Percent of different racial groups in America getting food stamps

If you ask what percentage of Whites get food stamps, the first answer that pops out answers the question what percent of total recipients are White–a very different question, the answer to which is about 35% because there are a lot more Whites than these other groups. This 35% is then emphasized in the media to give a very warped picture of the situation.

    The economy is bad enough that for many women it’s better to survive by “farming” kids than by working a job.

    You keep having kids, and food stamps and WIC keep paying up. It’s a hell of a way to live.

    I grew up where whites are a minority, and yep, due to financial irresponsibility on my father’s part and the fact that in white culture, You Are On Your Own(tm) from about the age of 10 if not earlier, we were on welfare and food stamps when my father stopped coming around. (He was as pure bed a WASP as can by, which is why I have a health amount of skepticism about whites ever actually accomplishing for themselves what is normal for Asians…)

    Food stamps paid for food, until the youngest one or two aged out WIC helped too, we had rental assistance, and Mom had to work a job which would not begin to cover things but she had to work a job, and the rest was filled in as if the job *did* pay for things.

    I read years ago that the typical food stamp and welfare recipient was a single mother who’d married a guy, thought the guy would be a good reliable provider, and then the guy ducked out, leaving the mother with the kids. That was our case in a nutshell and it may be the case quite often. But I emphasize “years ago” maybe more like a decade or two ago.

    One we were nearing adulthood (keep in mind, in the US at least in white culture, you’re OUT once you reach age 18 and you’re lucky if your parents don’t try to hit you for the “cost of raising you” and certainly by age 18 any savings, college fund, etc., are long gone, stolen from you by your parents) we flew the goddamn coop with great sighs of relief. Hell I was the one who instigated the escape of we youngest three.

    No food stamps etc for us. We got out and worked, joined the military, whatever worked.

    I *do* think welfare and food stamps are good programs. The latter is essentially a subsidy for the US farmer and food producer and that’s not a bad thing. The former is a great way to keep crime down. But these programs work in a cohesive, coherent, homogeneous society. Not one composed of warring tribes, presided over by the most parasitic and rapacious tribe of all.
