Barack to the Future: A Posturing White Narcissist Prepares to Follow a Posturing Black Narcissist

July 18, 2026/3 Comments/in British Politics, Featured Articles/by Tobias Langdon

Andy Burnham will fail. That’s a very safe bet: the new British prime minister will fail. The only questions are how badly and how quickly he’ll fail. He’s like a naked man armed with a water-pistol and eager for battle with a grizzly bear, a saber-tooth tiger and a large swarm of killer-bees. In other words, he’s eager to govern the Yookay, a racially and religiously fractured country that’s replete with Third-World pathologies and is speeding ever faster towards bankruptcy and civil war. And what is he armed with? A degree in English Literature, for Shoah’s sake! Burnham is an intellectually mediocre narcissist with absolutely no grasp of the importance of STEM and the complexity of politics. He’s a perfect example of someone who believes that words rule the world and that symbollox are supreme.

That’s why his senior adviser will be not the highly intelligent and knowledgeable Dominic Cummings, but the highly devious and dishonest Matthew McGregor, an activist from that devotee of the Deep State, the anti-racist group Hope Not Hate. The name of that group is another excellent example of leftist logolatry, of woke word-worship. The crypto-communists of Hope Not Hate use word-webs against the intractable biological reality of racial difference. That’s why they support “hope” and oppose “hate,” you see. It’s words over world again. Their crypto-communist comrade Andy Burnham has spoken of his mission to put “hope in every heart.” It’s a fatuous, flatulent phrase that reminds me irresistibly of a previous leftist leader armed with a logocentric degree and a deep trust in the supremacy of symbollox.

Risible rhetoricians

Yes, the EngLit-ter Andy Burnham is very like the lawyer Barack Obama, another intellectually mediocre narcissist who offered “Hope and Change” to a country speeding towards bankruptcy and civil war. Obama didn’t rescue America, of course. Instead, he stamped pedal to the metal on the Highway to Hell. Burnham will do the same in Britain. That’s why I’d compare Barack O-Burnham with the famous hard-rock band Deep Purple. Like Barack Obama and Andy Burnham in the political world, Deep Purple entered the musical world on a mission to succeed. Unlike Obama and Burnham, the members of Deep Purple understood their world and the route to success there. They needed to competently and convincingly apply a simple formula: play very loudly on themes of speed, excitement and humor that would appeal to young men across the Western world.

Two deceivers doomed to failure: risible rhetoricians Barack Obama and Andy Burnham

Deep Purple understood their world and achieved enormous success. Determined Poseur Barack Obama did neither. Nor will Determined Poseur Andy Burnham. Deep Purple succeeded because they were highly competent musicians. The Determined Poseurs have and will fail because they’re risible rhetoricians. The members of Deep Purple enthusiastically applied a self-devised dictum of ELTEE – “Everything Louder Than Everything Else.” At the same time, they knew that ELTEE was just a clever joke. Like “square triangle” or “sane leftist,” it describes an impossibility. Its semantics are self-referential, which is why it seems to explode in the mind so oddly and amusingly: “The drums are louder than the guitars and the guitars are louder than the drums, and the vocals are louder than both, and both are louder than the vocals…”

A biochemist who says “Bollocks” to biology: the Oxford trans-fetishist Matt Rattley

There are political equivalents of “Everything Louder Than Everything Else.” Think of slogans like “Diversity Is Our Strength” and “Transwomen Are Women.” Like ELTEE, those slogans describe impossibilities; unlike ELTEE, they’re accepted as sacred truths by millions of deluded people. Andy Burnham still accepts “Diversity Is Our Strength” as a sacred truth, but is no longer proclaiming so loudly that “Transwomen Are Women.” That’s typical of Burnham: politically speaking, he’s what the late leftist lunatic Tony Benn called a weathervane, not a sign-post. Weathervanes swing with the political wind; sign-posts always point in the same direction. The toxicity of transgenderism is becoming more and more obvious, which is why Andy Burnham has swung against it.

A malevolent meteor-malefactor

But Burnham still refuses to be honest about transgenderism, which is why he hasn’t highlighted a transloony from his own neck of the woods. Burnham is from Merseyside, the district around Liverpool in north-west England. So is a transloony called Darren Rigby, who’s currently in jail for threatening “to massacre pupils at schools for girls in response to the treatment of ‘transwomen’.” Like Burnham, Darren Rigby believes in rhetoric over reality. As you read some of his rhetoric, bear in mind that he was addressing it to girls who live very near the town of Southport and the scene of Axel Rudakubana’s murder-and-mutilation in 2024:

Poisonous punim, malevolent meteor-malefactor: Darren Rigby’s evil ideology is easy to read in his face.

Darren Rigby, 21, specifically targeted all-girls schools when he sent a series of messages threatening to “shoot and stab all of your girls,” and referred to the students using the slur “TERFs,” a derogatory acronym which stands for “trans exclusionary radical feminist.”

Rigby was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on June 1 [2026] after he admitted to making threats to three girls’ schools across Merseyside over the space of a week in January. In each case, Rigby contacted school officials via email and threatened to murder students in retaliation for the plight of trans-identified men, commonly referred to as “trans women.”

As reported by The Southport Lead, the court heard that Rigby described the “oppression” of “trans women,” but had had no prior interaction with anyone affiliated with the schools he targeted. The only link connecting the schools was the fact that they were exclusively for females. […] In the first incident, which occurred on January 19, Rigby claimed he was already hiding inside the Holly Lodge Girls’ College in West Derby and waiting to attack. The only way to prevent students from being slaughtered, Rigby said, would be for the women and girls to make a public apology to “trans women.” Police were called and the school was forced to shut down for the day. […]

On January 23, Rigby contacted Greenbank High School in Southport. The court heard that an email was sent at 12:53pm which warned that he would massacre the girls in attendance in order to make a point about “misgendering trans women like me.” It continued: “I am on my way to the school with a revolver and a machete and I’m going to shoot and stab all of your girls. You TERFs are going to learn to stop mocking, deadnaming and misgendering transwomen like me. If anyone attempts to stop me, they will be shot and I will release a blood agent into the school which will poison you.” […]

Three days later, January 26, Rigby sent threats to The Belvedere Academy in Liverpool. At 8:30am, headteacher Julie Taylor was informed that a threatening message had been sent during the night. The email read: “I have managed to gain access to the school and I’m now hiding somewhere in the school with a crossbow and a sword. When your girls come into school I will be jumping out. I’m going to kill every girl and woman staff member I come across.” The academy was placed in lockdown for the day. The faces are different, the malevolence is the same: leftist narcissists Darren Rigby and Andy Burnham

Yes, like Andy Burnham, Darren Rigby believes in rhetoric over reality. Unlike Andy Burnham, Rigby isn’t good-looking and you can easily read the malevolence of his ideology in his face. But you can’t easily read about Rigby’s ideology in the mainstream media. The fiercely feminist Guardian didn’t report on his crimes at all. Elsewhere, the BBC and others did their best to conceal his transgenderism and his grievances. Leftists are determined to make Darren Rigby a meteor-malefactor, a criminal who flashes through the headlines and disappears for ever because his crimes do not serve the leftist cause.

But imagine if he had been a “far-right” supporter of Andrew Tate or Tommy Robinson and had made threats of violence to some of the Muslim girls’ schools springing up all over the Yookay. He wouldn’t have been a meteor malefactor then, but a permanent and regularly re-reported exhibit in the Hyperdrome of Hate. “Heads We Win, Tails You Lose” — that’s one of the two central principles of leftism. The other is “Preach Equality, Practise Hierarchy.” Those are malevolent principles and leftist Andy Burnham believes firmly in both of them. The  malevolence of his ideology isn’t visible in his face, but have no doubt that it’s there in his brain. The malevolence of Burnham’s ideology is just as certain as the failure of his premiership.

“What is your programme, King Andy, for national solvency, national defence, national cohesion?”
    “Look at Manchester.”
“Thank you. We can look forward to more taxes, more crimes, more immigrants.”
“Hope in every heart. Need I say more on a mere £172,000 a year, plus PM expenses?”

Burnham was selected because apparently Manchester wasn’t as bad as London. One wonders whether Manchester thrived (read: survived) in spite of Burnham rather than because of him.
