The days when the Anglo-Zionist States of America could “strike anywhere on the globe at the time and place of our choosing, and sustain that force“ are over, and most unlikely to return. But our rulers can’t let go. As Danny Davis and Doug Macgregor are fond of saying, they’re still living in the 1990s or so—and that’s dangerous. It always was dangerous, for the rest of the world but also for America. We never could afford that, even with the petro-dollar system in place to absorb the inflation that America exported to support its vast NatSec sector. And yet our rulers appear determined to maintain our colonization of the world in the face of all developments and evidence that make it clear that that project is simply unsustainable. The Anglo-Zionist war on Russia, Iran, and now—it looks like it—Yemen, all to reverse the rise of China and maintain the Anglo-Zionist Empire—all this must continue. BREAKING: World oil inventories are projected to hit their operational floor of 6.8 billion barrels this month if the Strait of Hormuz stays shut, per JPMorgan.

Below this level, pipelines can’t maintain pressure and refineries start failing, regardless of what price oil is trading at.

This would mark the first time in recorded history the world has had to worry about physical oil availability, not just price.

The energy crisis was delayed. Now it’s arriving all at once.

Philip Pilkington thinks the biggest mistake of the Iran war may not have been failing to prevent the energy shock. But pretending the shock wasn’t happening.

With a huge chunk of global oil supply disrupted, Pilkington argues prices should have been allowed to rise gradually, forcing consumers, businesses and logistics networks to adjust before physical shortages appeared.

Instead, he says, Washington spent weeks suppressing the market and buying time. The result?

Now France is already reporting fuel shortages, Saudi oil flows to Europe are being squeezed, and Philip sees diesel, gasoline and jet fuel shortages beginning to move through the wider economy.

And diesel is where the problem stops being about what you pay at the pump. Trucks, ships and freight trains run on it. Once fuel stops reaching vehicles, goods stop reaching shelves.

Europe gets 10% of its diesel from the US, and now the US is talking about a halt to diesel exports. Uh oh!

Pilkington expects the result to look less like an ordinary recession and more like the supply-chain chaos of the pandemic, except with one crucial difference:

With all this hitting the fan—yesterday my price for gas hit $5/gallon after several days of increases—Trump is preparing for war on Yemen. Midterms be damned, full speed ahead! This is confirmation of what PP says, above, about the foolhardy attempts to pretend that there was no crisis coming. There always was and now, after months of US military resources being degraded and depleted, the Anglo-Zionist rulers are desperate to break Iran:

BREAKING: Iran’s IRGC says the US has decided to resume military action against Iran at a joint meeting in a European country, with a “green light” given from regional countries, and warns that if the US moves, “all of its bases and interests in the region will become targets of continuous attacks, without any limitations or considerations.”

BREAKING: Iran’s Army, with a total of 420,000 troops, says the majority of its ground force units are now deployed along the country’s borders, with a heavy concentration on the Makran coast on the Gulf of Oman, including special forces, rapid-response, mechanized and artillery units, per Fars.

Iran anticipates US ground forces may attempt to invade through the southern coastal cities, coming after Trump said Thursday he is approaching “a major turning point in the war with Iran” and has “a big decision coming up.”

Note that there is a bit of ambiguity here. Any turning point in the war on Iran will have major consequences for the world. Iranian reports indicate that Iran expects major attacks on Iran, possibly including attempts to land US forces on Iranian territory. Iran has been preparing for this for literally decades and those preps have probably reached a fever pitch. I seriously doubt that the US has the resources to make this work and to avoid a major disaster—partly because I believe Iran has still been pulling some of its punches to this point.

On the other hand, CNN and other sources claim that a major strike on Yemen is in preparation. The two—huge escalation on Iran and major strike on Yemen—are not mutually exclusive, but one wonders whether the US has the resources to follow through. By resources I mean stand off munitions and defensive missiles to protect naval assets. And there is no reason to suppose that Russian and Chinese support for Iran (and thus for Yemen) has done anything except increase and intensify.

But here’s what I think the thing is. Suppose that—again all odds—this works, in the sense that any operation of this sort can be said to “work,” will this return the world to “normal”. That’s the real bottom line, and I’m convinced the answer is, No. Again, this is a measure of Anglo-Zionist desperation.

By the way, my understanding is that Xi Jinping is still due in DC on Thursday, the 24th. Does Trump plan some brief attack before the visit? If so, I doubt Iran and Yemen will respond briefly. Will Xi cancel in view of the reported attack plans? Lots of questions.
