Christopher Donovan: The Jewish producer of Law & Order, Dick Wolf, presides over a television show that presents a grossly distorted view of New York City’s criminal class. Namely, that it’s rich whites, skinheads and radical right-wingers committing all the crime, while heroic black, Hispanic and Jewish detectives chase them down.
Often, the writers of the show will put liberal or anti-white speeches directly into the mouths of the characters. TV talker Bill O’Reilly, a recent target of one such speech, fired back.
Of course, the real fight here isn’t loudmouthed conservative radio personalities versus liberal television writers. It’s implicit whiteness, in the forms of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly, versus Jewish sensibilities. How many O’Reilly viewers get that?

What’s noteworthy about the episode in question is not that O’Reilly was attacked, but that the subject of the show was a white immigration-restrictionist who murdered (or attempted to murder) the children of a Mexican illegal immigrant. Talk about an inversion of reality.
A recent article from CBS News expands on the O’Reilly-Wolf feud:
The latest feud involving the star of Fox’s long-running opinion series ‘The O’Reilly Factor’ stems from last week’s episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victim’s Unit,’ which revolved around a killer stalking the children of illegal immigrants. During the course of the episode, the suspect’s defense lawyer, played by veteran television actor John Larroquette, argued that his client was incited to violence by the words of conservative pundits such as O’Reilly.
“Limbaugh, Beck, O’Reilly, all of ‘em, they are like a cancer spreading ignorance and hate,” Laroquette’s character said during the episode, “and they’ve convinced folks that immigrants are the problem, not corporations that fail to pay a living wage or a broken health care system.”
Needless to say, O’Reilly was less than thrilled with this characterization and called out ‘Law & Order’ chief Dick Wolf on the air, saying … insisting that over the course of his career on ‘The O’Reilly Factor,’ the pundit has “consistently defended poor people who only want a better life.
My comment: Obviously, Wolf doesn’t believe in subtlety in constructing his plots. On the other hand, the problem with O’Reilly’s statement is that it seems to say it’s okay for all the poor people of the world to come to the US.

I think Steve Sailer said in the first series of Law & Order there was a reasonably realistic portrayal of crime but it didn’t get good ratings.

Somebody, no, Sailer quoted Dick Wolf as saying as much. And yes, Wolf was lying. It was more realistic, not “reasonably” realistic. I.e., if on a scale of 1 to 10, L&O is currently a 10 in terms of reality inversion, it would only score a 9.5 for its first season.
I don’t know why Wolf bothered to respond with such a blatant lie, since the first season is available on DVD.
That aside, let’s assume for a moment that Wolf isn’t completely full of #@^!. How would he know that their ratings sucked because of the accurate portrayal of non-white crime, and picked up because they switched to Bizarro World portrayals of the demographics of crime? It was obviously a facile answer. I mean, let’s zero in a bit here. How many of the rich Caucasian criminals in Wolf’s NYC are Jewish (or more accurately, obviously non-WASP)? How many of the rich Caucasians in the real NYC are Jewish? Maybe he could improve ratings by portraying the rich Caucasians of NYC more accurately. Has he checked how the ratings are affected, either way? How stupid does Wolf think we are?
Competition in the marketplace of ideas is a load of horse@$!%, an answer roughly equivalent to “go @$*! yourself.” Where are the follow-ups to big money makers like Passion and 300? Open market my arse.
Oh, I also love the “Dick Wolf is Roman Catholic” thing that you find if you G**gle him. Uhm, yeah we have G**gle image search now too, kthxbye. Even if he is nominally RC (which I doubt), he’s obviously racially Jewish (I think his current wife is Jewish – blood will tell), and no more RC than a boy raised by wolves is a wolf.

You’re right there was anti white ‘criminal intent’ from the begining, but even if Dick Wolf wanted to show a true picture of 1990 who would want to watch a hour of representative and realistic crime for a whole season, certainly not whites who want to be able to relate to some of the characters.

Strange, I thought the character played by John Laroquette was a
dead-ringer for Morris Dees of the $PLC. He defends successfully
the actual murderer of three immigrant children in order to gain
noteriety from attacking a grotesquely exxagerated Lou Dobbs figure.
About the show’s other failings I agree.
Law and Order also once had a plot about Minutemen killing Truck Drivers who were involved in smuggling Illegal Immigrants into the Country.

So the premise is, nobody wants to watch a show about room-temp IQ crackhead murderers. True to an extent, but this leads to a fantasy world about WASP murderers how, exactly? It doesn’t, unless that’s your predilection. How about a few rich snobby Jewish murderers? Everyone hates rich snobs, right? And there are plenty of rich snobby Jews in NYC. How about a few rich snobby black murderers? I mean, we’ve already left reality behind, right? So we can write some rich snobby blacks into our fantasy world. Same goes for mestizos. Everybody loves diversity, right?
Yeah, a story about some rich black affletes gang-raping and murdering a white girl would be a real ratings-killer. This is the argument Wolf’s making. Either he’s snorting shrooms, or he’s a liar.
Relating to the characters is one thing. That doesn’t amount to a demand for a one-way gradient vis-a-vis the Culture Wars.
