In 1973, shortly before his death, the French President Georges Pompidou admitted to have opened the floodgates of immigration, at a request of a number of big businessmen, such as Francis Bouygues, who was eager to take advantage of docile and cheap labor devoid of class consciousness and of any tradition of social struggle. This move was meant to exert downward pressure on the wages of French workers, reduce their protesting zeal, and in addition, break up the unity of the labor movement. Big bosses, he said, “always want more.”
Forty years later nothing has changed. At a time when no political party would dare to ask for further acceleration of the pace of immigration, only big employers seem to be in favor of it — simply because it is in their interest. The only difference is that the affected economic sectors are now more numerous, going beyond the industrial sector and the hotel and catering service sector — now to include once “protected” professions, such as engineers and computer scientists.
France, as we know, starting with the 19th century, massively reached out to foreign immigrants. The immigrating population was already 800,000 in 1876, only to reach 1.2 million in 1911. French industry was the prime center of attraction for Italian and Belgian immigrants, followed by Polish, Spanish and Portuguese immigrants. “Such immigration, unskilled and non-unionized, allowed employers to evade increasing requirements pertaining to the labor law” (François-Laurent Balssa, « Un choix salarial pour les grandes entreprises » Le Spectacle du monde, Octobre, 2010).
In 1924, at the initiative of the Committee for Coalmining and big farmers from the Northeast of France, a “general agency for immigration” (Société générale d’immigration) was founded. It opened up employment bureaus in Europe, which operated as suction pumps. In 1931 there were 2.7 million foreigners in France, that is, 6.6 % of the total population. At that time France displayed the highest level of immigration in the world (515 persons on 100,000 inhabitants). “This was a handy way for a large number of big employers to exert downward pressure on wages. … From then on capitalism entered the competition of the workforce by reaching out to the reserve armies of wage earners.”
In the aftermath of World War II, immigrants began to arrive more and more frequently from Maghreb countries; first from Algeria, then from Morocco. Trucks chartered by large companies (especially in the automobile and construction industry) came by the hundreds to recruit immigrants on the spot. From 1962 to 1974, nearly two million additional immigrants arrived to France of whom 550,000 were recruited by the National Immigration Service (ONI), a state-run agency, yet controlled under the table by big business. Since then, the wave has continued to grow. François-Laurent Balssa notes that
when a workforce shortage in one sector occurs, out of the two possible choices one must either raise the salary, or one must reach out to foreign labor. Usually it was the latter option that was favored by the National Council of French Employers (CNPF) and as of 1998 by its successor, the Movement of Enterprises (MEDEF). That choice, which bears witness of the desire for short-term benefits, delayed advancement of production tools and industrial innovation. During the same period, however, as the example of Japan demonstrates, the rejection of foreign immigration and favoring of the domestic workforce enabled Japan to achieve its technological revolution, well ahead of most of its Western competitors.
Big Business and the Left; A Holy Alliance
At the beginning, immigration was a phenomenon linked to big business. It still continues to be that way. Those who clamor for always more immigration are big companies. This immigration is in accordance with the very spirit of capitalism, which aims at the erasure of borders (« laissez faire, laissez passer »). “While obeying the logic of social dumping, Balssa continues, a “low cost” labor market has thus been created with the “undocumented” and the “low-skilled,” functioning as stopgap “jack of all trades.” Thus, big business has reached its hand to the far-left, the former aiming at dismantling of the welfare state, considered to be too costly, the latter killing off the nation-state considered to be too archaic.” This is the reason why the French Communist Part (PCF) and the French Trade Union (CGT) (which have radically changed since then) had, until 1981, battled against the liberal principle of open borders, in the name of the defense of the working class interests.
For once a well-inspired Catholic liberal-conservative Philippe Nemo, only confirms these observations:
In Europe there are people in charge of the economy who dream about bringing to Europe cheap labor. Firstly, to do jobs for which the local workforce is in short supply; secondly, to exert considerable downward pressure on the wages of other workers in Europe. These lobbies, which possess all necessary means to be listened to either by their governments or by the Commission in Brussels, are, generally speaking, both in favor of immigration and Europe’s enlargement — which would considerably facilitate labor migrations. They are right from their point of view — a view of a purely economic logic [...] The problem, however, is that one cannot reason about this matter in economic terms only, given that the inflow of the extra-Europe population has also severe sociological consequences. If these capitalists pay little attention to this problem, it is perhaps because they enjoy, by and large, economic benefits from immigration without however themselves suffering from its social setbacks. With the money earned by their companies, whose profitability is ensured in this manner, they can reside in handsome neighborhoods, leaving their less fortunate compatriots to cope on their own with alien population in poor suburban areas. (Philippe Nemo, Le Temps d’y penser, 2010)
According to official figures, immigrants living in regular households account for 5 million people, which was 8% of the French population in 2008. Children of immigrants, who are direct descendants of one or two immigrants, represent 6.5 million people, which is 11% of the population. The number of illegals is estimated to be between 300,000 to 550,000. (Expulsion of illegal immigrants cost 232 million Euros annually, i.e., 12,000 euro per case). For his part, Jean-Paul Gourevitch, estimates the population of foreign origin living in France in 2009 at 7.7 people million (out of which 3.4 million are from the Maghreb and 2.4 million from sub-Saharan Africa), that is, 12.2% of the metropolitan population. In 2006, the immigrating population accounted for 17% of births in France.
France is today experiencing migrant settlements, which is a direct consequence of the family reunification policy. However, more than ever before immigrants represent the reserve army of capital.
In this sense it is amazing to observe how the networks on behalf of the “undocumented,” run by the far-left (which seems to have discovered in immigrants its “substitute proletariat”) serve the interests of big business. Criminal networks, smugglers of people and goods, big business, “human rights” activists, and under- the-table employers — all of them, by virtue of the global free market, have become cheerleaders for the abolition of frontiers.
For example, it is a revealing fact that Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri in their books Empire and Multitude endorse “world citizenship ” when they call for the removal of borders, which must have as a first goal in developed countries the accelerated settlement of the masses of low-wage Third World workers. The fact that most migrants today owe their displacement to outsourcing, brought about by the endless logic of the global market, and that their displacement is precisely something capitalism strives for in order to fit everybody into the market, and finally, that each territorial attachment could be a part of human motivations — does not bother these two authors at all. On the contrary, they note with satisfaction that “capital itself requires increased mobility of labor as well as continuous migration across national borders.” The world market should constitute, from their point of view, a natural framework for “world citizenship.” The market “requires a smooth space of uncoded and deterritorialized flux,” destined to serve the interests of the “masses”, because “mobility carries a price tag of capital, which means the enhanced desire for liberty.”
The trouble with such an apology of human displacement, seen as a first condition of “liberating nomadism,” is that it relies on a completely unreal outlook of the specific situation of migrants and displaced people. As Jacques Guigou and Jacques Wajnsztejn write, “Hardt and Negri delude themselves with the capacity of the immigration flows, thought to be a source for new opportunities for capital valuation, as well as the basis for opportunity enhancement for the masses. Yet, migrations signify nothing else but a process of universal competition, whereas migrating has no more emancipating value than staying at home. A “nomadic” person is no more inclined to criticism or to revolt than a sedentary person.” (L’évanescence de la valeur. Une présentation critique du groupe Krisis, 2004).
“As long as people keep abandoning their families, adds Robert Kurz, and look for work elsewhere, even at the risk of their own lives — only to be ultimately shredded by the treadmill of capitalism — they will be less the heralds of emancipation and more the self-congratulatory agents of the postmodern West. Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Facing the Future as a Minority

Having travelled to over 100 countries, most of

These people, all of them, are literally selling out Western civilization so they can maintain the superficial, superfluous and gratuitous lifestyle to which they have become accustomed (and in the case of Jewry, extract a pound of flesh from the European people’s that comprise one of their endless list of historical enemies).
It’s little wonder that conscienceless Jewry has become the modern elite’s moral standard-bearers and those they look to for ethical guidance instead of the traditional Western sources of Greek and Christian thought, given the elite’s own hatred of their “inferiors,” which itself is psychologically convenient to their own desire to betray, subjugate and exploit the Western masses.
And too, elite-minded Jewry is the perfect “victim” partner-in-crime, and Zionism the perfect Trojan horse subtext/pretext for those elites both intent on wringing the Western masses for all their worth through the military-industrial complex “national defense” racket, which is additionally the spearhead for the even larger Globalist and fiat money Ponzi scheme.
Where does it all end? Either with world war as these self-serving sociopaths seek to swallow the world to keep their scams going and their luxuries maintained…or with the mad dog “elites” being taken down, wrung for all THEIR worth, and tarred and feather by Western-partisan masses and nationalists in order that Western civilization can be rebuilt and restored.
This isn’t a flip inquiry. I truly wonder if some sort of technology could be pursued that could scan the brains of our leaders and aspiring leaders for disposition towards sociopathy, which in conjunction with rigorous psychological testing could return a score on their moral and psychological fitness to lead any sector of society.
For example, if their scores reveal them to be sociopaths or psychopaths to a certain degree, whether they have actually yet committed a crime or moral/ethical atrocity, they’re rendered as unfit for public service, or to lead, in any capacity, any publicly-traded corporation.
Given the costs to society, culture, civilization, and humanity itself of allowing these “elite” sociopaths and psychopaths to worm their way into positions of leadership in the West, the benefits would outweigh the costs and controversy to such a degree that it seems insane not to pursue such a strategy.
It seems that big business in France was responsible for recruiting cheap labor immigrants to France and not “The Jews”. Why don’t you tell that to Kevin MacDonald?
To say that capitalism had a role doesn’t imply that ethnic politics didn’t also have a role–as in the U.S. De Benoist emphasizes the collusion of capitalists with the far left without really describing the ethnic dynamics of the left. There is no question that the organized Jewish community in France has supported non-White immigration and has vigorously opposed the National Front–even Marine LePen’s version. As elsewhere, it has strongly tended to the left and has an elite position in the media and in French culture generally. The article might be said to illustrate the need for an anti-immigration democratic populism or an ethno-nationalist elite able to control the capitalists. In the US the capitalists were kept under control until the 1965 immigration law which was far more the result of ethnic activism than capitalist pressure. (Indeed, I have never come across anyone who has said that the 1965 law was remotely the result of capitalist pressure.) Profit-seeking by capitalists is a lamentable aspect of Western individualism.

Big business in France is often ran by Jews. Regardless, promotion of immigration is hardly unique to Jews, although they have been at the forefront of open borders in America. They are also coming at it from a different angle. Of course they want the cheap labor, but they also want to dilute European monocultures out of historical grudges, etc.
Big business has almost always loved cheap labor, and some of the biggest proponents have been gentiles.
The problem has always been a top-down problem. Take for instance a situation in the U.S. where you have a lot of cheap immigrant labor here illegally. Farmer A decides he wants to hire some illegals knowing they will work on the cheap and in all probability, nobody is going to take any enforcement action against him. Farmer B doesn’t want to hire illegals, and wants to hire White workers to do the job, and pay them more.
Problem is, Farmer B is going to go out of business. Unless a government says no to immigration and enforces this rule, capitalism will always demand that one hires the cheaper worker. In most cases, this is a non-white worker who is either illegal, or at least has lower expectations in terms of a standard of living. A lot of those expectations are relative. Most people want to do better than their parents. For an immigrant, that means something totally different than a native-born American. A lot of people rag on White people for not mopping floors for $6/hr. But if you took that same minority or immigrant, they wouldn’t do it either if they were coming from a upper-class or middle-class living situation in their previous country. You don’t have many Indian doctors moving to the U.S. to mop floors. You also wouldn’t have many Mexicans moving to the U.S. to mop floors if they had well-paying factory jobs in their previous country.
On top of that, with currency conversion rates, a Mexican can send home U.S. dollars and that dollar is going to go a lot farther in their homeland. In the U.S., White workers have no such luxury.
It truly is a rigged system.

I have to say I find visiting France increasingly depressing owing to the large unassimilated non-European population you encounter there. The situation has changed over the years to the point where it scarcely feels like a European homeland and I agree that the proportion of immigrant children is even larger than that of adults.
The beginning of an answer might be to advocate a concept of French or European citizenship based on domicile rather than residence. This would create controversy, generate hostility from all the right groups and thus publicity. The problem would be steering it around the laws limiting free speech that have sprung up over the last 20 years.

With this you can test whether a person feels sorrow and compassion when shown a picture of a severely wounded person.Normal persons do ,psychopaths don’t.Not only do they not feel sorrow and compassion when confronted with human suffering,often they feel pleasure.This shows in the coloring of the different parts of the brain in the scan.It cannot be faked.
Problem is of course to have such tests be accepted by the elite.It is like asking the leaders of the Mafia for permission to test wether they are moral persons.It’s not very likely they will give that permission.

The so-called “civil rights” movement which has been very much aimed at taking away rights from, and destroying whites, is beyond debate, in my opinion, nothing other than outright communism. It has been and is financed largely from contributions of large corporations. Beyond that, who has been responsible for the new wealth of the Communist Chinese at our expense; who supports immigrants in and jobs out. If one looks deeply into the philosophy of big business it’s little different from communism; the professed goals are pretty much the same and neither have any use for a free and independent population; ie., mom and pop business. How many of those has Walmart put out of business?

I agree, but business has no interest in doing this, because business is only concerned about the bottom-line. Capitalism is effective at diluting ethnic interests because ethnic interests often get in the way of profit, especially when an insane immigration policy allows for new “consumers” and cheap workers to compete for those previous jobs and goods.
However, capitalism is usually only concerned with short-term profits, especially crony-capitalism that worships the stock market. Take for example companies that live from quarter to quarter to appease shareholders without taking long-term growth into consideration.
Furthermore, most of the individualist Whites that occupy positions of power in the Fortune 500 do not register ethnic concerns at all. This is partly because they have been indoctrinated within an educational system that taught them as such, and partly because the business world demands that all you care about is profit, profit, profit.
Obviously there are problems with unchecked immigration in the long run. Examples include dilution of purchasing power for domestic populations, increased social tear, and what will eventually be low-IQ immigrants replacing higher IQ Whites. Not to mention the psychological toll it is having on society.
People often mention the declining birthrates of Whites as grounds for their replacement by immigrant consumers and workers. First, this is based on an Endless Growth model of economics, which is wholly unsustainable in the long-term, and second, more Whites would be having children if they could afford a solid middle-class lifestyle.
The answer is control of government by Whites who have ethnicity in consideration when making decisions on business and regulation. The policies of the National Front in France are a good example of an anti-globalist pro-French agenda that needs to be adopted in the United States before the demographic picture shifts to far from our grasp.

Incidentally, presupposing a Jewish reply that a certain significant percentage of Gentiles have historically enjoyed seeing Jewry suffer, I would respond that as unfair as it may be to Jewry, it’s far healthier to have a small percentage of the population enjoy seeing an even smaller percentage of the population suffer than it is to have, say, 2-10% of the population (or whatever percentage comprises hostile Jewry and its collaborators) enjoy seeing the other 90+ % percent suffer.
But we live in upside down times where everything has been turned on its head at the behest of Jewry. And besides, Jewry now has Israel, so it really should be a non-issue.

Millions were given Amnesty under the Simpson/Mazzoli bill, with an outcome of 6 million and a path to citizenship. A good many had rushed processing, with major problems they way it was originally performed. On top of this was CHAIN MIGRATION, which added even more family members, which ended up eating away at Social Security safety net, with not a dime coming from their pockets. Each year taxpayers are forced by the court to care financially for illegal aliens and their children. Over a 100 billion a year is drained from the US treasury and States, with no end in sight. President Obama cannot survive the 2012 election campaign, without the vote of maximum number of minorities, legal and illegal.
In America since the immigration lax enforcement, the criminals from the dregs of the gutters have been turning up here. Hit and run drivers have been escalating, along with drunken foreigners who have been mowing down innocent citizens. This is the abject time when E-verify must be mandated for every workplace and “Secure Communities” must be enforced to its full capability.

My impression of the tea partiers is that they’re more free-enterprise/small business advocates who probably also dabble in the stock market and have retirement portfolios there than they are mindless partisans of Big Business, as are so many of the corporatist elements of the establishment GOP.
But yes, with so many people now vested in the stock markets (which is necessary for any kind of return in this low interest, fiat-money era) which then goes to the problems Greg outlined above, in many ways Westerners are being forced to cut their own throats.
Who engineered the low interest, fiat-money regime, which is largely imposed upon the West out of Washington by dollar hegemony? In recent decades its been taken to its extremes by Greenspan, Bernanke, the Jewish-run Fed…so again, it all leads back to organized Jewry and its seizing of the levers of power, especially since WWII.

You see this forced throat cutting with respect to the housing market, too. Raise interest rates, and prices on those assets sink lower. Request and end to immigration, and you will also find people ready with the threat that the housing prices will further collapse. Gotta keep importing millions of aliens each year or else, or so we are told.
At least the writer is honest to admit that the great majority of immigrants to France (and many other European countries, the US and Canada) were not beggars but were allowed to serve the big business as cheap labor. Now, since the chidren of the ‘cheap labor in the past’ are far better educated than their ancestors, and therefore, demand equal pay and political rights – the Zionazi like Geert and Benwick wants them to be expeled because they’re taking jobs from the native Whitefolks.

There is a noteworthy connection between the new “video” of Charles Lindbergh’s 1941 speech and the significant but unvoiced element of this article brought to the fore by the comments of Professor MacDonald and one or two others: namely, the strength of Jewish influence in both France and the United States and the ability of powerful Jews—fully seventy years ago, be it noted—to subvert both countries and not only hasten the onset of war but also exacerbate its ferocity, widen its scope, prolong its duration, and manipulate its consequences.
What Lindbergh’s speech makes painfully clear is that the Jewish grip on the levers of sociocultural and political power was as firm then as it is now, the only significant difference being that it was still possible in 1941 for a white Christian to publicly decry Jewish power, at least on American soil. France, alas, was much worse off. Even fifty years earlier, Jewish control of France was so far advanced that the Dreyfus affair had become in effect a trial run for Holocaust™ propaganda.* Taking the officially banned contrary view—that Dreyfus was indeed guilty—is still as illegal in France as questioning the (continuously updated and revised) official Shoah narrative.
Aside from innocent ignorance, the overwhelming reason that many people, including many TOO commenters, think that Tribal tyranny is much more all-pervasive now than it was in 1950, 1960, or 1970 is technological in nature: the state’s willingness and ability to monitor and restrict travel, written communication, speech, and even thought, an ability it signally lacked in Lindbergh’s day (FDR sure as shootin’ didn’t lack the willingness, however!). In our day this ability has reached such terrifying proportions that I can only regard people who use Facebook and other social-networking sites and programs as willing accomplices in the destruction of their own privacy and personhood.
*Even before World War I, the programmatically anti-Catholic (and pro-Jewish) Third Republic had made the charge “Dreyfus was framed” an article of its faith. Unsurprisingly, it is less widely known here than in France that it was not just Charles Maurras and his royalist Action Française colleagues and their allies who went to their graves convinced that Dreyfus was guilty (as were undoubtedly Esterhazy, Henry, and most of the others who were accused of framing him, incidentally). Much of right-of-center France, till perhaps as late as the sixties, held much the same view, though they held it very, very quietly. For what it’s worth, I too believe that Dreyfus and several of his military accusers were all guilty as charged. A test for sociopathy wouldn’t tell us much. The problem with our leaders is not that they are sociopaths, or even greedy, but that they are moralists. Every bad decision in American history has been made because of “morality,” whether it was sending half a million young Americans to kill one another in the civil war, sending thousands more to kill their cousins in World Wars 1 and 2, allowing unrestricted third world immigration into the country, or giving certain people the right to vote. All that was done because they were the “good” things to do.
Now, in a realistic society would we allow people with an average IQ of 85 to take part in the democratic process? No. Would we sell out our interests to a hostile foreign nation and allow them to control our foreign policy? No. Would we import millions of illegals even though they wreck our economy and commit crime? No. Would we ignore empirical, scientific findings that show certain people are smarter and less impulsive than others on average? No.
Instead, we fight against reality all the way, simply because the tribe tells us to. Ignore the science. Ignore the statistics. Do what feels right. Be a good person. Allow in the tired, poor, huddled masses. Don’t worry if it ruins your life and the country altogether.
That’s the problem with whites: their incessant need to feel good. Unfortunately they don’t decide what’s good for themselves. They let blacks, Jews, and anyone non-white decide what’s good for them, and they fall in line immediately, without ever questioning it. Moral arguments are slippery, situational, and that can cut both ways. Zionist argumentation is very instructive here. The Zionists’ plan for U.S. domestic policy is cloaked in moral arguments, but so is their apparently contradictory plan for Palestine.
What you need to do is come up with a moral argument for doing the right thing. One thing we have learned from observing the Zionists is that moral arguments can be conceived for a wide spectrum of actions. It shouldn’t be impossible for you to identify one or several to suit your needs.

You make a fair point about rationalism.
I believe Greco-Christian civilization instructs us that moral impulses (e.g. Christian impulses) are healthy so long as they are grounded in rational thought (e.g. Greek rationalism).
But what happens when a self-serving, treacherous or hostile elite (an artificial elite, totally disconnected or alien to the Western geist) infiltrates Western leadership and misleads us as to what is moral + rational?

I really don’t see the difficulty in reconciling opposition to immigration with support for some form of capitalism. One could support a version of capitalism at the scale of the nation-state. One could be in favor of flows of exports and flows of imports of goods, but oppose physical flows of labor. Similarly, being in favor of some kind of redistributive social welfare system and state role in the economy at the nation-state level does not invariably commit one to world communism.
This article is brilliant. I believe it helps to explain, however indirectly, why National Socialist Germany needed to be destroyed, and its people forever slandered.

I think that the employers’ collective interest is that immigrants should be expelled, except if they are as productive as White people, and no more destructive. But an employer’s individual interest is to cheat, and to hire illegal immigrants who will be underpaid, while his competitors will keep employing Whites on higher wages. It may even be in the collective interest of a whole branch of the economy, the hotel industry for example, to organize together and bribe the government to get the special right to import workers from the Philippines. Thus, the employers will pay lower wages, but society and the economy will suffer less than if every employer was allowed to recruit overseas.
In the same way, our collective interest is to forbid murder, but the individual interest of an amoral man is to stab passers-by to steal their wallets. In some cases, a bribe may be paid to the local crooked sheriff. Or, as another example, our collective interest is to forbid interracial marriages, but people who are isolated or who don’t care about anything may be tempted to marry someone from another race.
When people’s individual interests are opposed to the commonweal, society must organize so as to defend the commonweal. Theoretically, that is the government’s job. Unfortunately, instead of defending us, Western governments are trying to race-replace us. Those who defend White people’s interests are criminalized. Besides, the government and the media often defend the idea that individual interests must prevail over the collective interest!

This Benoist article, in common with many others of his that have been published on this site and elsewhere, is more notable, as KM and others have indicated, for what it passes over in silence than what it says. His unwillingness to name the beast—an understandable precaution for anyone who lives by the pen—is, I think, in most ways the least objectionable of his silences. Far more revealing are implicit distortions of terms and categories, distortions indicative of a mode of thinking rightly identified with the Left.
Several commenters have noted how he misrepresents capitalism. I think his most egregious distortion of capitalism is his typically leftish characterization of it as an ism, which is the last thing in the world that it is (this nonsense goes back to Marx and Engels, of course). Capital-driven markets tend to start off and develop in helter-skelter fashion, generally to the benefit of producer and consumer alike. Markets take on ideological characteristics most often when they have been or are being distorted by aspects of cronyism, whereby open or concealed governmental force is applied to give a person or persons an unfair leg up—anything from a local advantage to an industry-wide monopoly.
So far as I can detect, Benoist has never met a centralized authoritarian government he didn’t like. Whatever advantages may accrue to such a system, experience should by now have taught us all which hostile alien elite group has been most successful at manipulating this system and the mere corruptible mortals who staff it. As I noted above, in a comment that was deep-sixed in “moderation” for four hours or so, virtually complete Tribal control of France’s political structure existed for a good half-century before a similar level of domination was achieved elsewhere in the West—save for Germany, whose political centralization may have come late but came with a vengeance when come it did. Exactly my sentiments. I actually don’t buy much of anything, preferring to save. If I do buy food, it’s from a farmer’s market, and I only buy from stands that are all White. You can never know if they employ minorities, but you do need to eat, and my feeling is it’s a lot better to buy from a White farmer than some faceless corporation like Whole Foods. I don’t shop at Wal-Mart either.
The problem is that the current system is increasingly taking away options. You can still fight, but for many the Wal-Marts came and took over their entire town, leaving it the only place left to shop (for some products). The current system wants to debase everything so that you do not even remember what it used to be like to have a “normal” society. The system does not want you to have a reference point, just consumerism without honor or human value.

Why not ask whether Cuba is a nicer place to live than Haiti? Both countries are poor, the difference is that Cubans still own their country, Haitians don’t. For that matter, North Americans don’t own their countries either, we were sold out a long time ago. All Cubans can get an education, Haitians can’t. Cubans have access to quality health care, Haitians don’t.
The weather aside, Iceland and Norway are nicer places to live than Florida or California. Why? because they believe full employment is a good thing. People with disposable income, dispose of it, and are less drag on the economy than low wages and food stamps.
There are problems in all countries. There is nothing inherently superior about capitalism, which quite frankly died when the Federal Reserve was created. The Russians call the “capitalists” oligarchs, which is more accurate.
True socialism is tribal in nature, as is true of true capitalism. Local economies are strongest when everyone contributes, and no one wants to own it all.

good criticism Pierre. Somehow I thought we knew this stuff. But maybe many white nationalists have had no experience or book learning about the historic Left. Here in California, the Yellow Peril of the 1880s was a labor and farmer reaction to immigrant Chinese. Jack London was a terrific racist and defender of White Workers.
Today, Business is probably more important than Racial Democrats in the Immigration/mexers connection. AND, you can’t blame them when they have to survive the race to the bottom which is an international affair. No single businessman can go it alone and hire a white worker at , say $20/hr when his competitor can get a mexer for half or less of that amount. I have talked to contractors who say the mexers are not very good, are dumb, have to be closely supervised, and steal. They all do not like it but are forced to hire them to survive.
Thus, the fundamental problem is that a general policy must be in place so that individual businessmen are not disadvantaged. That means big crackdown, ethnic cleansing in effect, and then on to national capitalism which can protect us from internationalists. It will be some form of autarky.

What has not been considered generally is that if we do not stop the internationalization of our country, not only will Whites have been more or less dispossessed, we will have a radically unequal society, like in South America, where the dumber indians and mestizos live alongside the smarter Spanish, etc. Talk about a two-tier society, with its attendant almost total lack of social mobility and “hope” for the lower classes.
Nothing fails better than hopelessness. Hopelessness is one of the features of White resistance to our message. Good Whites do not want to hear that Blacks and Browns are hopeless. They also do not want to hear that maybe their own situation, or their kids’, is relatively hopeless because of low intelligence or temperment deficits. The Horatio Alger myth keeps hope alive for many folks.
Of course, the solution to this problem of Whites with regard to Blacks and Browns, is for them to have enough negative experience to get them to hate the nigras and mestizos. Then, we can go about constructing a harmonious hierarchy amongst ourselves in which incomes for the poorer can be partially subsidized, etc, and incentives given to smart folks to have children. And, love of our Folk can establish positive feelings.
Meaning is almost nothing, but Feelings are almost everything.
Republicans are never going to love their White Kin. One of the reasons for the success of the Dems over the last 75 years is that they preach Love. The limits of cross-racial love are becoming clear to most folks.
When our national collective experience strikes out with trying to love the blacks and browns, the natural course of events is to return Home. Home is familiarity, family, and genetic similarity.

With regard to Business’s and its love of cheap labor, which is a given, the American Labor Movement managed to keep out foreign labor, except for field labor, and that was largely a side issue for Labor since its field labor has been reduced with machinery. etc.
What the jews and race democrats did was to open the floodgates with the 1965 immigration act. Thus, arguably, the ideology of free trade, etc. found a Political ally in the race traitors and jews. Money will always be with us, but ideology can unleash it or tether it. What is happening now is a massive revolt by Whites against the whole liberal order…starting with open-borders and immigration of injuns, etc. Business will obey the laws if all firms are policed. Also, “The Reserve Army of Capital” is a silly and pretentious term. It is meaningless in the context of this article. for the innocent, the term is “reserve army of labor” which is an old marxist formulation.
However, there is a reserve army of capital in the form of a lot of Capital parked and doing nothing productive. This is an interesting phenomenon. I don’t see anyone talking about it….Too much Capital and not enough wages (for consumer demand), leads to stagnation. I do not recall Marxist economists discussing this fact. To me, it falls under the marxist category of “Internal Contradictions of Capitalism.”
The great Machine of Capitalism has to do a balancing act of investment, production, and consumption and savings to do it all over again. Pierre is quite correct to correct us with the Ism thing. Capital (ism) is not an idea, it is a natural reality, like the weather. We don’t talk about weatherism.
Nevertheless any natural phenomenon can be observed AND its laws of motion more or less determined. What we got now is a malfunctioning economic system which is wildly out of balance. Failing Demand, high unemployment, lowered wages, job offshoring…you might think that the liberal and conservative economists (both LIberals technically speaking) might try to talk about some of this stuff instead of the old tax v. stimulate near-tweedle-dee and dum(b) catechism. Bouygues was a building contractor. I think what made his success is his close cooperation with the government. In 1955, he became a technical adviser in the French “ministry for reconstruction”. Wikipedia says he was at the center of the Aranda scandal in 1972. Gabriel Aranda was a government employee who published photocopies of internal ministry documents proving corruption in the field of city-planning and construction. In 1987, Bouygues was able to buy TF1, the biggest French TV station. It makes me think that he must have been very close to the government, and very semitically correct. His son Martin is now friends with Sarkozy, and the godfather of one of his sons.
If you look up Francis Bouygues on Youtube, you find an interview he gave in 1969. At the time, more than 80% of his building firm’s workforce was immigrants, mostly from North and Black Africa.
He repeats the same thing in another interview in 1970 :
In 1975, President Giscard decided to allow family reunion in France for third-world immigrants.
Bouygues didn’t care at all that non-white immigration necessarily amounts to race-replacement. He expected the rest of society to support his point of view as the manager of a big building firm, even though the rest of society had opposite interests. These videos of Bouygues have been produced on the anti-immigration website FdeSouche.com as evidence that big employers are to blame for immigration. But I think something doesn’t make sense here.
First of all, Bouygues was already extremely rich. He didn’t need the extra money. And the government couldn’t be bought by his money. In fact, much of his fortune came from government corruption. If there was a disagreement between Bouygues and the government, he was at risk of losing his very favorable position. There was no reason the government would decide to race-replace the French to make Bouygues richer.
I think his idea of bringing in immigrant families made little sense from his position as a big employer working closely with government. It meant that the country had to pay services for the whole families, and provide for the retirement of foreign workers. It would have made more sense to keep the immigrants as unqualified labor, and to train Frenchmen to provide the supervision and expertise. Third-world immigrants would have been employed for no more than 5 years, before they went back to Africa and gave their place to someone else. I think that Bouygues must have had other motivations than money. Maybe he felt guilty exploiting immigrants. He was probably under pressure from the immigrationist lobby.

Business understands that cheap labor means cheap labor for their competitors too . It’s not like cheap labor is a clear and direct benefit to profits when all is considered .
It is like blaming the Iraq war on big oil . Yes , some big oil profited to a point , but the over all cost of war to big business was a negative effect . Spending trillions and assuming debt to fight a war that only benefits Israel is not something that is good for big business !
The anti-big business theme comes from the left and the MSM , and therefore from the culprits themselves .
Economists don’t say much about the impact of immigration on Western economies. It wouldn’t be good for their careers and the media don’t want to publish it anyway. Another problem is that economists have their views influenced by the propaganda and intimidation of the media, even though the economists are the specialists, and the journalists don’t know what they are talking about.
The same thing is true in medicine. At one time in France, there was so much propaganda by leftist journalists and gay activists about the need not to stigmatize people who are infected with the Aids virus, that the specialists became careless about their safety procedures.
The same thing is true in anthropology (Boas), in psychology (Freud), in sociology… Scientists are influenced by charlatans who enjoy the support of the media.
On VDare, I’ve read articles by Peter Brimelow about the impact of immigration on the economy. Besides being an anti-immigration economist, I think he is also an economist. He once wrote this:
“Although immigration is not beneficial in aggregate to Americans, it is beneficial to people who run factories and farms and things like that. They like it, and so they lobby for it. And, in a common phenomenon in political science, when you have a small organized group that benefits a lot from something, it can overwhelm the disorganized majority that is disadvantaged from it only slightly.”
But I think that even people like Brimelow are too timid in their rejection of the dominant theory, by government and the media, that immigration is good for the economy. I think he underestimates the economic cost of the race-replacement policy. I’m not an economist, so I’m supposed to defer to his opinion, and to A.de Benoit’s opinion. But I don’t see how people who run factories can benefit from their country becoming more and more third-worldish.
In France, I think the minimum wage applies to immigrants too. Unless the firm of Francis Bouygues hired illegal immigrants, he couldn’t pay his African employees less than his French employees. His motivation was not that he could pay lower wages to Africans. Maybe he didn’t find enough Frenchmen willing to work in the building industry for only the minimum wage, but I don’t think that can explain why he employed as many as 80% immigrants. Besides, even if they were hard-working, it is dubious that his African immigrants were more efficient than European workers.
Eventually, the rising number of unqualified immigrants living in France would bring the minimum wage down, but it required a massive number of immigrants, and the effect wasn’t immediate. The effect would only be felt after ten or twenty years. There was no immediate benefit to Bouygues each time he chose to hire an African immigrant instead of a Frenchman.
We are told that employers like immigration because they think in the short term. But the strategy of bringing wages down through mass immigration from Africa is not short term. Employers start feeling the benefit of lower wages at about the same time they start feeling the drawbacks:
- higher government taxes to subsidize the non-Whites and pay for the damage they cause.
- less prosperity for the country as a whole.

Reading up on Francis Bouygues, I think Pompadou drops that name because Bouygues was very popular as someone of modest beginnings who made it big. The secret of his success was said to be getting close to politicians. Bouygues might have been amenable to the idea of immigration but I don’t think it was a priority that he pressed on the government as Pompidou would have us believe. It’s an excuse.
