Surprisingly good interview with Marjorie Taylor Greene

December 5, 2023/12 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

I had the impression that MTG was a brainless bimbo on the basis of the “Jewish Space Lasers” allegation, although I wouldn’t have called her a “crazed, Nazi, anti-Semite,” as was common the media. She denies saying it and Tucker says he can’t confirm that she said it. The interview is a good snapshot of the deep problems of the GOP—way too many stuffed shirts (she names a few) who are in it only to get all the benefits that such an office holds and fail  to do all they can to push back on the leftist agenda; e.g., her proposal to impeach the evil Mayorkas was labeled “immature” by the head of the committee that would act on it. She also goes off on Trump hate, gender madness, Mike Johnson, the endless wars, funding for the Ukraine war, and wonders why Israel can’t fund its own wars. If politics is the art of the possible, we’d be much better off if she was more in the mainstream of the GOP, rather than a pariah.

Ep. 43 You think elected Republicans in Washington are craven frauds who’d sell your children for a steak dinner at the French Laundry? Actually, says Marjorie Taylor Greene, it’s worse than that. pic.twitter.com/F9Q0Xvo9m2

Jews and Cold War Spying

December 4, 2023/11 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

Patrick Cleburne writes at vdare on Cold War spying, describing and interview between Peter Brimelow and Diana West: https://vdare.com/articles/wondering-why-u-s-immigration-policy-is-run-by-communists-listen-to-diana-west-and-peter-brimelow

As he notes, the great majority of spies for the USSR were Jews—part of the pro-communist Jewish left that was very mainstream in the Jewish community. Cleburne’s vdare article references an article by John Graham in TOO which contains the following:

What younger observers will be able to recognize, however, is the familiar pattern of fanatical denial of truth and willful ignoring of reality still occurring in MSM discussions of these matters, for instance in the New York Times obituary for Coplon: Judith Coplon, Haunted by Espionage Case, Dies at 89 by Sam Roberts (March 1, 2011).

Judith Socolov, who as a diminutive Barnard graduate named Judith Coplon was convicted of espionage more than 60 years ago after embracing a utopian vision of communism and falling in love with a Soviet agent, died Saturday in Manhattan.

Coplon was convicted of course not for utopianism or falling in love, but for betraying her (putative) country at the time of its greatest peril – Germany and Japan never threatened America the way the Soviet Union did. …

It stems of course from the fact that the overwhelming majority of the important spies for Russia were Jews. Coplon, the Rosenbergs, Harry Dexter White, Theodore Hall , Maurice Halperin – the list goes on and on. There were a few leftist WASPS – Alger Hiss, Lauchlin Currie, Elizabeth Bentley – but they were distinctly a minority.

Kissinger, the WEF, and Open Borders

December 1, 2023/11 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

This article doesn’t get into Israeli issues, but a search on TOO yields quite a few references, including this by Patrick Slattery.

By Seamus Bruner, at Breitbart

Kissinger is a central character in my new book, Controligarchs: Exposing the Billionaire Class, Their Secret Deals, and the Globalist Plot to Dominate Your Life, which unearths critical details about the man who shaped the modern world, particularly by helping to shackle the American economy to the Chinese.

The book contains little-known details about Kissinger—including his success in making population control official U.S. domestic policy and his mentorship of a young Klaus Schwab before the latter’s establishment of the World Economic Forum (WEF) as the home of the global elite. Many Controligarchs might prefer these true stories be buried along with Kissinger.

…

But before Kissinger turned Schwab into the Davos Man he is today, Kissinger became an agent of the Rockefeller dynasty. From 1954 until 1958, Kissinger was the Rockefeller Brothers Fund Director of Special Studies. The resultant 600-page globalist manifesto called Prospect for America was read around the world, and scholars agree that the Prospect for America defined a postwar “liberal consensus.”

As journalist and historian Godfrey Hodgson put it, the Rockefeller-Kissinger work became “a handbook of the shared assumptions of the American governmental and business elite.” Indeed, the Kissinger handbook stated that “the indispensable world order…is basic to the American consensus” and that the United Nations “is proof of our conviction that problems which are of world-wide impact must be dealt with through institutions global in their scope.”

Kissinger returned to Harvard to run the Defense Studies Program between 1958 and 1971. It was during this time that he shaped Klaus Schwab’s future. He mentored Schwab at Harvard in 1966-1967, just a few years before Schwab founded the European Management Symposium, which was the predecessor of the World Economic Forum (WEF), in 1971 and apparently followed Kissinger’s directive to form a global scope institution that deals with crises of “world-wide impact.” The two became lifelong friends, and Kissinger was a frequent keynote speaker in Davos.

On the surface, it may seem an odd pairing: Kissinger, a Jewish holocaust refugee, and Schwab, the son of a German engineer whose industrial company supplied Adolf Hitler’s war effort. ”’

But in fact, the two were a perfect match. Born in 1934 in Ravensburg (the first German city to forcibly sterilize “undesirable” citizens), Schwab was not yet born when Hitler came to power and still a child when World War II broke out. As I wrote in Controligarchs:

Klaus was too young to participate in Hitler’s regime. But growing up in wartime Germany left a lasting impression on the boy. Unable to associate his national identity with the Nazis amidst the chaos of their failed regime, he craved nothing more than identity and order. Ultimately, Klaus found his identity—not as a citizen of Germany—but as a citizen of the world.

The same is true of other ancient globalists like nonagenarian George Soros who famously told 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft that witnessing the confiscation of the property of fellow Jews during the Nazi Holocaust was “not at all” difficult because it was going to happen “whether I was there or not.” Thus, the self-described “citizen of the world” Soros offered a familiar tragedy-of-the-commons rationalization. “In a funny way, it’s just like in markets,” he told Kroft, explaining that someone would have confiscated the property regardless of what he did.

The Rockefellers were notorious for funding depopulation efforts of every kind, including birth control and abortifacients, eugenics, and even the development of an “anti-fertility vaccine.” In one 1969 proposal from Planned Parenthood’s Frederick Jaffe to Rockefeller’s Population Council President Bernard Berelson, Jaffe lists “compulsory” sterilizations and abortions, efforts to “encourage increased homosexuality,” and even putting “fertility control agents in the water supply” as potential ways to curb population growth.

Five years later, a 1974 National Security Study Memorandum for the “Kissinger Report” articulated a “U.S. Global Population Strategy,” turning Rockefeller’s control ambitions into official U.S. government policy. The Kissinger Report sought to actively “Create Conditions for Fertility Decline,” to “Improve Fertility Control Technology,” and to wage an anti-family propaganda war on the masses via the “Utilization of Mass Media and Satellite Communications System for Family Planning.”

Kissinger’s Prospect handbook for the elite corporate class revealed at least one ulterior reason why the Controligarchs seem hellbent on controlling population growth: less population equals fewer potential enemies. “Fortunately… [Japan’s] population increase brought under control,” the report says of the recent Axis enemy. The report spills considerable ink on the threat of growing (communist) populations.

The Controligarchs would prefer that history forget that Western organizations like their Club of Rome were responsible for convincing China to adopt a brutal “one-child” depopulation program. And Rockefellers’ biographers wrote that in the first half of the twentieth century, “Communist countries were opposed to any programs of action in the population field” — sound pro-growth logic. It took a number of years before Rockefeller efforts made “enough of an impact to stir Malthusian fears of a ‘population explosion’ in the public mind.”

Kissinger’s Prospect for America was used by President John F. Kennedy and his successors to craft both foreign and domestic policy, which included the opening of America’s borders to cheap foreign labor.

Kissinger has since admitted that opening Western borders to more diverse cultures may be an error. “It was a grave mistake to let in so many people of totally different culture and religion and concepts because it creates a pressure group inside each country that does that,” he said in one of his final public statements regarding pro-Hamas protests in Germany last month. [Who could have predicted that?}

The Prospect for America manifesto was rightly anti-Communist, but its proposed “indispensable” solution to the Chinese communist problem—“sustained economic and technical co-operation and unimpeded exchange of goods and services”—has played out over the decades with disastrous consequences for middle class citizens everywhere. [And made China a superpower.]

Nelson Rockefeller introduced Kissinger to Nixon and thereby brought him into the limelight—from a behind-the-scenes influencer to a star diplomat on center stage. Since then, Kissinger and the Rockefellers and many other Controligarchs got rich from the CCP relationship. And they took pride in their integral role in building up China. Klaus Schwab, for his part, boasts of the WEF’s efforts to develop China’s economic system as a hybrid of communism and capitalism.

Today, Chinese state-run media cites Kissinger’s 2022 WEF address in Davos as proof that the U.S. government does not actually support Taiwan’s right to exist, but rather officially upholds “the principle of one China.”

And while, like Soros, Kissinger became an American citizen, their loyalties were to something loftier. Kissinger, Schwab, and Soros were born to build a New World Order. Woodrow Wilson spoke of a “new international order” as early as 1919, but the term was popularized by British author H.G. Wells in his 1940 book titled “The New World Order,” lending the term a definition that still applies. “It is the practical realization of the brotherhood of man,” Wells wrote, “through a common control.”

Bringing rigid order to a chaotic world was an ambitious goal—one that both the political right and left endeavored to effectuate. Kissinger spoke of the virtues of a new world order in which no single nation, including the U.S., would be a dominant player. Rather, a balance of power between the U.S., China, and other powerful nations was “a necessity.” More recently, in 2009, Soros said, “I think you need a new world order, that China has to be part of the process of creating it and they have to buy in.”

And just last month, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink praised Kissinger as an “amazing man, especially at 101 [sic].” His firm has been carrying on Kissinger’s globalist pro-China legacy despite some setbacks. A BlackRock “2023 Outlook” assures that a new world order is finally here with a “new regime” of greater “volatility” and “persistently higher inflation.”

In other words, the future that Kissinger and the Controligarchs have built looks decidedly grim.

Cuomo Aide: How We Killed New York

November 30, 2023/2 Comments/in General/by Ann Coulter
Cuomo Aide: How We Killed New York

I’ve just finished reading the hilariously terrible book “What’s Left Unsaid” by Melissa DeRosa, secretary to former Gov. Andrew Cuomo (New York) that is so unself-aware, so arrogant, so embarrassing that I have to review it.

I only read it in the first place because I wanted to interview Cuomo on my Substack, figuring that after his defenestration, he’d be a fun interview. But I’m willing to sacrifice that possibility just to wallow in the awfulness of this book. (Plus, recent press reports say he’s thinking of running for mayor of New York, so it’s topical.)

Most dumbfounding, DeRosa brags about Cuomo bullying everyone into implementing his tyrannical COVID policies — all of which, as we now know, accomplished absolutely nothing (other than causing half a million New Yorkers to flee the state, making 2020–2021 New York’s largest single-year population loss in history).

— First, Cuomo bulldozed the legislature into giving him emergency powers to “institute mass quarantines, order businesses to close, suspend laws and issue sweeping directives.”

His COVID diktats did squat to slow the spread of COVID, but they did destroy businesses, annihilate cultural institutions, kill budding careers, stunt children’s educational development and delay urgent medical care, among other things. (What’s the word for that, again? It begins with an “A” … describes a strongman …)

— Next, Cuomo closed all public colleges in the state and browbeat private universities into doing the same.

In the first year of the pandemic, there were a grand total 648 deaths among 15-to-24-year-olds in the entire country — and we don’t know what other health problems those kids had. Cuomo ruined hundreds of thousands of young lives for no reason.

— Then, he badgered Mayor Bill de Blasio into shutting down public schools in New York City — over the objections of the (wildly left-wing) mayor and the teachers union. As DeRosa puts it, both “were adamantly opposed to closing schools in the city, no ifs, ands or buts about it.”

One week after the governor had demanded that de Blasio close the schools, DeRosa writes, “the governor was done waiting.” He peremptorily called into a local TV station and simply announced that the city’s public schools were closed.

This was the single worst decision made during COVID, as even The New York Times has admitted. The little tykes were at essentially zero risk from COVID. But shutting down schools did irreparable harm to their cognitive and psychological development.

— Next, Cuomo bullied President Trump into sending the military to convert the Javits Center and the USS Comfort into field hospitals for New York City.

“’This will get Trump’s attention,’” Cuomo predicted of his op-ed. “The piece ran [in the Times] the next day under the headline: ‘ANDREW CUOMO TO PRESIDENT TRUMP: MOBILIZE THE MILITARY TO HELP FIGHT CORONAVIRUS.’”

A kazillion dollars later, it turned out these temporary hospitals were completely unnecessary. They were shuttered after about a month, at which time the Javits Center had a grand total of 72 patients for its 2,500 beds.

— Finally, Cuomo demanded that upstate hospitals send all their ventilators to New York City, leaving upstate residents high and dry. He even forced recalcitrant private hospitals to relinquish their ventilators by calling the CEOs and threatening: “I will personally pull your operating license.”

Everyone now knows that ventilators were wildly overused and killed a lot of patients because COVID confused the oxygen readings, meaning the mechanical breathing tubes were unnecessary.

It could be argued that some of these policies were not known to be utterly catastrophic when Cuomo imposed them. But 1) That’s why it’s not a good idea to give one man the authority to “institute mass quarantines, order businesses to close, suspend laws and issue sweeping directives”; and 2) Now that we do know, why would you write a book reminding everyone that it was your boss who forced these policies on the public? It’s like bragging that he was the guy who made doctors give Thalidomide to pregnant women.

DeRosa seems quite pleased with herself for her own contribution to New York’s ludicrous COVID rules. She was the one, for example, who pushed for a quarantine on travelers from states like Texas, Florida and Arizona.

To his credit, Cuomo initially rejected the idea, saying, “Isn’t that exactly what we opposed back in March when Rhode Island threatened to quarantine New Yorkers?” To his discredit, he then acceded to Madam Ceausescu.

DeRosa was also the one whose bright idea it was to wreck New Yorkers’ 2020 Christmas holidays by insisting on a 10 p.m. curfew on bars and restaurants. She says she’d have preferred to “unilaterally close all bars, restaurants and other State Liquor Authority–licensed establishments” but was worried that “there would be no public buy-in.” (You think?)

To really nail down the nuking of everyone’s holidays, she also “advocated that we limit indoor and outdoor gatherings at private residences to no more than 10 people.”

Again, at first, Cuomo objected, on the grounds that the idea was insane, but quickly deferred to his drunk-with-power assistant.

Amazingly, DeRosa still doesn’t understand the virus she dedicated a year of her life to suppressing. In humble-brag fashion, she recounts her conversation with a senior health official early in the pandemic:

Health official: “'[A]ccording to top medical professionals at the CDC and WHO, by all accounts, this virus acts like, well, the flu,’ he said.

“’The flu?’ I asked, honestly confused.

“’Yes, the flu; that’s what the federal government is saying.’

“’Okay, accepting that premise, can I ask you a stupid question?’ I went on. [This is always the tip-off that sheer brilliance is coming.]

“’Of course.’

“’Isn’t the major difference between this and the flu that the flu has a vaccine?’”

Although the “health official” agreed (naturally), that was a stupid question. A vaccine is not the main difference at all. The difference is: Our immune systems were familiar with the flu but had never encountered anything like COVID before.

The 1918 flu virus is still in circulation, and yet 50 million people don’t die of it every year because our immune systems recognize it. Now that we’ve all been exposed to COVID, it is just like the flu. (Also, FYI, only about half of adults in America get the flu shot anyway, and its effectiveness, year to year, is a crapshoot.)

Finally, it’s nice that DeRosa’s COVID lockdown was a blast, but kind of annoying to have her tell us about it. While poor families were jammed like sardines into tiny living quarters for a year, DeRosa spent her lockdown living like a queen.

She moved into the “Princess Beatrix suite” at the governor’s mansion, which, she says, had “a large bedroom and a separate sitting room with its own fireplace. There was an en suite bathroom, multiple closets to hang my perpetually wrinkled clothing in and an antique vanity.”

While gyms were closed throughout the state, she worked out in the mansion’s gym every day. While pools were closed and gatherings of more than 10 people banned, she regularly worked, dined and hung out by the mansion’s pool.

Once a week, DeRosa helicoptered with the governor to New York City. Whizzing through the city in the governor’s car one day, she describes the deserted streets of the once-bustling metropolis as “haunting and yet somehow beautiful.”

I’m sure little Pedro, who spent his lockdown in a one-bedroom apartment with his abusive father, drunk mother and seven siblings, appreciates these poetic reflections on the empty city created by you, Melissa. It makes you sound like a really swell person.

Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) als kontrollierte Opposition

November 28, 2023/7 Comments/in General, Translations: German/by Tom Sunic, Ph.D.

32 Sitzen entspricht.

Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon on the Irish Riots

November 28, 2023/6 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

The immigrant who did the stabbing had never had a job in 20 years—living on the dole, just like all the recent immigrants (subsidized by the EU). Bannon: Ruling class doesn’t trust the native working class in the West; throughout the West, speech is being criminalized or at least deplatformed. 15 million illegals to the US during Biden’s presidency. “It’s only going to get worse.” The uniparty does nothing.

Musk Caves

Elon Musk, under fire for antisemitism on X, visits Israel and tours ravaged kibbutz with Benjamin Netanyahu

(JTA) — Elon Musk, the tech titan who is under fire for his role in amplifying antisemitism on his social media platform X, visited Israel on Monday and toured the devastation at a kibbutz ravaged by Hamas on Oct. 7 alongside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Musk toured the kibbutz, where dozens of people were killed and an estimated 17 were kidnapped. Afterward, Musk and Netanyahu spoke live on X, formerly known as Twitter, about Musk’s reaction to seeing Kfar Aza and a video that Israel compiled showing footage from the day of the massacre.

Musk said the experience was “jarring” and that he was struck by what appeared to be “joy” on the part of the terrorists in the video.

“The rebuttal is often made that well, you know, Israel has killed civilians also in Gaza,” he said. “But there’s an important difference here, which is that Israel tries to avoid killing civilians, doing everything it can to avoid killing civilians. And, you know, there’s not sort of joy expressed.” [14000 civilian deaths, mostly women and children, despite “doing everything it can to avoid killing civilians.]

Musk also said that “there’s no choice” but for Israel to destroy Hamas, but that Israel then needs to “help those that remain,” likening a future postwar scenario to the post-World War II U.S. occupation of Germany and Japan.

Musk’s visit comes as he faces continued criticism over his engagement with antisemites on X and over the platform’s role in fueling misinformation about Oct. 7. Last week, multiple major advertisers dropped the platform after Musk called an endorsement of the antisemitic “Great Replacement” theory the “actual truth.” [Which it is.]

(After speaking with Musk, the Anti-Defamation League’s CEO praised Musk, who later tweeted that he would be donating X’s revenue associated with the war to hospitals in Israel and the Red Crescent in Gaza.) [Amazing.]
