
Now comes a truly sardonic confirmation that I am right. A good part of my teaching involves showing the changing images of a high-level American vocation that has not changed much racially over the last century: that of the pilot. Few careers have for so long captivated the imaginations of American boys and men. See Joseph Corn’s wonderful book The Winged Gospel: America’s Romance with Aviation or read anything about flying by the peerless Ernest Gann to capture this romance. Gann’s 1953 novel The High and the Mighty became a film featuring that stalwart American actor, John Wayne.

Or consider the original 1970 Airport. From pilots to navigators to air traffic controllers, it was a White man’s world and they performed heroically (and sometimes romantically).
To introduce a female or Black pilot, however, goes against reality. Over recent decades, the percentage of White male pilots flying commercial airliners in America has remained steady at about 96%. Women, almost exclusively White, comprise roughly 3%, while Blacks remain less than one percent. In this day and age of anti-White government affirmative action programs, it would be a tough job proving that White discrimination is responsible for the low representation of Black pilots.
Sure, the 1995 TV film The Tuskegee Airmen, directed by Robert Markowitz and starring Laurence Fishburne and Cuba Gooding Jr., highlights Black pilots, but the attention that that minor military experiment now receives more or less proves the point about the paucity of Black pilots. (Incidentally, Gooding “fought with Robert Markowitz, who directed ‘Tuskegee Airmen.’ He was a Jewish man telling a black story.” Gooding’s feeling was that “even though the movie turned out OK, I was like, ‘Yes, I get it. Racism. But what about the heroism?’” The same article also discusses non-Jew George Lucas’s personal $50 million funding of a film about these same pilots, Red Tails.)
What I show students is how common it is for a film to begin traditionally with White male pilots, but then they will somehow die or otherwise lose control, only to be replaced by a woman. This is true of the 1997 film Turbulence, in which Lauren Holly takes control of a jumbo jet after the pilots are killed. (Ray Liotta does a great job as a psycho killer.)
Until recently, though, Hollywood has been reluctant to feature a Black hero pilot of a commercial airline, though it is difficult to say why. Here and there we see Blacks as co-pilots or flight engineers, as in the 1997 blockbuster Air Force One, starring half-Jewish actor Harrison Ford as President (and reluctant pilot). There the flight engineer of Air Force One is Black.
(Incidentally, to its credit, Cineflix has accurately reproduced the attempted suicide hijacking of a FedEx DC-10 in which three White pilots were attacked inflight by fellow Black pilot Auburn Calloway. In his attack, Calloway used a spear gun and hammer, thinking the blunt-trauma injuries would mimic those incurred in a crash. See here for the reenactment. I don’t think this is what most filmmakers have in mind when they consider portraying a Black pilot, though.)
Now, however, Hollywood has taken the plunge and will feature none other than Denzel Washington as an ace pilot of a commercial airline. To date, Paramount has only released the trailer, which is well worth watching here. Washington stars in Flight as Captain William Whitaker, who is at the controls of what appears to be a twin-engine DC-9 or later variant MD-80. Something goes wrong, the plane crashes, but all survive. Next we see Whitaker in the hospital, where a visitor tells him, “Looked like you pulled some kind of move up there, man. Saved a lotta lives. The way you landed that plane was nothing short of a miracle.”
The “miracle,” of course, is nothing less than the “Miracle On The Hudson“ in which two White pilots safely landed a powerless Airbus A320 in the Hudson River. The pilot in command was 57-year-old “Sully” Sullenberger, a former fighter pilot, and Jeffrey B. Skiles was first officer. For Hollywood, though, this will not do.
Viewing the trailer of Flight, it does not appear that Whitaker will be a perfect Numinous Negro. True, his lawyer (Don Cheadle), tells him, “The FAA placed ten pilots in simulators, recreated the events. Every pilot killed everyone on board. You were the only one who could do it.” And even Whitaker claims, “No one coulda landed that plane like I did.” Yet the trailer tells us more: Whitaker may have been drunk. It seems that a court appearance and possible jail sentence loom ahead for Whitaker.
I hate to predict how the film will end. I suspect that screenwriter John Gatins and director Robert Zemeckis have found ways to absolve Whitaker. There may even be some implicit or explicit scenes featuring (alleged) White racism. Intriguingly, there is a very brief image in the trailer of a White woman in a bikini walking near Whitaker’s prone body. Does this suggest Washington’s character will risk a scene of interracial romance? To date, his characters have been very circumspect about dealing with this, at least when it comes to White women. And online teasers leave it vague. For instance, Empire Online reports that White actress Kelly Reilly plays Nicole Devlin, “a young woman battling drug addiction, who meets an airline pilot named Whip (Washington). He’s being hailed as a hero for saving 106 people by safely landing a damaged plane. But his actions are clouded by an investigation into whether he was drinking at the time. As the pair tries to confront their demons, they become friends.” Ambiguous, as I say.
When you view this trend as a whole, it becomes clear what is being done: Hollywood is scripting the dispossession of White men (and, in time, of course, White women). First come the images, which the masses internalize. Then when the actual dispossession procedes, far too few Whites are alarmed by it. After all, everything is going according to script as far as they are concerned.
Counter-Currents editor Greg Johnson, in an essay from his book Confessions of a Reluctant Hater gets it just right:
The people who create these movies — the directors, the writers, the producers, the casting directors — are not artists. They are abortionists. They are aborting the whole future of the white race. And they are not doing it by accident. We know this, because so many of them are Jews . . . (p. 111)
So, readers, mark your calendars for the November debut of this latest Denzel Washington flick. If it follows the pattern of positive roles for Denzel Washington characters, my argument about the scripted replacement of real White men will be bolstered. At the same time, however, I’ll have to endure knowing that the campaign against the White race continues unabated. As I say, it’s a conflicted position to be in.

It’s not just commercial airlines.
Sci Fi-ish action flick Stealth casts 3 actors, white male, female and black male actors, who play roles of the best pilots in the air force hunting an experimental aircraft controlled by artificial intelligence that went rogue. Two out 3 of those characters are of course are as much contextually or historically inconsistent with reality as a colored actor playing in (recent) movies set in medieval Europe.
I was flipping around the stations the other day when I came across some movie where a woman was discussing music with her son. The dialogue went something like this:
“Blacks make the most soulful music, because they’ve suffered the most. Then come the Jews.”
This is the crux of the issue: Blacks are more “soulful” than Whites because they are the “sufferers,” “the oppressed.” It’s no different from Christianity, which states that only the weak and wretched are good, and that the strong and beautiful (Whites) are evil.
We have to remember that it’s not only Jews who make these films, but White leftists. They actually believe this crap: those who suffer (non-Whites) are righteous, and of course, Whites have never really suffered (needless to say, leftists don’t know history).
It was just a funny bit of dialogue. No one with any aesthetic sensibility, any knowledge of art or culture, can claim that Blacks or jews make the best ANYTHING. They make sh*t for the inferior masses who have no taste, no sense of beauty or delicacy. Hence rap, jazz, R&B, etc.
Hollywood is going to continue on this course until it runs out of money. Beautiful classical music is always going to be associated with villains (Blofeld, Hannibal Lecter, etc.) while the cool hip “good guys” are going to be associated with anything modern and degenerate.
Same thing with characters like the protagonist in Flight. Non-white good guy are righteous specifically because they are not White, while non-White bad guys are bad because they’re either in service to a White villain (like EVERY action movie since the 80s) or have “become” White in a way.
Meanwhile, White good guys are good because they help the non-White characters battle the evil White guys, while White bad guys are bad because they are simply White, and out to get everyone.
Those are the rules Hollywood plays by when it comes to depicting good and evil on screen. Unfortunately much of Western Europe is the same. The English, French, and German directors are especially negrophilic.
There was an awful English movie called Attack the Block about black gangbanger immigrants in London who fight off an alien invasion. I could only stomach a few minutes of it until I went on to IMDB to see who the director was: a White English guy, and get this: his inspiration for making the hero a black mugger came from that very director being mugged by a black guy in real life!
Just f**king unimaginable– the “good and moral” Englishman is mugged by a feral black, and in turn he makes the feral black into a hero on-screen…probably because he’s simply “misunderstood.” This kind if insanity is something that only Whites suffer from.
The whole thing is just FUBAR. Whites really are a sick people if we continue to stomach this kind of crap.
In stressful technical situations, blacks tend to chimp out, and become totally unglued. Even a black guy you might really like, will be little or no help in a really stressful situation involving instrumentation, electronics/avionics etc. Forget it.
By the same token there are lots of White “Darwin Award” winners out there…LOL. Some of whom are very lucky.

But the bottom line is that when people are prevented from following their instincts, and their very emotions are suppressd so that they have to be carefull not only of what they do, but what they FEEL, the nervous system is stressed and the steam builds over time to the boiling point. The steam must be let off some way.

When a husband gets mad at his wife he may run his fist through a door and thus let off steam. The DOOR can serve as a substitute evil when fear and or conscience prevents him from acting on his natural instincts. ( He is usually mad for a reason, like maybe he has been REPLACED)

@fender: Very insightful. Yes, those do seem to be Hollywood’s rules. And, as you say, too many White liberals are among the mix, too.
Take British director Alan Parker, for example. His two films “Mississippi Burning” and “Come See the Paradise” are loathsome anti-White films. Yes, they have the “Whites to the rescue” characters to help the non-whites, but the stories revolve around endemic White racism. “Snow Falling on Cedars” is another example. But as I read recently, what White liberals don’t realize is that when they’re gone — which is part of their utopian dream of a world cleansed of Whites — there will be no non-White liberals to replace them. In that sense, of course, the universe will be a better place.

Great job by Edmund Connelly. First of all, yes these types of reviews are needed. There’s just too many Whites internalizing this garbage (Hollywood and Madison Ave. products,) and thinking it contains some kind of truth. I especially agree with the statement that these various movie producers “are not artists, but abortionists trying to kill the White race.” It really is true. It’s just so perverse calling these Hollywood butchers “artists.” … Another part of the anti-White drive is the pairing up of pretty blonde haired women with black males. Has any on else noticed how often commercials show this? Seems like it’s pretty often to me. Another tactic is to simply have a mixed group of people interacting with the White man conspicously absent. Especially when a celebratory event is being shown implying that “nobody misses the White man at all.” So it’s the blacks and blondes, the absent White man, or the openly ridiculed White man. When I think about black pilots, I always remember the 2002 plane crash that killed Sen. Paul Wellstone of Minnesota. The black copilot of the plane, Michael Guess, did nothing to prevent the crash. Here are some lowlights from the NTSB report on the crash:
“several pilots who had flown with Guess at Aviation Charter expressed concerns about Guess’ flying skills, especially his ability to land the airplane without assistance.”
“Guess had trouble with memory items, weight and balance. A company pilot said Guess tended to be ‘fixated’ during his approaches and that ‘airspeed and torque would . . . get too low…’
Guess was described as a “nonassertive individual,” unable or unwilling to take over the controls when the main pilot made an error.
“Guess had a habit of keeping both hands on the flight controls during a landing approach and had to be reminded to keep one hand on the throttles, to control airspeed.”
A manager at Northwest Airlines is quoted as saying, “Guess had trouble grasping airplane system knowledge.”
These are not the earmarks of someone who should be flying a plane, let alone flying a U.S. senator around.

I’d like to see someone on TOO review the 1988 movie They Live. It’s about a guy who realizes that the world’s media, governments and financial institutions are run by space aliens disguised as humans. It was meant as a parody of Reaganomics but it’s actually a perfect allegory for the tribe.
There are various issues going on RE Hollywood.
For one, conservative type families don’t encourage their kids in the arts. It’s understandable I guess but this means only ‘trendy’ types get through the process… and that process is extremely gay.
Two- In the last ~10 years, Blockbuster style films make their profit on the international market + DVD sales. If anything, White heroes are over-represented, thanks to residual cultural imperialism and historical respect towards the white race. Also, non-whites are far more ego orientated when watching films and ‘need’ to see themselves on screen.
Three- White actors are being replaced by Jews. I don’t care what genetic studies say but there’s enough Jew actors around now that pass for white quite easily.
Four- Film is a free market enterprise. You could burn Hollywood down and the exact same films will be made somewhere else. Until knowledge of the ‘Hostile elite’ becomes widespread, can’t expect anything to change… expect it to get much worse in the meantime.

‘Film is a free market enterprise’. The words of someone rather naive. The entire cinema system is in a few hands. The entire TV industry is in a few hands. The entire DVD industry is in a few hands. The entire advertising/ PR/ promotional business is in a few hands. There is nothing to stop any group – particularly one that controls money – subsidizing film studios, subsidizing actors, blacklisting actors, etc. Any number of profit making films could be made that aren’t.
I have been voting with my dollars for years now. While Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington are reasonably good actors, I’m tired of seeing them in the role of every hero and I will no longer pay even a dime to see any of their flicks.
I was a career naval aviator and served a tour in Pensacola, FL as a flight instructor in the T-28 from 1964-68. There were no black naval aviatiors at the time, but the Navy was trying to introduce a few. They proved very difficult to train and were not held to the same standard as white students. We instructors were given to know (subtley) that they were not to be flunked out of the program but were given repeat chances no flight instructor would dream of giving a white trainee. I never served with any of them later out in the fleet and don’t know how they performed, but night carrier landings are not for the slow witted.
Multiculturalism is Anti-FAMILY when you take it apart and study it. It is the antithesis of race and family. So its not surprising that the birth of multi-culti coincided with the death of marriage.

Thanks for the link to that 2000 executive Order, Achaean. I don’t remember ever hearing of that one, but have long expected that Madison Avenue advertising firms, following some directive like this, have been operating on a point system of rewards if their ads, whether electronic or print, include Negroes and other non-White models/actors. The more their ads depart from traditionally all-White visuals, the more points they earn. Race-mixing ads, preferably featuring attractive, flirting blonde females being pawed by buff Negro males win the most points — for, products aside, that’s what the Jews are really selling the consumer. The prolific number of mulatto or quadroon models appearing in ads these days sells the idea to suggestible consumers that race-mixing is the acceptable norm. I ceased going to movies long ago, but last night on TV, with my wife, we saw a film, “The Thing,” directed by Dutch filmmaker Matthijs van Heijningen Jr., which is a remake of John Carpenter’s 1982 film of the same name, http://thulestation.com/about/production-notes/
When my wife first asked me if I wanted to see it, I responded with a half smile, “so long as there are no black actors;” well, soon enough one came up as a helicopter pilot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. We have a system of corporate cartels, near monopolization of most industries. The media in the USA is a case in point. I have read that 5 corporations control 90% of the media in the USA. In that situation it is easy to make agreements with other media providers such as providing something that the majority of the audience despises. If the audience is addicted to movies and TV, it will continue to watch even appalling propaganda that is distasteful. There is no real choice. The audience will be subjected to harmful propaganda until it boycotts.
P.S. What is the percentage of the population of the USA that is not black? Do the majority of the members of the other (non-black) minorities and the majority of whites PREFER the over-representation of blacks in movies? Do they mostly PREFER the deification of blacks? I doubt it. Mexicans call blacks “mayates” or, in English, dung beetles. Other minority groups have no more preference for blacks than whites have.
The point is, blacks are pushed on everyone in opposition to market forces (consumer preferences).

Honestly, I go back and fourth on the question of free markets (whether a true free market can exist in a society of 350 million people.)
I tend to think that the larger the group, the more controls will be placed on the economy, for better or worse, by the people themselves if the society is “democratic” In this sense, democracy being government of the lowest common denominator, even the most intelligent electorate will vote themselves down the toilet eventually. I recall watching a movie on TV a couple of years back about the Vietnam war and American GIs.
The GIs ended up taking captive, a young woman whom they proceeded to drag along with them, engaging in inhumane treatment of the woman along the way. In the end, the woman was so brutalized and traumatized that she threw herself off the cliff of a narrow mountain path when the opportunity presented itself.
It was a harrowing movie apparently based on fact, but I cannot remember the name of it.
Later on, I read on the net that the GIs involved in the actual event were black yet the movie protrayed them as White.
Then there is the destructive cultural and moral result of having Hollywood commanded by people who hate traditional Christian European ethnic values and aggressively promote casual sex and hedonism:
