Darel E. Paul: Mass Immigration Lowers Fertility

June 6, 2025/5 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

Mass Immigration Lowers Fertility

…

The causal connection between mass immigration and falling native fertility is somewhat mysterious. A common hypothesis points toward a housing effect. Some housing price increases have negative fertility effects, and a number of studies from the United States show that immigrant inflows drive up housing prices in the short-run. Research on the 1980 Mariel Boatlift showed that a 7 percent increase in the Miami labor force in one year caused an 8-11 percent real increase in rents that in turn caused a three-year fertility slump as steep as 14 percent among the city’s renters. At the same time, Miami homeowners showed no fertility decline, and other research from the United States and Canada has shown that an increase in housing wealth among homeowners can actually increase fertility among this group. Czech real estate prices certainly rose in 2022, but no more steeply than in the period before the refugee influx, and they actually declined in 2023. Moreover Czechia has a homeownership level well above the EU average, which should temper rather than exacerbate fertility decline.

Another hypothesis emphasizes household income. An immigrant surge can drive down wages, especially at the lower end of the wage scale, making natives poorer and thus decreasing their fertility. Yet the unemployment rate for Czechs aged 25-54 (the mean age of Czech women at childbirth is now 30.4) is the lowest in the European Union and has even fallen slightly since 2021.

Materialist hypotheses are not the only ones we can entertain. Studies have shown significant fertility effects from all manner of ephemeral cultural and political events, whether elections or sporting matches or papal visits. Why wouldn’t a mass immigration event provoke a fertility reaction far greater than an electoral or sporting defeat?

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, support for the Czech right-populist party ANO has been on the rise, reaching an all-time high of 35 percent earlier this year. ANO’s popularity has begun to flag in recent months only due to the challenge from Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD), a party even farther out on the populist right. Both ANO and SPD hold restrictionist positions and win the support of right-wing populist voters motivated by feelings of cultural dispossession and powerlessness, a preference for homogeneity over heterogeneity, and fears over national decline. ANO leader and former Prime Minister Andrej Babiš explicitly has connected mass immigration, native fertility decline, and national despair, saying in 2021, “They know that mass, unchecked illegal migration is not the solution. Quite the contrary. The only truly sustainable solution against Europe’s extinction is to increase the birth rate of our own, indigenous population.”

The connection between cultural despair and fertility decline is not necessarily direct, however. Young Czechs of child-bearing age are not right-wing populist voters. Their parents and grandparents are. Those who despair over the demographic future of the nation turn out to be the ones least able to do anything about it. Their worries drive support for right-wing populism, which in turn provokes a left-wing backlash from the young that trends toward anti-natalism. This is especially true among young women, precisely the demographic that needs to buy into the populist fertility project for it to succeed.

In a period of low and declining fertility, many conclude that mass immigration is the only solution to population decline, societal aging, and welfare-state collapse. But simply on demographic grounds, mass immigration may be a cure worse than the disease. Rather than resign themselves to importing the next generation, policy-makers should ask why natives have lost so much faith in the future.

    Amsterdam invented “capitalism”. Extreme
caution required when mentioning this term!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X8KpxnlKWY

Which is, of course, total nonsense. The Jews invented “capitalism”. Not as a real principle, but as a propaganda term to create social envy and resentment in order to dumb down the masses and declare the losers to be “kings”. Their method to generate hatred!

Its forerunner was Marx. I’m not talking about commerce, trade, free market, entrepreneurship, which have always existed, in Genoa/Venice, the Hanseatic League, but about speculation and compound interest, which is a Jewish flaw in the system.

If you search for “capitalism”, the Jewish agitator
“Richard Wolff” appears more than others in Juden-
tube in the form of his disgusting, hateful pig face.

The undermining Jew Unz publishes such disgusting communist filth.

Of course, the evil Germans are not only
to blame for Nazism, but also for “capita-
    lism”, since they invented Protestantism
and thus Nordic work and success ethic.

Well, that is probably a slight understatement
and just a tiny fraction. Of course, it can be
assumed that the “German diaspora” includes
far more members and produced far more des-
cendants than is officially known and admitted.

    PS “capitalism”

The Jews enthusiastically celebrate their parasitic money lenders and financial speculators with names like Warburg or Rothschild like heroes, even on Judentube. But the truth is that they have destroyed healthy commerce that serves everyone.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJu7LP_nQMw

This had completely different sources. Starting in northern Italy, the busy trading activities of the Italian Medici, Borgia, Orsini, Visconti and Sforza families shifted to German patricians such as the Fugger, Welser and Hochstetter families. And these were neither Protestants nor Calvinists, but Catholics.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugger_family
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welser_family
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hochstetter_family

The claim that “capitalism” is a “Protestant invention” is historically untenable. Unlike the Catholic Habsburgs, the Calvinist Huguenots were Protestants. But despite their business acumen, they cannot be considered the founders of capitalism either.

What is known today as “capitalism” has its origins in the industrial age, particularly in British Manchester. Everything before was “proto-capitalism” in this sense. The National Socialists, for example, never criticized Henry Ford or the Rockefellers (who had their origins in Rockenfeld in Hesse), who are also considered “capitalists”.

What is in fact more than worthy of criticism are primarily Jewish post-war inventions such as unscrupulous, unrestrained concepts like “neoliberalism” (Mises, Hayek) or “anarcho-capitalism” (Rothbart, Ayn Rand).

    Shlomo “AI” says:

“Schaffendes und raffendes Kapital”: These terms originate from a distinction made in nationalist, völkisch, and later Nazi ideology, especially in early 20th-century Germany:

    – Schaffendes Kapital (literally “productive capital” or “creative capital”)
    – Refers to capital invested in industry, crafts, or agriculture—seen as “honest,” hard-working, and beneficial to the people.
    – Represents the idea of wealth generated through labor and productive enterprise.
    – Raffendes Kapital (literally “grabbing capital” or “parasitic capital”)
    – Refers to capital involved in speculation, banking, or interest-based finance—often portrayed as “unproductive,” exploitative, and alien to the people.
    – Associated with financial elites, and in the historical context, frequently linked to antisemitic stereotypes (i.e., equated with “Jewish bankers”).

    Important Note [sic]:
These terms are considered ideologically loaded and historically tainted, especially because “raffendes Kapital” was used in antisemitic propaganda to vilify Jewish financiers. In modern discourse, these concepts are generally rejected as expressions of conspiracy theories and antisemitism.

I don’t understand why low demographic growth or stagnation is equated with regress. By this logic, very dense and populous nations like India, Bangladesh or Nigeria should be very happy. I see quite the contrary. These countries are unmanangeable hell-holes. Lower demographics means higher salaries, lower cost of housing and less profit for business owners. Maybe people in our millieu should reasses their view on “living wage” , which is a socialist (or Christian) demand. Or with “profit at all costs”. An entrepreneur who’s not beneficial to community as a whole should not be allowed to do business. That particular societal demand will be met by another economic actor, at a lower cost for society. Our minds have been judaized more than we think.

I think the. main reasons are insecurity caused by crime rates (just look at rape statistics). Also from hostility by members of the groups that come to these countries, This causes feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, fear and is most likely subconscious to a large degree, since most people are programmed to think that caring about their own kind and being logical with regards to migration and repatriation makes people evil nazis and Hitler or evil extreme supremacists who want to hang people for no reason.

Which makes people suppress their logical answer and feelings.

Another matter is of course the horrible decline in culture we see with the dependence on daily blacks for music which is in many ways alien and quite a lot of times stolen. Regardless it is alienating and weird to non blacks in many cases. And then there is the ultra capitalist thieving major label music companies that push horrible pop music that has bo soul that is plastic and just terrible and lacks any true feelings or soul. Then there is of course the truly alienating and antisocial nature of the so-called “dance music”.

Same with art, design and in many cases architecture.

A lot of companies are run and owned by thieves hence the public receives terrible copies in terms of quality and other metrics. So they receive terrible copies of real art and the like, which feels and is fake.

This may be due to the spreading of gypsy genetics among the elite and the population probably spearheaded bu conscious infiltration of the elite through the freemasons and probably the illuminati. And with gypsies and travelers causes of behavior can also be slavery and inbreeding.

Another reason is the dechristification of Europe and the states that is taking place to a degree. Although a lot of people are still Christian.

      That is an interesting perspective.

In Sweden, 24 to 30 % of children and women are sexually abused and over 70 % of these crimes are by immigrants.

Most hangings of blacks in the USA was caused by rape of white women. And Arabs and blacks in Sweden are overrepresented 8 times when it comes to rape compared to whites.

There is a huge hostility from many immigrant groups towards whites. Such hostility is at large dependent on the origin region of the immigrants in question of course. With other groups it is competition for jobs and education. Regardless of the cause I do think this causes a lot of stress for whites.

Actually although I don’t think segregation was a great system, it most likely worked for whites.
