On June 25, the Huffington Post “reported” that a Cambridge University academic “responsible for mentoring students” has “come under pressure” to resign his position. Guess which allegations resulted in Martin Sewell, a supervisor in the Faculty of Economics at Cambridge University, coming under intense scrutiny:

If you guessed (f), you are correct! Critics are horrified that Sewell, an accomplished academic and incisive observer of human differences, has bucked the forces of political correctness and some how remains gainfully employed.
Sewell, a 43-year-old native of Reading, has posted summaries of “taxonomies of race,” which include notable (hint: notorious) sources: John R. Baker’s Race, a landmark study published in 1974 by Oxford University Press; Michael Levin’s seminal work Why Race Matters; Herrnstein and Murray’s bestseller The Bell Curve; Arthur Jensen’s The g Factor; Frank Salter’s On Genetic Interests; Richard Lynn’s Race Differences in Intelligence; and Kevin MacDonald’s A People That Shall Dwell Alone.Sewell’s Website postings have driven his adversaries raving mad. Surely a “responsible” mentor of students should know better than to risk one’s academic position by favorably citing such radioactive literature on race and ethnicity. Acknowledging that race is a valid scientific taxonomy and that race differences are natural biological realities will generate accusations of “racist” faster than Heidi Beirich can inhale a tray of donuts. After all, “responsible” mentors know better!

For decades the Left adopted the term “McCarthyism” to describe a dark period of the Cold War era—an alleged age of rampant political repression.
The conventional narrative is that Communists, Socialists, labor union organizers, and various “progressive reformers” were smeared in a ruthless spate of “red-baiting” witch-hunts.
According to legend, Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-WI) recklessly spread baseless charges that ruined careers, disrupted lives, wrecked marriages, and tore families apart.
Major biographies of McCarthy as well as histories of the Cold War repeat a litany of falsehoods and exaggerations: individuals were persecuted, government officials were smeared, Hollywood screenwriters, directors, and actors were blacklisted and eventually ruined, and innocent citizens were targeted as security risks. All were innocent. Critics allege that McCarthy never exposed a single Communist.
In her chapter, “A Good Deal of Trauma”, from Many Are the Crimes: McCarthyism in America, Ellen Schrecker claims that the “anticommunist crusade” of the twentieth century spawned “a lot of human wreckage”:
Fear usually accompanies political repression…. [McCarthyism] changed the lives of thousands of people at the same time that it changed the nation’s political culture…. From Hollywood to Harvard, the anticommunist crusade blighted thousands of lives, careers, and marriages. People’s experiences varied, as did their reactions to them. Some folks flourished; others were destroyed; most managed to survive.
Schrecker doesn’t deny that many of the accused were in fact Communists. Her main thesis is that as Communists, these “activists” were simply victimized for advocating progressive reforms, such as equal rights for minorities and women, repeal of segregation laws, etc.—in other words, these citizens were unjustly targeted for their political beliefs.
In his weekly column for the Metro Times, Jack Lessenberry criticized Rep. Allen West (R-FL) for regarding members of the “Congressional Progressive Caucus” as Communists. Lessenberry repeats the popular rant against McCarthy,
Sixty years ago, McCarthy, a junior senator from Wisconsin, terrorized the nation by claiming the government was full of secret Communist agents. He hauled people up before his committee and interrogated them.
Innocent people’s lives were destroyed. Men and women were ordered to give the committee names of any people they suspected of being Communists. If they refused, they were blacklisted, denied the right to work, hounded by federal agents. Some committed suicide or left the country. This went on for several years. The country was enveloped in a form of hysteria today known as the “Red Scare.”
People were scared into paranoia. Some saw Stalin’s spies everywhere. Ironically, McCarthy never uncovered a single Communist. He probably wouldn’t have known one if he saw one. He was merely a drunken demagogue looking for a cause on which to rise to power and fame. Eventually, the courageous journalist Edward R. Murrow managed to do a TV show exposing his lies.
Soon after that, the Senate sensed the nation finally had enough. They censured McCarthy in 1954, effectively taking his power away. He then swiftly drank himself to death. The country learned a lesson from that: Recklessly labeling people “Communists” was beyond the limits of what was acceptable politically.
In Blacklisted by History: The Untold Story of Senator McCarthy and His Fight Against America’s Enemies, M. Stanton Evans debunks the falsehoods and exaggerated claims about McCarthy, which have been recycled ad nauseam over the years. Evans’s meticulous work, published in 2007, corrects the record and exposes the mythical caricature of McCarthy as a publicity-obsessed rogue politician. (See Evan’s C-Span video.)
Malcolm Kline, executive director of Accuracy in Academia, assisted Evans in retrieving the FBI file on one of McCarthy’s suspects and described the lasting impression of seeing the file being “wheeled out in a shopping cart… that’s a visual that stays with you.”
Needless to say, McCarthy was drawing much-needed attention to the serious matter of Soviet espionage and Communist penetration in the upper echelons of the federal bureaucracy. FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover monitored and issued warnings to lawmakers about the internal security threat posed by fellow Communist travelers and Soviet agents. In some instances, McCarthy was simply pursuing Hoover’s investigative leads.
Ted Morgan, author of Reds: McCarthyism in Twentieth-Century America, defines McCarthyism as “the use of false information in the irrational pursuit of a fictitious enemy.” In the case of Sen. McCarthy, the accusations were fundamentally accurate, the information was credible—consider the voluminous case files of the FBI, and more recently the Venona documents decoded from Russian archives. The threat to America’s national security was real.
Ayn Rand reflected on the so-called “ruined careers” of alleged Communist actors, screenwriters, and directors in her published Q&A sessions, edited by Robert Mayhew:
I do not know of any red blacklisted in Hollywood. I do know, if the newspaper stories can be trusted, that many of those “blacklisted” people, including the Hollywood Ten (who went to jail for a year, for contempt of Congress), were working in Hollywood thereafter under assumed names. They had enough friends in the industry to be able to sell stories under phony names; and today, most of them are back in business. But have you ever inquired into what happened to the friendly witnesses? Before we left for Washington [to testify before the House Committee on Un-American Activities Committee], we were put under every possible pressure, short of physical force, by the heads of the Hollywood studios, who did not want us to testify. Why not, if we were opposing Communists?
Rand notes that some actors and screenwriters, who testified as “friendly” witnesses before HUAC in 1947, never worked again in Hollywood. Communists, such as Dalton Trumbo, the screenwriter of Roman Holiday (1953), Exodus (1960), Spartacus (1960), and Papillon (1973), worked under aliases and became employed under their real names after 1960, as blacklists against Communists had all but ended.
Much attention has focused on the so-called intrusive excesses of “anticommunist crusaders.” However, the activities of the Hollywood Anti-Nazi League for the Defense of American Democracy has received little criticism or scrutiny for the organized “surveillance” of Americans who were sympathetic to Nazi Germany. The Carl Jacobson Collection of Hollywood Anti-Nazi League Records in the archives of the UCLA library’s special collections reveal the extent of “investigations about and surveillance of organizations and individuals suspected by the Hollywood Anti-Nazi League to be supporting Adolf Hitler, Nazi Germany, or the National Socialist party at home or abroad.” How many liberals have complained about the Hollywood Anti-Nazi League unfairly targeting fascist sympathizers? Unlike suspected Communists, which Hollywood elites circled their wagons and protected, fascists and pro-Nazi enthusiasts seen to have been justifiable targets of surveillance by Left-wing organizations.
When radical Leftists and Communists encounter intense scrutiny for their political activities, liberals become enraged and consider such transgressions a national disgrace. The MSM view it as uncivil—a violation of an individual’s rights and persecution of dissident political beliefs. However, when right-wingers are subjected to similar treatment for their views, then it is excused away as little more then a minor inconvenience. The ends seem to justify the means in one instance, but not the other.

Over the past several decades, the political center has drifted leftward to the point that previously accepted conservative beliefs (e.g., anti-egalitarianism, opposition to massive legal non-White immigration) are rendered beyond the pale for civil society. Molten lava by comparison isn’t as hot as any insinuation that biological group-based differences (gender, race or ethnic) influence cultural or societal inequalities, even in the post-Bell Curve era.
Consequently, a new, more virulent strain of “McCarthyism” looms on the political horizon—one that makes the alleged original “McCarthyism” relatively innocuous by comparison. The epoch of Political Correctness has morphed into a renaissance of political repression and blacklisting, similar in many ways to a benign tumor metastasizing into aggressive cancer.
Radical Leftists in Hollywood and the government bureaucracy are no longer subjects of scrutiny. Today’s targets are law-abiding citizens whose only misdeeds are exercising their constitutionally protected liberties: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, and Freedom of Assembly.
Consider the following examples:
- MSNBC fired conservative columnist, New York Times’ bestselling author, and former presidential advisor Pat Buchanan after nearly a decade as a commentator. Why? His eleventh and most recent book warned, in part, that the demographic changes transforming the U.S. are detrimental to the nation’s long-term survival. MSNBC President Phil Griffin explained his decision to fire Buchanan, “the ideas he put forth aren’t really appropriate for national dialogue, much less the dialogue on MSNBC…. I want MSNBC to reflect America in the 21st century, not the America of the 1940s.”
- National Review editor Rich Lowry fired columnist John Derbyshire after posting “The Talk: Nonblack Version” on Takimag.com, a candid reflection of race and personal safety in the form of advice to “nonblack American kids”. The piece was viewed as a balanced corrective to the distorted MSM spin of the Trayvon Martin shooting.
- Three days after firing Derbyshire, Lowry purged political scientist and author Robert Weissberg after discovering that Weissberg was a featured speaker at the 2012 American Renaissance conference, one of several AR conferences that Weissberg participated in over the years. Weissberg’s AR speech argued for “a politically viable alternative to white nationalism.”
- The Chronicle of Higher Education Editor Liz McMillen fired blogger Naomi Schaefer Riley over a 500-word blog post that called for the elimination of “Black Studies” Departments in Higher Education (Riley’s response). The editor claimed that Riley’s “blog posting did not meet The Chronicle’s basic editorial standards for reporting and fairness in opinion articles. As a result, we have asked Ms. Riley to leave the Brainstorm blog.”
- Michael J. Regan, assistant district attorney for Allegany County, New York, lost his job in 2006 after attending an American Renaissance conference. A Washington Post reporter interviewed Mr. Regan and disclosed his identity. Mr. Regan indicated that he became aware of the AR conference from VDARE.com.
- The Archdiocese of New York fired Frank Borzellieri as principal of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School for holding viewpoints “inconsistent” with the Archdiocese of New York. The outspoken author of five books and frequent speaker at AR conferences is a political columnist and educator. Borzellieri taught English at St. Barnabas School in the Bronx from 2006–2009. St. Barnabas Principal Annemarie Zagaglia said of Borzellieri, “You can’t have someone with those beliefs or who writes that kind of stuff working at a Catholic school”.
- The U.S. Navy placed Lt. Cmdr. John Sharpe Jr. on administrative leave in 2007 pending the outcome of an inquiry into allegations that the naval officer published anti-Semitic works and had been involved in “supremacist” activities. In 2008, the $PLC contacted Catholic University to complain about “Building Catholic Communities”, a lecture series Sharpe helped organize. The Dean of Catholic University canceled the series.
- Jared Taylor, the multilingual, Yale educated founder of American Renaissance (often erroneously identified as “White supremacist group”) and author of five books, has worked over the years as an experienced translator. Taylor, who is fluent in French and Japanese, was subjected to an organized smear campaign targeted at prospective employers who rely on translators, including the U.S. State Department. On April 13, 2011, the $PLC’s “Hatewatch” “contacted the State Department and requested comment regarding Jared Taylor’s work as a translator through the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo.” As of that same day, Taylor was no longer listed on the “Language Services” webpage of the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo.
- Conservative Editors Sam Francis, Peter Brimelow, Scott McConnell, John O’Sullivan, and Kevin Lamb lost their editing posts from either internal or external political pressure (or a combination of the two) as a result of violating established taboos. The issues surrounding these firings had nothing to do with job qualifications, performance, work record, or on-the-job grievances from their employers. In at least one instance, outside political pressure forced either a resignation or termination. Racial and cultural taboos, primarily a result of political correctness, were base factors in these firings.
- Scholars such as Kevin MacDonald, J. Philippe Rushton, Arthur Jensen, Hans Eysenck, Chris Brand, Edward O. Wilson, Paul Gottfried, Drew Fraser, Frank Ellis, Raymond Cattell, James Watson, Thilo Sarrazin, E. Michael Jones, Robert Engler, and Linda Ozmun have encountered career-related difficulties over remarks, published scholarship, or politically incorrect activities. In the recent cases of Engler and Ozmun, the former, a sociology professor, was terminated from Roosevelt University for refusing to cooperate during an administrative hearing over Engler’s use of an “ethnically sensitive” joke; Ozmun is suing Lamar University, claiming that her “tenure track was derailed” for refusing to attend a “gay play” in 2010. MacDonald, Rushton, Jensen, Eysenck, Brand, Wilson, Fraser, and Ellis have experienced adverse consequences (investigations, administrative hearings, or censorship) over their work or views. In some cases, outside interest-group pressure from radical organizations contributed to administrative hearings and suspensions. In the case of Jensen, MacDonald, and Rushton, classes were disrupted, a campus bodyguard was hired for security (Jensen), and lectures were videotaped for personal safety (Rushton). In Eysenck and Wilson’s case, they were physically assaulted in public forums.
- Then there are the numerous casualties of the Israel Lobby or simply offending Jews: John Mearsheimer and Steven Walt (accused in the MSM of resurrecting the Protocols of the Elders of Zion), Rick Sanchez, Helen Thomas, and M. J. Rosenberg.
The Radical Left—namely, the SPLC, Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights (IREHR, which is run out of Marxist Lenny Zeskind’s basement in Kansas City), and similar “Watchdog” groups—has learned important lessons from the past and adopted what Jack Cashill terms “ritual defamation.” These are the same tactics that the Left accused Sen. McCarthy of using against Communists. One significant difference between then and now is that the MSM and milquetoast “conservatives” kowtow to these left-wing “watchdog” groups. This provides a veneer of respectability to their work and allows them to carry out a scorched-earth agenda against their opponents—essentially destroying carte blanche anyone on the Right. Accusations of “racism”, “anti-Semitism”, and “bigotry” are tactics such groups indiscriminately use to shutdown rational discussions of legitimate public policy issues, such as effective border security enforcement, restrictions on legal immigration, and ending illegal immigration.
Law-abiding citizens in free and open societies should be able to freely exercise their rights without sanctions, defamation of character, or undue punishment. Career disruption, loss of work, and financial ruin should not be the consequences of citizens exercising their constitutionally protected liberties.
The contrasting outcomes of two libel suits — John Henry Faulk’s from 1962 and William Shockley’s from 1981 — reveal the stark realities for different victims of defamation. Faulk sued for loss of compensation when he was blacklisted from radio stations in the mid-1950s after he was accused of being a Communist. A jury awarded Faulk $3.5 million, at that time the largest libel judgment in history. (An appeals court reduced the award to $500,000.) Shockley sued a reporter from the Atlanta Constitution for $1.25 million in damages after the reporter referred to Shockley as a “Hitlerite.” Shockley won the libel suit, but was awarded $1 in actual damages and no money in punitive damages. According to Wikipedia, “Shockley’s biographer sums this up as saying that the statement was defamatory, but Shockley’s reputation was not worth much by the time the trial reached a verdict.”
When an accused Communist is blacklisted and defamed, it prompts the largest libel judgment in history, when a Nobel Prize-winning scientist is libeled for being called a “Hitlerite,” $1 is awarded in damages.
“Tolerance” unevenly applies across the political spectrum. Merriam-Webster doesn’t define “tolerance” as applying only to Leftists.
Pat Buchanan astutely noted after his firing from MSNBC last February,
The modus operandi of these thought police…is to brand as racists and anti-Semites any writer who dares to venture outside the narrow corral in which they seek to confine debate. All the while prattling about their love of dissent and devotion to the First Amendment, they seek systematically to silence and censor dissent.
Former presidential advisors, accomplished scholars, award-winning authors, and civic-minded citizens deserve to have their views aired in public forums. “Pernicious Tolerance,” as Robert Weissberg has noted, imposes censorship in true Orwellian (double-speak) fashion. The rankest form of Leninist totalitarianism is pressuring managerial elites—publishers, media organizations, and various private and public sector employers—into forced conformity. After years of cultural pressure from the Left, accusations of “racist,” “white supremacist,” “anti-Semite,” or “homophobe,” is the equivalent tone of opprobrium that was once designated for accused Communists. As cultural and societal norms of acceptance drift further leftward, the problem will only intensify.
In other words, this is merely the beginning of Martin Sewell’s problems.

The only way to end this tyranny is to break the taboo en masse. A flock of sheep can be controlled by the sheepdog only by personally attacking each sheep that tries to escape. As long as only one sheep tries to escape at a time, it can be brought to order and its case will serve as an example to intimidate the whole flock. The sheepdog will however lose the battle when a major part of the flock tries to escape at the same time. We must keep in mind that contrary to appearances there is a lot of sympathy among the flock for such rebellious sheep. Only most sheep are too afraid to express their real feelings openly. When a greater group rebels, those hidden sympathisers will join in. The only way to make the rebellion succeed is group coordination. Create a critical mass of dissenters, then “come out” en masse. That’s the only way to bring down the Marxist-Leninist Regime in the US.
@Sanjay: If the married men with children are keeping the mouths shut, and the childless are speaking out without worry, because of financial pressure, perhaps the problem will solve itself eventually. The next generation may feel differently, and speak up, with better numbers on their side. Certainly, now that gays are so beloved and don’t have to marry and have kids to fit in, maybe their genetic code will also significantly be lessened by their lack of kids to carry on their genes.

One cannot sue the government unless the government allows it to happen. There was a lawsuit against the US govt. for segregating public housing after WWII. The government built public housing for whites and seperate ones for blacks.
The US govt. accepted the law suit and settled out of court. I think that careful investigation would show that someone on the inside was working with someone on the outside. So it is true that there were communist working at high levels to take over the government from within. The settlement was that the govt. would take census tracks that were largely white, buy properties and place blacks into these apartments and houses.

The Three laws that are totally unconstitutional and laws that progressed the take over from within are: The Johnson Amendment of 1954; The Civil Rights Act of 1964; and The Immigration and Naturalization act of 1965. These laws gave unprecedented power to the new regime.
I met a woman who was bussed to black schools during the school busing era.. She said that many white children quit school because when they attended the black schools, the white students were harrassed, taunted and beaten up by the black students.
The only way this will change is politically. Go after the Political Parties, the politician, the rogue judges. Sue and demand that Whites have equal representation. Unless it happens politically, it will not happen. Blacks achieved everything they have politically. Of course they achieved it only because of the involvement of the Jews.
The Tea Party is the perfect group because they are white and organized. The only problem with the tea party is the fact that Jews are very much a part of the Tea party and will influence and manipulate the tea party.
The Johnson amendment of 1954 took all politcal power away from churches under the threat of losing tax status. So white churches are politized from the top down. The way this is accomplished is through the interfaith coucil. The unsavy white ministers go to the meeting, are manipulated and influenced and come back to the white churches and influences the congregation.
Jews have worked for 2000 years to perfect their strategies.
They have won. Most whites are too cowardly to admit who the enemy is and until whites do, their is no hope.

A MUST READ: Coming Apart: the State of White America 1960 – 2010 by Charles Murray. It is a must read. I have said repeatedly that the white community is in crisis and no one cares. If the Jews as a group were not included in the whites stats, our stats would be no better than other groups. The downside is that no one advocates for poor whites living in poverty. All money is going to blacks and hispanics. White churches help minorities before they will help their own. The Catholic Church and the Evangelicals are very guilty of ignoring poor whites. This has a lot to do with the influencing of white churches by the Jewish rabbis at the interfaith coucil. Also blacks are out beating the bushes intimidating and demanding support from the business community, the Universities, private schools, the religious community, government.. They have learned well.

I agree. The entire power of Jews stems from the monopolization of paper money by Jews. It’s hard to get figures – for the usual reason – but the percentages paid to the Fed, Bank of England, and other issuers of paper are enormous. They remind me of the Catholic Church in the days when they collected tithes, i.e. 10%. With that money, they have financial power and can buy out rivals and fund industries. During WW1 the entire US economy was under control of (I believe) Sachs. War profiteers must have been largely Jews. Buying the media was of course necessary, and simple enough. They had control over foreign currencies and could easily cause crashes, in the way Soros does now. In my opinion, nuclear issues were and are a hugely lucrative fake run by Jews. So were many other post-WW2 scares and frauds – the World Bank/ Bretton Woods etc which consolidated Jews, and money from bombs etc in Vietnam, NASA, the Holohoax, AIDS, global warming, and the rest. The Lyndon Johnson stuff of damaging blacks, damaging whites, and promoting immigration all follow the same anti-white pattern. 9/11 was an amazingly brazen fraud.
This is the epitome of conservative rhetoric: take some concept that the left has brought to life and try to turn it against them.
My view is that this is something that we ought to shun.
For one thing, McCarthy was not the big, bad, monster that he’s been made out to be. If you use the word McCarthyism the way the left uses it, you are reaffirming that he was some great terror that he was not, in addition to implying that it was bad if he was. You are also supplying a kind of excuse for political correctness. They can say, You did it to us first!

He was focused on infiltration of the Federal Government by people who could be shown to be security-risks, and the effect that this had on policy and security. This was based not on McCarthy’s personal whim but on policy that had been established under Truman. Senator McCarthy started talking about that in 1950. All of the Hollywood investigations that the leftist propaganda blurs together and puts under the heading McCarthyism was from the late 1940s and done by the House, not the Senate: McCarthy had nothing to do with most of what is called McCarthyism. The cacophony of voices, both left and right, is enough to make any sane man or woman reel with the sheer oppressive impact of its import; the sides have been drawn long ago, and for many years now, the ‘new McCarthyism’ has taken its toll.
The roll-call is simply too long to list here, of those men and women of the West who have paid with their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor in the pursuit of maintaining those traditions and mores which had served their antecedents well, and had brought them, womb-like, into a new and innocent experiment – our American experiment, however much this has been compromised – and yet these individuals did not leave the field, but stayed and did the best they could for their people and their future.
Moreover, no justification can be made, relative to the above, that the sacrifices of our own ‘patriot class’ is in any way lesser, than that of the ‘hollywood ten’, or any of the thousands of others who were, and are, committed to a ‘change in american policy’ and are intent on ‘radicalizing’ and ‘subverting’ those traditions and mores which have served this nation well, albeit in direct odds with persons which make up our opposition; the difference, for me, is that while pressure certainly was brought to bear upon ‘communists’ and their ‘sympathizers’, the duration of these attacks were mitigated by the fact that they had a ‘infrastructure’ of compatriots and supporters who would, without fear or favor (the FBI scarred many in the country – but our opposition was/were true believers and worked hard in defense of their efforts) keep the money, moral support, and employment available to them. Just in the last forty years, the number of blue-collar, intellectuals, and political minds who have succumbed to this [not new] wave of attacks is simply overwhelming. One of the main reasons why this has occurred is simply the opposite of why our opposition have been so successful – but the most important of these ‘deficiencies’ would be, in my mind, the most basic lack of ‘public courage’ by many of our spokesmen and institutions, in not fully supporting those whose struggles are in the same vein, or even if distant in terms of tactics or strategy – in not defending the core ‘beliefs and directions’ is, as we all can see, the primary cause of our loss of prestige, our inability to convince majority support, and even lessens our chances of receiving those fiduciary contributions which are so needed to hire Attorneys (there are plenty of good, young, up-and-coming attorneys) which, in turn, allow us to take this battle from the streets to the courts, and back again. The totality of this white nationalist movement seems to be beyond the pale of many a traditionalist thinker, but those concepts of yesteryear which have proved unable to overcome the logical, if not brilliant tactics, of our opposition are now forced to accept a new strategy – or retire from the field, and quickly, if we are to prepare and hold a future for White children.
This struggle, for us, is just beginning in earnest, let keep abreast of circumstances, but not be held captive by them.

She did not ask me to leave and paid me a few bucks extra when I finished the work I was doing for her. She told me the extra was for the information I had provided.
I run an ad for extra work on Craigslist that highlights that I am white and I have to turn down most of the people who call. My ads do get flagged and taken down but it is still working.

I do believe the awakening is upon us. The pattern has repeated itself historically more than 80 times. However, it is a bit different this time, since they have tried to cover all the bases in their “never again” program. They will try to curb free speech, control the internet, pass more hate/thought crime legislation, etc., but in the end it will do them no good. They will have to reap what they have sown, once again. If I were in their position, I would QUICKLY back off forcing non-white immigration, and i would also back off pushing for war on Iran. Excellent article, Dr. MacDonald. As to the McCarthy era, The Haunted Wood is worth a read to anyone who has an interest in the part of American history that the media goes out of it’s way to ignore. The authors, Allen Weinstein and Alexander Vassiliev, are fairly even-handed in their presentation of Soviet espionage in post war America. They even state in their introduction that anyone with a political score to settle will be disappointed in their book, and they aren’t lying.
The book tends to portray communist American traitors and their Soviet handlers, to a large degree, as bunglers and blunderers who never accomplished much in terms of fact gathering. In truth, there was nothing benign about their traitorous intentions, as their inroads into US atomic weapons research would demonstrate. Their ranks would make up the lists of Venona. Vassiliev was an agent with the KGB (and it’s predecessor), and helped Weinstein gain access to old Soviet archives during the 1990’s.
Only rarely dies Weinstein make reference to the largely jewish make-up of the pool of American spies. The only instance that comes to mind was when he mentioned that one of the operatives requested the Soviets try to recruit someone other than a jew for a particular assignment, for a change. He also rarely, if ever, mentions McCarthy. The book does show, however – and to a non-conservative audience – that the communist threat to America was not the imagined right-wing conspiracy theory that Jack Lessenberry and Ted Morgan want the world to believe it is.
Senator and N.Y. state Supreme Court judge Samuel Dickstein, who helped start the HUAC in the ‘30‘s, was paid by the Soviets to divert the committee’s attention away from communists during WW2 and towards Nazi sympathizers. If you research Dickstein on internet sites that list prominent American jews, you won’t find this fact mentioned. Only how he helped uncover alleged Nazi groups in the New York area before the war.
McCarthy, we have to admit, had some troubling personality traits. He had a tendency to stretch the truth at times ( as with his war record, which, surprisingly, didn’t need stretching.) And Eisenhower didn’t like the way he did things. Had he been able to get the president behind him, his history might not have been commandeered by leftists who were out to create a new genre of villain in America. When all is said in done, however, McCarthy was telling the truth in almost all cases pertaining to Soviet spying in the US…
…but America doesn’t know it because nobody’s shown a made-for-tv-movie about it yet.

I believe this statement is true but more indicative of the branch rather than the root. The root of man’s perfectibility is found in the religions of Secular Humanism(Mother) and Marxism(Daughter) which are both constructed upon the dogma of Atheism and Dialectical Materialism. But extending the lens even further one sees the true definition arising from their stance as counterpoint to Christianity. As Lenin stated “We must combat religion, that is the ABC of Marxism.”
So under this lens there is no God and thus the only thing too believe is what one sees. And therefore, man becomes the center of his own materialistic worldview. And of course, in this context, man is an optimist on his way to utopia.

Not to over-egg, Jews by 1945 dominated the USA and notably nuclear science. Jews also dominated USSR science (and British – Churchill’s science advisors were Jewish). Global warming is real. The cause is something else. To suggest as some “scientists” do that human activity plays no role is absurd. If all internal combustion engines produced no emissions that affected the environment, it would not reduce the heat generated by the engine, the heat generated by the tires when driving, or the heat created by headlights. Heating our houses contributes, as does cooling. This doesn’t even touch on the heat from electric light bulbs, electronic devices, or motors. The list goes on.
That is not to say that the earth does not go through its own warming and cooling cycles, but our activity has contributed.

recurring in my brain for some time.
