The Extreme Center: How the Neocons Went Woke

No lessens, no consequences

The Iraq war was spearheaded by a remarkably small group of people. It has become politically untenable to justify that overt disaster and some of the key architects of that war have, much belatedly, come to acknowledge as much. As late as 2013 Max Boot was still arguing there was No Need to Repent for the Iraq War. He had changed his tune by 2018, writing in his book The Corrosion of Conservatism: Why I Left the Right, “I regret advocating the invasion and feel guilty about all the lives lost.” Boot claims, “It was a chastening lesson in the limits of American power,” yet in the same book complains that the modern conservative movement is “permeated with” racism, extremism and isolationism.

David Frum now describes the invasion as “a grave and costly error” and gives a thoroughly equivocal mea culpa. Robert Kagan says that the war “didn’t go exactly the way we wanted it to” and that “many aspects of the war” were “unfortunate.” Bill Kristol acknowledges that Iraq was “very difficult” and that “many things were done badly,” but concludes, “I’m inclined not to think it was [a mistake].” Since the inauguration of Trump, Kristol has changed his mind on trans rights, on gays, on abortion — but not on the catastrophe that led to over a hundred thousand civilian deaths. He told Jewish Insider: “Ironically, I’d say I’ve changed or rethought my views more on domestic policy issues… Foreign policy, I haven’t really changed my views. And I’ve been critical of Biden for the withdrawal from Afghanistan.”

Despite the repeated disasters in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and elsewhere, these figures remain as combative as ever. In 2018 Kristol told Vox, “the fact that the public is, quote, “war-weary”… those instincts have be challenged.” He told the Al Franken podcast that the Iraq intervention “didn’t destabilize the entire Middle East, I wish it had destabilized some of those places more.”

The neocons have been consistently wrong about foreign policy, and not just wrong, but wrong in the loudest, most doctrinaire and most uncompromising way possible. You’d think they might face some career blowback…

What actually happened?

Liberal adulation

On his MSNBC show, Ari Melber referred to 2018 as the year when “many people began referring to ‘woke Bill Kristol’.” According to Melber, this was “A tribute to the idea that people do evolve and that Trumpism can create strange bedfellows.”

Joy Reid, perhaps the most noxious personality on MSNBC, was positively glowing with praise:

One of the most amazing outcomes of the Trump administration is the number of neo-conservatives that are now my friends and I am aligned with. I found myself agreeing on a panel with Bill Kristol. I agree more with Jennifer Rubin, David Frum, and Max Boot than I do with some people on the far left. I am shocked at the way that Donald Trump has brought people together.

It turned out that in the throes of Trump Derangement Syndrome, being vehemently against Trump was enough to garner liberal adulation. During Donald Trump’s four years in office we saw the wholesale rehabilitation of the most discredited propagandists of the war on terror. After Trump called the Iraq war a “big fat mistake” in the 2016 Republican presidential debate ,the neocons rebranded themselves as the ‘moderate’ voice against the danger of a Trump presidency. They went on to find lucrative positions in the liberal messaging apparatus. Frum became a senior editor for The Atlantic. Boot is now a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, a CNN analyst, a columnist at The Washington Post, and a contributor to the New York Times op-ed pages. Robert Kagan is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and an editor at large for The Washington Post. Kristol is a frequent commentator on CNN and MSNBC.

In the liberal imagination, the Neocons shifted from being war criminals to sensible moderate centrists, and, after the 2020 election and January 6th, brave and principled defenders of democracy.

How did this happen?

Hawks for Hillary

In 2014 Jacob Heilbrunn, author of They Knew They Were Right: The Rise of the Neocons, predicted “the neocons may be preparing a more brazen feat: aligning themselves with Hillary Rodham Clinton and her nascent presidential campaign, in a bid to return to the driver’s seat of American foreign policy.” Attending a Foreign-Policy-Professionals-for-Hillary fundraiser, Robert Kagan was quoted as saying, “I would say all Republican foreign policy professionals are anti-Trump. I would say that a majority of people in my circle will vote for Hillary.” Hillary won the endorsement of almost every high-profile Neoconservative you could name. Eliot Cohen, co-founder of the Project for the New American Century; John McCain speechwriter Mark Salter; think tank goon James Kirchick. Boot said he would “sooner vote for Josef Stalin than[he] would vote for Donald Trump.” The Wall Street Journal’s most hawkish columnist, neocon Bret Stephens, penned an op-ed titled Hillary: The Conservative Hope. But no one else went as far as Bill Kristol, who, when, after running a rival candidate in 2016 proved a fool’s errand, tweeted that he would “prefer the deep state to the Trump state.”

This wholesale coalition between Bush-era neocons and hawkish Democrats started before Trump and it continued after he left the White House. In 2008 The Weekly Standard celebrated Hillary Clinton as “the great right hope” of foreign policy, hailing her transformation from “First Feminist” to “Warrior Queen.” In 2013 John McCain described Hillary Clinton as a foreign policy “rock star.” In a 2014 profile of Robert Kagan in The New York Times, Kagan mentions that he served on Hillary’s “bipartisan group of foreign-policy heavy hitters at the State Department, where his wife worked as her spokeswoman.” He said of Clinton’s foreign policy, “it’s something that might have been called neocon, but clearly her supporters are not going to call it that.”

This was more than a temporary marriage of convenience to stop Donald Trump. This is more than a pragmatic alliance. It’s an ideological convergence. The Neocons have cast off any pretence to conservatism while the Democrat Party has become uniformly pro-war. David Frum explained the realignment:

Trump pushed Never Trump Republicans into partnership with moderate Democrats — and prodded even formerly conservative minded people — to see power in ideas like Me Too and Black Lives Matter. … Old patterns are dissolving into something new.

The neocons had lost access to power in the GOP and needed to find a new constituency. Robert Kagan co-authored an article in 2019 attacking “America First” foreign policy with Antony Blinken, who is now Joe Biden’s Secretary of State. Kagan’s wife is Victoria Nuland. The two fell in love “talking about democracy and the role of America in the world.” Nuland is the ultimate example of the continuity (only interrupted briefly by Donald Trump) of personnel regardless of the administration. Nuland was a foreign policy adviser to Vice President Dick Cheney, a State Department spokesperson under Obama, and Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs in the Biden administration. Her worldview is identical to that of her husband.

The Alliance for Securing Democracy,  the national security advocacy group responsible for the Hamilton 68 scam of Russian pro-Trump influence, is governed by a board that includes Michael Chertoff, former secretary of homeland security under George W. Bush; Michael McFaul, former ambassador to Russia under Barack Obama; Bill Kristol; John Podesta; and, at one time, Jake Sullivan, now national-security adviser to President Biden. If there were ever a meaningful distinction between the liberal interventionists and the Neoconservatives, the two are now fully merged.

Invade the world, invite the world: Imperialism + Immigration

High-profile neoconservative figures have radically changed their positions on a whole range of issues to appeal to their new liberal followers but they’ve always been remarkably consistent on two policies: never ending war and unrestrained immigration. Preventing the migration of Muslims from such terror-prone countries as Afghanistan is beyond the pale, bombing those same people is seen as just fine.

Bill Kristol wants “new Americans” to replace a population he brands “lazy” and “spoilt” — “luckily you have these waves of people coming in.” Kristol has mourned the “insanity and cruelty” of ICE raids. “I’d take in a heartbeat a group of newly naturalized American citizens over the spoiled native-born know-nothings of CPAC” he tweeted in 2018. Kristol made open borders a litmus test of respectability. Asked about his previous endorsement of the brain-dead Sarah Palin he said: “I regret that. … To be fair, if you look at what she said in 2008, apart from some of the silliness, she was not anti-immigration. She was not xenophobic. She was not isolationist. … So, in a funny way, if we could have co-opted some of the populism and given them a place in a McCain-nominated Republican Party, maybe that would have been a good outcome.”

He told Vox: “I will say, you know, the Weekly Standard was pretty unapologetically anti-Buchanan. … Pretty liberal on immigration.”

As documented by the repentant former neocon Scott McConnell in a 2003 article in the American Conservative, and more extensively in the book The Great Purge: The Deformation of the Conservative Movement, the neocons were instrumental in the cancellation of any Conservative that expressed reservations about immigration.

Boot expressed the ultimate synthesis of imperialism abroad and multicultural colonisation at home. Bemoaning the size of the America’s fighting force, he noted, “there is a pretty big pool of manpower that’s not being tapped: everyone on the planet who is not a U.S. citizen.” He floated the idea of simply paying Afghans to occupy their own country: “The most efficient way to expand the government’s corps of Pashto or Arabic speakers isn’t to send native-born Americans to language schools; it’s to recruit native speakers of those languages.”

Historically the imperial project enabled the successful militarily power to attain new territory for its people to settle. Under the new imperialist framework, America invades countries only to welcome the waves of refugees that war inevitably creates. So the return on the blood and treasure expended in Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya is ever more Iraqi’s, Afghan’s and Libyan’s finding living space in the USA. According to the New York Times, in 2005, just a few years after 9/11, “more people from Muslim countries became legal permanent United States residents—nearly 96,000—than in any year in the previous two decades.”

Invade/invite are both formed by a similar panglossian view of diversity. For all the celebration of diversity, there’s a blindness to it, a belief that that deep down we’re all basically Americans, yearning for secular democracy and ‘freedom’ (in the form of unrestrained liberal hedonism and free markets). If diversity is a strength, there’s no reason to think that forcing democracy on a deeply sectarian country like Iraq might not work out. Here’s Kristol on Iraq: “I think there’s been a certain amount of, frankly, a kind of pop sociology in America that, you know, somehow the Shia can’t get along with the Sunni.”

In reality the Shia didn’t get along with the Sunni and horrific bloodshed between the two groups followed Saddam’s ouster.

In 2016 Robert Kagan wrote an article about Trump titled This is how Fascism comes to America:

His public discourse consists of attacking or ridiculing a wide range of “others” — Muslims, Hispanics, women, Chinese, Mexicans, Europeans, Arabs, immigrants, refugees — whom he depicts either as threats or as objects of derision. His program, such as it is, consists chiefly of promises to get tough with foreigners and people of nonwhite complexion. He will deport them, bar them, get them to knuckle under, make them pay up or make them shut up.

But he won’t bomb them. Therein lies the problem.

Anarchy at home, military occupation abroad

In 2020 over 130 senior Republican national security officials signed a statement that condemned Donald Trump because he “stokes fears that ‘angry mobs’ and ‘anarchists’ are destroying our country” and violated America’s “legacy as a nation of immigrants.” America’s foreign policy elite would like to wage non-stop war to “keep America safe,” yet when America’s urban centers themselves resemble war zones, the establishment either shrugs or cheers on the rioters (at least25 people died during the BLM riots, including a Trump supporter assassinated in the middle of the street in Portland).

Kori Schake, Director of Foreign and Defense Policy at the American Enterprise Institute, writes: “Recent protests in Amsterdam, London, and elsewhere show that what happens in America matters for the advance of human rights and civil liberties elsewhere. … Our struggles are the world’s struggles, because the values that form our republic are universal values.” Schake was a foreign policy adviser to the McCain-Palin 2008 presidential campaign and served as director for Defense Strategy on the National Security Council under George W. Bush. In an article titled “This Upheaval Is How America Gets Better,” Schake celebrated the violent riots of 2020: “We are now seeing America becoming better than it was. This churning, disputatious, and even sometimes violent dynamic is what social change in America looks like.” She praised the military for “modeling how to amplify black voices” while linking to a video of Dave Goldfein, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, talking about turning the force into a “safe space.”

“I used to be a smart-alecky conservative who scoffed at ‘political correctness,’” wrote Max Boot, but 2017 was “the Year I Learned About My White Privilege.” “The Trump era has opened my eyes. … I have had my consciousness raised. Seriously.” He has referred to increasing support for BLM as “a reason for optimism.” This is the man who, a month after 9/11, penned an essay for the Weekly Standard titled “The Case for American Empire” where he called for America to “embrace its imperial role.”

David Frum, the man who coined the infamously ludicrous “axis of evil” phrase as a speechwriter for George W. Bush, is a senior editor for The Atlantic, a magazine that marries Black radicalism with rabid militarism. During the wildly destructive Black Lives Matter riots it published articles with titles like “Anger Can Build a Better World” and “How Rage Can Battle Racism.” I’ve previously written thatThe hegemonic ideology of America is now a mutant symbiosis of the thought of Dick Cheney and Ibram X. Kendi.” On theatlantic.com articles by Kendi and David Frum (albeit not Cheney himself) are but a click apart (Joe Biden’s Special Representative for Racial Equity and Justice at the State Department recently met with Kendi and had a discussion about “the ongoing, global impact of white supremacy & the importance of collective effort across sectors to build a world where racial & ethnic equity & social justice prevail”). The New York Times, the ultimate vector of elite consensus-forming, became a home for Max Boot and Bret Stephens to call for America to act as the world police while also publishing articles like Yes, We Mean Literally Abolish the Police – but not, of course, the military.

Jennifer Rubin, another former neocon and a deeply unserious blogger who specialises in emotion-laden hyper-partisan bluster, has performed a remarkable political one-eighty, but continues to be one of the nation’s most rabid warmongers. Rubin went from being an anti-abortion zealot to worrying “if women cannot get abortions, will the military have trouble recruiting women?” In 2011 she criticised Newt Gingrich for being insufficiently enthusiastic about the Iraq war. She wrote a blog post that called out John McCain for opposing “enhanced interrogation techniques.” More recently, Rubin has become the Biden White House’s favorite pundit.

Responding to census data, Rubin tweeted, “a more diverse, more inclusive society. this is fabulous news. now we need to prevent minority White rule.” During the widespread riots and looting of 2020, Rubin tweeted “BLM is peaceful.” “White Christian nationalism”, by contrast, “will inevitably lead to violence, cruelty and lawlessness.” She blamed the violence of 2020 on “white agitators.” Combining both her neocon and woke credentials in a single sentence, upon the death of civil rights agitator John Lewis she claimed it “is easy to be despondent — as many were after the passing of John McCain.” Lewis’s courage, she tweeted, was “honored and echoed in the actions of BLM protesters.”

Speaking on MSNBC’s AM Joy of Trump supporters, Rubin said of the Republican Party (that she’d been a member of just a few years earlier):

What we should be doing is shunning these people. Shunning, shaming these people is a statement of moral indignation that these people are not fit for polite society.… We have to collectively, in essence, burn down the Republican Party. We have to level them because if there are survivors, if there are people who weather this storm, they will do it again.

Rubin has shown herself more than willing to support the actual physical levelling of ideological enemies abroad, so perhaps this isn’t hyperbolic rhetoric so much as a literal policy prescription.

When the official GOP Twitter account accurately pointed out that Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson supported critical race theory, Bill Kristol shot back “No more dog whistles. Just unabashed bigotry.”

Conclusion

In “Unpatriotic Conservatives,” David Frum managed to accuse those conservatives sceptical of the Iraq war of being both nativists and unpatriotic. The neocons managed to instrumentalize and exploit a redefined version of American nationalism that entangled American identity and nationalism itself with their own ideological proclivities. In that essay Frum accuses the great conservative intellectual Sam Francis of pursuing “a politics devoted to the protection of the interests of what he called the ‘Euro-American cultural core’ of the American nation,” and he condemns White advocates like Kevin MacDonald. That, in the minds of Neocons, is the very definition of unpatriotic.

Many conservatives still reflexively venerate the military. This increasingly resembles a case of battered-wife syndrome. Enoch Powell once told Margaret Thatcher that if Britain were to become communist, he would still fight for his country in war. I always regarded that as a moronic sentiment. One wonders how long Toby Keith-style nationalism can be instrumentalized for a political project that is fundamentally at odds with the interests of those actually doing the fighting and the dying. For all his faults, Trump was correct when he told Tucker Carlson that the biggest threat to the United States is no external enemy: “Who’s the biggest problem? Is it China? Could it be Russia? Could it be North Korea? No. The biggest problem is from within. It’s these sick, radical people from within.”

In a campaign video Trump reiterates, “The greatest threat to Western civilization today is not Russia. It’s ourselves.”

America won the Cold War against the Evil Empire only to one day resemble a gay, trans, racialized version of it — a woke Leviathan straddling the globe. Michael Ledeen, perhaps the most overtly deranged of all the Neoconservatives, wrote in his book War Against the Terror Masters:

We tear down the old order every day. … Our enemies have always hated this whirlwind of energy and creativity, which menaces their traditions (whatever they may be) and shames them for their inability to keep pace. Seeing America undo traditional societies, they fear us, for they do not wish to be undone. They cannot feel secure so long as we are there, for our very existence—our existence, not our politics—threatens their legitimacy. They must attack us in order to survive, just as we must destroy them to advance our historic mission.

Increasingly, that historic mission is the global spread of critical race theory and radical gender ideology. If ever it had any moral claim to police the world or export its way of life, that claim was burnt to the ground in 2020. It’s when the woke mob stops burning the American flag and starts waving it that the world really has a problem. When the moral certitude of social justice meets the impervious militarism of Neoconservatism, it will make for the most noxious and destructive brand of imperialism the world has ever seen.

Many years ago, starting in the 1980’s I used to read the Christian Science Monitor. I thought it was a very good newspaper and better than other newspapers with much bigger reputations. I once saw a long and extensive article from them on the neocons, in the early 1990’s I believe, the people that made up the group, and their backgrounds. It was an excellent article and I was surprised to see the article openly discuss the founders of the movement and that most of the people belonging to it were Jews. It discussed their parents liberal backgrounds and what motivated them. The neocons was presented as a Jewish political movement. I never found that article again. It was removed from their website. I don’t recall, but I may have even written to them and inquired about it. It was definitely removed from their website and no longer available.

I only glossed through the article because to me, if it does not mention Jews explicitly, its misses the point entirely. The author repeats the often heard line “The neocons have been consistently wrong about foreign policy.” I don’t think they have been wrong. I think they got what they desired, the destruction and weakening of Israel’s enemies (Iraq, Syria, Libya, etc.) while building Israel into a nuclear power. If they were wrong about building the middle east into a blossoming democracy, so what? That was not their primary goal. Their primary goal was to smash and weaken Israel’s enemy, the Arabs. From the Jews (neocons) perspective, their policies were a smashing success.
In WW II, the western allies destroyed the British Empire and gave all of eastern Europe to the Soviet Union, but few people regard WW II less than a smashing success. Their primary goal was achieved – the destruction of Germany. When Pat Buchanan wrote a book arguing otherwise, he was sharply criticized by some and the book has not changed the perception of WW II, and since then, Pat Buchanan has been fired from the TV show he was on, and pretty much “neutralized.”

Ron Unz explains in a new article he wrote and put on his website, but Ron Unz has Jewish privilege, and won’t be excoriated as an “anti-semite”, and if the neocons try to do that it will fail.

      He wrote:

The heavily Jewish composition of the Neocons and their often intense focus on Israel hardly passed without notice among their resentful traditionalist rivals, but speaking out on such matters might be portrayed as “right-wing anti-Semitism” by the media and was therefore fraught with peril. For decades, Russell Kirk had been regarded as one of the most prominent conservative thinkers, but when he sharply criticized the Neocons in a major 1988 speech, archly declaring that “Not seldom has it seemed as if some eminent Neoconservatives mistook Tel Aviv for the capital of the United States,” he was bitterly denounced and his words became “infamous.”

The elderly Kirk was already near the end of his life, but during this period occasional missteps by other leading conservative figures outside the Neocon camp were quickly seized upon and trumpeted to the media as pernicious proof of “racism” or “anti-Semitism,” sometimes leading to the destruction of long careers. Two notable cases were those of Joseph Sobran and Sam Francis.

Although the name of Joseph Sobran may be somewhat unfamiliar to younger conservatives, during the 1970s and 1980s he possibly ranked second only to founder William F. Buckley, Jr. in his influence in mainstream conservative circles, as partly suggested by the nearly 400 articles he published for NR during that period. By the late 1980s, he had grown increasingly concerned that growing Neocon influence would embroil America in future foreign wars, and his occasional sharp statements in that regard were branded “anti-Semitic” by his Neocon opponents, who eventually prevailed upon Buckley to purge him. The latter provided the particulars in a major section of his 1992 book-length essay In Search of Anti-Semitism.

Oddly enough, Sobran seems to have only very rarely discussed Jews, favorably or otherwise, across his decades of writing, but even just that handful of less than flattering mentions was apparently sufficient to draw their sustained destructive attacks on his career, and he eventually died in poverty in 2010 at the age of 64. Sobran had always been known for his literary wit, and his unfortunate ideological predicament eventually led him to coin the aphorism “An anti-Semite used to mean a man who hated Jews. Now it means a man who is hated by Jews.”

A very similar fate for very similar reasons [was also] suffered by the late Sam Francis, one of the leading paleoconservative theorists in America, and a top opinion editor at The Washington Times, then a leading national force in the conservative movement. Despite winning numerous journalist awards and serving as an adviser to the presidential campaigns of Pat Buchanan, Francis lost most of his public outlets when he was purged for having the wrong associations, and his large body of accumulated writings have mostly disappeared from the Internet.

A particular flash-point came in 1990 after Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait and President George H.W. Bush prepared to go to war against him in response. Many leading traditional conservatives expressed very strong reservations about Bush’s Gulf War plans, while the Neocons fervently supported the attack against Israel’s most dangerous regional rival. Pat Buchanan had held important positions in both the Nixon and Reagan Administrations, and he was then a nationally-syndicated columnist with a huge television footprint on Crossfire, the McLaughlin Group, and other popular cable shows, certainly ranking as one of our most influential conservative figures. The ADL and other Jewish groups ferociously attacked the pugnacious pundit when he declared to his national television audience of millions:

Capitol Hill is Israeli occupied territory…There are only two groups that are beating the drums for war in the Middle East – the Israeli defense ministry and its ‘amen corner’ in the United States…The Israelis want this war desperately because they want the United States to destroy the Iraqi war machine. They want us to finish them off. They don’t care about our relations with the Arab world.

      https://www.unz.com/runz/the-neocons-and-their-rise-to-power/

To me, anything less than that misses the point entirely, of US foreign policy in the middle east since the 1970’s. I find it almost humorous that the “neocon” Jew Max Boot passes as someone looking out for America’s interests, and everything he devotes his life to, Israel and Jews, can’t be discussed. Max Boot is a Jew that was born in the USSR, but no one would dare suggest he traded sides (the USSR for the USA) because the USSR that the Jews originally dominated, reduced the Jews role significantly immediately after WW II and took back their country. They even supported the Arab countries during the cold war. The Jews like Boot that left the USSR fit much better in the USA, where they now hold the dominant position they originally held in the USSR, but they probably have their eyes out for another country to move to, with the US in serious decline.

  5. Neocon Slayer
    Neocon Slayer says:

Despite all the discussion about neocons over the decades, nobody has really come close to distilling what it actually is besides Pat Buchanan. Neoconservatism is just three planks: Zionism, neoliberalism (open borders, postindustrialism, ‘free trade’ etc) and protracted postmodernism (Frankfurt School/Cultural Marxism).

The goal was to have a bipartisan consensus, which was achieved from approximately 1980-2016, forming a de facto emergency rule (sometimes necessarily codified: Patriot Act). This meant winning the election outright and also as the controlled-opposition (like graduating with a major and a minor degree). The defeated party had to be a loyal opposition or else the entire strategy would become unspooled.

What made this conquest so remarkable was it took relatively few neocons to occupy the GOP, almost like Raj India (50,000 Redcoats defeat and ruled 300 million Indians), forming the vanguard in concert to the heavily-Jewish Democrat Party. The neocon origin story is out of the Democrat Party (so too with the ‘Religious Right’ – see Jimmy Carter). They made their Exodus under the Reagan Coalition, but then made Aliyah back to the Democrats under Trump after promising to do so for decades if Buchanan, Ron Paul or even Rand Paul won the GOP nomination. And they made good on their promise of ‘I’m with her’ the day after Trump won.

Neoconservatism was always social liberalism (sexuality, demographics etc). It functioned as a dashpot relative to the accelerationism of Democrats, not definitively taking any actual social position, but instead becoming almost single-issue (warmongering), which allowed another consolidated ‘March through the institutions’ of all things white Christian. Then when it was no longer needed or tenable, the neocons were to discard the mask (or in the last few years, literally put one on to identify each other) because the charade ran its course and there was no actual distinction without a difference detectable to even the dumbest Cuckservative Shabbos goyim.

      K M Landis says:

The German government is increasing the annual payments to the Central Council of Jews (ZdJ) in Germany, which have been in place since 2003, from the current 13 million euros to 22 million euros in the future. On Friday, Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser (SPD), Josef Schuster, President of the ZdJ, and Mark Dainow, Vice President of the ZdJ, signed an amendment agreement to this effect, according to the Ministry of the Interior. The now amended treaty is to come into force after ratification by a federal law.

With the increase, the Central Council will intensify its activities to make contemporary Jewish life visible, it said. Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser commented, “It is a miracle and a great fortune that after the human crime of the Holocaust committed by Germans, there is such diverse Jewish life in Germany again today.” Protecting and supporting this Jewish life is an important part of today’s responsibility, she said.

“That is why we are significantly increasing the annual payments to the Central Council of Jews in Germany from 13 to 22 million euros in the future. We can thus further strengthen the educational and remembrance work, but also the security of Jewish communities,” Faeser said. Central Council President Josef Schuster said that in the past decades Jewish life in Germany had acquired a diversity that had been taken for granted before the Shoah.

“This development is now to be consolidated, and that requires dedication, effort and cohesion – both from the Jewish community and from society as a whole.” The bulk of the increased benefits will go toward the operation of the Jewish Academy in Frankfurt, which is scheduled to open in 2024, Schuster said. “The mission of the academy is to formulate a Jewish perspective on debates in mainstream society and to set themes in all self-determination.”

With the additional annual funding, the Central Council of Jews also aims to establish a nationwide training program for security personnel at Jewish institutions. In cooperation with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, security personnel are to receive special training on possible dangers as well as de-escalation and prevention strategies, it said. In the area of anti-Semitism prevention, additional funds are to be used, for example, for further training for textbook authors.

Aminata Touré does not want an asylum cap

The Merkel years as a declared model: Integration Commissioner Aminata Touré thinks the German government should spend significantly more money on its migration policy. In return, there should finally be an end to upper limits and the distinction between skilled workers and asylum seekers.

Aminata Touré (Greens), the integration commissioner of Schleswig-Holstein, is calling for Germany to stop talking about upper limits in its immigration policy. Such discussions send the “wrong signals,” Touré told Die Welt.

The distinction between good and bad immigrants should also be abandoned by German politicians, he added. She rejected the current dividing line between skilled workers and asylum seekers. It makes “no sense at all to send people away again who have not come to us as skilled workers, but who could work as skilled workers in the meantime.”

Deportations and repatriations do play a role, but they are “not decisive for a sensible migration and skilled labor policy. He also said that no distinction should be made between safe and unsafe countries of origin.

Touré described statements by FDP politicians that the mistakes of the “Merkel years” should not be repeated as “difficult.” Merkel had not “ducked away” but had “tried to create a social consensus for her policies.” At the same time, he said, compared to 2015 and 2016, it was necessary to put structures in place earlier that were prepared for large migratory movements.

For this to succeed, however, the federal government would have to make more money available to the states. The 2.75 billion pledged so far for Europe would not cover the costs of the federal states “by a long way”.

    • K M Landis
      K M Landis says:

Germany is run by traitors, just like America. They have no concern for the interests of their own people. The political system is rigged, with effectively only one party, controlled by Jewish money, just like in America.

For example, the German government has downplayed the attack on the Nord Stream pipeline by the US military. They blame Russia, instead. They want to advance US-Jewish interests, even at the expense of their own people.

      • Space Cowboy
        Space Cowboy says:

The “FRG” is a shell company of American Jews. The Jews also co-govern all the big “German” companies. This applies above all, but not only, to companies of “strategic relevance”, like defense contractor. For example, 9 of the top 10 Rheinmetall shareholders are based in the US, in this order: Harris Associates, Wellington, Capital World, Fidelity, LSV, Vanguard, BlackRock, Dimensional, BKF.

But they have also been highly active in buying up renowned medium-sized companies for years. In the meantime, more than 3,000 medium-sized companies from Germany alone are making larger sales in the U.S. than at their place of origin. BlackRock & Co quietly became the largest apartment owners in Germany. In all the largest housing groups (Vonovia, Deutsche Wohnen, LEG) in Germany, they are the main owners. They drive up rents and utility costs.

For example, BlackRock hides its 8.47 percent Vonovia shares in 158 shell companies in a dozen suitably selected financial havens. The fake structures are called, for example, BlackRock Delaware Holdings Inc, BlackRock Holdco 6 LLC, BlackRock Luxembourg Holdings S.a.r.l., BlackRock Asset Management Schweiz AG. And the “EU Commission” and the German Finance Ministers look on or rather look away.

From the beginning of the 2000s, “private equity” investors Blackstone, KKR, Cerberus, Carlyle & Co bought about 10,000 well-performing medium-sized companies in Germany alone until 2018, burdened them with loans, took profits, imposed wage freezes and layoffs, expelled works councils, sold off company real estate and, after two to a maximum of 8 years, sold the “slimmed-down” companies on to the next investors at a profit, with some succeeding in the even more lucrative IPO.

The transatlantic ownership nexus has never been as high as it is today and so dominated by U.S. capital organizers. In between, there are only individual investors from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Norway and China. BlackRock & Co are the dominant players in most of the EU’s leading banks and corporations.

BlackRock & Co collude with each other and form the dominant shareholder bloc. This is also facilitated by the fact that the next largest investors, such as Vanguard, State Street and Norges, are also shareholders in BlackRock. BlackRock & Co sell risk and market analysis to their companies and also own the U.S. rating agencies from which companies must buy their ratings for a few million each year.

BlackRock was tasked by Obama with handling the financial crisis, advising the Fed, as well as the ECB and major Western central banks. BlackRock is a co-owner of 17,000 companies, including Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Daimler, Siemens, VW, Rheinmetall, BAE Systems, RWE, Eon, etc., making it the biggest insider in the Western financial and economic world – no financial regulator or antitrust agency can match it.

BlackRock&Co don’t give a damn about national antitrust and stock corporation law in the EU. They don’t even waste their time on supervisory board positions. No important decisions are made in these rubber-stamper boards with the few well-behaved trade unionists. But the boards have to report regularly to Wall Street. “They’re making us show up,” Eon CEO Teyssen confided to Handelsblatt. BlackRock & Co never say anything at shareholder meetings. They remain invisible. They clear everything up in advance. “We can achieve more if we hold talks away from the public throughout the year,” Lawrence Fink told Handelsblatt.

The U.S. judiciary rules directly into (Western) European corporations. For years, they have to install high-ranking U.S. teams on the board of directors at their own expense and grant access to all internal information. In Germany, this applies to Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, HypoVereinsbank, VW, Siemens, Bilfinger and Daimler.

At Daimler, the reason is to monitor all employees, including their salary accounts, for terrorism links. The U.S. investigators, who are paid by the company, can threaten Daimler employees with termination if they do not sufficiently comply with the duty to provide information. The state government of Baden-Württemberg and IG Metall also agreed.

At VW, the chief legal advisor to Pepsi Cola and ex-US Deputy Attorney General, Negro Larry Thompson, has headed a multi-member group of investigators at the Wolfsburg headquarters since 2017. VW pays “tens of millions of euros” per year for this, as the business press uncritically reports. The investigators will monitor the car company worldwide until 2020. All 30,000 employees in the USA were also interrogated. The reason for this was the “emissions fraud” in the US.

When General Electric wanted to buy the power plant division of the French Alstom Group, board member Frédéric Pierucci opposed it. With the help of an accusation that he had bribed a politician in Indonesia, he was arrested at New York airport in 2013, interrogated, not charged, but held hostage for two years in various U.S. prisons; prisoners were sent after him as FBI informers. After General Electric bought Alstom, Pierucci was released, on condition that he not be employed by Alstom. The European Commission approved the sale.

Pierucci summarizes: Since 2008, the U.S. has destabilized 14 Western European corporations, including 5 French ones, under fake pretexts to give advantages to U.S. corporations. By the way, Pierucci’s book “Le Piège Américain” (The American Trap) was not published in German, although – or because – it, written by a top manager, meticulously documents one of the US forms of domination over the EU, including the use of the NSA secret service.

Fake-“Germany” is the most densely occupied state in the world by a foreign power. About one and a half dozen U.S. military bases with worldwide networking into all U.S. theaters of war, mediation stations for drone assassinations. Revealing: The scientific service of the Bundestag stated: “We cannot say with certainty how many military bases the USA maintains in Germany, our inquiries in Washington remained unanswered.”

And the 10 U.S. military bases in Italy are not enough either: Kosovo was separated from Serbia in violation of international law so that the U.S. base Bondsteel, surrounded by poverty, is protected. And in addition to NATO, the U.S. operates some 16 U.S. military bases in the other EU states of Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Hungary. For all the rhetoric for “European self-reliance” – the US occupation of the EU is not up for discussion.

The U.S. corporate consultants McKinsey & Co, the Big Four of U.S. business “auditors” with Price Waterhouse Coopers&Co, the U.S. business law firms Freshfields & Co, the Big Three of the U.S. rating agencies Standard & Poor’s & Co – they are all traditionally lobbyists for the corporations, and they have also become permanent state advisors in the EU, in Brussels and in Germany. They co-govern.

Accenture, with 400,000 highly paid academics the world’s largest consulting group, together with McKinsey trims the employment agency and the job centers so that the humiliated unemployed remain the largest obedient reserve army for the temporary employment industry, which in turn is led by the largest temporary employment agencies Adecco and Manpower, which of course, it has become so boring, are owned by BlackRock & Co.

The U.S. economy and industry are shrinking, and the majority of the population is impoverished. The moral standing of the superpower has diminished worldwide. But U.S. investors, military, intelligence and advisers are present in the European Union, more than ever. And governments and the leading media are complicit – especially in Germany.

Deregulation under Clinton had legalized new financial products and new Wall Street financial players such as hedge funds and private equity funds, and had also opened up a new area of operation for the very large capital organizers such as BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street: they did not found companies, but now bought and are buying up existing companies, exploiting them, merging them or splitting them up, slimming them down, destroying jobs, hiding private profits. They prefer not to pay taxes – in the USA they have their headquarters in the financial oasis of Delaware, and the EU has expanded the financial oasis of Ireland for them and offered the financial oases of Luxembourg and the Netherlands in bite-sized portions.

A very informative article. The ((( Neoconservatives ))) are a particularly disgusting bunch, as are their ((( equivalents ))) in Europe, and it is usually painful to read the litany of their incompetence, mental illness, and misdeeds, but this article manages to sustain the interest to the end. No doubt by its constant and subtle irony in describing all these scoundrels.

Another example of Jewish inversion :

” Historically the imperial project enabled the successful militarily power to attain new territory for its people to settle. Under the new imperialist framework, America invades countries only to welcome the waves of refugees that war inevitably creates. So the return on the blood and treasure expended in Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya is ever more Iraqi’s, Afghan’s and Libyan’s finding living space in the USA.”

But the inversion becomes perfectly normal if the goal is to protect the Jewry all over the world by using the blood and resources of others (in this case the Americans) while destroying them at home so that never again will another Hitler appear in an occupied territory ( the USA, EU, etc ).

Anyway, because of this article, I also noticed an unexpected gift for premonition :

The expedition was organized by Richard Byrd, a young explorer who had already achieved great fame in the United States. The aircraft and radio equipment were state of the art. The cost of the mission was an incredible one million US dollars, the equivalent of 15 million US dollars today.

“In democratic republics, tyranny goes to work differently (than in despotisms); it goes directly to the mind. Here the ruler no longer says: ‘Either you think like me – or you die,’ but he says: ‘You have the freedom not to think like me, but from that day on you are a stranger among us. You will keep your citizenship, but it will no longer be of any use to you. You will dwell among men, but you will lose your rights to human intercourse’.”

He also spoke of democracy as the “tyranny of the majority.” I disagree with that to this extent: We are clearly dealing here with the tyranny of a very certain “minority” that sets all other minorities against us.

It is the cult of Babel, it is the religion of the Pharisees, of the Gnostics, and of the Prometheans. Jesus Christ called it the synagogue of Satan. One would have to take the Jews seriously by the nose and to make clear to them urgently: “Now you finally stop to throw your contaminated ‘Nazi’ nonsense at us! 80 years of this bullying and psycho terror are an overkill! Nobody in the world makes such an inconceivable torturous noise like you. Neither we nor anyone known to us has ‘slaughtered’ you, and what of your myths corresponds to reality, we are not allowed to seriously question or check because of your censorship terror and persecution mania. Once must be an end to it. We are not in this world to be your moral servants. Who do you think you are?”

The insanity of excessive outrage and the sycophancy of the media has been well illustrated in Britain after one remark by Diane Abbott about prejudice against Jews and a Guardian cartoon about a BBC boss who happens to be Jewish.

It is an infamous (originally as always British) lie that Germans “have no sense of humor”. Germans can even laugh at bad American humor and their lack of foreign language skills! The ultimate proof I hereby present, may I introduce: “Dummkopfwerk”.

However, for the sake of German thoroughness, it must be pointed out that the “Superaryan” Florian (with the somewhat oversized formed “spice tester” in his ugly mug) had Jewish ancestors. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florian_Schneider

Quote: “The neocons have been consistently wrong about foreign policy, and not just wrong, but wrong in the loudest, most doctrinaire and most uncompromising way possible.”

According to my understanding, the Ashkenazim’s foreign policy was actually very successful. The Ashkenazim wanted to evolutionarily strengthen the position of Israel in the Middle East by weakening the surrounding Arabs, and they did just that – they destroyed Iraq and Afghanistan and now permanently occupy a significant part of Syria. They have also been successfully clearing out Arabs from Palestine and repopulating the area with Ashkenazi people. They are also slowly expanding into Lebanon, clearing out the Arabs, and repopulating those regions with Ashkenazi people. It is Putin that has temporarily been serving as an impediment to clearing out all the Arabs from Syria and repopulating all of it with Ashkenazi people. Thus, the winning strategy is to keep on following the “Neo-Conservative” plan of using every tool at disposal to remove all Arabs from the Middle East and repopulate it with Ashkenazi people.

The Ashkenazim have been using Saudi Arabia to reduce the Arab population in Yemen, soon to be repopulated with Ashkenazi people. And I hypothesize that Saudi Arabia will also soon be targeted for Arab depopulation and then repopulation by Ashkenazi people. This is the point of “Neo-Conservatism” – not to create Cultural Marxist Arab nations, but to facilitate Arab depopulation and Ashkenazi repopulation. As I see it, it is only a matter of time before all the Gentiles in the world are replaced by Ashkenazi people. It will be evolutionary replacement, similar to how the Homo Sapiens replaced the Neanderthals.

Again, I’ll say how I find it genetically interesting how virtually all of the ethnically European elites have “prostituted” themselves to the Ashkenazi Neo-Conservatives, thus to me placing just as must subjective moral culpability on these European elites as on the Ashkenazim. Subjectively speaking, I am quite amazed at the level of the Ashkenazi “potty mouth” directed at heterosexual European-American males, and I am equally amazed at the fact that it was heterosexual European-American males who imported the Ashkenazim to America in the first place, just as they did century after century in historical Europe.

You are right on target. They are also doing the same repopulation in their former Khazarian territory; starting with the Ukraine. Isn’t it interesting that again, it is the Rus (Russians) who are standing in their way. Putin is no Sviatoslav I Igorevich; but we can hope that others, like him, are soon to come to power in Russia, Eastern Europe, and other points on this earth.

What’s amazing to me is how right wing whites, not you, talk of being better than Jews when whites are being wiped out.

I’ll read claims that whites are uniquely one way (leading to extinction) or that the better white way is to do something else (also leading to extinction). There’s never an attempt to adapt, never an attempt to survive.

If I say we should learn some (not all) things from Jews/others, I get told, or used to, that such isn’t the white way.

By their fruits you shall know them. Arguably the instigators of goy wars and genocides etc, are almost always Talmudists; and most Talmudists are of Khazarian extraction. You don’t have to be of Khazarian or Sephardic extraction to be a Talmudist but most of them are. Arguably also, some seeming goys whose actions evidence that they are Talmudists, have concealed Khazarian ancestry.

What and who are Talmudists? Rabbis who study these Aramaic texts?
What is the genetic and historical evidence that the Ashkenazim are wholly or mostly Khazars?
