Peter Erlinder is a law professor recently released from a Rwandan prison, where he found himself jailed for his attempts to represent an opposition leader.
Whatever the merits of his cause, Erlinder strikes me as a typical White American academic/liberal who thinks he can make the world a better place by immersing himself in the messes of Black Africans. The stirring, Academy Award-winning movie based on his heroic life — complete with singing, drumming Africans in the background — plays in his head on the plane ride over. For him, going to jail probably only added to the romance.

Of course, his towering mistake is to think that anything he does will have any influence over the lives of Black Africans. It won’t, largely because black Africans simply don’t operate like white Westerners: they don’t think like them, behave like them, or value what they value.
Neither, of course, do many black Americans, one of whom robbed Erlinder at gunpoint upon his return. (The robber was Black, a fact censored by the press, as usual.)
Does it get any better than this? What will it take for Peter Erlinder to understand that Black people are simply not worth his intellectual energy? We joke about people who wouldn’t know something “if it smacked them in the face”, but for White people, it can truly be said that the vast majority of Whites wouldn’t acknowledge racial difference if it smacked them in the face. Or robbed them at gunpoint.
Attention, White law professors: the people needing heroic advocacy are your own people.

I’ve got so little respect for my upper-class brothers and this Erlinder guy does nothing to change my views. He got robbed from Blacks after his return from helping Blacks in Rwanda. (Now that cheered me) Our people are suffering terribly and this misguided, idiotic, sorry excuse for an Aryan is off helping Blacks. Should’ve just left him in prison.

Christopher, I enjoy this blog and your writing, but that statement is not very reasoned.
Is no black person worth one’s intellectual energy?
Is every black person, including physicists and doctors, worth less intellectual energy than every white person, including serial killers?
What about mixed-race people? How much “blackness” must they have to become unworthy of one’s intellectual energy? Is that blackness measured by skin shade or something else? Should one’s intellectual energy be spent in gradual proportion to the whiteness of their skin, or do they cross some skin whiteness threshold, say, 80% white, when one’s intellectual energy suddenly kicks in, going from 0% to 100% in a quantum leap?
Maybe you meant, “No black culture is worth trying to change.” That would make more sense and is probably true.
Race is one factor playing a role in violence, but it is not the only factor. In the Rwandan genocide, cruel, violent blacks killed meek, innocent blacks, including children. Are the killers and their victims equivalent to you, both being unworthy of your intellectual energy?

This is a blog about racial and ethnic interests. Acknowledging that there are degenerate whites does not invalidate the idea that we, as a group, have collective interests and furthermore, the handful of successful blacks out there doesn’t override the cold hard facts about race in general.
Mixed-raced individuals rarely identify as “white” so no, I don’t think they’re worth spending effort on. As for the intelligent blacks, of what value are they to the white group interest? About zero, less if they’re actively working against it.

At the most basic level, the mistake lies in thinking that there is such a thing as Black “people” at all. One may as well speak of monkey “people”, or frog “people”. It’s an idea without a corresponding object; a misapplication of the term.
As for mixed-race “people”, keep in mind the Dobzhansky criterion is not absolute. A species may be capable of producing offspring with another species. But when this happens in humans, the resulting monstrosity isn’t “people” either.

You need to adjust to it. It’s time to redefine yourselves. You need to realize that you do not belong to the same groups as Erlinder. You don’t.
He is not one of you. Give yourself a name: “Western.” This is your identity, your ethnos. Being racially white is a necessary but not sufficient condition for being “Western.” Worrying about these people, just because they are white — even when they are anti-western — is a waste of energy.

Why should one devote any intellectual energy towards blacks? Just leave them alone and let them feed and breed as nature intended. They are exploited for profit ,disruping their culture and now that they are dependent on a culture that is not in sych with their genetic instincts (culture gone to seed) we want them to behave as Whites. The conclusion is there is something wrong with them. If they were left alone in their own land there would be no problem. I know this will break a lot of liberal hearts, but…pssst they are different and should not mix with our culture it is poison to them, but then the liberals would have no one to feel superior to.
Maybe its we swam with the current instead of fighting miscegenation. Is it not realistic to view it as a culling process?
Since racially mixed people are perceived as being non-White, why should we worry over the miscegenation of our misguided “brothers”? Their true color will emerge in their offspring, and by definition, they won’t be our problem.
Instead of sounding racial alarm bells about the shrinkage of our race, maybe we can occasionally sit back and marvel as we effortlessly evolve into a smaller, more cohesive, racial elite.

Our moral imperative is to liberate the “benighted” members of the white race from the clutches of multiracial globalism. Intra-African squabbles are simply not worth our time or effort. Take your concern for Rwanda’s victims to the jewish and white worthies running this cesspool. Do not waste our time or yours’ with blather suggesting that the moral imperative behind our intellectual efforts is misplaced.
Erlinder is not your typical do-gooder; his story is that the genocide in Rwanda is inaccurately reported. This is a cause but is not an “anti-racist” cause. He is perhaps comparable to Ernst Zundel.
This paradox seems lost on most Americans of either political flavor – Democrat OR Republican:
In our lifetime, America has become the equal opportunity America, the anti-racist and anti-sexist America, the Miranda rights America, the peace and love hippie America, the civil rights act America. The world should love us, right? Wrong. We are the most HATED Americans of all time. WHY?? Put simply, it’s impossible to make the world a better place AND mind your own God damn business at the same time.

I agree with J. Clark that this is a careless statement. Mr. Donovan writes really, really good articles that have great potential to sway whites that are unaware of the predicament we are in. I have tried to share articles of his with such people, but statements like the one above become a stumbling block. One of his best articles was “Secrets to a Happy Life: A Primer for 20-Something Whites” but when I sent it to a young person I know he was outraged by a similar, isolated statement. This is not a question of pandering to non-whites. It is one of how we can best reach the next circle of those we need on our side.

The question of what to devote intellectual energies to is first and foremost a matter of priorities. Whites have a race to save. It’s reasonable that that takes precedence over cogitating about solutions to the endless cycle of African violence.
Blacks’ numbers are rising prodigiously. Whites are spiraling toward extinction and taught that so much as concern about such a future event is immoral, let alone taking action to prevent it. Are both the growing plenty and the threatened few equivalent to you, or is one worthy of more intellectual energy than the other? If yes to the latter, I shudder to think which one in your mind.
Finally, as a mere thought experiment: do non-Africans (specifically, do whites) owe Africans anything, even so much as their intellectual energies? Is that really an absolute obligation? Is it permissible to imagine that perhaps it isn’t? What would happen if it were decided that it is not?
