A First Effort at Nationalist Young Adult Fiction

The No College Club

There is probably no other area in which nationalists are as far behind their opponents as in cultural influence, or what Kevin MacDonald has called the “shaping of ways of seeing.” Both the books our young people read in school and the entertainment they consume in their leisure hours is filled with messaging hostile to us, something its producers are fully conscious of and take great pride in. Much of our effort in this domain necessarily takes the form of reacting against such cultural products: protecting young people from such material where this is still possible, supplementing it with fuller information, or reinterpreting it in accordance with our own views and interests (as with Trevor Lynch’s writings on cinema). But eventually our people shall have to take up “content creation” ourselves.

Spencer J. Quinn, a regular contributor to Counter-Currents, The Occidental Observer, and The Occidental Quarterly, is rising to this challenge. He has already produced an adult novel, Charity’s Blade, and a children’s book entitled My Mirror Tells a Story. His new book under review here is apparently the first-ever effort at nationalist Young Adult fiction, meaning fiction primarily aimed at those in the 12–18 age group. While I would certainly like to see adolescents reading the book, it might be even more important at this stage for nationalists in general to take a look at it as an example of the sort of thing that needs to be done.

Plot Summary

The novel centers around Caroline Adams, an eleventh-grade student at a rapidly diversifying high school. When we meet her, she is part of a group of four girls that her mother jokingly calls “the clique,” dominated by a loud, socially aggressive Black girl named Medina.

As the novel begins, Caroline is trying to get to class through a gauntlet of leering Black boys, which she eventually manages with the aid of a likeable boy named Brock. He explains to her that he is acting as her “beard”—slang for a fake boyfriend useful for keeping troublemakers at a distance. She then slips into her American History class.

The teacher, Dr. Nogimbe, is a militant Black woman whose lessons focus heavily on slavery. She announces a new group project to be carried out by groups of four students. The topics students can choose from are the slave trade, the Underground Railroad, and plantation life.

Today’s lesson is about the Clotilda, said to be the last ship to bring slaves to the United States. As the teacher sermonizes them, the Black students become angry and some of the White girls cry or hide their faces.

Cudjo Lewis was one of the last survivors of the Clotilda,” Dr. Nogimbe continued. “We have a record of his life from the late 1920s. He was born in 1841 in a town called Banté in West Africa, in what’s now the country of Benin. His people were peaceful, civilized, and agricultural. And for the sin of being a black African, he was snatched from his home, bound head and foot, and taken onboard the Clotilda. And then they set sail for a life of slavery and misery in the United States, where all men and women are supposedly created equal.

A scruffy-looking White boy named Derek asks about the life expectancy in Africa. Cudjo Lewis lived to 95 in America, he points out, whereas the life expectancy in today’s Benin is only 61 (and was probably lower in Lewis’s own day). So in some ways, Blacks did better under slavery in the US than in their native Africa. Furthermore, Lewis was enslaved by fellow Blacks, not by Whites. Derek knows this because, unlike most of his classmates, he has actually read the assigned book.

Dr. Nogimbe does not respond well to his remarks: he is sent to the principal’s office amid hoots of “racist” and “Nazi.” But Caroline knows Derek is correct about Blacks selling other Blacks as slaves, because she too has actually read the assignment. Having lunch with “the clique” that day, she makes this point, but the response from the Black girl Malik is no more gracious than Dr. Nogimbe’s had been in class: she gets up and demonstratively walks away from the now “racist” Caroline, followed meekly by the others. This draws the attention of the entire lunchroom, and Caroline is soon fighting back tears.

Rather than sit alone, Caroline seeks refuge with a nerdy, bookish girl named Rose whom she had previously looked down upon, but who seemed to have been enjoying the spectacle of Derek’s defiance in class earlier. Rose turns out to have read the assigned text as well, so she knew the point that had now got both Derek and now Caroline into trouble was perfectly true. Caroline is grateful for the moral support.

Soon Brock, Caroline’s “beard” from earlier, sits down with them and asks Caroline to tell him what had happened with Derek in class, which has by now led to swirling, school-wide rumors. Brock had seen the aftermath: Derek nearly got expelled for “educational disruption” when he refused to apologize to the teacher for telling the truth about what was stated in the book.

[The Principal] told him straight: One more screwup and he’s out.”

Caroline fell back in her chair, shocked. “Then he’s not going to college.”

“He won’t be able to get a job anywhere,” Rose added. “Not a real one.”

“He’ll be called a Nazi or white supremacist, and that will be that,” Brock said. “It’ll be on his record. Military won’t take him. Law enforcement, forget about it. It will be really hard for him.”

“That’s so unfair.”

Caroline shook her head. “It’s evil.”

“And it could happen to any of us as well,” Brock said.

Caroline notices that Brock seems to be ignoring Rose. When she points this out, his response is to pick up an apple from Rose’s tray and take a large bite out of it. He also calls her the “goofball queen.” Later, when they are alone, an outraged Caroline asks Brock why he dislikes Rose so much. Brock explains that he likes Rose and that his rude behavior is “game”—a strategic use of reverse psychology designed to intrigue her.

Caroline is surprised that Derek has “put his future at risk for something as abstract as the truth,” and wonders if this bears some relation to what her grandparents called “honor.” Wanting to speak to Derek later that day, but not knowing what to say, she blurts out “Would you like to be part of our group for Dr. Nogimbe’s project?” Derek accepts, and says he already has an idea for the project: “It’s such an awesome idea, it’ll get us all kicked out of school!”

Riding home on the schoolbus that afternoon, Caroline discovers that most of her social media “friends” have suddenly dropped her—a major crisis for a teenage girl sensitive about her popularity. She understood instantly that Medina was behind it.

She then checked her messages. As expected, people were heaping the most vile abuse on her. She was a racist, a redneck, a Nazi, a White supremacist. There was no end to it. And it was almost all vulgar and profane. Would colleges find out? What about employers?

Derek sits down next to her to sell her on his project idea that will get them all kicked out of school: to look for accounts by American slave owners—to get their perspective on the South’s peculiar institution. Caroline tells him this is “the stupidest idea I have ever heard,” and that Brock and Rose agree with her. Doesn’t Derek want to graduate and go on to college? To her surprise, this argument does not seem decisive to Derek. When she persists in rejecting his idea for their project, he gets angry and tell her: “You’re just like all the others. I hope you and

all your snooty friends graduate college and marry millionaires.” Caroline reflects on the unfairness of Derek’s anger at her. Her defense of what he had said in class was the cause of her new pariah status, after all.

Caroline’s mother Joan is a conventional liberal whom Caroline knows will not be pleased to learn her daughter had defended a “racist” at school. But something even worse happens: Joan’s Black supervisor has gotten wind of Medina’s version of events, viz., that Caroline had been “defending racism and slavery,” and is now trying to get her fired. This could create serious financial problems for the entire family. Without asking Caroline for her side of the story, she demands that Caroline apologize to all and sundry for her “racism.”

Caroline counters that her mother should instead fight the injustice looming over her.

“They have no right to do this to you! You didn’t do anything wrong! If they fire you, find a lawyer and sue.”

“I can’t afford that, Caroline! I work for a big company. They have lawyers on staff.”

“Then we need some kind of organization that also has lawyers on staff.”

“What are you talking about?”

“A group of professionals, activists. I don’t know! An organization that can fight for people like us.”

“People like who?”

Caroline considered her response before responding. “white people,” she whispered.

Caroline soon recalls that her mother’s Black supervisor’s son once committed armed robbery—with no adverse effect on that woman’s employment.

Caroline has barely gained the upper hand in her confrontation with her mother when Derek, Brock and Rose unexpectedly show up at the door. Derek announces: “My uncle owns a house near where he lives that was a real plantation! With slaves and everything. He said we can explore. Take video. He’s got tons of information about it.” With some misgivings, Joan gives Caroline permission to join her new friends in gathering material for their class project.

Two hours later, the four drive up to the home of Derek’s Uncle Zack, a local history buff and tour guide. Zack explains:

The house we will visit today we think was constructed in the 1760s near a place called Kelly’s Ford. I bought it and the surrounding forty acres from the state of Virginia a few months ago. Ain’t much of it left, but what we do know is that its owner, Ernest Shackleford, operated a 120-acre farm and owned about a dozen slaves up until the Revolutionary War. Accordin’ to court records and at least one eyewitness account, he didn’t treat ‘em well.

Arriving at the site, which is little more than a ruin, Uncle Zack mentions that many of the slaves were “indentured servants.” Brock and Derek, knowing that indentured servants were White, fear they have come “all this way for nothing.”

Derek blinked twice. “Uncle Zack, I told you this project is about slavery. I emailed you the assignment our teacher gave us.”

Zack took another puff. “I read it. All it talked about was slavery. Didn’t say nuthin’ ‘bout Black or White.”

Zack explains that indentured servants were slaves. While their terms of service were theoretically limited, many were driven so hard they did not live to see the end, and others had their service legally or illegally extended beyond their contract of indenture. Derek and Brock continue to object that indentured servitude cannot compare with Black slavery.

“Son, it did,” Zack said patiently. “Hundreds of thousands of White indentured servants died in bondage durin’ the colonial period. Hundreds of thousands of White men, women, and children were abducted and sent to America as slaves. Many were convicts, yes. But many were also homeless or political dissidents or just in the wrong place at the wrong time. And because white slaves were so cheap to acquire, black slaves in many places were worth more.”

Being worth more, owners had an incentive to treat them better, whereas with White indentured servants the incentive was to get the maximum possible work out of them for as long as they could be kept in bondage.

The four friends gradually reconsider their ideas about colonial history, but foresee that this new information is not likely to go over well with Dr. Nogimbe.

Zack mentions that a few years previously, archaeologists had found the skeletal remains of a seventeen-year-old boy on the property:

They dated the remains to the 1770s and noted the herniated discs in the spine, a once-broken collar bone, and other injuries which indicated many years of hard labor. The back of his skull had been severely damaged, implying a violent death, perhaps even a homicide. The archaeologists assumed this boy had been a Black slave, but were shocked when tests revealed that he was Northern European, most likely English.

Indeed, all but one of the slaves on the Shackleford plantation appear to have been White.

While investigating a part of the property Zack had warned her to avoid as too dangerous, Caroline comes across a mysterious old manuscript. The title reads: “The Memoir of an Unfortunate Young Man, Abducted on the Docks of Brighton, and Forced to Live as a White Slave for 5 Years in the Virginia Colony Until His Providential Escape and Redemption.” This turns out to have been the work of the seventeen-year-old buried on the property: one of the White slaves/indentured servants Zack had been telling them about.

Five chapters of The No College Club consist of excerpts from this eighteenth-century memoir. It becomes the principal basis of the group’s school presentation, which triggers first a riot, then the expulsion of all four of them. Their families sue on the grounds of racial discrimination and improper expulsion, but the school district has deep pockets and does all it can to drag out the process.

As the book’s title implies, however, Caroline, Rose, Brock and Derek end up being forced by necessity to learn that it is possible to lead successful and happy lives without going into crippling debt to subject themselves to four years of racial abuse.

Conclusion

In general, The No College Club is a good first effort. The criticism I felt most often tempted to make while reading it is that it attempts to pack as much nationalist messaging as possible into a fairly short space (I left a fair amount out of this summary). Ideally, I would like to see our people producing material that would be read for its own sake by the general public, in which the message could be assimilated gradually and almost unconsciously amid the more universal themes of school, family, friendship, first love, etc., that is the typical focus of fiction for readers in this age group—in other words, the way our enemies do it. But this is an important example of the kind of thing we need to be doing.

While such books are valuable, conservatives should not overlook the power of video games. China and other powerful bodies are using such games to shape the brains of users, making the games into political weapons. Activism likely rarely nets a profit, but an obvious good game that could bring in millions is one based on Jews exploiting goys.

You could start out with simple price gouging and trickery, move on to brewing and usury, then go to slave trading and ultimately the conquest of India, if the below comments are true on India. Maybe the ultimate would be taking the central bank, setting one in each foreign state, then taking the mass media, academia, promoting porn, taking the intelligence agencies.

One funny thing would be tricking Christians into worshipping them, fighting wars to break and drive out Arabs. I wonder why no one here has ever done this.

James Burnham said the managerial elite come to power due to their having certain skills others lack. Well, maybe drawing cartoons, creating video games, etc are skills worth having in a different sense (different bc these are not managerial roles here.)

Each time peasants start to notice something is amiss, a fall guy is blamed or divide-and-conquer used. Anyway, this sort of thing will be illegal to create before too long.

Stardew Valley is an independent video game that was extremely successful. I used to want to develop one based around Trump and immigration, where you try to reduce immigrants, keep jobs in, oppose the wars, etc. However, everyone seems to understand those Buchananite views now; so, it’s an outdated idea. It would be a great way to explain the world from an American perspective, however.

There’s a lot that can be done, but it probably wouldn’t be profitable. Culture wars are fought by beggar monks. We don’t have rich central bankers funding us. Culture wars, if wanting to have an impact rather than just make money, are for the poor.

Similarly, both Dr. Fleming and Dr. Francis are/were poor. Saints don’t drive Ferraris, not usually. Pat Buchanan made a bit. Ann Coulter is successful. Activists should maybe develop careers first, before culture wars.

Jews don’t have the total domination of culture now. So, they have competition now. But if we’re ever independent, we’d want a culture for homeschooling or even general education in some settings. So, it could be good.

          Weaver says:

Technically, not only did Jews ship them to the New World, Jews were also welcomed into Charleston, SC, where they very much became part of slave owning society.

Slavery in SC spread from the Caribbean. Though we had other groups enslaved and indentured, including whites, US slavery was undeniably race based. Obviously, only whites could be citizens, by federal law. When Haiti rebelled, Jefferson wanted it ruined. US policy continued to be the ruination of Haiti up until 1862. This proves the US was about race and not “freedom.” Jefferson tried to blame the King for slavery, complained slavery was like having the wolf by the ears, (can’t release but don’t want to hold). If you look at some of the primary sources from Georgia and SC, not all are by plantation owners, you’ll find some of the best arguments. Alternatively, I can link some things if they’ll get through.

Slavery spread to every part of the US where it could be profitable. It might well not have ended without the war, because poor whites feared black crime, laziness, etc. Even though my knowledge is spotty, I might should submit some article with examples of what I know. However, I can say the obvious: The North owned slaves and was absolutely not fighting to end slavery. Slavery ended almost by accident. It’s important to understand that not to condemn the US but to understand how power works. Also, the North did not want blacks after the war, and slaves couldn’t fend for themselves once freed.

Slavery, cannibalism, and human sacrifice existed in North America, not only MesoAmerica, before Europeans. Slavery also existed in Africa, obviously. One defence of it was simply that blacks have dark skin and so can work in the sun. They supposedly fared better than Amerindians and probably whites as slaves.

US slavery should be compared both with European feudalism and with modern big business employees to fully understand it. Belloc warned of a “return to slavery” as the natural state of man, socialism for him being “slavery.”Jefferson apparently (I didn’t read this) warned the state naturally expands (recent Snowden retweet).

What I mean there is: I don’t believe there’s enough analysis of power relations as they relate to slavery, to put the institution in context. Slavery is fine within the 3 Abrahamic religions, but it creates a problem for Christians who see all humans as having immortal souls. Christians in the New World were shocked by Amerindian paganism and so were inclined towards slavery as a means of conversion.

Greek slavery is often claimed to have not been race based, but Spartan slavery was race based. Supposedly, the Spartans saw themselves as pure Dorians. Regardless of how they viewed themselves, it was race based slavery there.

Blacks in Africa look down on freed blacks as “former slaves.”

      • Weaver
        Weaver says:

Slavery was unstoppable once it arrived in the US. It would have been like trying to stop the later spread of Walmart. Slave owners and traders made fortunes. The poor can’t easily stop the rich.

Chambers of commerce throughout the US want mass immigration today, which is similar to plantations wanting slaves. Jews were the force that broke the US in 1965, however. Jews aren’t everything, but they have a tremendous impact by tipping the scales, tipping nations into vice, ruination, and death.

Had slavery not spread until later, it would have been less profitable. The US would have developed more slowly which might mean it wouldn’t have expanded so. So, the change could be much greater than one would expect.

If we described Jews accurately, it would be akin to Viking raids on the defenseless, uneducated, naive Anglos.

        W. Poe White says:

JewBoy asked “Are you suggesting that a particular group of people was responsible for slavery per se? Or that they profited from the slave trade?”

        The charges are that:

        (1) Jews were highly disproportionately involved in the slave trade as investors, as slave dealers, as slave ship owners, as slave ship captains and crew and as manufacturers and merchants dealing in provisions for slave plantations and ancillary goods (like distilling rum using slave produced sugar as part of the Atlantic triangular trade).

        (2) Jews had been the principal slave traders during (at least) the early Middle Ages and may have been the principal slave traders in the Roman Empire.

        (3) Jews may have been instrumental in initiating the modern European slave trade.

JewBoy said: “by the same logic you would blame the drug dealers, cartels, etc. for our drug problem, and essentially absolve drug users from culpability.”

I, for one, would indeed place the overwhelming share of the blame on the entrepreneurs who provide either slaves or drugs, respectively, for the existence of these evils. If no one went out of their way to organize a commercial enterprise pandering to would-be slave owners or drug takers then it would be a lot harder to be either one of them. The only sure fire way to sharply limit or eliminate these ills is to prevent anyone from providing them for profit.

JewBoy said: “As if someone forced Washington, Jefferson, et al, to buy and keep African slaves.”

I don’t know about Washington but Jefferson bought few if any slaves. His slaves were inherited. Why didn’t he free them? I imagine because this would have rendered him destitute. He made plain that he wanted slavery to be ended. If there had been a workable arrangement by which slaveowners could be reasonably compensated and the freed slaves exported out of the country, I’m sure Jefferson would have endorsed it fervently.

Slavery was imposed on America by elite European merchants, many of whom were Jews, especially in England and the Dutch republic. These are the people most to blame for the existence of the modern European slave trade.

Another point: Slavery needs to be seen in perspective. Oppressive as slavery often was, serfdom, indentured servitude and “free” wage labor could be equally oppressive. Not all slaves were treated the same; some were treated brutally and some mildly. Likewise with serfdom, indentured servitude and wage labor under capitalism. Indeed, White “indentured servants” in the 17th century were often de facto slaves who were treated especially savagely, often worse than Black slaves who were economically more valuable.

I read this with interest–as well as some degree of exasperation. Some of us are already producing such works, but if we’re self-published we don’t have the Public Relations arm of the large publishing house to get the word out. We have to rely on contests and promotions, which are available, but costly. Still, if you think your work is a meaningful contribution to culture, as I do, you pay when you can.

Dr. Devlin touched on something that is very important near the end of this review. What I believe he means when he says, “I would like to see our people producing material that would be read for its own sake by the general public, in which the message could be assimilated gradually and almost unconsciously amid the more universal themes of school, family, friendship, first love, etc.,” is that the work shouldn’t sound like a mouthpiece for the author’s opinions. That’s propaganda at worst; at best it’s corny.

When I was about to begin writing a middle grade novel, I made a list of moral values I wanted to see realized in the book. I then made certain that they emerged from the work organically, and without that sense of the unnatural that plagues so many agenda-driven works of any kind.

Because if I’m following you, by the same logic you would blame the drug dealers, cartels, etc. for our drug problem, and essentially absolve drug users from culpability.
As if someone forced Washington, Jefferson, et al, to buy and keep African slaves.

Arguably a particular group of people, namely Talmudists who started calling themselves “Jews” around 1775, WAS primarily responsible for the slave trade with Africa and they profited greatly from transporting and selling black African slaves. Moreover, records indicate that not only did “Jews” dominate the Atlantic slave ship trade but a larger proportion of “Jews” held black slaves than did “whites” in the US colonies and the USA republic.

No one is saying Washington , Jefferson et al were forced to keep slaves but they weren’t the one’s operating the trade, “Jews” were.

Incidentally, the “Jews” had “form”. The Talmudic Black Nobility in Venice ran the slave trade between Europe and the Mongol empire for centuries before the Ottoman Turks closed that trade route. Then those Talmudists moved their HQ to Holland and then London to take advantage of the triangular Atlantic slave trade. From their new London HQ they established the Bank of England in 1694 and the British East India company, as adjuncts to their other usurious banking enterprises.
After they started calling themselves “Jews” they used the British India company to invade and conquer India, where they enslaved and looted the richest country on the planet, enslaving many, many millions of Indians IN THEIR HOMELAND i.e. they didn’t sell Indians as slaves overseas but forced them to domestically produce opium, tea and other commodities for export.

Then in the Opium Wars in the early 1840s the “Jewish” owners of the British India company invading China, forcing the emperor to cede Hong Kong and other places to the British empire thereby allowing them to foist drug addiction upon many, many millions of Chinese people.

Feel free to blame China and the Chinese people for becoming addicted to opium produced by economically enslaved Indians; thus “essentially absolving” the drug pushing “Jewish” owners of the British East India company from culpability.
While you are at it, feel free to blame goyim all over this planet for their addiction to the money meme and usurious Rothschilds’ controlled Central banking which enslaves everyone.

    Peace and Blessings,

If what you say is true, it would really change how Indians see Jews. Presently, Indians are angry at Brits over the exploitation, want reparations. Indians love Israel, because they want to do the same to Kashmir.

The British conquest might have stopped Islam from erasing Hinduism fully. Hinduism is weird, but it’s one of the few traces we have of old paganism. It’s amazing to see how they adopted secular stories as later “sacred,” how it changed over time. I’m glad it was preserved even if it’s so strange. It gives us an idea of how humans developed since so much of the past is lost or very eroded.

Did Brits have much to do with their empire, or are we just some island monkey race that was useful to Jews? Surely we’ve had some agency…

Similarly, you can have different tribes and nations like a Conan book, a series that isn’t ideal but is very fun. The Worm Ouroboros is very unusual. I have a bookshelf of other “good” books I haven’t managed to look at but which are probably good. Some traditional British tales I’ve found to be a little corrupting. So, the past isn’t necessarily ideal.

Stone toss comics, Babylon Bee, and Ben Garrison deserve praise. Years ago I argued for the need for a SNL variant. Separately, Jon Stewart was ridiculously popular at one point, had a huge influence on the young. Japanese manga is mostly boring; maybe all comics are. However, I enjoyed reading a few of them. They are far better than the propaganda comics produced by mainstream US.

Arkhaven is an attempt by I think Vox. Mike Tuggle has also written some fiction. Neither might be ideal, but they’re noteworthy. Inazo Nitobe’s Bushido book could have a pro-white impact, counterintuitively. Le Morte d’Arthur was a fun read for me growing up but might be too odd. Icelandic Sagas are probably good. My tablet is dying.

01 An overdue plan of action.

02 But how does our grassroots, opposed effort, compare to Governor Newsom’s wife SELLING woke books to schoolboards in all 50 by the tens of thousands?

03 HAARETZ writes of US Jews influencing Netanyahu and those to even his Right, to increase its Knesset’s authority over its top Court.

04 A wet dream copying Wuhan’s purported wet market and its subsequent US funded ” gain of function “.

05 After developing this parliamentary superiority over the Supreme Court in Israel, in its own lab, it will certainly be imported to the US: partial repayment of its multi-billion annual US assistance.

06 The States’ education policies, and more, will be determined by the burgeoning Damocratic Party, itself multiplied by Mayorkas’ bought and paid for ” migrants “. The hallowed and hollowed “Constitutionality” of the States’ rights to its education policies will be decided exclusively by Blue States’ Legislatures. [ patent pending ! ]

07 Merely my criminalized prognosticated pattern recognition.

My wife and I have been enjoying the Turkish series Ertuğrul. It follows our hero through 5 seasons and the formation of the Ottoman Empire. It inspires with the virtues of leadership, family, loyalty, and faith. It is intensely tribal and moral. We enjoy it as a refuge from the obligatory gay sub plot, sexual perversion, and softcore pornography peddled by our masters. It is intensely masculine although there are some ridiculous female warriors, overacting , and over the top fight scenes. It can be watched by the whole family. After 170 episodes I don’t think my wife and I have seen one kiss. Yet there is a great deal of romance. Remarkably it’s strictly between men and women who are very good looking. It is I believe the most popular show of all time . The president of Pakistan is a fan and it is immensely popular in that country. Ironically it’s available on Netflix and YouTube. I don’t think even they can flex their financial muscle to bring in the demoralizing themes of homosexuality, slave morality, and contempt for religion. We had previously watched K dramas from Korea. However those that are supported by Netflix often follow the playbook. In one series about a dentist living in a smalltown we have in procrustean fashion introduced a lesbian sub theme. We realized the masters had to be paid. The idea of a demoralizing gay character in our Turkish series is unthinkable. What a breath of fresh air.

I actually believed in “democracy” for the first part of my life. Nowadays (much too late) I know that this word is nothing more than a euphemism of the rulers. The greatest tragedy of my life is the uncertainty of what will become of all of us. One day soon the moment will come when I am already happy to be able to empty my bladder without pain (let alone to enlighten the world about my thought processes). Then I and all my accumulated mental content disappear behind a wall of uncertainty, which others indecently control, if they tore the control out of my hand due to my biological decay and appropriated it. What does it all mean? We are about the time that needed the action.

A great book that should resonate with white young people. But will it? Only time will tell.

I noticed the reference to leering black boys harassing white girls in hallways. This is a subject to which an entire book, or at least one chapter in a book, could be addressed. . There’s a f popular form of video on line called “white beatdown videos.” Mostly these videos, downloaded from cell phones, show blacks beating white guys, invariable smaller, weaker and less numerous than their black assailants. I’ve been told that beatdowns and the threat of beatdowns are used to intimidate white boys in schools and a form of racial social control. This was an inevitable result of racial integration.
