In 2005, Kushner was convicted of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering, and was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment, which he served in the Federal Prison Camp, Montgomery. As a convicted felon, he was also disbarred in three states. He later received a pardon issued by his son’s father-in-law, President Trump, on December 23, 2020.[4][5] Kushner has donated significant amounts to Trump’s campaigns. Previously, he was a major Democratic party donor.[6][7] In 2025, he was nominated by President Trump to serve as United States ambassador to France during his second administration. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 19, 2025, by a vote of 51–45.

It is dangerous to be a Jewish artist in France. On Saturday, the well-known DJ Barbara Butch was forced to abandon her performance during a music festival in the Alpine city of Grenoble.

Butch is an icon of the LGBT movement and best-known, among international audiences, for appearing in the “Last Supper” skit during the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

On that occasion the 45-year-old Butch infuriated conservative figures on both sides of the Atlantic with her irreverence. Donald Trump labeled the parody a “disgrace,” as did the Vatican, which deplored “the offense done to many Christians and believers of other religions.”

On Saturday, it was the far-left who took offense to the presence of Butch. Encouraged by Jean-Luc Melenchon’s la France Insoumise party (LFI), about 100 pro-Palestine activists hurled abuse at Butch as she took to the stage. Soon glass bottles were being thrown and after twenty minutes the city council closed down the concert “to ensure the safety of the audience [and] the crew.”

Butch is Jewish, and earlier this year she signed a tribune in support of a bill that had been tabled to address the rise in France of “renewed forms of anti-Semitism.” The legislation was supported by the right and some centrists, but it was furiously opposed by most on the left who said it would prevent criticism of Israel. Consequently the bill was suspended.

Butch hasn’t been forgiven by the far-left for supporting the bill and in the eyes of many has gone from hero to villain. One member of LFI who was at the concert, Allan Brunon, a local councilor, said the party was “extremely proud to have taken part in this peaceful demonstration.”

A poll in 2024 reported that 92 percent of French Jews believed LFI had played a role in the recent rise of anti-Semitism in the Republic. Things have got worse since, not just for ordinary members of the public but also for artists.

Last year the Jewish stand-up comedian Rosa Bursztein was targeted for anti-Semitic abuse, and in November pro-Palestine activists stormed a performance in Paris by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. The protestors let off flares in the auditorium and scuffled with members of the audience.

Manon Aubry, a senior figure within LFI, refused to condemn the violence, saying that the musicians “represent the Israeli state [which] commits war crimes.”

On Monday the newspaper Le Monde published an op-ed by Barbara Butch, in which she said that “a line had been crossed” on Saturday evening: “The line separating protest from coercion, disagreement from intimidation, speech from violence. They were no longer responding to an artist; they were driving her off the stage.”

These comments were echoed by Yonathan Arfi, president of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF). He accused the far-left of exploiting the Palestinian cause to “terrorize the cultural world and target Jewish artists… the aim is simple: to subject artists and culture to LFI’s political agenda.”

Catherine Pégard, the Culture Minister, has promised to meet Barbara Butch in the coming days to “reaffirm our unwavering support for artistic freedom and the values of the Republic.”

“Support” was the word used on Monday by Charles Kushner, America’s Jewish ambassador to France, as he hosted one of France’s most prominent Jewish politicians. Sarah Knafo, the No. 2 in Eric Zemmour’s Reconquest party, has been warning for many months about the resurgence in anti-Semitism. On Monday Kushner offered his “support for the French Jewish community.”

Last year Kushner accused Emmanuel Macron in a letter of turning a blind eye to the rampant anti-Semitism. “I write out of deep concern over the dramatic rise of anti-Semitism in France and the lack of sufficient action by your government to confront it,” he explained to the president.

Kushner’s comments were not well received. A foreign ministry statement described them as “unacceptable” and the ambassador was summoned for a dressing down. It is easier for Macron’s administration to shoot the messenger rather than confront a crisis that is spiraling out of control.

Kushner warned Macron that “not a day passes without Jews assaulted in the street, synagogues or schools defaced, or Jewish-owned businesses vandalized.”

To that list can now be added the intimidation of artists. No Jew is safe in Emmanuel Macron’s France.

    Question Kevin, Would you say that half blooded Jews or Ashkenazis Jews who are half White half jewish, think the same way as full blooded Jews in general and feel the same way towards whites as full blooded Jews? I’m watching this debate Arthur Jensen had with psychologists and other scientists. And one of the psychologists was Half Jewish Half White, who tested with an IQ of 200 when he was a child, and was part of Lewis Terman’s famous Termite study of children with an of 140 and above to see how they would do later in life. And the psychologist was debating Jensens paper with Jensen against the fact that black children have lower IQs on average than white children, and I was wondering why would someone so smart argue against that and I that question sprung up in my mind he turned out to be half jewish. This specific demographic will be increasing significantly in the future.

      Half-jews are, from what I’ve observed, often even more ethnocentric than full-blood jews. Like half-blacks are often even more White-hating than full-blood blacks. Being half White, but not quite there and not looking like us, must be fuelling all the rage and resentment.

        Indeed. In the US we follow the “one drop rule” which is that, if you have “one drop” of Black blood, you are Black. Hence we have some very, very, pale Black people. And if you’re enough White to be intelligent, but have that drop or three of “black” blood, you can really cash in – college scholarships, preferential treatment in, well, everything. You can write books and give lectures. It’s a life on easy street, but you have to appear resentful and angry to keep up your part and the best way to do that is to *be* resentful and angry.

    I must have missed the publication of the UN resolution declaring disc jockeys and stand-up comedians* artists. I thought that pretty much everyone still regarded them as members of that subset of Jews who were so utterly skill-less that even the government wouldn’t employ them.

    I wonder, too, whether Gavin Mortimer and any of these French Jews suffering from anti-Semitic blackballing were similarly outraged in 2022 when Valery Gergiev was fired from music directorships in Rotterdam and Munich and had performance contracts unilaterally cancelled by the Vienna Philharmonic, the Teatro alla Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, and the management of Carnegie Hall—all of these for the crime of being a Russian patriot who refused to denounce his government, including Vladimir Putin by name, for the Russians’ long-delayed military response to eight years’ worth of Western subversion of Ukraine and Ukrainian-Jewish persecution of Russian nationals within that puppet state.

    Much the same treatment was meted out to the celebrated Russian soprano Anna Netrebko, despite the fact that Netrebko—in the face of public denunciation by US and NATO government officials, opera company general directors, and ((((influential))) impresarios and festival directors and with the prospect before her of an 80 percent loss of income—consented to crawl to the power brokers to the extent of declaring the “invasion” unjust and calling for an end to the conflict. The big shots, however, declared her abjuration insufficiently degrading and unilaterally tore up her contracts.

    Gergiev and Netrebko, unlike the lesbian Jewish DJ and the unfunny Jewish comedian, are genuine artists. Their true crime is being on the wrong side of the Jewish goal of world domination. Donald Trump won’t be issuing any executive pardons for those found guilty of that offense.

        EU Commission Rejects Citizens’ Initiative Calling for a Migration Moratorium

        Despite hundreds of thousands of signatures, the EU Commission has rejected a petition calling for a halt to migration from non-Western countries. The petition’s organizers have now announced they will take legal action.

        Following the EU Commission’s rejection of the “Save Europe Act” petition, the organizers have announced they will take legal action against the decision. The initiative, which gathered nearly 600,000 signatures, advocates, among other things, for an EU-wide moratorium on migration from non-Western countries and had been proposed for registration as a European Citizens’ Initiative. “The European Commission is doing everything it can to destroy what makes Europe European,” said one of the initiators and first signatories, Eva Vlaardingerbroek, in a video posted on X on Wednesday evening. “We will take up this fight with your help.”

        In its rejection notice, the Commission emphasized that the proposed moratorium discriminates “on the basis of race and ethnicity” rather than functioning on the basis of standard migration management criteria. As such, the proposal “clearly” contradicts the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights as well as the values of the European Union as set forth in the Treaty of Lisbon.

        Brussels also rejected the view that the migration ban was justified by the “cultural and demographic continuity of the European peoples” and thus by Article 4 of the EU Treaty. Specifically, the second paragraph of that article states that the EU must respect the national identities of the member states. However, this applies only to measures that do not conflict with the fundamental values enshrined in the Treaty.

        To date, the European Commission has responded to 13 citizens’ initiatives

        The initiative also calls for a “fundamental reform” of existing migration and asylum rules in the EU during the moratorium. This should include enhanced protection of external borders, a uniform EU-wide framework for the accelerated return of illegal and criminal immigrants, and incentives for voluntary return. In addition to Vlaardingerbroek, the former spokesperson for the Identitarian Movement in Austria, Martin Sellner, is also among the initiators.

        Since April 2012, EU citizens have been able to submit citizens’ initiatives as European Citizens’ Initiatives to legally compel the European Commission to address the issues raised. Once successfully registered, the initiative must collect one million signatures within twelve months. Citizens’ initiatives that contradict existing EU law or call for amendments to the Treaties are not permitted.

        To date, 13 out of 131 registered initiatives have received a response from the European Commission. Most recently, in December 2025, the European Parliament voted in favor of a motion for a resolution—proposed by the “My Voice, My Choice” coalition—calling for EU-wide access to legal abortions.

        Once again, it’s clear what this “European Commission” truly stands for: Anything that could benefit the people of the EU is ruthlessly shot down. Anything that harms them in the short, medium, and long term is waved through. This must come to an end. This EU must be reformed and scaled back to what it was originally intended for: namely, to form a unified economic area for the European countries. No more, but also no less.

        The “Treaty of Lisbon” from 2009 is nothing more than a cheap sleight of hand, following the spectacular failure of the EU Constitution in the 2005 referendums in France and the Netherlands. Cunningly, they resorted to the opaque method of a reform treaty, which required no public participation. A simple amendment to old treaties, to the detriment of the nation-states, settled the matter.

National Rally is a pathetically watered down version of the great Jean-Marie Le Pen’s National Front. The Racial Right should be working with anyone willing to fight the leftist vermin, and impose mass remigration.

        Pardon my pessimism, but I don’t trust Zemmour, and I think that the Jews’ love of the remigration movement consists solely in their desire to get control of it.

        On an unrelated matter, how’s your fund-raising progressing? Have the Irish prosecutors and courts found more ways to make your life an utter shambles?

    LFI, from the little i know of it, is a newcomer party- same as DSA here.

    What’s happening is the attempt to put antisems into the looney Left, so they can all be hauled out in one Hefty garbage bag, nice and neat like.
    Of course, everybody hates jews, historically- the internet would run out of ink (pixels?) trying to list every person/country who hated them.

    You could start with Elaphantine Island in Egypt, read their own accounts in the Torah, then go to Romans, then medieval Europe, to the Middle East.
