“Widespread Misconduct”: Trump Admin Orders All Beneficiaries Of Nation’s Largest DEI Program To Surrender Financial 

The Small Business Administration has ordered all 4,300 firms in its 8(a) “socially disadvantaged” program, which receive no-bid federal contracts, to turn over their financial records, including general ledgers, bank statements, payroll files, subcontracting agreements, and other internal documents, by January 5 or face removal from the program.

SBA’s crackdown on one of Washington’s oldest DEI initiatives follows mounting evidence that some 8(a) firms have become a major pipeline for fraud, pass-through schemes, and artificially inflated contract costs.

Late last month, Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute and the investigative journalist who broke the Clinton Cash corruption story, published a report exposing the cronyism and corruption inside the 8(a) program, where pass-through firms handed bidless contracts on silver platters while quietly outsourcing the real work to major consulting companies.

“For years, DC insiders have exploited a federal DEI contracting program that provides windfalls to Beltway elites. This open secret isn’t about helping the downtrodden; it’s about bagging no-bid paydays. The SBA’s 8(a) program is long overdue for reform,” Schweizer wrote on X.

There was also a recent U.S. Treasury Department investigation into $9 billion in small-business contracting, amid alarming concerns from Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and others about rampant fraud and abuse in preference-based programs. In other words, meritocracy will return under the Trump administration.

Everyone in the DC consulting world understands how the game works: set up a compliant 8(a) “small business,” win the no-bid award, and let the big consulting firms do all the work.

8(a) was DC’s best-kept secret – until journalist James O’Keefe blew the lid off the DEI program. O’Keefe went undercover and captured video of an individual linked to ATI Government Solutions bragging about keeping $65 million of a $100 million contract while subcontracting out the work.

Several firms, including ATI, have since been suspended. Native American tribes whose names were used in pass-through schemes are also under increasing scrutiny.

SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler said there is mounting evidence that minority contracts had become “a pass-through vehicle for rampant abuse and fraud,” especially after the Biden administration raised the target for contracts “set aside” for minorities from 5% to 15% of all contracting dollars.

“We’re committed to thoroughly reviewing every federal contract, contracting officer, and contractor — while working alongside federal law enforcement,” Loeffler said.

Such reports “have raised questions about widespread misconduct within the 8(a) Business Development Program, adding to years of credible concerns that the program designed to serve ‘socially and economically disadvantaged’ businesses has become a vehicle for institutionalized abuse at taxpayer expense,” the SBA wrote in its letter to the 4,300 “disadvantaged” firms.

    Axel Springer benefits from illegal settlements

    A report in Bild about a secret Hamas document turns out to be disinformation. But while the article causes a stir in Israel, the Springer publishing house’s questionable ties to Benjamin Netanyahu go largely unnoticed in Germany.

    In Israel, a media scandal has caused a stir in recent days, but it has received little attention in Germany. Germany’s largest newspaper, Bild, was directly involved. On September 6, it published an exclusive report that allegedly revealed the contents of a secret Hamas document said to have been found on the computer of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in Gaza. According to the report, the document contained Hamas’ strategy for the ceasefire negotiations. According to Bild, it proved that a ceasefire was not a priority for Hamas: “Hamas is not seeking a quick end to the war.”

    However, the Bild report, which was also cited by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a cabinet meeting shortly afterwards, is apparently based on pure fiction. Israeli military sources told the Israeli newspaper Ynet that the army had already discovered a similar document in Gaza at the beginning of the year. Israeli military reporter Ronen Bergman writes that it is neither an official strategy document nor was it found “anywhere near” Sinwar’s computer or written by senior Hamas personnel. A sentence from the document quoted by Bild, according to which the negotiations are to be artificially prolonged by Hamas, is not found in the real document.

    Bergman speaks of a “campaign” by Bild to support Netanyahu’s narrative that the negotiations are failing because of Hamas. In Israel, this plays into Netanyahu’s hands. Violent protests against a ceasefire agreement are currently jeopardizing his political strategy. Israeli journalist Shlomi Eldar also sees the Bild report as a fabricated leak from the prime minister’s office, “a well-timed campaign against relatives of the hostages,” as he wrote on X.

    Map without Palestinian villages

    The Bild report remained online uncorrected at the beginning of the week. The fact that Germany’s largest newspaper is apparently selling an Israeli disinformation campaign as an exclusive report is in itself a journalistic scandal. At the same time, it seems logical in a way: back in June, the Netanyahu-friendly newspaper Israel Hayom announced a comprehensive cooperation with Bild. When confronted with the allegations by the newspaper Neues Deutschland, Bild stated that Israel’s military had “officially confirmed the authenticity of the document reported by the newspaper after publication.”

    But it doesn’t stop at cooperation: the Springer Group also owns the Israeli subsidiary Yad2 – Israel’s leading online platform for classified ads. In addition to ads for cars and weapons, the company also publishes ads for the rental and sale of real estate. The platform displays an online map of the entire territory of Israel and Palestine (with the exception of Gaza) that can be searched by region, on which Palestinian villages and cities do not exist, and uses the slogan “From the River to the Sea” as its advertising slogan. Thousands of listings on Yad2 are located in Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. And, as reported by The Intercept, Axel Springer earns money from these listings: private individuals can advertise for free, while commercial providers pay for it.

    Over a thousand of the paid ads on Yad2 are currently advertising real estate in settlements. Some of them are located in outposts – settlements that are illegal not only under international law, but even under Israeli law. Others are on private Palestinian land that was confiscated by Israel “for security purposes” and now houses Israeli settlers.

    Expropriated property

    In light of a ruling by the International Court of Justice at the end of July, this practice appears particularly controversial. The ruling states that Israel’s occupation is illegal and that Israel’s settlement policy is also unlawful. In the court’s view, practices such as land confiscation and the extension of Israeli law and infrastructure to settlers violate a UN convention prohibiting apartheid. Point 278 of the advisory opinion also explicitly states that UN member states are obliged to distinguish between Israeli territory and the occupied territories.

    Meanwhile, Yad2 lists properties in some of the most ideologically extreme settlements. Yad1, a subpage of the platform, also advertises new construction projects in settlements. When confronted with Yad2’s practices, a spokeswoman for Axel Springer stated at the beginning of the year: “Discrimination has no place at Axel Springer.” The company opposes all forms of racism. Nevertheless, while Yad2’s terms of use prohibit racist content, they do not prohibit the practice of selling real estate based on ethnic criteria.

    “We call on the company to cease activities that contribute to such serious human rights violations,” said Omar Shakir, Israel-Palestine director at Human Rights Watch. “The land on which these settlements were built is expropriated Palestinian property.” Shakir sees the ads on Yad2 as supporting the settlement project. “Companies that participate in this are profiting from a system that systematically discriminates against Palestinians.”

    The flooding of millions of white countries in temperate climate zones by culturally alien brown people is therefore a clear violation of the fundamental laws of nature.

    And, of course, the Whites are ruthlessly plundered and overrun as a result! One need only consider the ancient Chinese texts on warfare. Nowhere do they say, “Be honest with our enemies!”
