Academic Hysteria, Part III
In the previous two parts of this essay (here and here), I discussed my experiences as a faculty member at a far-left American academic institution, and how the social justice hysteria was affecting what was going on at the school. What has been occurring more recently?
This is amusing, as I have experienced truly grotesque Black females talking about how “beautiful” they are; further, one can overhear comical examples of inflated self-esteem, such as such students, who are barely passing basic coursework, talking among themselves about how much money they will make as doctors or lawyers (possibly not so far-fetched, what with affirmative action and the move away from standardized tests and objective grades and toward “holistic admissions reviews”),and how they won’t take the last names of their potential husbands, but vice versa. (If they do become professionals, then the Black male peers they fantasize as their husbands will instead be pursuing White women.)
Read this, which is very similar to some of my own experiences.
After finishing grad school, I began teaching at universities across the US. It was as a professor that I began noticing patterns in black behavior: a sense of entitlement, a lack of discipline, a bad attitude, disrespectfulness, and aggressive behavior. And the more black students a college had, the worse their behavior was. I was always reluctant to share these observations with my colleagues for fear of being called a racist. … Most blacks have an entitlement problem. They feel that they can behave in any way they want because they are black, and if you call them out, they accuse you of racism.
Black students, particularly Black females, do indeed manifest the most outrageous entitled and obnoxious behavior. They have no shame to go to the offices of faculty and scream like lunatics at the faculty, demanding to be given credit for wrong quiz and exam answers, because the faculty doesn’t “understand my point of view” (in other words, if the Black students say a wrong answer should be right, then they must be given credit for it: my truth).
These students will cheat on exams, cry racism when caught, and then brag how “I can get away with anything” when the administration inevitably backs down. They will contact faculty and demand special treatment; for example, more time to complete projects because they are “real busy.” They’ll come late for exam reviews and demand that the faculty go over all that was missed; if you balk, then you are “racist.” And if you need to do practice interviews with these students for, say, law school or medical school interviews, and/or if you have to read any personal statements, all you’ll hear is the most extremely self-obsessed rambling about race. Everything is racist, everything revolves around their single-minded obsessive focus on their racial identify and their racial grievances. The legal system is racist. The medical system is racist. Medical instruments are racist. (I kid you not; I’ve read or heard statements about “racist stethoscopes” and “racist blood pressure monitors — apparently, these devices were designed by hateful Whites with the intention of “destroying Black bodies.) Higher rates of Black incarceration are due to a racist criminal justice system. If Blacks have higher rates of certain diseases — even when objective evidence suggests those differences are due to rampant Black obesity or from racial genetic differences — that is due to “the legacy of slavery” and “stress from White racism causing Black Fatigue.” Also, if there is an attractive White female professor or teaching assistant involved, the jealous Black female students spew their venom on their poor victims. That these students are academically incompetent, cognitively deficient, and lacking in logic and common sense goes without saying. If you put a “filler” “joke” answer to round out a multiple choice question answer list, you can bet one of these students will choose it. And they’ll have a bizarre explanation for their choice. And as stated above, they’ll demand credit for their answer.
Other non-White students often mirror the entitlement and poor behavior of Black students, although typically not as consistently or to the extreme. I note that Jewish students invariably identify as minorities, at odds with the dominant White American Christian culture, often making common cause with Blacks and other non-Whites as fellow victims of hatred and discrimination. Jewish students will invent special joint Jewish-Black celebrations, such as joint Passover dinner combined with a celebration of “Black emancipation” — Jews and Blacks together celebrating their similar d history of liberation.
Considering the issue of Black (and POC, in general) entitlement and poor behavior, we can consider the Ilya Shapiro controversy. It’s not enough that the Negroes wanted Shapiro out, they had other needs as well:
At another juncture, a student demanded that the dean cover for the classes that the activists had missed as a result of the sit-in, suggesting that the move should be part of a “reparations” package for black students. She followed up by insisting that students be given a designated place on campus to cry. “Is there an office they can go to?” she asked. “I don’t know what it would look like, but if they want to cry, if they need to break down, where can they go? Because we’re at a point where students are coming out of class to go to the bathroom to cry.”
“And this is not in the future,” she added. “This is today.”
The administrators took the law student’s query seriously. “It is really, really hard to walk out of class or a meeting in tears, and you should always have a place on campus where you can go,” Dean Bailin told her. “And if you’re finding that you’re not getting the person that you want to talk to or not getting the space that you need, reach out to me anytime — anytime — and we will find you space.”
Besides censoring academic critics of affirmative action, and besides demanding a dedicated crying space, the Black students also demanded that (White) classmates be “reminded” how much they owe to Blacks and to stop critiquing Black activists:
Yet another student pressed the deans to send out an email attacking BLSA’s critics. “Something that’s important is to remind our classmates that are attacking us that they are only here because our ancestors were sold for them to be here,” she said. “And I think it’s a very important fact that is not talked about explicitly enough, because we are still being attacked. So I just would appreciate in whatever message that’s going out [to the student body], that our classmates are explicitly reminded: Do not attack the people who were sold for you to have this opportunity. . . . That needs to be something that these people are reminded of, because they continue to attack us as if it is not on our backs that they are even here.”
Of course, in reality, Blacks need Whites and not the other way around; further, it is the case that everything Blacks have “achieved” — or have been handed to them — in America has been on the backs of the long-suffering White American people, who are the economic equivalent of slaves since they must work to pay taxes that support Blacks and other People of Colors. Of particular interest is this anti-Shapiro tweet by a Black professor, Aderson Francois: aderson francois 🇭🇹 14th Amendment Baby @abfrancois Replying to @ishapiro
Mr. Shapiro, as one of your future Georgetown colleague, I am curious: is your phrase “lesser Black woman” meant to describe a particular Black woman or do you intend “lesser Black woman” to encompass the general set of Black women under consideration for the seat?
Of course, it should be “colleagues” not the grammatically incorrect “colleague.” Any halfway literate middle school student would realize that, but apparently this “professor of law,” who is a Georgetown faculty member, can’t reach a twelve year old’s standard of English proficiency.
Thus, I can ask: Mr. Francois, as one of the readers of your tweet, I am curious: are you a functionally illiterate affirmative action hack or did you intentionally set out to prove Shapiro’s criticism of affirmative action to be correct?
An anecdote comes to mind. I remember a Black male professor who came to my institution as a candidate for a position at my school. I saw this candidate walking with the “chief of diversity” with the Negro stating that he “likes what he sees” and implying that the decision whether he becomes a faculty at the institution is up to him alone (entitlement complex again). What I noticed is that this Negro’s shoes were completely untied; he was trailing the laces behind him like tails, with the loose shoes flopping around as he walked. I saw the same person a while later and the shoes were the same. I remember thinking what kind of buffoon comes to an interview and doesn’t know or doesn’t care that his laces were untied and he was flopping around all day like a retard. Fortunately, and surprisingly, this person was not hired, but he exemplifies many Negro academics — a clownish inept buffoon who is nothing more or less a creation of quotas and set asides, reeking of unjustified self-esteem and a sense of extreme entitlement. Black and other Colored students that I deal with on a regular basis exhibit the same behaviors.
Speaking of hiring, it is interesting that every time new faculty and, even more importantly, new administration, are hired at my institution, they always turn out to be hard leftists. In my last essay, I mentioned the political contribution database of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and how the data there can reveal the politics of academics. Indeed, new hires at my institution typically show up at that database, reflecting their extreme “progressive” politics. Possibly this may inform us on how leftist control of academia is maintained. It is interesting how the current crop of faculty and administration always manage to recruit and hire individuals who are exclusively on the Left. One can argue this is simply due to the law of probability; the vast majority of academics are leftists, so one would expect that even a random draw of candidates would be enriched in SJW types. There may be some truth in that, but that is hardly the full picture.
First, nowadays, many institutions require candidates to openly express a commitment to “woke” politics; indeed, many institutions require candidates to present tangible proof of how committed they are, and what they did to promote “diversity, equity, and inclusion” at their previous employment), and to present plans on how they would promote those objectives if hired for the present position being offered. But this is still not at the fundamental level by which leftist academic hegemony is maintained, as that hegemony was entrenched long before “diversity statements” became a requirement of the hiring process. No doubt I’m not the only one at my institution studying the FEC database. Would a professor with a record of donating to, say, the Trump campaign, be hired? Would they even be invited to an interview in the first place, regardless of their objective qualifications? And even if they avoided that pitfall, and the even more obvious pitfall of leaving a digital political footprint via social media and other avenues of expression, then there is the interview process itself. Even if they got through meeting with the “Dean of Diversity and Equity” — and even if we consider the time before such deans existed — the candidate has to get through the gauntlet of interviews and “informal” dinner meetings, etc. where astute interviewers will try to extract from the candidate some inkling of their political and social views. A comment dropped, a facial expression, a hesitation, anything can be a clue to disagreement with SJW politics; conversely, the candidate can demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for leftist ideas and cheerfully agree with the comments and opinions ever so “casually” dropped during conversation. And if a “dissident” somehow gets hired, they can always be weeded out via the renewal, promotion, and tenure process.
How did I get in then? I was hired long ago when the institution was much smaller and did not have the same political vetting system in place; further, I presented a very neutral persona and did not have a digital trail of political contributions or other “warning signs” that I was not one of them. I was very careful in interviews and in the “informal” dinner meetings. I went into the process with “eyes wide open,” assuming everyone I interacted with was a leftist hack looking to uncover hidden signs of “unacceptable beliefs.” And, as stated, the vetting was not as well organized as it is today; I slipped through the cracks. But my advancement has been negatively affected by not being a supporter of the leftist agenda. Very likely, in today’s hysterical climate, I would not be hired. Currently, as I stated above, it is not sufficient to merely avoid what is perceived as “negative beliefs” but need to embrace, and show evidence for, “progressive” politics.
And let us consider the flip side of this. Even if a rightist does somehow get in and survives the rough-and-tumble of academic politics in which the word ‘politics’ means far more than the usual beyond petty academic infighting to include rigid adherence to progressive orthodoxy, they will likely find the environment unpleasant and unwelcoming, and may voluntarily leave academia for other occupations. Thus, through a variety of direct and indirect stratagems, leftist academic hegemony is maintained.

There IS a new sense of entitlement among among Blacks. They need to be answered.
I fear for the future of White people in the United States, and I fear for our country when it is ruled by certain minorities, if indeed this has not happened already.
These experiences were identical to my own, in many ways, in my place of business. I learned that the secret is to sabotage this “systemic idiocy” from within, to covertly oppose it, to undermine it, and to reinvent it, wherever possible. If we can pull up enough planking on this boat, it will sink. This is the best course of action, because it is destined to sink anyway, if it continues to be navigated in the manner in which things are now being run.

All to almost all of our problems stem from folks who are weak in visuospatial- that is, from folks who can’t make things. The war I call is the PIs vs the NPIs- Productive intellectuals vs non-productive intellectuals. This war can be seen at university- the engineering department, or any department that uses math, is at war with the humanities departments. The latter have our civilization by the testicles. The Lie That Will Not Die and the Truth about Black Mass Shooters

The lie that will not die: Most mass shooters are white.
Just Google “white mass shooters,” and you will find hundreds and hundreds of stories from The Grio, Root, Salon, CNN, PBS, and Newsweek, right up to the Washington Post, with headlines likes this, from Vice: “Why are so many mass shootings committed by young white men?”
All accompanied with fairy tales like this from the Washington Post: “a consistent pattern: Young, white men with demonstrable backgrounds of mental instability or violence against women taking the lives of as many people as possible.”
At least one legacy media outfit figured out, however painful it was to report (and bury in the middle of the jump), that three quarters of mass shooters are black. That was the New York Times.
You read that right: mass shootings are a black thing. And we find them almost every day. Often more than one. In Philadelphia alone, they report one every eleven days.
Let’s take a look at the headlines (with links) from a nine-day period ending Memorial Day, May 27. One at a time, most recent day first, until we reach the 26th mass shooting from a black person.
Starting in Trenton, New Jersey.
1. “1 killed, 5 wounded as gunfire erupts in Trenton again days after 10 were hurt in shooting outside city bar.”
2. As the previous headline indicates, don’t confuse that mass shooting with “Police Confirm Nine Injuries in Trenton Shooting Incident” from Friday, the 25th of May.
3. Police: “Multiple people shot, including boy, in Southeast DC.” Multiple equals five.
4/5. “Six people, including teenagers shot in two separate incidents in Brooklyn.” A twofer: three each.
6. “Police: 1 dead, 2 injured after shooting in downtown St. Louis.”
7. “Three people shot in South Merced neighborhood.”
Let’s check out the headlines and links from May 26. Spoiler alert: not a white person in sight.
8. “1 Dead, 3 Wounded After Shootout at Fort Lauderdale Parking Garage.” Not to worry — his mom says he was acting in self-defense.
9. “2 dead, 3 wounded after gunfire erupts in Little Italy.” Not too many Italians left in Little Italy.
10. “5 people shot, 3 arrested at Brunswick.” This is not even the worst one in Virginia last weekend. So hold on.
11. “Four shot, one dead in Stockton.” Some locals call Stockton the New Chicago.
12. Transgender woman, 2 men killed in Detroit shooting. Not the first recent murder of a transgender. Not polite to notice that those killers are black as well.
13. Quadruple shooting in SE Baltimore Saturday night. This happened the same night 100 black people rampaged through Baltimore’s tourist Mecca, the Inner Harbor. They were assaulting, stealing, attacking police in what none dare call a good old-fashioned race riot. Again.
Compared to the big riot of 2016, where 120 policemen were sent to the hospital after being on the wrong end of bottles and bricks and other violence at the hands of thousands of black people, it is easier to understand why local media were so eager to brush it off as just a few kids blowing off some steam.
14. “3 Shot, Injured Overnight in North Minneapolis.” North Minneapolis is a Nice-Free Zone.
So far, nary a crazed MAGA hat–wearing Caucasian to be found. Let’s continue to May 25.
15. “3 wounded, including 17-year-old girl, in Chicago drive-by shooting.”
16. “Suspect wanted in connection with Port Gibson graduation party shooting that left 1 dead and 2 injured.” Not the first mass shooting at a black graduation party this month.
17. “3 shot early Saturday near canal walk in Downtown Indianapolis.” The record for mass shootings there is 8, achieved while the Black Expo was in full swing.
18. “One dead, nine injured after shooting at ‘large party’ in Chesapeake.” This was the big enchilada in Virginia this week, near Norfolk. Lots of video of the party at one of two videos I made about the recent mass shootings. Lots of music about guns, drugs, money, b——, and murder, if that’s your thing.
19. “1 dead, 2 injured after shooting at popular lounge in Midtown” Atlanta. You are probably going to the wrong lounges.

24. “Another weekend, another mass shooting. Thirteen have been shot in 2 violent episodes this spring.” The latest one involved “1 dead, five hurt in Winston-Salem shooting late Saturday; man killed was young hip hop artist.” Both in Winston-Salem.
25. “3 people shot in Mount Hope.” This came in front of the headquarters for a San Diego black motorcycle club. Yes, they have them. Yes, they are no strangers to hyper-violence.
26. Let’s finish up back in D.C. “1 dead, 2 hospitalized in shooting.”
There were also mass shootings in Denver (Hispanic shooter), Miami (unidentified so far) and Central Florida, (where it just might be a white guy who shot a few people at a memorial. Waiting…), and downtown Kansas City (waiting).
Maybe some white guys in polo shirts and tiki torches will show up in the incident reports. Maybe not.

Outbreak of Colorblindness Strikes Chicago Reporters

Chicago picked a strange time to go all colorblind on us. The occasion was the occasional riot in one of America’s premier high-end shopping districts: the Magnificent Mile.
Wednesday night, 500 people rampaged through downtown looting, destroying property, attacking white people, defying police, stopping traffic, threatening tourists, and created lots of mayhem and chaos.
All on video. Some of which you can find here.
If local media is to be believed, race had nothing to do with the fact that every single one of the rioters was black.
Strange behavior from a local media that is obsessed with race, especially white racism and black victimization. Every day, it is easy to find stories in Chicago about black schools, black politicians, black businesses, black neighborhoods, black income, black funeral homes, black mayors, black police chiefs, black district attorneys, black football players, black baseball players, black churches, black music, black television, black movies, black actors (wassup Jussie!!!), black history, black community activists, black nationalists and of course all the things that white people do to constantly aggravate them and force them into crime and violence wildly out of proportion.
Sorry about that. My check for reparations is in the mail.
This colorblindness may not be a permanent affliction, but it is at least the third time this year local media have come down with it.
Last Saturday night, a couple of hundred of the fellas and lovely ladies did pretty much the same thing in the same place.
Ditto a few weeks before that.
To their credit, at least the Second City Cop blog and CWBChicago.com let us know about the violence and the official indifference to it. But even these usually stalwart sources of good info about Chicago just could not bring themselves to mention that, for at least the third time this year, Chicago had a good old-fashioned race riot.
The Fox affiliate did not even report the violence: They only real thing that happened was a large police presence “triggered,” apparently, for no reason whatsoever except for “monitoring.”
At least the NBC affiliate tried: Their crew said a large number of police where there for “crowd control,” and their ace reporter actually found an actual rioter to speak with. Though there is no video record of it, she said the “teen” told her they were down there doing something or other because they do not have anything else to do. Or anywhere else to do it.
Someone please notify the Pulitzer people.
Meanwhile, the Chicago captain in charge of explaining it all to us said the whole thing was about “socioeconomic” conditions. And for that, we need a higher authority for some deeper understanding. Who better than the cast of West Side Story and their 1961 tribute to socioeconomic conditions:

It’s just our bringin’ up – me
That gets us outta hand
Our mothers all are junkies
Our fathers all are drunks

This is probably a better analysis than the one tendered by the former police superintendent Gary McCarthy, who told a black radio audience that black violence in Chicago was caused by the racist “Pilgrims.”
But not quite as good as the explanation from the former head of the local teachers’ union, Karen Lewis, who told us Chicago “belongs” to black people. Not “rich white people.”
Whoever is causing it, black mob violence and denial in Chicago is thoroughly documented in good ol’ Colin’s scintillating bestseller White Girl Bleed a Lot. Not that I was the only one who wondered about this periodic burst of colorblindness. Lots of people in Chicago were asking about it, just none who work for Chicago media.
The Chicago Tribune’s Steve Chapman took a whack a few years ago at explaining it — not the black violence but the required colorblindness — after he got sick of all the readers wanting to know if he had sought treatment for his optical deficiencies.
“There are good reason not to identify the attackers by race,” opined Mr. Chapman. “It’s the newspaper’s policy not to mention race in a story, whether about crime or anything else, unless it has some clear relevance to the topic. My question to readers accusing us of political correctness is: Why do you care so much about the attacker’s race? If you fear or dislike blacks, I suppose it would confirm your prejudice. But otherwise it tells you nothing useful.”
This is worse that it appears. Not only are they experiencing periodic colorblindness, but these same folks are apparently also afflicted with acute amnesia.

Black Violence: The Terror That Dare Not Speak Its Name

Even stranger than Don Lemon’s fairy tale that white people are responsible for violent terrorism in this country, is the fact that no national conservative media figures refuted him.
A shame, because it is so easily done. And so important to do.
Lemon concocted his claim in front of CNN’s Cuomo the Lesser, who stared dumbstruck as his colleague sketched his vision of white supremacists running amok with terror and violence in their wake.
Cuomo has made a career of shutting up and nodding his head when black people like D. L. Hughley come on his show and insist that white violence against black people is wildly out of proportion. A lie.
The following day, Lemon challenged his angry critics to check the numbers: White terror is eight times greater than other racial terror.
In response, all that we heard from conservative media was fake outrage. Calls for his firing. Demands for a retraction. But not much in the way of using facts to show that Lemon was wrong. Dangerously wrong.
Not that many people expected much else from most conservative pundits. These are the same people who cower in front of “It’s okay to be white” signs.
Well, it’s not okay to be white. That is Lemon’s stock in trade. And he and others ply it so well that most cannot see or even declare the obvious: That over the last five years, black mob violence in America has been — by far — the greatest source of domestic terror.
Shall we review a few: How about before, during and after the trial of George Zimmerman for the killing of St. Trayvon of Sanford. You remember him: He’s the guy who could have been President Obama’s son.
Instead, he became a petty burglar, a small time violent crook, whose death inspired large-scale black violence in Los Angeles, Oakland, Baltimore, Grand Rapids, Toledo, Gainesville, Mobile, Chicago, and on and on and on. All aided and abetted by Lemon et al at CNN.

But Trayvon was just a warm-up for the real display of black terror in America. That happened in the summer of 2014 in a suburb of St. Louis called Ferguson. There, a cop shot a 6’5 “well-muscled” black man named Michael Brown, after Brown tried to take the cop’s gun, then refused to stand down as he prepared to charge the officer.
After days and days of looting, gunfire, molotov cocktails, property destruction, attacks on police, and yes, death, the Michael Brown riots continued on a low burn around the rest of the country.
It became the beginning of a mantra, Trayvon, Michael Brown. No justice. No peace. No racist police.
It even sparked the growth of a national movement: Black Lives Matter. You remember them: “What do we want? Dead cops. When do we want them? Now.”
In Baltimore, soon after, a drug dealer named Freddie Grey died in police custody. Yes, there were riots. Yes, the black people of Baltimore burned and looted in an ecstatic frenzy for days.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake held a news conference where she bragged she was giving the rioters “space to destroy.” The next day, she denied saying it, even after being confronted saying it on video.
Over 100 police were injured in those riots. Many after city officials “abandoned” them by refusing to send support when they were under attack from the black people.
This is all on video. Easy to find.
These riots are like dominoes: If you remember one, chances you, you remember the rest. In Milwaukee, a black cop shot a black man. Riots. Burning. Destruction. You know the drill: Everyone was having a good time by the light of a burning gas station.
In Charlotte, black people terrorized the town after cops shot another black criminal in the commission of yet another crime. They did not like that.
Around the country, every day, police are subject to slurs, taunts, threats, violence, and even murder from black people who just are not that into white people.
These examples might not meet the standards of Don Lemon’s phony terror test. But the victims have not forgotten the enormous terror in this country. And how it continues today in different forms.
On Halloween, hundreds of black people rampaged through Hyde Park in Chicago — home to Barack Obama, Bill Ayers, and Louis Farrakhan — destroying property, defying police, setting fires.
Watch any of the videos, then try to tell the neighbors they are not being terrorized. But no one was arrested, so it never happened. Except on video.
In South Jersey, two white kids were hospitalized with serious head injuries they received after they refused to give their trick or treat candy to the 10-20 black people who demanded it.
Think that’s not an act of terror just because the black people did not leave a thank you note? Or a sign that said ‘Vote for Maxine?’ Or a demand for more free stuff? Guess again.
In Dallas, five cops were killed during a Black Lives Matter parade. Afterward, black people looted a 7-11 then stuck around under the gaze of local police, dancing — yes, dancing — with joy, celebrating the carnage. At their funeral, President Obama figured it all out: the shooting of the five police was all about white racism.
“You know it,” he urged the crowd to acknowledge.
This is a very long list of black violence and denial, deceit and delusion from reporters and public officials.

From the big cities to small suburban enclaves, black terrorism is real. And when stunned residents plead with city officials for help, all they get are weak admonitions about keeping their head on a swivel and don’t forget — calling the cops on black criminals is a very bad thing to do.
Reporters like Lemon insist that absent a handwritten confession, or a sign, or a recorded audio and video, black mob violence in America must be considered “random” and not an act of terror.
But we have something better than notes and idiots spouting hateful slogans: We have patterns. And how they are proof of bias. Just ask former district attorney and current U.S. senator from the great state of Rhode Island, Sheldon Whitehouse.
“When is pattern evidence of bias?” asked the liberal Senator Whitehouse at a recent hearing. “In court, pattern is evidence of bias all the time. Evidence on which juries and trial judges rely to show discriminatory intent. To show a common scheme. To show bias.”
Black on white bias and hostility plus violence equals terror. We see it every day, no matter how often Don Lemon tries to deny it: Black violence is the terror that dare not speak its name.

BART Officials Hide Videos of Black Mob Violence

Eureka! Look no more for the Rosetta Stone, the smoking gun, the Holy Grail of how reporters and public officials are in denial, deceit, and delusion about black criminality so wildly out of proportion.
We found it. And it is a doozy: Transit officials in the San Francisco area do not release videos of black criminality because they do not want to make the black kids angry.
Yes, they say that.
This discovery comes courtesy of the Bay Area Rapid Transit system. For years, passengers and former passengers complained about black violence, harassment, threats, robberies and even murder on BART. Especially aboard the trains going to and from the east bay destinations of Oakland, Richmond, etc.
In April, a large group of black people swarmed through a BART train, beating the hell out of — then robbing — seven passengers. Similar but smaller events have happened at least three times since then. You can see my story on that here on YouTube.
After every episode of violence, reporters and passengers wait for BART to release the videos from the cameras scattered around the stations and inside the cars. But it never happens. All because BART staff fears the videos would cast black people in a bad light, said BART honcho Kerry Hamill in a memo to a BART director:
…disproportionate elevation of crimes on transit interfaces with local media in such a way to unfairly affect and characterize riders of color, leading to sweeping generalizations in media reports and a high level of racially insensitive commentary directed toward the District through our social media channels, email, and call centers.
This got the full attention of BART director Debora Allen of Contra Costa. She wanted to know what in the world skin color has to do with releasing videos — public documents — that might help people avoid and stop violent crime on the trains.
This is where it gets good. More from Hamill:
The social media reaction to the original Coliseum incident in April was startling in the level of racial profiling that it prompted. The General Manager got a call about the incident on her voicemail that used racist and incendiary language that made my mouth drop.
Many posts used patently offensive language that often involved racial slurs (no news articles ever referenced the race of the offenders yet some members of the public leapt to their own conclusions).
When I did a story and a video about it, reporting the black mob violence on the train, I based my reporting on what cops and witnesses told me. Nobody was leaping to any conclusions, but I did state the obvious: that BART was hiding the quantity and quality of black violence on their trains. Back to Hamill:
Some telephone calls and posts even involved vague threats. The media has proven its tendency to highlight material in the most inflammatory way possible.
As a former journalist, I can cite for you a number of bias studies that have pointed out media bias and the damaging consequences of it.
The firestorm of criticism in the wake of the Oscar Grant killing centered around a belief that BART police were racially biased. If we were to regularly feed the news media video of crimes on our system that involve minority suspects, particularly when they are minors, we would certainly face questions as to why we were sensationalizing relatively minor crimes and perpetuating false stereotypes in the process.
I have worked in or with media since the 1980’s. My view is that the media’s real interest in the videos of youth phone snatching incidents isn’t the desire for transparency but rather the pursuit of ratings.
They know that video of these events will drive clicks to their websites and viewers to their programs because people are motivated by fear.
People can be fully informed about crimes that occur on our system without being shown images that will inflame some members of the public and paint the transit agency in a poor and ultimately misleading light.
Even though Kerry Hamill puts the blame on “minorities,” that is not really true either. No one is saying large groups of Asian people, or Amish people, or Eskimos, or even Hispanics are creating violence and crime on BART.
It’s a Black Thing. That’s one minority.
BART found that out the hard way in 2015 when a bay area newspaper delved into data generated by a new BART app to report crime and misbehavior.
About 70 percent of the people reported were black. Which, according to the East Bay Express, is proof positive the app was racist, because how could anyone imagine black people break the law more than white people or Asian people?
Surely anyone who has seen the movie Fruitvale Station, based on the killing of Oscar Grant at a BART station, knows that white cops are always picking on black people for no reason what so ever; and that is also why so many black people are arrested, convicted, sent to prison, released and from prison, and return to prison in numbers that are so wildly out of proportion.
Everyone knows that, right?
Not the folks in the Bay area, sayeth the East Bay Express:
The sheer number of complaints against Blacks is hugely disproportionate to BART’s passenger demographics.
According to a 2008 survey conducted by BART, only 10 percent of the transit system’s daily customers are Black, whereas 48 percent are white, 24 percent are Asian American, and 20 percent are Latino.
Of the 198 alerts sent to BART police that identified a person’s race or ethnicity, only 37 targeted whites as offenders, just 19 percent of the total.
To recap, black people are 10 percent of the riders but 68 percent of the complaints. White people are 48 percent of the riders, and 19 percent of the complaints. And 100 percent of the people involved in the last four episodes of violence. All this in one of America’s safest spaces of racial justice and harmony.
In the meantime, Hamill’s bosses are backing away from her comments about hiding black violence. They do not care for the inartful way Hamill expressed herself.
But they are not releasing the videos either.

moneytalks, your distain for Christianity aside, I will agree that there are strains of this passivity and self-annihilation that run through Protestantism and Catholicism—especially since the latter has gone headlong into mimicking the former in form. But there must be some reason that the external forces want to destroy Christianity. Is it really just that Christianity is a labelling marker for Europeans tagging them for eventual destruction like some immunological process of identification and neutralization? Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals’ also comes to mind: isolation of the target being one of the steps.
In my case, my Catholicism allowed me to filter signal from noise and search-image fit the hostile predators in my environment. It also gave me the psychological fortitude with which to weather the blistering blasts in academia, government and in independent life as the mobbers continued their attempts into my private life. I found in the Catholic tradition, along with my European pride, plenty of tools for a courageous resistance. That is merely my counter offering to those open to hearing it.

My [ disdain ] for Christianity does not extend to JC , whether he is a real deity or not , and is mostly restricted to when it became in modern times so pragmaticly corrupted that it is now mostly , with few exceptions , existentially dysfunctional to most White Christian cultures . NT theology — not Christian pragmatism upto about 1850 — has always been an existential disaster for White racial preservation — in retrospect . Solutions I.
Now, working toward solutions, let’s take one more moment or two at further analysis in search for a successful strategy.
First, I claim that rejection of a biological and evolutionary understanding of events is a serious, self-imposed impediment. Aristotle and St. Thomas were both able to accomplish this and it further enabled them to see fundamental and powerful, organic “tricks” to how Nature works. I find myself applying patterns of embryological growth to how I efficiently do home carpentry. Coming to realize how my having taught cadaver anatomy has impacted all of my life activities for the better makes me only wish that I could learn these principles even better—or had started when younger.
As for the evolutionary perspectives, those enchanted with a childish form of Genesis-storybook idolatry leave themselves like lambs to be slaughtered, and not in any heroic, productive or Christlike manner. One ought to at least have the appreciation for the fact that a practical understanding of evolutionally processes imbues the Left’s and the GloboGark’s thinking and that it does have a power (misused as it may be).
In fact, so detrimental to efficacy was the Creation-Evolutionist debate to politics and to metapolitics (not to mention just plain reasoning), that I am convinced that pernicious outside forces–mainly through the publishing industry–promoted this wasteful battle of the midgets.
I am both a Catholic and an evolutionary biologist. There are ways to handle the language and verities of Scripture, as well as that of an evolutionary attitude in hypothesizing, that adjusts to one’s intellect, experience and occupational demands.
Understanding evolutionary mechanisms correctly informs every aspect of international, cultural, social and even office politics. Politics IS about sex and reproduction, it IS about predator-prey relations, it IS about occupying niches, economics is a sophisticated branch of ecology, and so on.
And none of this for me denies me the opportunity of overlaying, concurrently, the metaphysical realities of an aristo-thomistic, Christian world view and eschatology.

Tj, it would seem that you came to a conclusion regarding the Nazarean and the Stagirite. Picking one versus the other, as you seem to propose, is a falsely posed choice.
Second, a huge problem has been the failure of Europeans to respect, foster and promote the intellectual life. (This is an old crank of mine which I guess that perhaps the moderator may be tired of hearing.) One can detect signs of this malady when one reads or hears disparagement of academic and intellectualism as being inherently bad and nothing more than a tool of the Left.
Well, it HAS become this way as the present author of this trilogy of articles has ably described. But the problem as characterized by the clumsy, broad-brush commentary by various readers is not helpful—in fact it is contributory.
White Europeans have been guilty of abdicating control and influence of, and in, the academy and other institutions in the same manner that Whites have fled the cities for the suburbs. Retreat as a consistent strategy cannot win a war.
I will, again, give the criticism by moneytalks some partial recognition for explanatory power. But the Christianity that Europeans captured, enhanced and created for themselves (contrary to his view of it being a process solely of ideological subjugation) has in it the potential of fending of diabolical temptations to submit to parasitic domination.
I think Kevin MacDonald’s analysis of the evo-psych factors such as ecological pressures for independence and moral trustworthiness have gone a long way in helping me think in fruitful ways about this.
It might be worthwhile to explore the role that diverting higher-IQ individuals into the non-reproductive priesthood and religious orders played once the hollowing out of Western culture began. Thus, what was sustainable and even beneficial during a period of Western equilibrium, might have become anti-sustainable as the decline was imposed. Describing this decline was importantly contributed to by Dr. E. Michael Jones.
Since IQ is a major feature of a culture, we need to come to terms with it. We need to find a way to establish and recognize the dignity of individuals and their roles in protecting and contributing to the flourishing of their own people first so that we can also allow higher-IQ members of the group to contribute to the group as a whole.
A fiend yesterday relayed a story of how an academic colleague of his described a situation where a car had crashed into a pole outside of her house in the early morning hours. Before she left for work–as I understood events–power and telephone crews were on scene beginning the cleanup. By the time she returned home from work that day, a new pole was in place and had been completely wired up. It was as if nothing had happened. She contrasted this with the experiences her father told working in Africa.
I could add to this tale my own experiences in a Caribbean nation waiting for a document at a government office. Between my wife and I and a courier to whom we resorted, it took five days and twenty-four hours of standing in line, in the sun, to queue up for the uncertain hope of being served. Five cheap laptops could have solved the problem. As a friend who lived and worked in Mexico and I agreed in conversation, it is all about IQ. These places have adapted to a generally lower level of IQ among its population.
But White Europeans have not done well, particularly in America, of respecting academic careers and intellectuals. To repeat, these have become associated with a hostile class. But my response to this is to not cede this ground to one’s opponents or enemies.
There are practical ways of tackling this. Deliberately turning the dial down on sports fever would help. Do not get me wrong. Playing baseball was a confidence builder for me and it helped me to bond effectively with my former, ballplaying father. But in the U.S., sports and spectatorship, I believe, has served to politically and intellectually castrate the men. I have even read communist literature advocating for even further encouragement of sports as a means of burying the American male.
Our public libraries have been gutted of good books. The library system has been chronicled to have been taken over by Leftist and homosexual infiltrators and influences. The use of an inappropriately applied principle of “market-based acquisitions” has resulted in the throwing away of classics, math and science books and reference works for pure, hypersexualized teen junk, neurotic self-help trash and vain, fictional works of unedifying distraction (soft porn).
New movements of independent libraries have to be initiated and funded. No, you can use that cash pot for something like this rather than “retiring” to some resort area to self-indulge with a bunch of geriatric, arrested adolescents until you are carted off to the morgue.
If I run into another female who tells me that she is a special-education educator I am going to go insane. Advanced courses and opportunities for the bright students have been stigmatized and eliminated. This needs to be reversed.
Reach out to students in neighboring colleges and universities. Ask interested professors their if they could help. This is not to brag, because I could have done much more perhaps, but as an idea that you can improve upon, here is an example of an interview that I did with a student representative of a beleaguered group of students:

Build your own home library. Books from old bookstores need to be rescued from being memory holed. Read them rather than turning on the TV. Share them. Pass them on to a young person starting out in an academic profession if you believe they will cherish them and make good use of them.
Patronize young scholars. Start essay contests for high school students. Establish dinner-discussion clubs and various societies.
Conservatives have an awful habit of being disdainful of the intellectual pursuits. Young people are steered away from careers such as–perhaps–paleontology or botany and towards “practical” things like business and law. (”

Everyone has an intellect that can be directed and developed, as he or she sees fit, towards an end that is both useful and interesting. The intellectual possesses inherent as well as external goods. It is part of flourishing. Such attention to the mind will impact the selective activity of women for men. Such activity will empower White Europeans again.
The big intellectual battle is between collectivism and individualism .

True racism (as opposed to simple bigotry) is the best guarantee for diversity and preservation of one’s own kind. This applies to all races, not just Whites.

Perhaps the “lesser” wording of Shapiro’s original tweet was due to him “shooting” it off in “anger.” Well, we all “make mistakes.” Therefore, the snide response of Francois was unfair and not very collegial. Was Francois perhaps over sensitive to due perceptions that his own career advancement was due to the same affirmative action that Shapiro objects to? Was Francois a “lesser” candidate for his current position? Did he go to the interview with his shoelaces tied?
The experiences of this professor with Blacks serves as more proof that Blacks need to be contained and kept away from White society. The Blacks he encountered were the so-called ‘good’ and ‘smart’ Blacks, the kind that Whites naively imagine are ‘just like us.’ Yet the truth is that the greater number of Blacks are dumber than a bag of hammers, and they possess strong proclivities toward violence and crime which all the education and government ‘programs’ can never change.
If Whites are foolish enough to allow Blacks in their countries, they at least need to monitor them closely and keep them contained as well as separated from civilized society. There needs to be swift and severe punishment for their crimes, particularly the violent ones.
Blacks should have never been given the right to vote. Only a gullible nation gives voting rights to a race of dysfunctional misfits who are notoriously irresponsible. What sinister virus has crawled into the brains of Whites so as to deceive them into believing that giving voting rights to a primitive and low intelligence race of knuckle-draggers would work out well for Whites and their nations? Pure insanity!
Failure to be keep Blacks contained inevitably leads to every major American city looking no different than Black-infested Detroit, Brimingham, South-Side Chicago, Oakland, New York City, and just as dangerous too.
Every attempt to excuse Blacks and justify their conduct and incivility all fails when one considers the enormous amount of financial aid, preferential race policies, free education, and endless opportunities to advance themselves available just for the asking. Even with all that, they still hate Whites and blame us for all their woes.
Blacks will never be satisfied, and Whites need to stop caring about them. Stop all the ‘aid,’ the ‘helping,’ the do-goodery, and especially the ‘virtue signaling’ for a completely worthless people.
But Whites will not do this anytime soon. They’re too ‘lost in the sauce’ of multicultural brainwashing. Blacks and other hostile racial groups, therefore, will do it for us. By means of ‘diversity beatdowns’ and the ‘knockout game,’ Blacks will force Whites to wake up from their slumber and see racial realities for the first time in their lives. This is, apparently, what it takes to awaken our people.
Yet even then, many Whites will refuse to advocate on behalf of their own racial and cultural interests because the deception runs too deep among them. The good news is that the greater number of Whites are starting to throw off the shackles of the racial ‘equality’ cult that has ensnared them for so long.
The country was set up as a White country [see Naturalization Act of 1790]. Clearly non-Whites do not have the right to vote.

That first paragraph of yours is loaded with truth and good sense. All of it bolsters the prescriptive part–“blacks need to be contained and kept away from White society.”

I asked where you stand on abortion, which blacks use as birth control—far more than other groups do, indeed about five times as often as Whites do. Roe vs. Wade has filtered 20 million of them out of the pipeline, offsetting their higher pregnancy rate. If abortion is eliminated, we can expect a sharp rise in their numbers–especially the numbers of the more troublous and unintelligent among them, since women who have the most abortions tend to be more troubled, less self-controlled and less intelligent, as are the males who impregnate them.
But White Christian Conservatives would stop blacks’ freely keeping down their own numbers—an inadvertent service that blacks do us, without risk or effort on our part. I don’t support in principle abortion as a form of contraception at all, at least not in the way it has been legislated since the Roe-V-Wade decision (although in cases where the mother’s life is at serious risk, I am not opposed to it). No sane nation permits the slaughter of its babies in the womb. The absolute moral degradation of our once great nation is even more evident now because both PARTIAL-birth abortions and AFTER-birth abortions are legally permitted.
Yet, at the same time, I recognize that had all those Black babies not been aborted, our nation would have an infinitely greater problem of violent Black crime. Our welfare dependents would have quad-tripled, and our largest cities would be even more unlivable than they already are.
So, while I don’t necessarily rejoice at Black babies being aborted, I also realize the national consequences if they weren’t and the sort of outcomes that Whites would have to face. It is perhaps a necessary evil, and it demonstrates how screwed up things become when Whites embrace the ‘racial equality’ lies. I agree that Black abortions are indeed an “inadvertent service that blacks do us.”
Many Christians of course would not agree with me. But this doesn’t stop me because I believe it is the truth – though it is admittedly a ‘hard truth.’ I also know that most American Christians are not racially conscious because they too have been badly propagandized by today’s ‘diversity’ cult. When I was in the education industry long ago, someone turned up, a diversity hire before the term was invented. We guessed before we saw him that he was going to be black. We were right. His background, his experience meant that he was just able to teach the technology. Since he had the job it was assumed that he had what it took to cope with changes in the course work but he did not. The result was stress and sick leave. When his absences had accumulated there was a pay cut, which hurt. Doing the reading, the research to keep abreast of the subject was beyond him. Sad for him and not good for the largely black student body. It is probably worse now.

Decades ago I went with a lady who is a student at a prestigious medical school. We were walking on the beach and all of a sudden it appeared that she nearly had a breakdown. As we sat on the stand, she let it all out,. She was speaking of affirmative action and the medical students who took the places those more intelligent. She affirmed that most of them were more intelligent than most AfroAms, however, they just simply weren’t up to par and this really bothered her. It was not just a question of IQ, but also of behavior.
I lived in Europe for several years and labored in research and most of my friends were academics. In fact, I could’ve easily joined a university staff, but life was too good to me. I had to leave due to a revolution – I came to the USA. After spending a year riding around the country exploring on a motorcycle it was time to think of a home and bring the family over. A child was finishing grammar school and it had been a good idea to let him learn to read and write adequately in another language.
Here, I was offered a job at a medium sized community college. By then my best friend was a major politician. He had been the mayor of a city and was buddy to the governor. Prior to that I had been sent notices that I was overqualified for some positions in academia.
Nevertheless, I didn’t wanna break my ass, all I wanted was an above average salary a little home in a peaceful community. It was here that I discovered the reality of what I have been told by European professors who had taught in schools around the USA.
One had been astounded at their definitions of how leftism was encroaching upon American academia. It was soon discovered they had been completely honest and it was worse than I could have imagined.
At a lunch, just before nearly being hired at a decent college, a very close friend told me that all teaching had to from the mindset of the left. Otherwise, I’d -under some pretext, be removed. I knew the task would be too difficult and declined. Another friend got the position. Unfortunately, he was removed a few years later.
So, what’s the future of American academia? Well, today we have seen what cyberspace is doing in teaching. Thus, down the road college buildings will shut down. Those facilities will become utilized by businesses and also other various adventures.
Universities will become more and more filled with those having IQs under 100 and possessing numerous behavior impairments. This is simply a fact.
Other than a few professions, such as those in the medical field, people will be learning away from what you are now seeing. It’ll be a long sad road, with lots of suffering. Unfortunately, along the way, lot of majorityites will go down the drain due to the anti-majority teaching. BTW, I didn’t see the first sections of this piece, but the loan factors should be included in this discussion.
Lastly, the author of this piece is correct about background ability; most don’t have much. For fun, I’d occasionally lecture. Being in “edukashonal” settings it was soon discovered that levels had gone down. University students writing assignments were unable to perform at the ability of a sixth grader.
Bottom Line: Students no longer have to speak a foreign language, do math or be able to compose a dissertation. Today the once valued sheep skin has little value.
One last thing, a side issue. I agree with the latest political- “edukashon” protocol that’s indicating math and reading should be dropped from regular school requirements. Why induce turmoil requiring what most simply cannot do. This does not imply that all should be put into this category.

Certainly parents have some responsibility. How could white parents actually pay for this kind of ‘education’ for their children? Are they ignorant of the curriculum? We are seeing a strong exodus from such toxic education and the rise of home-schooling and Christian charter and other alternative schooling. The big question is: How will students educated in these institutions outside the ‘woke’ madness fare when they go to get jobs and build careers? Do we need an entirely separate parallel society for them? Some are considering it.
Isn’t this vacuum of academic seriousness a golden entrepreneurial opportunity? There are many young people who are not woke, but also don’t want to study STEM (I went to a rigorous university – then liberal, but not yet woke – and wanted to learn, but mainly humanistic subjects). Surely, if someone started a bare-bones but real college focusing solely on unwoke academic instruction (no sports teams with expensive athletic accoutrements; no musical or theatrical instruction or venues; even a smaller sized library {which would restrict the scope of research papers, but who cares? plus these days, unlike in the early 80s, students have the internet and Amazon and interlibrary loan}), it could undercut more established places on tuition, and thus build up a quality academic-oriented studentry fairly rapidly. I have been mulling this idea since the 90s. I have neither the resources nor background to create something like this myself, but someone should.
It will be interesting seeing what the products of homeschooling will look like.
I hope that these students are being taught significant, analytic, pattern-detecting, problem-solving and creative skills in addition to the better historical narratives.
At Gab.com, just last weekend, I started a “group” called Parallel academies and educational affairs. (I know, it sounds as exciting as the title of a government document.) Actually, there is a lesson here. Accuracy in language CAN seem boring on first blush. One of the things that we need to do is to provide the very bright self-learners with is a place to develop their skills and to detoxify from the cell-phone culture and incessant stimulation. In short, they need a place where they can develop their pattern-detecting capacities. Seeing beyond the initial reaction of boredom is already a huge leap in cognitive self-control.
There are lots of empty school building in American. These should be just fine as long as you get the silly regulations of one’s back. Such building provide adequate “starter homes” for such a re-invasion of a cultural-institutional space and they
must be economical and available in a variety of “sizes and colors.” Sure, online modes offer important opportunities for particular kinds of education, and we should develop those, but learners need places where they can interact and think in person.
In the event of the loss of cabin pressure…put your oxygen mask on first before helping others. It is so important for parents to provide themselves, first, and then their children with (1) great reading and (2) some type of workshop where whatever activities suit the individuals and family-members can be engaged in. Homes need to be these kind of play/work stations, to steal terms from the frauds of the consumer-computer industry.
I try to be modest and clear-headed about what I can (embarrassingly) offer, either as a professor, administrator (yikes) or activist. My attempts at provoking ideas and activities can easily be succeeded and bettered by others. Perhaps here is one attempt where I try to hint at what to do to create receptivity (and future students) for the renewal that you are wishing for. The main points must always be to start small and to start humbly and to let things grow.
