The departure of Glenn Beck is yet another indication of the power of the left to expunge the media against people and ideas they don’t like. Or at least, that’s the claim. The George Soros-funded Media Matters was all over MSNBC crowing about their success in getting rid of a high-profile critic of their benefactor. A NYTimes account states,
Almost immediately after Mr. Beck’s announcement, the progressive group Media Matters for America, which combats Fox on a daily basis, said it was “no surprise” that he was leaving, given that many advertisers had shunned Mr. Beck’s show ever since he labeled President Obama a racist in the summer of 2009. (Fox has said in the past that the advertisers simply moved over to other programs on the channel.)
Color of Change, the group that spearheaded an advertiser boycott of Mr. Beck, asserted that the program lost “over 300 advertisers.” James Rucker, the executive director of the group, said in a statement, “Fox News Channel clearly understands that Beck’s increasingly erratic behavior is a liability to their ratings and their bottom line, and we are glad to see them take this action.”

The power of Color of Change and the other organizers to sway advertisers is not absolute. An attempt by the same groups to get advertisers to abandon FOX altogether failed.
Still, it’s a very important power–the same power on display in the AmRen cancellations . Although the Supreme Court is holding the line on First Amendment issues by a slim 5-4 majority, the power to control advertisers in a capitalist economy is real weapon because even in the Internet age, some media matters a whole lot more than others. Being able to influence the content at FOX is an important accomplishment for the left.
There is a long history of influencing media messages by influencing advertisers. It’s interesting that some of the allegations about Jewish power in America made by Henry Ford’s The International Jew (TIJ) implicate this strategy, not only in controlling messages about Jews, but as an aspect of developing a Jewish ethnic monopoly in the theater business. During the period covered by TIJ, the power to influence advertising messages derived entirely from actual Jewish ownership of advertisers, especially department store advertising in big-city newspapers. Advertising by department stores–a niche was dominated by Jews–was a major source of revenue for newspapers.
TIJ describes the rise during the 1890s of the Jewish-dominated Theatrical Trust which eclipsed the previous non-Jewish theatrical producers and agents. TIJ states that the Theatrical Trust blacklisted critics who “opposed its methods or pointed out the inferior, coarse and degrading character of the Trust productions.” TIJ claims that critics were fired by newspapers threatened by the Trust with loss of advertising revenue (1/08/1921). …
Although Jews had make strides in ownership of the press during this period, TIJ states that ownership of the press is not critical because Jews are able to exert pressure by withholding advertising. A newspaper that reprinted an excerpt of an article on Jews from the Dearborn Independentlost a number of Jewish advertising accounts the next day (9/11/1920).
TIJ also presents an interesting account of resistance to Jewish pressure by James Gordon Bennett, a non-Jew who owned the New York Herald, the most prestigious newspaper in the city until he died in 1918. According to TIJ, the Jewish owners of department stores threatened the city’s newspapers with loss of advertising if they failed to back a Jewish candidate for mayor. Bennett published the threatening letter and managed to survive the loss of Jewish advertising. Despite Bennett’s victory, Jewish power in journalism increased in New York. The Herald died with Bennett, and “Adolph S. Ochs, a Philadelphia Jew, acquired the [New York] Times. He soon made it into a great newspaper, but one whose bias is to serve the Jews” (2/05/1921). …
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) also receives some attention from TIJ. The ADL is portrayed as organizing boycotts to achieve its ends, often through its ability to control advertising in newspapers placed by Jewish department store owners. The ADL pressures newspapers to remove negative references to people identified as Jews. This pressure has resulted in Jews with negative press being referred to as Russians or as Englishmen, but never as Jews (3/19/1921; 7/03/1920). TIJ also points to a double standard in this regard: “A Jewish paper may shriek to the skies that Professor So-and-So, or Judge So-and-So, or Senator So-and-So is a Jew; but the secular newspaper that should do that would be visited by an indignant committee bearing threats” (9/11/1920). There was a serious, organized, powerful campaign pressuring major companies to not advertise on Beck’s show. Beck, a self-confessed “clown” caused so much consternation that they actually pulled out the heavy guns. His show was constantly discussed in the trade media; the show was called “empty calories” because while he had a huge viewership, they couldn’t get advertisers because of the boycott.
From what I can tell, Glenn Beck “connected the dots” between all these rich Jews and the Communist … er, “Progressive” … movement.
There may have also been some sort of Jew vs. Mormon thing going on. Mormons are actually a significant presence in NYC, they are good at networking and crypsis like the Jews are, and do not seem to have the philo-semitism of so many other Christian groups. Glenn Beck was a famous “Mormon convert.”
I certainly do not count myself as a Glenn Beck fan, but anyone who could read between the lines could see what was going on with him. He called the first Black President a “racist” and said he was “hostile to white culture” and constantly talked about powerful Jews like George Soros influencing our government. Seems obvious why they took him down.
And … he was a clown, a joke. They can’t even abide a clown making jokes about them – that is the situation they find themselves in.

Glenn was hardly a proponent of our cause, and routinely gushed over the Jews. Although, perhaps that was out of fear.
All the same, the power of advertisers to stifle free speech is certainly one of the subtle techniques Jews use to influence the public debate.
I would not be surprised if sometime in the near future there is a Supreme Court ruling that would ban the type of information discussed here, much like the European countries have.

I know virtually nothing about Mormons other than they seem to be a more disciplined lot than other Whites. No drinking, a strong interest in “clean living”, that sort of thing.
Mormonism, from a White nationalist perspective, faces the same tired issues that all organized religions Whites have, which is the relentless desire to spread their religion everywhere and anywhere. All of these missions to Africa and other Third World countries to try and “recruit” members of other ethnicities is just sheer madness. The Jews were smart enough to realize that spreading their religion was the epitome of stupid. Religion has always served to unite people who share a common interest. Whites have no common interest within religion at this point, unless you adhere to some old Pagan practices, which is a small minority that will never take root in any serious way.
Yeah, you are probably right that Jews do view Mormons as a potential threat. There’s also a lot of hostility toward Mormons from ordinary Protestants. Mormons tend to be intelligent, due to eugenic practices (wealthier and more successful Mormons tend to have more kids, in contrast with the rest of the White population). If Mormons can maintain both their eugenic practices and their high overall birthrate, they will be a force to be reckoned with.
Still, they seem unwilling to oppose the Jews. I think Joseph Smith was definitely trying to create a racialist religion when he came up with Mormonism, but in the early 19th century the Jewish problem was not understood in the US, and it seems the “British Israel” ideas had an influence on him, and we see that influence in the Mormons to this day.

The answer to the Jewish question is the key to short and medium-term Western survival and ultimate survival for Whites in this modern world, IMO. Only authentic Christianity (not Judeo-Christian Zionism or Masonic-Christianity) can properly prepare any individual to comprehend the Jewish question. Something that also must be mentioned is that Jews have basically placed their community’s loyalty to America in contention. If Jewish organizations and prominent Jews in government had not worked continuously and incessantly to undermine the cultural mores and character of America, ordinary people (outside of religious zealots and alienated bigots) would not find Jewish organizations to be anymore intolerable than say Japanese or Italian advocacy groups.

Paradoxically, Fox News can be the greatest cheerleader for empire, but also give voice to a small-government anti-interventionist like Judge Napolitano. He’s one of the very few dissidents on network TV, so Fox deserves some credit in the freedom of speech department.

The show on the Federal Reserve is very good. The silly voice he puts on when mentioning the Rothchilds sums him up to me – having fun pulling the tiger’s tail for his own amusement.
There seems to be an unhealthy obsession with the Rothschilds. Glenn had no issue with their Jewish roots, he simply appealed to the fact that they are routinely associated with the shadowy conspiracies he so often espouses. The Federal Reserver episode was not half bad, and in fact, it’s the only episode I’ve actually watched of Beck’s in its entirety.
That being said, most of what came out of that man’s mouth was complete drivel. It’s disappointing to see anyone on this site even attempt to equate him with someone behind our cause as he so often demonstrated himself to be a cultural Marxist of the highest order. Beck’s crime was using Jew and Soros in the same breath on national television in front of millions of unaware people. This is in contrast to what WNists do which is talk about Jews in private or anonymously on the Internet in front of a tiny audience of people who already know about Jews. Well, just to clarify since you liked this idea so much, the core idea here is not original to me. I picked it up from an ex-WNist blogger named Hunter Wallace who owns the Web site Occidental Dissent. He wrote several critiques of the WNist movement a while back, and one of his themes used to be that anonymous Internet comments have little real impact outside of cyberspace.
Not possible to have much impact outside of cyberspace when our numbers are this small. Anonymous internet comments are spreading our message. They are really the only thing at the moment that is actually working. When people say we should stop promoting this stuff on the internet and start following obvious controlled opposition like Glenn Beck, I have to question their motives (not that we don’t have many other reasons to question Hunter Wallace’s motives). I mean, Glenn Beck got a 500,000+ man turnout for his MLK rally – what good did that do for us?

I definitely get your point. I don’t think we should quit promoting WNist ideas on the Internet and line up behind Glenn Beck or his equivalent. I just think we need to be realistic that comments like these reach a minuscule number of unaware people. And reaching few people with any message, by definition translates to very limited impact for that message.
To be sure, Glenn Beck certainly has a very mixed record when it comes to pushing ideas that might have some value for WNists. Obviously Glenn Beck is not pro-White in the sense that WNists use this term. He also promotes a lot of garbage as you correctly point out. This would include pushing agenda items like reverence for MLK, the importance of the Black “founders,” and the neocon war agenda. At the same time however, in the midst of peddling all this garbage, he also broaches highly taboo subjects and makes subversive statements. Beck clearly made enough statements that Jews didn’t like that it got him fired. This would seem to be good evidence that Beck was not in fact controlled opposition but rather the opposite — someone Jews had to reason to believe they could not control. If the Jews in the media establishment believed that Beck was serving their interests, they would left him were he was not have forced off him off the air.
Although it’s highly unlikely that Glenn Beck has ever intentionally tried to help WNists, he also made millions of uninitiated people aware of a very important fact:

How he said this and the other points he made while he said this are less important to me than the fact that he clearly identified George Soros as a Jew in front of millions of people. Not as a liberal. Not as a progressive. Not as a crypto-Marxist but as a Jew. And that’s one of our most important memes: powerful billionaire “progressives” are mostly Jews.
But, I’m not sure how miniscule it is anymore. Sure, the number of people who read TOO is miniscule, but sites like this are sort of like the R&D labs of racialism. Ideas originate here and spread outward. If you look at comments sections of major newspapers, Amazon forums, Craigslist, etc. – I am coming across racialist and Judeo-critical material all the time now, even when I’m not looking for anything even remotely related to it. And then there’s YouTube, which is basically a gigantic virtual race war. This stuff is all over the place now. That wasn’t true even five years ago.
I guess. I will say this: I still think Beck was basically controlled opposition. But naturally he’s got to sprinkle in at least some truth in order to make his shtick believable. Then there’s the fact that this stuff is obviously a huge ratings-grabber (can you imagine how popular an actual WN show would be?), so for Fox News there is obviously some conflict between wanting to make money and wanting to keep the masses under control. What probably occurred is that the few bits of truth Beck was throwing out were sticking in people’s minds more than all the crap about MLK, diversity, etc. (even though there was much more of the latter). The plan wasn’t working, and there was at least enough meat in his criticisms of Soros that it made some people nervous. So he got the axe.

“Until recently” this site was not embarrassing? But you’ve been complaining about “Alex Jones” and attacking other commenters since your very first posts here. So which is it? You can’t say the site “used to be better” after a consistent record of attacks since the beginning? I mean, you can, but no one will take you seriously.
The story here is that he went up against Soros and he was canned. That is all there is to it. The part of it being about Obama follows the classic pattern of obfuscating the true intent. I suspect nearly every Jew knows this, and 99% of the Gentiles will remain clueless.
It’s pretty clear that something stinks when the third-highest rated cable news show (despite recent losses) goes down because of an advertiser boycott. I have never watched the show-it’s not even available in the country I live in except by satellite-but clearly Beck was hitting the occasional nerve and thereby p*ssing off the some sections of the ruling elites. Daydreaming about David Duke getting his own cable show is beside the point.

Whenever anyone makes subversive statements in public that present a problem for Jewish interests, Jews don’t engage the person in a fair debate; they go behind the scenes to get the person fired or taken off the air. Jews did it to Henrey Ford. They appear to have done it to Glenn Beck. They have tried unsuccessfully to do it to Pat Buchanan for 20 years; as recently as a couple of years ago, the chief legal counsel for the World Jewish Congress tried to get Pat Buchanan taken off the air. On a smaller scale, Jews went behind the scenes in the late 1980s to make sure Paul Gottfried was denied an important academic post. Jews also got Joe Sobran fired from National Review by complaning to his employer. And of course Jews have gone after Professor MacDonald’s job as well. Glenn Beck is actually in pretty good company all things considered.
Mormons have always been very supportive of the Jewish Supremacists. They backed down on building a religious institution in Jerusalem once World Jewry got on their ass. They later built a modified version elsewhere than the site they had bought.

You are absolutly right. While Macdonald is right in being worry that power of advertisers abuse their capacity to decide what is the standard of the community, you are right in not expressing regret in seing Beck go away.
There is not much to hope in terms of journalism coming out of these mega media boxes, yet we always hope to see someone emerge that will do a real job of informing, help form opinions, wehter it be on one side of the spectrum or the other. While some may have been happy to see some of their ideas making it to the main stream media screen, the way they were treated by Beck, not only diffused their power but almost ridiculed their initiator. Beck and his mirror images from other similar entities have more a tendency to marginalize any credibility, and create an almost Mass Psychosis from its audience. Very unhealthy. I do not like drab, but Beck was to Fox, what Cramer is to CNBC, and what that big twit was to MSNBC.
I pray for the day though, where we will be able to call a JEW a JEW, especially since they ARE the LEADERSHIP. To be free to criticize our leadership implies that we must be able to call a JEW a JEW.
So meanwhile, I dream of the morning where there will be a WHITE only TV Network (white in terms of ideas, where journalism won’t be propaganda) with only real blondes allowed (no fake ones). Real brunettes and red head also of coarse, just real, with lot’s of real ideas and real news, real opinions and real editorials.

Goes to show that only in America can a “real clown” by the name of David Brooks of the NYT gets to be a regular on PBS and a guest on NBC. While a pseudo clown by the name of Juan Williams gets a promotion by claiming that he is fearful of sitting in a plane next to a “bearded” person.

Around 1940 Chicago Tribune owner, Robert McCormick, was threatened by a delegation of Jewish department store owners with an advertising boycott if he did not abandon his editorial policy of opposing America’s entry into the war raging in Europe. He replied that his advertising department tracked all newspaper purchases by them in the Chicago market. He told the extortionists that his newspaper delivered a unique set a customers that they valued and that any one of them that cut a single inch of paid advertising would never place another advertisement in the Tribune. The upshot was that everyone of the Jews sitting in his office preferred their own bottom line to their ethnic confreres across the Atlantic.
The point is that the threats are often bluster. The dorr swings both ways. Stand up and they back down. One does not have to be a doormat.

Commerce Official Urges Compliance with U.S. Regulations Opposing Boycott of Israel
Commerce Under Secretary for Industry and Security Kenneth I. Juster today again reminded U.S. companies of the need to comply with laws and regulations prohibiting U.S. persons from taking actions in support of foreign government boycotts against Israel. Juster’s comments were in response to recent statements made by certain members of the Arab League’s Boycott Office to reactivate the ban on trade with Israel.
“The U.S. Government is strongly opposed to restrictive trade practices or boycotts targeted at Israel,” Juster said. “The Commerce Department is closely monitoring efforts that appear to be made to reinvigorate the Arab boycott of Israel and will use all of its resources to vigorously enforce U.S. antiboycott regulations.”
The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) administers U.S. antiboycott regulations, which prohibit U.S. persons from taking actions in support of unsanctioned foreign government boycotts, including the Arab League boycott of Israel. BIS has a long record of aggressive enforcement of the antiboycott regulations, with over $26 million in civil penalties imposed and denials of export privileges where violations have been found.

Good riddance to that slobbering stooge. Why would anyone here praise a Martin Luther King advocate? The “conservative” establishment is just designed to co-opt the righteous indignation that White people feel everyday. Beck and his ilk funnel this rage away from race or any other meaningful outlet. Instead many of our kin with good hearts get sucked into supporting wars for israel, letting in more mexicans, and so forth. Let the conservatve establishment burn in hell!

At the same time it may be that seeing someone like Beck on national television helped validate to a portion of the white masses the anxiety they feel but can hardly admit to feeling given the intellectual hegemony of the “Progress” doctrine.
Beck didn’t really go against the Progress doctrine on an intellectual level, but he did on a gut level.
Perhaps he shook his audience’s faith in Leftism and Progress enough to make them more open at some point in the future to going against the Left even on race.
The Left feared he was having that effect, anyway, that seems clear enough.
I guess the question is whether the Left was right or whether they were being paranoid.
Although it’s general and simplistic, I think part of the solution to Jewish advertising/money power is for whites to build up their own wealth. That is, we should patronize white-owned and staffed businesses and avoid Jewish-owned and staffed businesses whenever possible. Jews rely heavily on money and all the power and connections it brings, so the more that is taken away from them and restored to us, the better. We could then support our own media more through advertising and subscription, like TOO. It is tempting to advocate a website that delineates businesses’ controlling cultures, but that might also provide more obvious targets for Jews and our leftist enemies. At the same time, just discussing a business’ ownership on the internet would raise consciousness, and perhaps change buying habits, even if only Jewish-dominated businesses were discussed.
Jews hammer advertisers and media when their interests are at stake. They organize. Whites don’t do that. Same old story: You snooze you lose.
James Rucker, the executive director of the group, said in a statement, “Fox News Channel clearly understands that Beck’s increasingly erratic behavior is a liability to their ratings and their bottom line, and we are glad to see them take this action.”
Beck currently the third highest rated show on Cable News in spite of being in a highly sub-optimal timeslot.
It’s clear that he helps FoxNews’ ratings, anybody with the slightest common sense can see that.
And as for Beck hurting Fox’s bottom line, it wasn’t “Beck” that hurt the bottom line, it was the groups like Color of Change which leaned on advertisers to boycott Beck’s show.

On balance i’d say his overall effect from our point of view was probably negative but given the numbers of times they get a finger stuck in their eye is usually a big fat zero then Beck represented an infinitely large percentage increase in that figure to the giddy heights of 1.
Beck has been used as but one more player to delimit where an acceptable right can stand. I guess now it’s time to move the center a little more left, so a new clown will take it’s place with views that are just a bit more acceptable, closer to the final objective: marxism.
