We are nearing the climax of a watershed election. The Ruling Class understands that Donald Trump represents a counter-revolution to all they have built up over the last 50 years. That emphatically includes GOP leaders like Speaker Paul Ryan, who hastened not merely to step on Trump’s bounce back in the second debate by announcing he was suspending support, but is signaling he will continue to damage Trump as much as possible [Inside Ryan’s decision to (almost) dump Trump| The speaker might still fully rescind his endorsement before Nov. 8, sources told POLITICO, by Jakee Sherman and John Bresnahan, Politico, October 11, 2016]
This phenomenon has inspired an important essay from Angelo M. Codevilla, a Senior Fellow of the Claremont Institute and emeritus professor of International Relations at Boston University, After the Republic. [Claremont Review,September 27, 2016]. Codevilla’s basic idea: the cultural revolution of the last 50 years has destroyed America as a constitutional republic. As many on the Alt Right have noted, there is nothing left to conserve. The question now is where our post-republic period will take us. Codevilla [Email him] writes
Because Republicans largely agree with Democrats that they need not take seriously the founders’ Constitution, today’s American regime is now what Max Weber had called the Tsarist regime on the eve of the Revolution: “fake constitutionalism.” Because such fakery is self-discrediting and removes anyone’s obligation to restrain his passions, it is a harbinger of revolution and of imperial power. [Emphasis added]
This is why we see repeated crazy comparisons of Trump to Hitler—most recently, This New York Times ‘Hitler’ review sure reads like a thinly disguised Trump comparison. [By Aaron Blake, Washington Post, September 28, 2016] Despite absolutely no statements from Trump suggesting that he would suspend the Constitution and assume dictatorial powers, the concern is lurking that, like Hitler, he would do just that.
The fundamental reason for this fear among the elites: their guilty conscience. They understand that in the last 50 years they have completely upended the old order in America. They have created a revolution that opposes the most fundamental interests of the historic white American nation. They understand that this election could confirm their revolution—but only if Hillary Clinton wins.
Her victory would mean continued Leftist appointments to the Supreme Court (Codevilla has an excellent summary of the vast changes in “Constitutional Law” imposed by the new regime) and it would mean importing around many millions more non-whites, the great majority uneducated, poor, and dependent and the vast majority of whom will be entirely on board with their revolution.
The top-down nature of this revolution cannot be overemphasized. There was never a demand by a majority, or even close to a majority, from any Western country for a complete transformation, to the point that white people will soon be minorities in societies they had dominated for hundreds and, in the case of Europe, thousands of years. This top-down revolution has never been supported by a majority of white Americans. There is anger, resentment, and fear for the future.
Trump represents an inchoate backlash against this revolution. But we have entered an era where it is too late to simply turn back the clock. The changes have been too drastic. One could change the legal situation with one or two judicious Supreme Court picks. But that will not undo the importation of a new people—tens of millions of non-whites with all that that implies for the future.
As Codevilla notes, because we have entered an era of fake constitutionalism and because the most fundamental interests of the traditional American majority have been ruthlessly suppressed, there is no obligation to restrain one’s passions. The situation is indeed what Codevilla calls “a harbinger of revolution and of imperial power.”
The new Ruling Class realizes that it rules by lawless bureaucratic coercion:
In today’s America, a network of executive, judicial, bureaucratic, and social kinship channels bypasses the sovereignty of citizens. Our imperial regime, already in force, works on a simple principle: the president and the cronies who populate these channels may do whatever they like so long as the bureaucracy obeys and one third plus one of the Senate protects him from impeachment. If you are on the right side of that network, you can make up the rules as you go along, ignore or violate any number of laws, obfuscate or commit perjury about what you are doing (in the unlikely case they put you under oath), and be certain of your peers’ support. These cronies’ shared social and intellectual identity stems from the uniform education they have received in the universities. Because disdain for ordinary Americans is this ruling class’s chief feature, its members can be equally certain that all will join in celebrating each, and in demonizing their respective opponents. While the traditional America aspired to be and substantially attained a society based on individual merit, the new elite is not a meritocracy (the poster child for this is Elena Kagan), and not just in terms of Affirmative Action and ethnic favoritism in university admissions. The Clintons may be seen as representative of the corruption of this new ruling elite, able to flout laws with impunity. At this writing, Hillary Clinton remains ahead in most national polls and has the support of the entire Establishment, left to right, despite:
- highly credible charges of unprecedented corruption involving hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation from donors, many of them foreign entities, while she was Secretary of State, as well as outrageous speaking fees for Bill Clinton from these same donors (importantly, his speaking fees skyrocketed after Hillary became Secretary of State);
- violation of an agreement between Clinton and the Obama Administration not to accept foreign donations during her tenure as Secretary of State;
- the destruction via BleachBit (a program designed to make the information non-retrievable) of likely incriminating emails after a subpoena,
- being cleared of criminal conduct by the FBI that would have sent ordinary people to prison; “the great majority of career agents and attorneys on the case unanimously believed the Democratic presidential nominee should have been charged.”
- her staff pleading the Fifth Amendment in Congressional hearings;
- many of her staff receiving immunity deals even there is good reason to think they lied to the FBI;
- an agreement for the FBI to destroy computer owned by Clinton aides, including Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s Chief of Staff, plus looking only at contents between June 1, 2014 and February 1, 2015 and hence ignoring much possibly incriminating evidence.
And in the same vein, Bill Clinton continues to receive adulation in the Main Stream Media and acts as a spokesperson for Hillary, despite a credible history of rape and lying about extramarital relationships which were aggressively covered up by Hillary by lying and intimidating and impugning the reputation of the women involved.
None of this has been enough to derail wall-to-wall Ruling Class support for Hillary Clinton. We have indeed come to the end of America as a constitutional republic governed by the rule of law.
Indeed, Codevilla sees the failed impeachment of Bill Clinton as a harbinger of the end of the republic:
Consider, for example, how republic-killing an event was the ruling class’s support of President Bill Clinton in the wake of his nationally televised perjury. Subsequently, as constituencies of supporters have effectively condoned officials’ abusive, self-serving, and even outright illegal behavior, they have encouraged more and more of it while inuring themselves to it. That is how republics turn into empires from the roots up.
If the Democrats win, Codevilla sees them driving “the transformations that it has already wrought on America to quantitative and qualitative levels that not even its members can imagine.”
They would continue their war on traditional “racist,” “sexist” America with literally nothing to stop them. The
disdain for how other Americans live and think has remained fundamental…. The media reacted to Hillary Clinton’s remark that “half of Trump’s supporters could be put into a ‘basket of deplorables’” as if these sentiments were novel and peculiar to her. In fact, these are unremarkable restatements of our ruling class’s perennial creed.

Thus, despite appearances to the contrary, there is a unified oligarchic Establishment that straddles both the Republican and Democrat parties. This has not been so obvious in previous elections, when Republicans and Democrats were apparently quite different on some issues. However, the rise of Donald Trump has shown that the Establishment is entirely united. For example, billionaires are supporting Hillary Clinton 20–1, whereas in previous elections, they were much more split between the two parties. Not one Fortune 100 CEO is supporting Trump.
The other pillar of the Ruling Class is the media which reflects academic culture and political culture generally. The media, along with academia, and the bureaucracy, have been prime drivers of this top-down revolution, in which the moral and intellectual high ground has been seized by people hostile to the traditional peoples and cultures of the West. This new Ruling Class is completely out of touch with the interests of a majority of its citizens—particularly White Americans. Thus the print media is almost completely in the anti-Trump camp:
The [endorsements] are overwhelmingly against him, and they just keep coming, in language that is notable for its blunt condemnation of the candidate and its “save the Republic’’ tone.
The endorsements are coming not only from the usual mainstream media suspects but also from newspapers that either never before supported a Democrat or had not in many decades—The Dallas Morning News, The Arizona Republic, The Cincinnati Enquirer—or had never endorsed any presidential candidate, like USA Today. TheWall Street Journal has not gone there, at least not yet, but a member of its conservative-leaning editorial board has: Dorothy Rabinowitz, who called Mr. Trump “unfit.”
What’s most striking is the collective sense of alarm they convey—that Mr. Trump is a “dangerous demagogue” (USA Today) whose election would represent a “clear and present danger” (The Washington Post, The Cincinnati Enquirer), or, as The Atlanticeditor Scott Stossel said in an interview Tuesday [October 4, 2016 “a potential national emergency or threat to the Republic.”[The Editorialists Have Spoken; Will Voters Listen?, by Jim Rutenberg, NYT, October 5, 2016 ] [Links in original]
It is ironic indeed that these media people see Trump as threatening the republic when, as Codevilla notes, that republic is already gone as a result of the actions of our new Ruling Class.
Because of this perceived “clear and present danger,” Codevilla argues, from the standpoint of the media, “devotion to truth means not reporting on Donald Trump and people like him as if they or anything they say might be of value.” An important example: Lester Holt, moderator of the first Clinton-Trump debate, skewed questions to favor Clinton, emphasizing perceived Trump’s w
eak points (on his taxes and the so-called birther issue) while completely ignoring Clinton’s blatant financial corruption and other criminal actions.
Similarly, the media in the U.S. and in Europe has been entirely in favor of massive non-white immigration and the never-ending flow of refugees. In both Europe and the U.S., the media has downplayed or ignored crime by immigrants as well as an epidemic of black on white crime. Horrendous crimes by illegal immigrants and recent migrants are treated only as local issues if they are mentioned at all. Unless citizens are reading widely on the internet, they don’t know about these stories.
The MSM environment has been closed off to the message that whites have interests just like everybody else; that identifying as a white person who wants to advance these interests is normal and natural; that race is real; that there are real racial differences in traits important for success in a modern society and that there is no magic wand to change these traits; and finally and most importantly, that immigration and multiculturalism carry huge costs to the historic American nation in terms of social cohesion, social conflict, trust, and willingness to contribute to public goods, like healthcare, welfare, and public infrastructure.
But as Codevilla notes,
Under our ruling class, “truth” has morphed from the reflection of objective reality to whatever has “normative pull”—i.e., to what furthers the ruling class’s agenda, whatever that might be at any given time. That is the meaning of the term “political correctness,” as opposed to factual correctness.”
Truth is whatever you want to make it, just as the Constitution now means whatever the Ruling Class says it means.
While it’s obvious what a Clinton victory would mean, the consequences of a Trump victory are far less certain. Codevilla is pessimistic that there could be real change:
Because it is difficult to imagine a Trump presidency even thinking about something so monumental as replacing an entire ruling elite, much less leading his constituency to accomplishing it, electing Trump is unlikely to result in a forceful turn away from the country’s current direction. Continuing pretty much on the current trajectory under the same class will further fuel revolutionary sentiments in the land all by itself. Inevitable disappointment with Trump is sure to add to them.
But the two great revolutions of the twentieth century—the Bolshevik Revolution and National Socialism—did indeed replace ruling elites. And of course, the fear that a Trump victory would indeed lead to a wholesale replacement of our ruling elite is behind the hysterical opposition that he has received from the entire Establishment.
Codevilla’s conclusion is worth pondering:
We have stepped over the threshold of a revolution. It is difficult to imagine how we might step back, and futile to speculate where it will end. Our ruling class’s malfeasance, combined with insult, brought it about. Donald Trump did not cause it and is by no means its ultimate manifestation. Regardless of who wins in 2016, this revolution’s sentiments will grow in volume and intensity, and are sure to empower politicians likely to make Americans nostalgic for Donald Trump’s moderation. [Emphases added]
Finally, given my research interests, I would be remiss if I did not mention the critical role played by Jews and the organized Jewish community in the changes that are now coming to a head.
There is no question that Jews are a prominent component of our new elite and played a determinative role in passing the watershed 1965 immigration law. I have written five VDARE.com articles on Jewish opposition to Trump, often expressed in terms of Jewish identity, interests in multiculturalism, immigration and refugee policy, and fear of a fascist America.
Given the very powerful position Jews enjoy in the American media (summarized briefly here and more extensively here, pp. xlvi-lvi), they necessarily play a major role in the anti-Trump movement.
Jewish opposition to Trump is virtually unanimous, and in the Republican Party, Jewish neoconservatives are leading the #NeverTrump movement. (One of them, Paul Ryan adviser Dan Senor, is rumored to have leaked the Access Hollywood tape, although the MSM seems reluctant to ask him). According to 538, in 2012, around 70% of money given by Jews directly to candidates went to Obama, while in 2016, 95% has gone to Clinton. Sheldon Adelson, after investing $93 million in the 2012 campaign for Republicans, including $30 million to a Romney PAC, now says he will donate only $45 million, of which only $5 million will go to Trump, the rest going to House and Senate candidates. Codevilla says frankly that a deep unhappiness with the current political culture is brewing that could ultimately lead to a revolutionary upheaval.

More importantly still, Why are there no populist media calls across America for him to be severely publicly censured, required to issue a formal admittance and apology, and possibly even that Debate re-run, in view of his very obvious, unashamed and completely disgraceful partisanship to Clinton ?

I come from Toskëria, Albania. I lived 5 years in Toscana. I speak the Tuscan dialect. I knew of the similarities since before I lived there. I have studied the etymology of Balkan languages for more than a decade. The pastoral words in Aromanian come from Tuscan, not Romanian. Vast tracts of Albanian population come from this mix of Tuscan and natives. Even Naim Frashëri, the muslim national poet, he is Aromanian and cousin of Kristo Frashëri.
It so happens that Tuscan (mainly) became Italian and Toskërisht (mainly) became Albanian. There have been overlapping of populations both in Toscana and Toskëri the last 3,000 years, but there are still many commonalities.
Even then. If it takes so much to integrate Albanians in Italy, why want to share Italy with all of Africa? That Jew, Andrea Segre wants so. This is how dear we the host are to the Jewish parasite. I am participating in the debate in 5 languages, trying to raise awareness.

Using the downfall of the Czar regime at the hands of the jew Bolsheviks is not an accurate comparison to the current situation in America since in the 60 years before that two Czars and one Prime Minister who were implementing social and economic reforms to benefit the masses of peasants and serfs were assassinated by jews and their collaborators. Stolypin, the assassinated Prime Minister, was even trying to establish better relations with the jews but they killed him anyway because they saw that a complete jew takeover was attainable-same reason they killed the two Czars.

A case of masterly understatement if there ever was one!
The one issue I have with this otherwise excellent article is that it implies a significant difference between Republicans and Democrats. There is no substantive difference because the former have abandoned their base a long time ago. The real difference – and opportunity – is represented by Trump, who for that reason is detested by the Republican establishment.

The only real election ‘issue’ : ‘is it good for the Jews?’ Every 4 years the people decide this vital question in terms of foreign and domestic policies.

With respect, I see no credible evidence in support of this thesis. What I see, rather, is the opposite: an ever more rapid US assimilation to worldwide Jewish goals and the Jewish mind-set. Nor would Trump’s election, I believe, indicate anything more than a temporary plateauing of Jewish power and influence, if that.
What’s more, the conduct of Israel and its leaders should not misdirect one into seeing Israel as anything but a storefront. It’s a loss leader, after all, and wouldn’t survive five years, if so long, without subventions from every Western treasury. Its ultimate Jewish masters in the diaspora may indeed have made a grotesque error in allowing Israel to be a storefront with nukes, but the consequences of that potential error—it would be an all too typical example of Jewish overreach, as you say—have, thank God, not yet become a nightmare come true.
I do not dispute the contention that Jewish hegemony is inherently as fragile as ceramic tile, but as long as it is being attacked, figuratively speaking, with heat rather than a hammer, to announce or believe in its imminent breakage is simply misguided.
There is a difference between Jewish assimilation and Jewish loss of influence. The Jews in the USA are indeed assimilating on a large scale :

But that doesn’t mean Jewish influence is waning. I have the impression it is only growing. There is no contradiction here. The more tolerant towards Jews a society becomes, the more Jews will assimilate, but at the same time the more Jews will be able to reach positions of power.
I entirely agree with everything in your last paragraph, Mr. Ryckaert. I persist, however, in thinking that what was once recognizably my nation and yours has assimilated far more to a Jewish model of societal organization than that Jews have “blended in” to an American one.
Think of baseball and football games, where one is inevitably regaled with some sort of “soulful” or hip-hop “interpretation” of the national anthem. Checked in an Italian journal. A Jew, Andrea Segre, poses the rhetorical question “Where did the Albanians go?” Albanians were a big problem in Italy 25 years ago. Albanians and Italians have been together for 3,000 years and are genetically the same, including exchange of populations in both directions. There is a region in South Albania called Toskëria. That comes from Toscana. When Romans conquered Albania, they brought 160,000 Tuscan colons. There are features today in the Albanian language unique to Tuscan and Albanian, like the gerund.
By now I have surrendered. Trump will lose. I will vote, but that’s all about it. Jews have won. And to think of it, all of Trump’s children are married to Jews. We’re denied even such a slim victory. None.
The elites have pinpointed very precisely their next step: collect all guns. That’s been hard until now, getting easier and easier with time. Then their takeover is complete and irreversible: the demographics who would reverse it has been relegated to minority.

Unless Trump can viscerally damage Hillary’s image with the fence sitting White public, either through very negative TV ads, and/or knock-out statements in the next debate about her horrible character flaws, her deceit, and her temperamental unfitness, the (((media))) will continue to poison public opinion about him, and hand the Presidency to the wicked witch of the West.

I was half listening to the radio the other day, when I heard the last 5 or 6 seconds of a list of names of people opposed to Trump, including McCain, the Bushes, and neo-cons. I was expecting the usual anti-Trump diatribe to follow, but the speaker simply asked why would people not vote for Trump with the likes of these people opposing him?
There has been blatant electoral fraud since 2000, and most likely longer. That will not go away in this election, there is too much for George Carlin’s “owners” to lose. The old Chinese curse “May you live in interesting times” may well be at hand.

I have been suspicious of Trump from the start, but at this point the man himself is not the central issue. He is, sincerely or not, representing the anger of the white population in what can only be characterized as an “anti-Jewish revolt”.
As always, there are plenty of Jews ensconced on both sides of this election so that regardless of the outcome, important positions in the new administration will likely be filled by Jews…unless of course Trump turns out to be sincere (I know, a long shot). But Trump will advance our cause in victory or defeat regardless of his intentions. So we really have no choice at this point, it is too late to form a real opposition party for this election cycle (I have thought from the beginning that this was Trump’s role in this election, to pre-empt the emergence of a real opposition party). We must vote for the revolution, which means voting for Trump.
I get what you’re saying. And I’ve been aware of his new york jew connection from the beginning, but seeing it on video, with an all star lineup, is depressing. As they play both sides giving them controlled opposition and ensuring that israel is the winner, it makes me wonder what the individual profit motive is. I suspect a stock market crash, and sky rocketing commodities as a result of this shabboth goys win. Such a deal!

That fear is well-founded.
There is a DEEP split in the US ruling class over the depth and pace of Globalisation. Is this any wonder? The deeper the connections of Trump with a wing of that divided class, the more apparent is the split. Just think of the unprecedented dirt thrown in this Presidential election! Likely economic interests – Winners vs – relative – Losers – are at the root of it rather than any real concern for cultural-racial interests.
I’m not overly hopeful that Trump is going to be able to deport these people, never mind build a wall. There’s probably 50 or so million illegal Mexicans living within the borders of the United States as we speak. However, what Trump has accomplished, is the partial destruction of the Republican party, and consequently partial destruction of the ruling class. This has already been accomplished.
The traitors like Ryan and the rest have been outed, so they will no longer be able to sell their lukewarm “conservatism” to the “rubes” in the party. Everyone now knows they are on the side of the Global World Order, and are not serving the American people. I don’t think we’re ever going to see another one of these phony elections, where the two sides argue over tax cuts and abortion. Thankfully, those days are over and America finally seems to be growing up.

The coming revolution is long overdue, but I cannot say that I am “looking forward to it”. In fact, I ponder the implications of this revolution with a sense of dread and fear. Fear for my children and my grandchildren.
This revolution is, whether we want to couch it in these terms or not, another anti-Jewish revolt by European (derived) people. We know from history that Jewish power will not accept defeat, but will raze entire nations if need be to retain their power. the last great anti-Jewish revolt is more commonly referred to as WW2, when the German nation sought to cast off Jewish rule. In retaliation organized Jewry set about fomenting war between all of the other nations where they held sway against the resurgent German nation. The end result was the utter destruction of Germany, the stripping away of much of its territory (and the ethnic cleansing of those Germans living in those territories) and the rending in two of that part not parceled out to others. Even more horrendous was the fate of the Germans themselves, who have been indoctrinated to feel shame and hatred for their own people.
What we have today is a revolt which is building across virtually all European based societies, but here in the USA we are witnessing a revolt at the heart of Jewish power. It has been Jewish control of the USA (and of Britain before it) which has provided Jewry with the brute force to impose their will on the world.
I have no illusions about just how far Jewish power will go to suppress this rebellion. Rather than see a resurgent nationalist America, Jewish power will undoubtedly prefer to see the entire North American continent laid waste and our people utterly destroyed.

By comparison, the Middle Ages were filled with enlightened and brilliant thinkers.

I see those who make such suggestions as death-bringing enemies.— That is a clear opinion and therefore I do not loose time with half-way discussions. We Germans owe nothing to anyone else, but we owe everything to our own children and grand-children. —With this short sentences I have made my mind clear and every other thing and action stands upon this ground-stone. Therefore: Keep your work and company clear and tidy. Connect with others who think and do in the same way. Avoid contact with “Gutmenschen” (liberals?). Be good to yourself and those that you like. —
A look at the situation of today, if we do not act it will be worse in the future: Today in Paris the non-whites destroyed the windows of two police cars, threw bootles with a burning fluid (Molotowcocktail) inside and held the doors closed from the outside so that the 4 policemen and -women could not easily leave the burning cars. They were injured by the flames, but they survived.
You know, in the end, I don’t see apocalyptic scenarios either way. The heightened sense of white identity is a good thing, for it lets people realize the choice is between 800 military bases abroad and demographic and cultural integrity. At this point, it is not possible to have both. Nor, for that matter, should it ever have been. Britain, Russia, and France, all three Great Powers, nuclear powers, and UNSC members, have a mere 30 military bases abroad combined.

So, some form of civic nationalism and disengagement from this monstrous occupation of more than 3/4 of the world will have to be implemented, if for economic reasons alone. This is the Trump policy, and I believe it is the correct one. The Clinton policy – Anglo-Brazil demographics, mass immigration and Cultural Marxism at home plus neocon wars abroad, is doomed to failure.
The more likely outcome, and one which terrifies the neocons and media, is simply peaceful relations with the rest of the world, a sensible immigration policy, and domestic policies that preserve and promote the well-being of the base population of the US. From there, relations with the rest of the world – NATO, foreign bases, immigration, trade – will be made based on the best interests of the American people rather than secretive and unaccountable elites.

We cannot know what the future will bring, but I think that in the last two chapters of Der Untergang des Abendlandes, Oswald Spengler made some very prescient guesses.

Spengler’s most relevant prediction appears in “Hour of Decision” written a short time before he died and WW2 went ahead, despite his disregarded cautions to Hitler to avoid “a ring-fence around Germany”, a “zoological” antisemitism and a “Napoleonic adventure in Russia”. Despite the efforts of Nietzsche’s sister, Spengler and Hitler never saw eye to eye.
In the work cited, he warned against the greatest danger when “race war” would combine with “class war” to finish off the white world, even if the voice of Bolshevik Moscow had ceased. This is precisely what we face today with Global South mass-migration plus the renascent international socialist revolution awaiting the next global bank crisis.
Hitler was correct about one thing: Spengler was too pessimistic. The great German historian-philosopher writing so brilliantly a CENTURY ago was too enamored of the Classical model, and did not pursue his key insight into the distinct difference from our Western Civilization, namely our “Faustian” character, whereby uniquely our scientific skill and adventurist enterprise could prolong our life, and possibly renew it.
