It was the North African peasantry who welcomed the Muslim invaders. I’m not certain why peasantry believed Arianism over orthodoxy, but a minor thesis in the same work was that those stubborn enough to cling to Arianism slipped down the economic ladder.

Reginald: The Vandal conquerors of North Africa brought Arianism with them and imposed it upon the native populations (both North African tribespeople and people of Phoenician, Greek, and Roman stock). I think it is noteworthy that less than 50 years after Justinian, the Exarchate of Africa was prosperous. In fact, it was prosperous enough for Heraclius the Elder to lead a revolt that overthrew the seat of power in Constantinople. The Heraclean dynasty was orthodox and more interested in coming to an understanding with the Monophysites (who were as far from the Arians as one theologically could be).
So given Byzantine Africa’s wealth and supply of soldiers, I think it’s safe to assume that it was fairly Orthodox.
While it’s tempting to ask, “Then why did it fall to the Muslims.” I would point out that it held out much more vigorously than either Egypt or Syria did–and it was also the focal point of Byzantine attempts at reconquest (so long as that was feasible). I also suspect that, following the Muslim MO, it was for this reason that the North Africans were forced to convert (much like the Albanians were forced to convert centuries later after they held out under Skanderbeg). By the time of Emperor John Tzimisces, it made much more sense to reconquer Syria, where a significant Christian population remained (the Byzantines didn’t like to have non-Christian citizens).

The reigns of Nikephoros Phokas (called by contemporaries, “the pale death of the Saracens”) and John Tzimisces are a joy to read about for anyone interested in Byzantine history. What’s happened is that the English Middle Class used to try to imitate Aristocratic modes of speech, but that went out of fashion so now in the absence of influence from the upper class they have all their influence coming from the lower classes.
It’s a question of fashion as opposed to a question of the cockneys outbreeding everyone else in England.
Another factor other than fashion is that of literacy.
The sophisticated accent used by English Aristocrats of old, and by the middle to upper class English from the late Victorian era to perhaps the 1960′s, is deeply dependant on literacy.
You just can’t talk in that precise a fashion, even if your parents had that kind of accent, if you’re getting most of your exposure to language from television.
You have to be getting a lot of language exposure from books, and especially books written at a relatively high level of difficulty, in order to do that.
So really the decline of the English school system as a vehicle for the perpetuation of high level literacy, along with the rise of television, probably played a central role in the “proleization” of the English accent.

The point is simple: the Jews are not of European descent.
They are uninvited intruders into Europe from the Middle East.

Going off the last elections, despite Labour nailing the final nails in the coffin for nigh on 12 years solid, people out there are STILL voting for Labour in their droves – and the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives, or the Green Party who are “water melons” (Green on the outside, red on the inside).
It really does defy all common sense if you are ‘awake’ to this call of “treason”.
I often make the mistake of broaching this subject and using the correct terminology of traitors, ethnic cleansing, race replacement. It shocks people, they think the whole notion of such a thing is “ridiculous”. Ie. “We are all immigrants, right?”
However, as Paul Weston proposes and shows in his article, it is not far fetched. It is reality. The demographic explosion has gone off and people are yet to wake up to the full nuclear fall out or the implications it will have for societies and the nation as a whole.
Paul Weston is a good writer, he knows what the situation is (like many others). The only downside to Paul Weston (and Gates of Vienna) is that it tends to emphasise on the Muslim aspect of the threat we face because it suits their narrative. The birthrates are not all down to Pakistani’s and other Muslims……we have Vietnamese, Chinese, people from Malaysia, Congo, Nigeria, Turks, Afghani, India, Indonesia, Romania – you name it, we have it here now.
That said, it is a good article and we need pieces like this to show others what is going on and that we are not alone in using our terms of Traitors, Race Replacement, Ethnocide.
Last year, I made two lengthy documentaries about Britain. I know that attention spans are low and the long lengths are off putting for many viewers, but viewed together I hope it may put people in picture regarding the kind of debate and issues at play in my nation over the last four or five years.
The first one is called “Lost Voices Of Britain” – which aims to compile all the TV clips I have of how {some} indigenous people feel about immigration and this country (from decades ago to present day).
The second one is “Tales from Transforming Britain” – that tries to compile a lot of issues that have come to press upon Britain as a result of immigration (from all over the world).
I have not even covered Islam yet in a documentary! That is another aspect I should get around to compiling.
Sorry for the shameless plugs, but they have been sat there on youtube with a very sorrowful viewer count. I thought I should more actively promote their existence.
I turn off comments on my youtube account so that I do not have to field abuse and get involved wasting my time in idiotic spats…..but ideally I need to get a bit of feedback from nationalists because I have been thinking that I should perhaps distribute them on DVD to friends, relatives, or at political party meetings for them to do likewise.
