Apropos the recent series on chapters from Solzhenitsyn’s 200 Years Together (especially Chapter 18), a new textbook for university students in Russia emphasizes the elite status of Jews in the early decades of the USSR. (JTA, August 8, 2010: ”Russian Textbook Seen as Anti-Semitic“) The Foreword states, “For the greater part of its 70-year history, the USSR was ruled by people of non-Russian nationality.” The book also states that, “By the 1930s, the Jewish nation was the leader among those represented in the Communist party and the state machinery, in Science and Art.”
At this point, the elite status of Soviet Jews during this period is common knowledge among scholars (e.g., Yuri Slezkine’s The Jewish Century), but that doesn’t mean that scholars are free to draw attention to ethnicity in textbooks intended for university students. Predictably, any such effort is regarded as “anti-Semitic”: “some are calling [the book] anti-Semitic because it counts the number of Jews in Soviet governments.” As in the US, Jews are the elite that “cannot tell its name.”
Jewish activist organizations go ballistic over any mention that Jews are a disproportionate portion of American elites–truth is irrelevant. Those who stray into this forbidden territory soon learn that their lives have just gotten a lot more complicated. The result is that people behave like well-conditioned rats in a psychology experiment and keep their mouths shut no matter how obvious Jewish overrepresentation is. The theme of the textbook is that the Russians were ruled by non-Russians. Rule by outsiders had predictably disastrous results for those without power: it was during this period that the most horrific mass murders of Russians occurred. The common sense of it is that Russians would not have murdered huge numbers of their own people in the name of international socialism. (It takes Puritans to do that.) This leads to an often-repeated theme on this website: It is the ultimate folly to allow non-Whites — especially non-Whites with powerful historic grudges — to become a majority and develop the power to rule over Whites.
Also predictably, the article uses guilt-by-association arguments. An author of the textbook was the advisor to a student who is now on trial for murdering two anti-fascists, and the university where the text is used is “tainted by anti-Semitism” because it invited a Holocaust dissident to speak.
Okay. But does that show that the USSR was not ruled by non-Russians during this period or that Jews were not an elite during the worst excesses of the Soviet regime? The same can be said about the comment from the Jewish apologist attacking the idea that deportation of the Crimean Tatars was caused by the necessity of clearing the territory for the proposed Jewish republic. Even if true, it doesn’t go to the heart of the matter. Here’s what Solzhenitsyn says in Chapter 18:
The settlement of the Jews in the Crimea provoked the hostility of the Tatars (“Are they giving Crimea to the Jews?”) and dissatisfaction of local landless peasants. Larin writes “evil and false rumors are circulating throughout the country about removal of land from non-Jews, the expulsion of non-Jews and the particularly strong support the authorities have given to the Jewish settlers”. It went so far that the chairman of the CIK of the Crimean ASSR, Veli Ibraimov published an interview in the Simferopol paper Red Crimea (Sept 26, 1926) which Larin does not quote from, but which he claims was a manifestation of “evil bourgeois chauvinism” and a call for a pogrom.
Solzhenitsyn seems to agree that the Jews were treated very well by the government (with the help of foreign Jewish organizations), and he amply documents the resentments this caused among non-Jews. But he does not state that the Tatars were expelled because of Jewish settlement.
Of course, for all I know, the textbook doesn’t say that either. The Tatars weren’t deported until 1944, long after the project for Jewish settlement had fizzled.

This is a hugely significant development that signals the governing powers of Russia are finally coming to terms with throwing Communism under the bus once and for all, and bringing down the hammer on world Jewish nationalism (which used Communism/Jewish Bolshevism as its Trojan Horse) for its murderous holocaust against the Christian Orthodox, Russian and Slavic people — a totalitarian holocaust that itself contributed to the rise of Hitler and totalitarian Nazism in Germany. The fact of Jewish over representation is not the only form of anti-Semitism. Facts of Jewish under representation are likewise. When I was a lad, early 1950s I had a little book of acts. IIn it were tables of the ethnic breakdown of those serving in the US military in both World Wars.. There were parallel tables for casualties, both wounded and dead.
You cannot find these statistics today and I have tried. It seems that a lobbying group has suppressed the public’s right to know because that information is ant-Semitic. The government keeps such statistics but they are classified. If anyone knows where these numbers are available for wars of the last century and now I would greatly appreciate the information.
Some speculate that more “American” Jews serve in the IDF than in the US armed services. The closest guess by a Jewish source for Jewish service today is c. 8% of their fair share in the neocon inspired wars.

Russians – some with German ancestry who had lived in Russia, Ukraine, etc for centuries – escaped the mass-murdering Jewish communists, fled back to Germany, and apparently contributed to the rise of German National Socialism during the 1920s.

Fat misnomer: Another Attempt to Control Historical Writing on the Role of Jews in the USSR
Again, for a “scholar” KM just can’t help jumping to conclusions.
The textbook in question, aimed at university students, is not worth your time. It is not worth fighting for. Stick with Sleznik and Solzhenitsyn, defending this particular text is like defending the Protocols – stay rational and logical.
Two examples. The textbook isn’t dedicated to Jews, but when it mentions Jews, here’s how: Jews comprised slightly above 2 % of the Soviet population, enrolled in the army at a rate of 1.4%, yet comprised 30% of all evacuees from Hitler’s advancing armies.
Now anyone of you, can see the problem with this statement, or you can’t – you’re scratching your heads saying “I don’t get it”.
The gist of this example is that Jews were somehow benefitting from evacuation, while skirting military service. The reason you fail to get this, is because most of you here know damn well that “Hitler’s advancing armies” were advancing precisely on Jewish settled areas, where Jews often comprised 60% of the population. 2% of the USSR, but 60% of Western Ukraine, Beloruss, Moldavia, etc.
But that’s the type of argument being made about evil Jews, in this silly text.
Second example. The Crimea and the Tartars. Without any substance whatsoever – I kid you not – the text states that once Tartars got the boot from the Crimea, the Jewish Anti-Fascist committee was responsible for this.
This is not history, this is pure shit. The Tartars were kicked out of the Crimea because they collaborated with Hitler. Stalin didn’t exactly like this. He treated all collaborators the same. No need for Jews here. Not to mention that it was Stalin’s idea in the first place, to offer Jews the Crimea, and one that Soviet Jews rejected out of hand as outlandish. But lo and behold, this so called textbook, fantasizes about another Jewish occult octupus dispossessing Crimean Tartars!
Now I can imagine how Nordics would react to a textbook which alleged that they bore exclusive responsibility for Southern Slavery, and the Genocide of Native Americans – you’d call it bad history, period. Well, I hope you can grant that bad history isn’t good for anyone, anti-semites, or philo-semites.

Actually, jews have made standard textbooks that state whites are exclusively responsible for Southern Slavery, the ‘genocide’ of “native Americans” (even though there are more of them now than back in the day) and every other ill that has befallen mankind.
Jews do avoid military service for the most part. Always claiming to be avoiding some type of advancing anti-semitic force or avoiding anti-semitism within the military itself, on and on and on. The funniest one I’d seen the last few years was Olympic Champion swimmer Lenny Krayzelburg, whose parents claimed they moved from the USSR (Ukraine) because the mandatory military service would have had Lenny having to put up with anti-semitism in the army. Yet off the record it was a big joke, with Lenny making fun of the schlubs left behind who had to join up and march while he and his family easily left the USSR for L.A., what with all jews being considered refugees when it comes to immigration. The made up stories of Lenny’s trials and tribulations, like walking mile after mile to practice before and after school (all colossal fabrications) just add to the ‘legend’. In the end, So typically jewish. Lenny’s story is representative of the tribe, of their culture. Run for it when you have to serve someone else. Yeah, I know for a fact he and his family made up stories about struggle and more.

AJ, you’re full of it. You have not presented any evidence to contradict the book or KMs conclusions. Of course Jews were given preferential treatment during the evacuation. Of course they were able to skirt military duty. Slezkine’s book thoroughly documents that prior to the war, Jews received massive preferential treatment at Russian universities. They were an extremely valuable resource and every effort was made to conserve them.

@ Ole Johansen: The sad reality is that the Puritan tradition has been one of the biggest problems faced by White people, as repeatedly stated on this blog and in other writings by me, including the link in the post. People of Puritan descent have to accept some considerable responsibility for our current plight and our lack of unity. White unity is wonderful, but White racial consciousness will not happen until we reject the crusading moral universalism that has resulted in going to war on their White cousins. I have argued that is an ethnic tendency among all Whites, but it is clearest and strongest among the Puritans and has been a powerful force in American history.

The only jewish art form I admire is film noir of the late 40′s/early 50′s. The interesting thing about noir is that social commentary was usually implied rather than overtly stated…UNLESS the commentary was addressing anti-semitism. The jewish rulers in hollywood would preach at great length about that.
Your comment reminded me of a noir movie from the ealy 50′s called “Crossfire” starring Robert Mitchum and Robert Ryan. The antagonist is a GI who hates jews because they didn’t fight in WW2. The moral of the story was that the jewish character who was murdered for being a civilian instead of a soldier had in fact been discharged earlier because he was wounded at Iwo Jima. (yeah, right)
When I watched the movie, I could tell that it was nothing more than a pathetic attempt to change the public’s perceptions about the lack of jews in the military. It must’ve been a very common perception back then. I remember my WW2 vet dad ( who’s 90) mentioning something about the lack of jews a long time ago. I’ll ask him next time I see him. You NEVER hear anything about it now.
BTW, I actually met one of the first women allowed to join the Marines. She was a jew, believe it or not, and through our conversation, it became very clear that her goal from the beginning was to strike a blow for feminism, not serve her country. She spoke of the Marines rather contemptuously.
The lack of Jews on the front lines of the US Army in WWII was a topic in one of the Studies in Prejudice Series, sponsored by the American Jewish Committee (the series that included The Authoritarian Personality), published around 1950. It was a common perception in the military that Jews were in non-combat roles. Needless to say what their conclusion was.

I don’t think you can reject nature. As another blogger put it, exactly right in my view, these universal ideas are unifying ideas. It’s how white people unify. We have to use our nature not fight it.
For example, diversity kills, at least in blue-collar environments. It might work out in very high IQ areas like a university campus but in lower IQ areas diversity kills. If the MSM ever told the truth or if it was ever studied honestly this would be irrefutable.
Therefore the people who promote and engineer “diversity” in those sort of neighbourhoods through mass immigration and forced integration are accessories to murder. On the scale it has been implemented throughout the western world for the last 60 years they are accessory to mass murder. The people responsible for it should be tried and executed for attempted genocide under international law.

Moral Universalism is precisely what motivates my interest in White advocacy. Working/middle class White Americans are getting a raw deal. This offends my moral sense of right and wrong. Therefore, I am interested in solutions to this situation. I suspect this is the case for most people interested in White advocacy.
Regarding the Civil War: it was the South Carolinians who fired on Fort Sumpter, not the other way around. Perhaps the blame for the 600,000 dead should be placed on coastal Carolina plantation owner’s short-sighted, amoral calculations of self-interest, not “Puritan” crusading zeal.
Likewise, the transatlantic slave trade was perputuated because of short-sighted amoral calculations of self-interest on the part of slave owning elites. Considering the entire history of Puritanism in the English speaking world, it seems to me that it was the greatest EGI success story in the history of the human race. In 1558, when Protestantism first became the official religion of both England and Lowland Scotland, the Protestant English speaking peoples numbered less than 5 million – confined entirely to Britain. Between that time and 1890 they increased to more that 100 million, and they overspread North America, Australia and part of Ireland. Credit should be given to their moral system, which encouraged hard work, law and order, and fanatical sexual morality (and thus a high birth rate).
It was in the 20th century, the amoral Nietzschean century of Hitler’s fascism (which gave White nationalism a bad name) and Mencken’s libertarianism (which encouraged contempt for the morality of the commoners among the self-styled “elite”), that White English-speaking Protestants lost self-confidance and began to decline.

My father had a wonderful, Italian-American work colleague from New Jersey, unfortunately now deceased. He had served in the US Navy and used to speak contemptuously of the Coast Guard as the “Jewish Navy”…the implication being that large numbers of Jews who would under normal circumstances be eligible for the draft found themselves gravy spots in the Coast Guard…well away from any hot metal flying around.
I don’t know how true this is (although I have little reason to doubt it) – but there is sufficient anecdotal evidence to suggest that Jews should be deeply ashamed of themselves for not playing a greater role in defeating Nazi Germany, which they never tire of telling us, was an existential threat to their people.
Of course not only will they NOT show any shame for their lack of service – but they will unashamedly continue to use the Holocaust(TM) as a blunt weapon to brow-beat Americans for not having done enough, soon enough.
It would be funny if it weren’t so perversely sad.
