Went to a “Future of Ireland” conference in Roscommon today, organised by migration critical Gript.ie. It was kept very low key — almost zero publicity on the web.
Good crowd, good atmosphere, zero pro-refugee protestors trying to disrupt it — although disruption was threatened. Two national parliament boys were there and a couple of councillors. A couple of professors also. Three priests. Following the no-problem National party conference a few weeks back, it seems Remigration is going mainstream.
Not many digs at the Israelis from the stage. David Quinn, who self describes as one of only 50 well known pro-Zionists in Ireland, managed to drag Gaza into the debate. But at least he refrained from actually praising the Israelis.
There was a comedy show starting as I left. The first song seemed to have a Hitler theme. Are we reaching a free speech singularity? Bitching about immigration and Adolf-themed comedy on the same day and no pushback.
Two people of whom I am somewhat suspicious asked me the exact same question: Did you hear anything new?

It’s true that a lot of it was general bitching about the state of the nation and there was some material presented in a demoralising way: One guy made a point of saying “The fighting Irish are gone”. Obvious nonsense: there are thousands of micro aggressions — Irish on foreigner — every day. I had to chastise an Arab for leaving his car engine running and lights on when he went into the shop. I am slighly disappopinted I didn’t insist.
Commentator Aldo showed more detrmination when he and the wife went into trad Dublin chipper Beshoffs.
A few moments later, a young black fellow came up the stairs, sat directly behind us and immediately started roaring into his phone in some incomprehensible tongue.
Not one to shy away, I turned around and told him to shut the fuck up; that he was in a public area and that nobody wanted to listen to his him talking sh1te. He took umbrage at this and started roaring at me, saying I was a racist and that he would call the Gardaí. I told him that I am a racist and that he should go ahead and call the Guards.
At this point, a staff member came bumbling over, pleading with the African man to stop roaring. I explained to the (foreign) staff member that we had paid over €30 for food and didn’t appreciate having to endure listening to some gobshite who doesn’t know how to conduct himself in a public place.
The African became even more aggressive, coming into my personal space. I warned him not to touch me. He left shortly after in a right state. A solid victory for myself I would say.
The lesson I’d like people to learn from this minor altercation is that there is a duty and onus on Irish people to stand up to foreign retards who act in this way. Not only is it a civic duty, but it’s also very enjoyable.
Every second day I find myself admonishing some foreign idiot on public transport for speaking too loudly on the phone or blaring music. I personally very much enjoy barging into them when they’re blocking the footpath on my to work.
These are small acts, but they send a clear message.

It’s odd that the Law doesn’t recognize loud noise as being a type of assault. After all, sound consists of a wave propagated through air molecules, which are things. So loud sound is a physical thing. It impacts your ear drums irrespective of your, the listener’s, will.
This being the case, why not equip oneself with one of those miniature boater’s air horns. They fit easily into the pocket. Were you to hold this up to your torturer’s ear and let loose a blast, he would be temporarily dazed into insensibility.
Of course, this being an effective means of winning the battle, the courts would quickly act to change the laws governing its use.

For legal noise warfare, try a bombard – a super loud wind instrument from Brittany. No bigger than a tin whistle. Takes quite a bit of skill and lungpower to produce the sound.

Most Irish and Europeans here are very aware when they are in a public place that a darkie might start randomly killing people. We keep our eyes and ears open and stay on our toes, ready to fight or flee or raise the alarm.

I have seen this a lot the last few days. It’s misleading.
The former Roman city of Septa (modern Ceuta) has had a European population for most of the last two thousand years. It passed from Roman to Visigothic rule until the Arab conquest around 700. The Portuguese reconquered it in 1415 and it remained mostly Portuguese in population until 1640 when the inhabitants agreed on a peaceful transfer to Spanish rule.
