Thoughtcrime can lead to thought experiments. All it takes is a willingness to go where the less foolhardy are loath to go. What is race? What is an atrocity? When is a racist atrocity neither racist nor an atrocity? The answers may not be as cut-and-dried as you may think.
In what seems like eons ago, what with the Biden Administration’s incitement of the late Ukrainian unpleasantness, Whoopi Goldberg denied racism had anything to do with the Holocaust. She uttered this blasphemy on the Jan. 31, 2022, showing of The View. Cavalierly dismissing so monumental an atrocity with the “man’s inhumanity to man” platitude fell woefully short of doing it justice. To make matters worse, she claimed both Jewish victims and Nazi victimizers were White.
Sorry, Whoopi. When it comes to the Holocaust, we’re talking unparalleled evil. Nothing in history can hold a candle to it. With racism the deadliest of the Eight Deadly Sins, the Holocaust can’t help but have oozed it.
Every schoolboy knows the Jews are a tribe. Every schoolboy knows the Germans are a tribe. The Nazis, a subset of the German tribe, subjected the Jewish tribe to mass murder via gas chambers. Every schoolboy knows that, too. Inasmuch as “tribe” is just another word for race, the Nazis were racist against the Jews. Sure, the Nazis treated fellow Germans and other Europeans shabbily, too. They just weren’t racist about it.
Decent human beings do not conflate complexion and race. One tribe can in fact perpetrate a racist atrocity against another tribe even if the two tribes share the same skin color. Conversely, one tribe cannot fall victim to a racist atrocity, no matter the skin color of the other tribe. Ben Philippe, a Black English instructor at Barnard College, has brought this peculiar phenomenon to the fore. In a segment of his book entitled Sure, I’ll be your Black Friend, he matter-of-factly describes a scene in which he gasses White people:
“When this race war hits its crescendo, I’ll gather you all into a beautifully decorated room under the pretense of unity. I’ll give a speech to civility and all the good times we share; I’ll smile as we raise glasses to your good, White health, while the detonator blinks under the table, knowing the exits are locked and the air vents filled with gas.”
Philippe discusses his fantasized comeuppance in an interview with Canadian radio host Talia Schlanger. The impossibly telegenic Dutch political analyst Eva Vlaardingerbroek provides audio link to the interview and commentary on the exchange.

In the link, you can hear Ms. Schlanger taken aback by the passage and asking him about it. He does not falter in his explanation:
“I guess I was wrestling with the question that, isn’t the result of that, all-out warfare, like, Game of Thrones-style warfare? And what does that look like? And I live in that sort of stray thought for a few pages. And it was disturbing to write, too. Because I’m not a violent person.” Giggling, he hastens to add, “I love all my White friends.”
That’s how we know he’s not a violent person. He has a sense of humor and only wants to gas White people who are strangers.
Ms. Schlanger informs Mr. Philippe her grandparents were Holocaust survivors. “I can’t tell you how it felt to read that sentiment. And I wanted to say to you that I’m sorry that your experience of the world made you feel that way.”
She’s sorry he feels that way? Would Ms. Schlanger feel sorry for a present-day Nazi who fantasized about gassing Jews? Did the historical Nazis have an “experience of the world” that made them “feel that way” about gassing Jews? The exchange leaves Ms. Vlaardingerbroek dumbfounded. She seems to think the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors would push back against a Black man who dreams of perpetrating such an act against White people. Maybe even push back hard.
As if Jews are Whites. Ms. Vlaardingerbroek, please report to your local Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE) re-education camp. Take two weeks off. Reflect on the hurt you have caused.
Meanwhile, her insensitivity toward the Jewish people notwithstanding, it occurs to our Dutch correspondent that visceral hatred of Whites has entered the mainstream. “Where are we headed?” she asks. Nowhere good, Ms. Vlaardingerbroek. At least not until our people embrace the same racial consciousness and solidarity long nurtured and taken for granted by our presumed betters.
Let us not apologize for it. Self-preservation is the first instinct of the species.

Regarding your question about why “so many otherwise decent and reasoning human beings” have succumbed to vaccine mandates, it’s not actually a big mystery at all. As long as 100 years ago, big thinkers (including Adolf Hitler) wrote and spoke about how all you need to do to control the masses is to control the messages they are receiving. As I understand it, it’s one of the reasons AH didn’t think democracy could work – and it’s also why propagandists like Edward Bernays were so keen on promoting the democratic system.
Now that you have lived through all the lying about covid, and have some free time on your hands, you might want to take another look at the post-WWII narrative we were all force-fed growing up in the West. If you’d told a younger version of myself that I would one day be a “Holocaust denier,” I would not have believed you. Having “done my own research” on that era (as so many of us have had to do with regards the jab) I now wonder how I was ever fooled into believing the Germans, of all people, would do what they are accused of doing to the Jews.

Some of the same people who invoke “my body, my choice” when it comes to abortion somehow manage to support mandates when it comes to vaccines.
Since abortion arguably involves the destruction of a non-consenting party, namely, the fetus, I should think applying the “my body, my choice” principle to abortion *a fortiori* means it applies to vaccines. Abortion eliminates the fetus. What threat does an unvaxxed person pose to an vaxxed person if the vaxx works?
I agree with you on the Holocaust. In my view, the orthodox account qualifies as hate speech directed at Germans and all Europeans, really. Instead, we have European governments treating revisionist accounts as hate speech against Jews. Europeans aren’t permitted to defend themselves against this blood libel.

I’m really not qualified to explain what’s going on, but since I’ve spent so much time thinking about it, I’ll offer my thoughts for what it’s worth.
Firstly, back to the “marketing/propaganda” factor: It’s too easy to underestimate how powerful marketing and propaganda can actually be – especially if you’re half-way intelligent! We’ve all met salespeople (car salesmen and real estate agents come to mind) who are not the sharpest tools in the shed, yet they manage to make money hand-over-fist out of the rest of us. Why? Because they have a good handle on human psychology… and they aren’t above using that handle to crank some bucks out of our pockets and into theirs.
Secondly, “educated” people are not necessarily intelligent. Our academic institutions have been under assault for at least decades, and the result is that our intelligentsia has been terribly corrupted. Stupid “educated” people who think they are smart are a dangerous lot.
Thirdly, on a certain level, even someone who is normally intelligent enough to follow the arguments you are making still has an “instinctive” sense of where the real power lies. I think many people are simply terrified of acknowledging that all the institutions they have put their faith in for their entire lives are actually trying to kill them. It’s too big to deal with, so they just ape the three little monkeys: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.
Finally, the best explanation I’ve heard for why people are buying the vaccine narrative is one I heard from a young woman on some social media platform: the reaction to covid has nothing to do with intelligence or education, and everything to do with Level of Consciousness.
One last thought: “My Body, My Choice” was always a slogan, not a logical construct. What it really translates into is “I’ll take all the power associated with being a Woman, but none of the responsibilities.”

This millionth (billionth?) example of raging hatred in the heart of blacks as a ¨people¨ for whites should, I say…SHOULD! profoundly wake whites from their seeming drugged lethargy. It should do so even if the counterfactual that whites have done some harm or injustice to this race. But just the opposite is true, whites have done incalculable good to this massively ungrateful people not the least of which is bearing their past and present and increasingly fierce, both vocal and physical, enmity. I have always believed that the greatest crime, the greatest sin a human can commit is to repay good with evil. This logically applies to a group, tribe, or race of people. Agree wholeheartedly. It seems that the relationship between whites and blacks, especially in the US, is a toxically dysfunctional one. The more whites give and do for blacks, the angrier and more demanding blacks get. And liberal whites are like enabling parents who instead of teaching their children to be responsible for their actions and cultivating a sense of gratitude, they overempathize with them, encourage them to be self-pitying, and encourage them to blame others for their misdeeds and inability to succeed. Have you noticed that the further away in time we move from the Atlantic slave trade, the more current blacks act like THEY are slaves and that whites in the present are slave-masters? Their incessant whining is testament to the fact that they are being utterly coddled. The reality is that things have never been better for blacks in the Western world and that their attitudes reflect their sense of entitlement and the privileged position they now occupy. That’s how it works in the media, in the courts and in mainstream politics: White people cannot be recognized as victims of other races, and Jews cannot be recognized as persecutors of other races. Until recently, that was not an official rule. For example, the law doesn’t say that White people have an inferior status. The courts have to resort to selective enforcement of the laws to achieve that result. Likewise, politicians who advocate for non-White interests and ignore White people’s interests would rather not say that they follow a hidden deliberately anti-White rule.
Many White leftists have internalized the unofficial anti-White rule. They systematically take sides against their own racial group in the name of racial justice. But most of them would stop doing so if it became official that the objective of the government and the media is to destroy White people.
