like James Rothschild.
His conversion was certainly fake. All the Jewish baptisms around early 19th were bogus. For social advancement reasons only. They were known as “dry baptisms”. This was an ominous period when the rich and largely converted intellectual Jewish elite were turning their backs on the poorer Jews.
Heine made some uncannily accurate predictions.
He wrote of “a play that would be acted out in Germany that would make the French Revolution look like an innocent idyll.” In context Heine was referring to Germanic martial traits. Seems these traits were to be used to destroy Germany.
Heine intuited the future seductive power of communism as early as 1842. Though it was little mentioned then he saw it as “a dismal hero destined to play a great, if transitory role, in the modern tragedy.” Communism would be “in the old absolutist tradition….but in different clothes with new slogans and catch-phrases…Sombre times lie ahead…I advise our grandchildren to be born with very thick skin.”
Just where Heine nurtured these insights re-20th century history is not hard to fathom given the Cabalistic connections he enjoyed. The “isms” and the (Gentile) blood-sacrifices they entailed were all incubated in Zionist boardrooms and masonic lodges.

You refer I believe to James de Rothschild, head of the French branch of the banking family. He certainly was capitalistic. Where is there evidence de Rothschild was “Cabalistic”?
