Glorious 1937! In that year Stalin finally came to understand that it was Zionism, not Communism, that was being built in the USSR and he destroyed it. After 1937, Suvorov and Kutuzov, Nakhimov and Ushakov, Bogdan Khmelnitsky and the “Knight in Tiger Skin” became the national symbols. And the Russians, Ukrainians, Belorussians – all those whom the Zionists had destroyed and left to rot in prisons, labeled “nationalists” or “anti-Semites – returned. General Viktor Filatov[1]
In his book Myths and the Truth about 1937: Stalin’s Counter-Revolution (YAZA-PRESS, Moscow, 2010, 288 pp.), Andrei Burovsky assumes the role of devil’s advocate or apologist for the crimes committed by Josef Stalin during the time of “The Great Purge.”
This is a highly revisionist point of view, so a bit of biographical information is in order. Burovsky was born in Taganrog in SW Russia in July 1955. He majored in history at the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical Institute, defended his Candidates Dissertation (The Historical and Cultural Stages of the Development of the Paleolithic Yenisei River) at the Leningrad Branch of the Institute of Archaeology in 1987, and defended his Doctoral Dissertation (Problematics in Anthropo-Ecology in 1996. He was made a professor in 1998 and since that time has had a position at Krasnoyarsk University.
Burovsky is a prolific author (see, e.g., here). Aside from Burovsky’s 12 books on Jewish topics (I previously reviewed his Empire of the Intellect for TOO), he has written on a variety of subjects, including Noogenesis and the Formation of the Noosphere School, 1996; Anthropo-Ecosophia, 2009; Petersburg as a Geographic Phenomenon, 2003; Arian Ancestors, 2005;The Great Civil [sic] War, 1939-45, 2010; Russian Atlantis, 2007; The Novgorod Alternative: The True Capital of Rus; Peter the First: The Accursed Emperor, etc.
Burovsky’s view is that the events of 1937 did not represent the usual case in which the devil under indictment is accused of crimes against innocent victims, but rather a case in which the devil is alleged to have committed crimes against another devil of even greater evil; it was the war between Stalin and Trotsky. True, Stalin had succeeded in exiling his nemesis in 1929, but the spirit of Trotskyism, according to Burovsky, had permeated the entire communist establishment and the Red dictator was determined to eradicate it.
The author refers to the war between the two devils as Stalin’s counter-revolution because, until Stalin undertook the great purge, the revolution and the Communist state had been overwhelmingly a Jewish enterprise with Lenin and Trotsky the leading lights. The goal of the Trotskyites, as demonstrated by the Comintern [Communist International], was to establish a permanent worldwide revolution “to fight by all available means, including armed force, for the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie and for the creation of an international Soviet Republic as a transition stage to the complete abolition of the state.”
By this definition, it was quite obvious that Trotsky and his cohorts were embarking upon a reckless and bloody adventure to establish a utopia based on nothing except their own fanciful dreams. To accomplish this, agents in every important country, usually citizens of those countries, either volunteered or were recruited to undermine the bourgeois government under which they currently lived and agitate for world revolution.
According to Burovsky, because Trotsky and a plethora of fellow Jews already held sway in the Soviet Union, many of their coreligionists in the free world both openly (when possible) and secretly (if not possible) admired the accomplishment of their fellow Jews and lent their services in the establishment of the proletarian utopia. Trotsky was idolized by a very large number of Jews on the left—an entirely mainstream movement among Jews at the time. This is an example of the Jewish guru phenomenon so characteristic of Jewish intellectual and political movements.
For Burovsky and many outsiders, the internal political wars within the Soviet Union seemed more like the falling out of a gang of thieves who had stolen the Russian Empire and who were now fighting over the spoils. And thieves they were. Having first hijacked the country and then looted the Russian banks and citizens of their wealth, Lenin, Trotsky, Radek, Kollontai, Dzerzhinsky, and a host of other non-Russians accumulated fortunes. Only Stalin refrained. Like Hitler, his future nemesis, Stalin lived quite modestly. The new Communist elite, on the other hand, lived exceedingly well, frequenting the elegant shops and government offices along Arbat Street, the Fifth Avenue of Moscow, where very few native Russians could afford to visit. These beneficiaries of the Communist Revolution are sometimes referred to as the “children of the Arbat.”
The theme of wealthy elite Jews under Soviet communism also occurs in Yuri Slezkine’s The Jewish Century: “Slezkine describes the life of the largely Jewish elite in Moscow and Leningrad, where they attended the theater, sent their children to the best schools, had peasant women for nannies, spent weekends at pleasant dachas, and vacationed at the Black Sea” (see here, p. 88).
Stalin, aside from his determination to eliminate any possible threat to his sole leadership, also feared that the Trotskyite approach would endanger Communism by alerting the capitalist countries to the threat it represented. Instead, he thought it would be much more prudent to first establish communism in Russia, protect and nurture it, and during this incubation period build the most powerful armed forces in the world ready to pounce on and take the countries of Europe at the most opportune time, namely, when the capitalist states were exhausted from the inevitable next world war. He therefore sought to remove all Trotskyite-infected and other potentially dangerous elements from the Soviet State in a major purge before that war occurred. This, according to Professor Burovsky, was the main reason for Stalin’s Purge of 1937.
For Professor Burovsky the unending bitter political squabbles following the revolution were evidence that the Civil War waged between the White and Red Russians (1918–1922), between the former rulers and the usurpers, was simply followed by an internal civil war between communist internationalist intellectuals who viewed the whole world as their oyster (Trotsky, Bukharin, Zinoviev, Kamenev, and the rest) and the more conservative, nationalistic Stalinists who favored stability. (For example, at a Party Conference in 1918, Zinoviev proclaimed: “We have to get 90 out of 100 million of the population of the Soviet Republic to follow us. Those left over have nothing for us. They will have to liquidated.”)
To be sure, Jews were prominent in both factions, but Stalin insisted their loyalty be directed exclusively to his concept of a “socialist” Soviet Union while their own interests and unrealistic goals be set aside. When, in his eyes, they did not comply, he had them killed.
Burovsky describes how the crimes committed by the usurpers of power in Russia far exceeded anything known to date, including even the French Revolution. During the usurpation of power in the revolution, no fewer than two million met their death. In the continuing period of the internal civil war, Burovsky estimates, 9–13 million eventually lost their lives. Yet, the crimes of the Lenin-Trotsky faction were either glossed over or simply not mentioned in the press or on the radio, while the Western media concentrated on and exaggerated those committed by Stalin during the “Great Purge.” Whereas the French Revolution had pitted Frenchmen against Frenchmen, and the American Revolution, Englishmen against Englishmen, the so-called Russian Revolution was entirely different. This was a case of minorities, mostly Jews, in the Empire usurping power from the majority Russians and destroying previously existing Russian elites.
According to Burovsky, the Leninists and Trotskyites made no secret of their intent to create a new world on the ashes of the old. In their anthem, The Song of the Destroyers, they sing:
We shall burn everything, we shall destroy everything,
We shall wipe everything from the face of the Earth,
We shall extinguish the old Sun,
We shall ignite a new Sun. (p. 155)
Lenin and Trotsky, Burovsky maintains, invented and practiced genocide freely in what they termed the “zoological milieu”, i.e., the Russian people, ruthlessly murdering entire layers of Russian society. As soon as members of the former ruling class (high government officials, generals, intellectuals, clergy, etc.) were eliminated, their positions were filled with Jewish revolutionaries. The children of the former upper classes were forbidden to attend the best schools and universities; only the children of the revolutionaries were granted access. According to Jewish World, 1939, Jews, representing 1.8% of the total population, constituted 20% of the students in higher institutes of learning in the USSR in 1939.[4] (p. 230)
The destruction of Christian civilization was high on Lenin and Trotsky’s hit list. All displays of Christian belief were outlawed. Churches were first looted of their art treasures and then converted into warehouses, theaters, recreation centers, and worse. Priests, nuns, and all other officers of the Church were either murdered or sent to the GULAG. Celebrations of Christmas, Easter, and Holy Days were forbidden. The icon corner in most Russian homes was banned. Because Jews were prominent among the new rulers and enforcers, all acts of anti-Semitism were made punishable by death. In a speech Trotsky announced the unveiling of the first statue in the world of Judas Iscariot, a man, the Communist leader said, who understood that Christianity was a phony religion and had the courage to break the bonds that bound him to it. Similar statues appeared in other cities. The people, however, could not protest because of the laws against anti-Semitism.
Burovsky proceeds to describe how the revolutionaries tried to gradually replace the civilization achieved under the Orthodox Church and the Czars with something entirely alien to the native people. Under the Czars Russia gave the world Pushkin, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, and other giants of literature. By way of contrast, the Communist regime produced a bevy of poets and short story writers. Burovsky singles out Osip Mandelshtam, Yevgenia Ginzburg, and Isaak Babel, who lent their services to the new regime. Mandelshtam, who was a friend of Bukharin, had worked in the ministry of education of the new regime. Babel had actually served in the Jewish-dominated Cheka for many years and wrote almost autobiographically about his experiences in his stories. He was also the mentor of Ilya Ehrenburg, World War II’s most notorious propagandist. Both enjoyed life and indulged in the pleasures of the Arbat. Both were executed in Stalin’s 1937 counter-revolution. Burovsky and the mass of Russian people would maintain that they got what they deserved.
Under the Czars and the Orthodox Church Russia gave the world the paintings of Repin, Rublov, and other such immortals. The Communist regime, on the other hand, introduced abstract “art” produced by such worthies as Kandinsky, Malevich, Altman, Chagall, Shterenburg, and other such. Again, Stalin, like Hitler, preferred socialist realism in art. Whatever the objective merits of the works produced by the artists and literary figures in the early Soviet Union, they reflected the Jewish, not the Russian spirit.
Proceeding then to Stalin’s purge of the Red Army leadership and the NKVD, Burovsky finds much to be applauded. Although Generals Zhukov and Rokossovsky believed that Stalin’s purge had broken the spine of the Red Army and was responsible for the losses in the first years of World War II, Burovsky leans more to the views expressed by Viktor Suvorov in his book The Purge,[5] namely that the purge or cleansing actually improved the Red Army by removing toxic and incompetent elements. Moreover, Trotsky, as first head of the Army and Navy, had appointed many of the top military leaders. Obviously, Stalin considered them tainted and their loyalty to him questionable.[6]
Stalin purged the organs of State security (Cheka, NKVD), notoriously Jewish strongholds, with a particularly heavy and rough brush. According to Burovsky, about 20,000 members of these organs were purged, including almost all the leaders of the Dzerzhinski era: A. Kh. Artuzov, G. I. Boky, M. Ya. Latsis, M. S. Kedrov, V. N. Mantsev, G. S. Moroz, I. P. Pavlunovsky, Ya. Kh. Peters, M. A. Trilisser, I. S. Unshlikht, and V. V. Fomin. Of this Burovsky comments: “It would be difficult to imagine a more repulsive, criminal, and dangerous group of people.” (Diky, p. 240) Nikolai Yezhov, known to insiders as the “bloody dwarf” because he was only five feet tall, was commissar general of state security in charge of both the NKVD and the GRU. He was arrested in January 1939 and shot in April 1940.
As for the crimes attributed to and indeed committed by Stalin, author Burovsky contends that had any of his political adversaries achieved total power, the crime levels would have even been higher. After all, it was Lenin and Trotsky, not Stalin, who laid the cruel and bloody foundations of Communist rule in Russia. The secret police organization, the Cheka, the predecessor and model for the later NKVD and sister agencies, were established in December 1917, as was the GULAG. Literally, armies of secret police ensured that the GULAG would not want for slave labor. In 1919, at the onset of the Civil War (1917–1922) Trotsky was made Peoples Commissar of Army and Navy, head of the Red Army. For a decade in that and other high posts Trotsky was in a prime position to fill the armed forces and government with his own people, mostly Jews, often despite Stalin’s disapproval. During the same period Stalin by virtue of his position as Party Secretary, a less prominent but equally important position, had also been putting his own people in critical posts. In 1929, after Lenin’s death, Stalin finally succeeded in exiling Trotsky, but the shadow of his competitor for leadership lingered on in the persons and policies of the government. Thus, the Communist Party and state in the late 1930s still remained, as most objective observers noted, essentially Jewish.
For example, in 1937 almost without exception the plenipotentiaries (ambassadors) of the Soviet Union to the rest of the world were Jews: Maisky in England, Surits in France, Yurenev in Germany, Shtein in Italy, and Rubinin in Belgium. The Soviet Delegates to the League of Nations were with one exception Jews: Finkelshtein-Litvinov, Rozenberg, Shtein, Markus, Brenner, Girshfeld, Galfand, and Svanidze who was Georgian. Litvinov was also head of the Commissariat of Foreign Affairs. (Diky, p. 222)
At the time of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the Soviet Ambassador was Marcel Rozenberg; the military attaché was Lvovich (pseudonym Loti). The Red Army officers commanding the international brigades were: Division Commander Lazar Shtein (Emil Kleber); other Jewish commanders were Grigori Shtein (Grigorovich), Corps CommanderYakov Smushkevich (Duglas), Red Army General Batkin (Fritz), and others. Abram Slutsky (Chernigovsky), head of the Soviet Foreign Intelligence Service, NKVD, also came and joined with resident NKVD agent General Aleksandr Orlov who supervised a private jail in Alkalade. (Diky, p. 223)
There were three million Jews living in the Soviet Union in 1939. By early 1941, following the division of Poland and pursuant to population-transfer provisions of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, there were 5.4 million Jews inside the USSR. Operation Barbarossa, the German attack on Russia occurred on 22 June 1941 when half the Jews in Poland were under the protection of the Red Army.
Burovsky notes that the end goal of both devils, Stalin and Trotsky, was the same — world communism, but the means chosen by Trotsky to achieve it would have caused worldwide mayhem and countless millions more deaths. It was not long after the purge that Stalin succeeded in having Trotsky himself murdered in 1940 in Mexico by which time war had already broken out in Europe. In the same year of 1940 the Anti-Comintern Pact was signed by a dozen nations with the statement,
recognizing that the aim of the Communist International, known as the Comintern [Trotsky’s organization] is to disintegrate and subdue existing states by all means at its command; convinced that the toleration of interference by the Communist International in the internal affairs of the nations not only endangers their internal peace and social well-being, but is also a menace to the peace of the world desirous of co-operating in the defense against Communist subversive activities.
Countries signing the Pact were: Germany, Japan, China (Nanjing), Italy, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Croatia, and Turkey.
The United States, Great Britain, and France abstained from and even objected to the Pact, believing (or saying they believed) Germany to be the greatest threat. The line between the Axis powers and the Western Allies in World War II was thereby drawn. It would take the West fifty years to correct this mistake.
Soon after World War II and the founding of the state of Israel, Stalin, following a policy of Russification and rejuvenation of the victorious Communist State, attempted once again to reduce the number and power of Jews in the Soviet Union. To this end, he planned another purge, one that would necessarily involve many of his old Jewish comrades. Before he could implement his plan, he was dead. Officially the Soviet leader was reported to have died a natural death, but many speculate that he was killed by the people he had planned to kill.[8]
The devil’s advocate, author Burovsky, rests his case in the defense of Stalin with the words:
Of course Stalin’s regime was awful! But in politics it is very often necessary to choose, not between the good and the better, but between the bad and the worse. The alternatives to Stalin would have been even worse nightmares.…The entire history of the USSR may be seen as an attempt to establish a utopia, and the civil war as the rejection of the utopia by the people.… Like Mandelshtam and Ginzburg, the “children of the Arbat” had not the slightest reason to repent; nor the slightest interest in whom they destroyed…. It is a pity that Stalin did not have another 10 years of life in which to say, like Napoleon, “ the revolution is over”, but we can be especially grateful that Stalin killed the revolutionary bastards, the foul-smelling fungi that accumulated on Arbat Street and that he prevented the fungus from spreading to the rest of Russia and the world. That which has gone down in history as “1937” was in fact the most brilliant and glorious event in the Stalin era. Farewell Comrade Stalin! Thank you! (Burovsky, pp. 280, 284–285)
The verdict for Stalin, according to Professor Burovsky, must be “not guilty” because of mitigating circumstances. The events and crimes so described and attributed to Stalin must be seen as simply ugly episodes of ongoing criminal violence perpetrated by one gangster against another.

So what was happening was a violent internal struggle for the direction of the world-wide distribution of Communism, with one faction winning out over another. This must be taken into account when sizing up the Orthodox Jews who “protest” Israel and their treatment of the Palestinians or any Jews who profess to be “on our side” (gun control is a prefect example) when it comes to preserving Western/White Civilization; it’s just not in their interest. Case in point is the Tea Party; Jews don’t believe in any of the ideals espoused by that political faction and the only reason they would “join” it would be to mis-direct it, control/ sabotage it. A less effective Red Armh would have been a gift from Providence in 1941. Germany could have faced weaker resistance and broken Communism forever.

sWinter in Moscow almost put a kybosh on Malcolm Muggeridge’s journalistic career, until Mother Teresa rescued it, so to speak. He didn’t air-brush out all the Jews in the administration. He resorted to “fiction” because his paper refused to publish atrocities committed by the Soviet regime.
Stalin himself was almost certainly Jewish. Both of his wives were. The analogy of choosing between “bad and worse” would be more appropriately “choose which Jew will do less harm”.

Russians often have odd views on history. Didn’t Slezkine even say that Jewish control pretty much went on in the USSR until 1951 or so?
Anyway, if Stalin did purge some Jews from power, it wasn’t because they were Jews, it was because they weren’t loyal to him…unless all the 1.2 million people he killed during the purge were Jews, which I kind of doubt.
And no, Stalin wasn’t Jewish, he was Georgian. When he was a kid he spent time in an Orthodox seminary. Him screwing around with Jewish women doesn’t mean anything.
And here’s the most obvious part: if Stalin were anti-semitic and engaged in anti-semitic activity, we’d be getting film after film about it, not to mention hundreds of books and TV documentaries. And American Jews wouldn’t have thrown their full support behind the USSR throughout the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. Burovsky is way off the mark here. This is just another attempt by Russian writers to reinstitute Stalinist cosmopolitanism under Putin.
Unfortunately, history doesn’t always provide answers in our rather narrow categories. Was Stalin a bit wary of Jewish power? I think he was in that he understood the Jews to be a threat to his own power. But I don’t believe his convictions went much deeper than that. I live in Russia and have never heard of Professor Burosky, though that isn’t necessarily saying much. Someone’s credibility certainly shouldn’t depend on whether I have heard of him. But his name isn’t exactly on the tips of peoples’ tongues over here.
I also don’t think Jewish power was ever really stopped. When the dust settled in the early 1990s after the collapse of the USSR, Jews ended up with most of the country’s resources. (six of the seven early oligarchs). I think they ended up quite successfully navigating the difficult political environment of the late Soviet Union.
I also tend to agree with “Fender’s” last comment. The fact that Stalin hasn’t come under the scope of Hollywood should say something.
Communism, which I call bolshevism, for I find the latter more repulsive, was a purely Jewish endeavour.
Moses (Moshe) Hess (1812-75) was apologist of Jewishness, proto-Zionist, and proto-bolshevik. In his ‘Rome and Jerusalem The Last National Question, (1862)’ he writes:

It was Marx who has laid ideological foundations to ‘class struggle’. As defined by Hess, and with application of basic logic, the secondary form of struggle was subordinate to the primary one – race struggle. This struggle, or should we say both struggles, would take place in Russian Empire, with ample support from world Jewry.
What happened in Russia is quite easy to explain with teaching derived from the Talmud: wholesale murder of Gentiles by the Jewish race and enslavement of remaining portion of two-legged non-humans (in their repulsive language). No need to mince words here.
In 1961, grateful Jewish ‘race’ brought remnants/ashes of Hess’ to Israel, from Cologne (Germany).
Stalins’s purges of the 30′s only targeted the NKVD in the later stages . 80,000 NVKD victims in just one 30′s pit Most of the victims were ordinary Russians (’80,000 ghosts return to haunt Moscow’ , the Independent 6 Sept 1989). It was uncovered in the early post communist days before the authorities clamped down on the uncovering of such things. The NVKD had taken people, along with their families, out of their flats and shot them. In a Belarus forest 3000 people were found in a circular pit with layers of clothes on top, (They were made to strip before being shot, remind you of anything ?) and it could be seen that there were scores, maybe hundreds of similar pits under the trees. The authorities stopped them digging any more.
The vastness of Russia contains many pits full of the victims of indescriminate mass murder that Stalin ordered, a quarter of a million in 8 locations around Misnk for example.

Stalin deported 800, 000 families in the Russian soviet republic alone during the campaign against the kulak class (which came to take in in peasants with a smallholding who had barely enough to live on themselves ), many of them died. The kulak campaign particularly targeted the ‘black earth’ region of the Ukraine where ‘kulaks ‘ made up Then Stalin deliberately killed a fifth to a quarter of the population of the population of the Ukraine by starving them. I don’t think Trotsky was ever a serious contender for leader, from what I have read Trotsky alienated most of the old Bolsheviks before the revolution by ridiculing them in his journalism and they never forgave him. Stalin’s rise was primarily due to Lenin giving him a low key position (apparently oblivious to the fact that it consisted of appointing all Soviet delegates, thereby making them owe loyalty to Stalin). There was no ‘opposition’ from Jews or anyone else (certainly not by the 30′s) because Stalin’s unassailable power base had been re-enforced by mass terror by that time. As for Stalin’s death being anything but natural causes, well there was a previous discussion of this topic and the man was a very heavy smoker and fairly heavy drinker who died at 75.

In his eagerness to rehabilitate Stalin’s reputation, Burovsky commits some astounding blunders.
For instance:

It is wrong to lump Bukharin together with Trotsky, Zinoviev and Kamenev. The latter three were ethnic Jews, and part of the left wing of the Communist Party, which advocated a foreign policy based on “exporting the revolution” and a domestic policy based on the collectivization of agriculture. Bukharin, on the other hand, was an ethnic Russian, and the leader of the right wing of the Communist Party, which favored a foreign policy based on “socialism in one country” and a domestic policy based on a continuation of the NEP, which allowed the peasants to keep their individual farms.
Stalin, an ethnic Georgian, implemented Trotsky’s domestic policy and Bukharin’s foreign policy. While a full implementation of Trotsky’s program would have been worse for the Russian people, a full implementation of Bukharin’s program would have been much better (no collectivization of agriculture = no Hlodomor).

To my way of thinking, history is revised both in terms of the recovery of suppressed matter and in the re-envisioning of context. The latter requires cryptology.
In my view, The Revolution inaugurated 1789 is now culminating in its Communist phase – which is by definition global. The producers of The Revolution are as covert today as they were in 1789. We might know the production companies or their shell companies, directors, scriptwriters, actors, extras – but the producers are unknown, just as they were in the time of the Russian Revolution.

This review of Burovsky’s work I have found to be one of TOO‘s most compelling presentations. As usual, the Comment section was as stimulating as the article. One does not come away with the impression that Burovsky is actually championing Stalin’s career, so much as celebrating the fact that he managed to take-out so many of the original Bolsheviks. Conflicting details which emerged in the Comment thread suggest that much of the historical data from that period may always remain uncertain.
There’s great irony in the fact that Stalin would never have become a Communist at all except for the Bolshevik Revolution. THE ‘INCORRECT’ SIX MILLION
Alexander Solzhenitsyn in a speech in Washington in 1975 had this to say of the Soviet system which was deemed worthy of recognition as one of ‘our’ Allies fighting ‘for Democracy’ against the ‘Dictators’ in WW2:
“This was a system which, in time of peace, artificially created a famine causing SIX MILLION PERSONS to die in the Ukraine between 1932 and 1933. They died on the very threshold of Europe. And Europe and the world didn’t even notice it. SIX MILLION PERSONS!” (Alexander Solzhenitsyn Speaks to the West (1978) p 16)
Why are these people and their fate generally unknown in western countries?
Roosevelt’s ally Joseph Stalin was supreme dictator of Russia for almost a quarter of a century, from 1929 until his death in 1953. Soviet Russia under Stalin was a despotic police state that relied on internal espionage and terror.
Stalin’s first Five-Year Plan, before WW2, sought to bring about the ‘collectivization of agriculture’ in accordance with Marx’s Communist Manifesto. When Communism was imposed on Russia, the small farmers known as kulaks, as private property owners, stood in the way. In 1929 Stalin called for ‘the liquidation of the kulaks’, and their small family farms, animals, implements and crops were declared to belong to the state. “Trotsky, Zinoviev and Kamenev (all Jews) had always argued that the peasant would never surrender enough food voluntarily and must, if need be, crushed” (Paul Johnson A History of the Modern World (1983) p 268). The army and secret police were used to enforce the policy. All peasants who resisted were treated with violence – an enormous number were killed or sent to exile in remote areas in the frozen north or the desert steppes. Rather than give up their animals, many peasants killed and ate them. As a result, the number of farm animals in the Soviet Union was catastrophically reduced. The peasants stopped farming.
After a while, the cities started running out of food. Orders were given for grain to be confiscated from the peasants. Those caught trying to reserve food for their families were ‘severely dealt with’. By the winter of 1932-3, virtually no food was left in the countryside. By early March 1933, ‘death on a mass scale really began’. The main farming areas of Russia, particularly in the Ukraine, were utterly devastated. It was a time of great and terrible hunger, a catastrophic man-made famine.
Eugene Lyons was sent to Russia in 1928 as United Press chief correspondent. Arriving as an enthusiastic communist, he experienced the catastrophe at first hand. He described the ‘famine’ in his book Assignment in Utopia (1937):
“Hell broke loose in seventy thousand Russian villages.. A population as large as all of Switzerland’s was stripped clean of all their belongings.. They were herded with bayonets at railroad stations, packed indiscriminately into cattle cars and freight cars and dumped weeks later in the lumber regions of the frozen North, the deserts of central Asia, wherever labor was needed, there to live or die..”.
The famine alone is estimated conservatively to have caused 6 million deaths, almost half of them children. Other millions died from the killings and sickness as a result of the deportations.
Lyons, himself Jewish, credits the Jewish commissar Lazar Kaganovich with the major portion of responsibility for this major crime against humanity:
“Lazar Kaganovich… it was his iron hand that applied Bolshevik mercilessness.” (Lyons, p 578). The Encyclopaedia Britannica says tersely, “(Kaganovich) was one of the small group of Stalin’s top advisors pushing for very high rates of collectivization after 1929.. Within the Politburo, Kaganovich.. led the opposition to Kirov’s proposed concessions to the peasantry and to his attempts to relax the harshness of Stalin’s control..”
Kaganovich died at the ripe old age of 98 in 1991 (Encl. Brit.), ethnically safe from pursuit by the Israeli secret service, the Simon Wiesenthal organization and the New York media-intelligentsia. Shhhh!!!
Hitler saw the tremendous danger posed to Germany by Communism. He appreciated the desperate need to eliminate this threat, a fact that earned him the immense hatred and animosity of the Jewish organisations and the media and politicians of the west which they could influence. After all, according to the Jewish writer Chaim Bermant, although Jews formed less than five percent of Russia’s population, they formed more than fifty percent of its revolutionaries. According to the Jewish writer Chaim Bermant in his book The Jews (1977, chapter 8):
‘It must be added that most of the leading revolutionaries who convulsed Europe in the final decades of the last century and the first decades of this one, stemmed from prosperous Jewish families.. They were perhaps typified by the father of revolution, Karl Marx.. Let me put it this way: if the Americans, perhaps under the leadership of MacDonald & co, will be successful in creating a strong in-group of a highly heterogeneous category of A3P-voting “whites”, I’ll be happy for you. But I don’t think that will happen. You already have a category called “non-Hispanic Whites” (and that category includes Jews), so what’s next? You’ll need more than numerical strength to get what you want. I don’t doubt it. But the chief problem with Whites is that they listen to and believe Anti-White nonsense. The masses of Western Europeans all cheer for their own destruction. The Slavs don’t. Imagine a Jewish professor in Ukraine trying to instill White guilt in Ukrainians or babbling on about “White privilege.” Also, unlike the in West, there is no cultural and racial Will to Suicide.
That being said, Eastern Europe has other problems. There’s third world immigration, unemployment, alcoholism, and crime. All of them are deadly, and the Slavs have their work cut out for them. It’s very possible- maybe even likely- that they will go extinct as well, but when it comes to overall survival between the Western Europeans and the Slavs, I choose the Slavs.

Your reply is well-taken. As the salute of my last post was intended to confer admiration and good will, thus also with this, which carries reflections on your reply. This presents an opportune moment to confirm my guess that you are, yourself, Caucasian. At first impression the name might suggest as much, on the other hand this is purely presumption. I could very well be wrong.
Re: points #1, #2. It is certainly true the race is not perfect. But I see no reason to abandon all because a few, or even many, may be gross in some respects. If I, for example, am capable of recognizing traitors and demanding justice, how can I assume that a great many others are not of the same persuasion? Would this not be a leap of complacency?
It would be my guess that most WN’s are under the Christian influence in the sense that Western Civilization is largely a product of Christian life. By and large, I would have to suppose that they follow the Christian ethical system, which is no small thing. It is the heathen nature of Judaism which has brought the world to its present crisis.
Perfect? No, all WN’s are not perfect. Most religious practice in any faith is prettty shallow. This is particularly relevant to a profound understanding of the stuff of “soul.” But it is my understanding that Christ was mindful of human weakness when he gave us his name as a password. None of us is perfect but he will intercede. To my mind this was the Christ mission. By contrast, few people are capable of the discipline of a Budha, but the remainder have been given no mediator.

Re: point #4. Can the whole be rendered valueless by the failure of a few? Since I take my identity from the former, I must say, “no.”
Re: point #5. I am glad to read this. Judaism should be outlawed and its felons brought to justice, as well as Gentiles who have been complicit. Do you think these things will materialize through Divine initiative? If not, are you under the impression that there is a groundswell of Christian prayer out there which will bring this about?
Chris, if you admire WN’s battling Zionism/Globalism/Communism why not join the struggle? I haven’t read any compelling reason why you should not. Come on, every race has a spectrum of behavior, and while admittedly the Slavs don’t exactly excel at british style parliamentarian politics, nor are they conscientious and industrious like the Germans, I don’t get how they’re not white. Are Italians white? Or do you draw the line at northern Italians? Are the Spanish and portugese white? What about the Finns, they don’t speak an indo-European language, maybe they’re dirty Eskimos just pretending to be blonde and blue eyed.
What exactly is your mechanism for determining whiteness?

I think the only thing one might add is that the Trotsky-dispatched Soviet army that Pilsudski, against all odds, decapitated in August 1920 was on its way to Germany to complete the failed socialist revolution of 1918—before the Miracle at the Vistula sent those not put into the ground hightailing it back east as fast as their legs could carry them.

The concept of ‘whiteness’ is not really European, is it? European Europeans are less interested in the term ‘white’ than in meta-ethnicity (Germanic, Celtic, etc), as well as their cultural heritage from Greco-Roman antiquity.
I just think that those who prefer to use the term should try to define it, knowing its expanding tendency (Hispanics, Jews, Sicilians, etc). Genetic research largely confirms that eastern Europeans are less homogeneously European than the historically more isolated western Europeans.

So are they non-white or non-European? Btw, if you were to say you’re European, that would tell me where you’re from, not what you are. They certainly aren’t German, though Russia absorbed quite a few germans in its time. And incidentally paid the favor back in 1945.
Culturally, they have just as much Greco Roman heritage as the West, through Constantinople. Also, Russians originated in Europe as much as goths, celts, franks, etc…. All their old cities such as Kiev, Novgorod, Moscow, etc… are in Europe. They additionally have a Scandinavian, or Varangian influence in their early history.
I understand if you’re from say Germany, and want to keep it German, (or wherever you are from, I’m not quite sure what tribe used the name geyseric). However, the occidental observer is an American website, with an American academic at it’s center, where “white” is a legitimate concept. While once upon a time the white tribe known as WASPs ruled America, that is long past. At this point, nuanced distinctions will only fragment any American pro-white movement, since we have English, Scots, Germans, Scandinavians, Italians, Irish, Checks, French, Poles, Russians, etc… in America.
Finally, articles about the Soviet Union and Russia are instructive from KMs group evolutionary strategy perspective. Russia was the first white nation that fell to Jewish revolution where the Jews where able to wield unchecked power. Yet eventually the Jews were expelled from their position of dominance, at least during the late Soviet Era. Incidentally, Jews hate Russia, cannot shut up about how mean it is/was to them. And can’t seem to do enough to undermine it. In 1905 Jews financed the Japanese in the Russo-Japanese war, and in the 90′s Berezovski(exhiled Jewish oligarch) financed the Chechens.

Yes, but the same American academic has shown considerable interest in the state of affairs in Europe, and his webzine does not have an exclusively American profile. I do, of course, realize that the term white is meaningful for many Americans from different European tribes. RE Hispanics
I would accept some Hispanics as white. They have varying degrees of Indian ancestry and some of them basically are white. Living in the U.S. I’ve seen the whole range. If they chose to self identify as white, and they looked white and acted white, then they can be white. Likewise, while Russians have some mixing with non-whites, it’s markedly less than the mestizos of Mexico et al. There are plenty of blond/blue eyed Russians.
RE American Tribes
American whites can have very mixed ancestries, where “white” is really the most meaningful descriptor. While some have stayed in ethnic communities, others have not.
RE European Whites
They all seem under attack by the same forces of multiculturalism/race replacement. While you want to keep everyone in their respective little niche, the enemy has thrown all of Europe into one big pot. While the details may have local flavors, overall the theme from Madrid to London to Amsterdam to Stockholm to Paris is pretty much the same. And so it goes for U.S., Canada, Australia. South Africa is where we can observe whats in store. Influx of third world immigrants, massive crime, crass abuse of social services and hyper fertility by the new arrivals, who are definitely not white. All while the productive parts of society that are white are basically paying for it all, and not having enough of their own kids. The program is a global one, and its executors think and act globally. To really defeat them, at the end of the day we must also act globally. To act globally, we must have a global identity, and a motivation to act to protect and promote it.

Listen here, ‘Marty,’ the overwhelming majority of the time this normal, natural, defensive reaction to voracious Jewish ethnocentrism, power-grabbing, control of the press which your tribe invariably uses to advance Jewish interests–contrary to the interests of its host nation’s people (e.g., legalization of homosexual marriage)–is justified.
