“The Incredible Lightness of Biden”

July 2, 2024/2 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

In my recent blog on the debate I contended that everyone knew Biden was impaired—even the big liberal media who were covering up for  him because they were satisfied that he was doing a great job because they were getting what they wanted out of him policy-wise because of the people around him who were actually running his administration. Yesterday’s appearance where he commented on the SCOTUS decision on presidential immunity isn’t going to change anyone’s minds. He read a teleprompter for 5 minutes and then left, taking no questions. Same for his North Carolina speech last Friday and a fund-raising talk in the Hamptons (where all the New York financial money lives).

But the other point was that Biden won’t quit because he is fundamentally a typical American sociopath politician who cannot possibly be moved by asking him to do something for the good of the country. Sociopaths are typically self-centered and narcissistic, and I mentioned an article that I couldn’t locate that showed this side of his character. Well, Tobias Langdon found it: “The Incredible Lightness of Biden,” by neocon John Podhoretz, August 19, 2012 in the New York Post. Notice that this was 12 years ago when he was 69. Biden is incoherent and in love with what’s coming out of his mouth to the point that he assumes people are hanging on his every word when they’re not. Not exactly an endorsement for his people skills. The big question is why Obama picked him for vice-president when, as Podhoretz notes, everyone in Washington has a similar story about Biden.

The incredible lightness of Biden

Everyone who has done time in Washington politics or media has a Joe Biden story, and every story is pretty much the same. Here’s mine:

A quarter-century ago, Sen. Joseph R. Biden of Delaware, then in his third term, came in for a lunch with a few editors and reporters at the newspaper where I worked. Its editor welcomed Biden and asked him a question about whatever story was at the top of the news agenda that day.

Biden started talking. And talking. And talking. He spoke and he gesticulated. He wandered off into secondary subjects, and secondary subjects of the secondary subjects. He conjured up a memory of his childhood, and then told a tale from his first campaign.

After 20 minutes without so much as a breath, it was clear to me and others around the table that there was something wrong — that our guest simply did not know how to conclude his peroration.

We shifted in our chairs. Someone coughed. Someone else sighed. The door loomed behind us, tormenting us with the blessings of an escape we simply could not make.

It was not until 45 minutes after he had begun that Joseph I. Biden simply ran out of gas. He came to no conclusion, no closing thought. He just stopped talking, looked down, and at last took a bite of food and drank some water.

I had never been through anything like it. Biden had displayed a literally clinical display of logorrhea, a term Google defines for me as “pathologically incoherent, repetitive speech.”

That condition has never gone away. On April 3 of this year, Biden appeared at a high school in Norfolk, Va., where he was asked a question about gas prices.

“I’m going to give you a brief answer,” he said. “I’m going to give it to you as quick and as straight as I can.”

He then proceeded to speak . . . for 11 minutes. You can watch the video. It’s a little bit like watching Dustin Hoffman in “Rain Man.” Biden walked back and forth, making little eye contact with the audience, as his thoughts poured out of his mouth. Going on. And on.

He spent decades in the Senate doing just this, which was permissible since there are no limits imposed on the amount of time a senator may speak. In her book, “The Obamas,” Jodi Kantor tells a story about Barack Obama, in the first of his three years in the Senate, listening to an endless Biden oration. The future president scribbled a note to an aide. It said: “Kill. Me. Now.”

Some notes on Controlled opposition, spies and snitches.

June 30, 2024/5 Comments/in General/by Ganainm

It is reasonable to assume that an article about this topic will be at some point read by a member of the controlled opposition. If this is you, relax: your name will not be mentioned!

The spy and the snitch concentrate on collecting information, but the controlled opposition concentrates ón putting ideas in your head.

It’s a tale as old as history. If the New Testament is accurate, Judas did the job two thousand years ago. They appear many times in history before and since. In the 1920s, the Soviets celebrated Judas and set up their own fake opposition amongst emigrant Russian communities around the world, snaring many an unwary and unfortunate person.

George Orwell described the kind, elderly man, nostalgic for the good old days, who turned a blind eye to the opposition meeting in his spare room. Surprise, surprise, even back then, the spare room had a hidden recording device…

A group fighting a legal case against McDonalds in the 1990s found out later that the majority of people attending their support ,meetings were snitches of one sort or another.

It is reasonable to assume that today there is massive use of controlled opposition. It is quite possible to be at an anti government meeting and for a majority of those present to be snitches. Wherever you are in the world, no doubt you can think of some suspicious characters who claim to oppose the government.

The Law of Unintended Consequences is one of the most inspiring and optimistic scientific laws ever discovered. They use controlled opposition to control us, but it has the seeds of its own destruction.

An East German Stasi agent reported that the early demonstrations against the regime included huge numbers of Stasi agents. They had to attend the protests to keep their cover as anti-government activists, but their attendance increased the numbers and encouraged more people to come out and protest.

Controlled opposition is better than no opposition at all. An agent must do some activism to maintain his cover as an activist. Anyone suspected of being an agent should be encouraged to do as much activism as possible.

Here is a categorization of different types of controlled opposition and some hints on how to counteract it:

The Spy Hunter: This character accuses others of being controlled opposition, often accurately. This gives the accuser credibility and promotes division.

The Obvious Spy: Even the kind, trusting and naïve among us notice there is something odd about this character—like the character parading around with a swastika at the Charlottesvill demonstration. This means we waste time thinking about him, and we do not notice the more subtle spy in our midst.

The Distractor: sends us looking the wrong direction at the wrong time. They will shout loudly about some horrific State crime from ten years ago, while exactly the same crime is being committed now.

The Dodgy Hero: This character says all the right things, and even does some of the right things. But his personal and professional life show him to have been dishonest and untrustworthy. This taints what truth he tells. Has he really reformed?

The Downer: As an intelligent person, perhaps you are aware that Things Are Bad? Mass vaccination, mass immigration, mass dumbing down and heavy Zionist influence in your politics, wherever you live, not excluding Gaza, Iran, Russia or China. But spend half an hour with the Downer, and you will realise things are even worse than that…His job is to frighten you with sometimes truthful information and reduce your will to resist: What’s the point? They are too powerful.

Dr Feel Good DoNothing Dude: Three main variants: There is a 5D chess games going on, OR the Good Aliens are coming to rescue us, OR even Jesus Christ himself is working behind the scenes to fix everything. They offer a similar solution: do nothing to publicly challenge the system.

The Hater: various philosophers over the millennia have warned of the danger to ourselves of overindulgence in the emotions of hate and anger, no matter how justified. These emotions warp our personalities and cloud our judgement. They are no doubt useful — in small, brief amounts — in warfare, punishment beatings, and torture, but any long term indulgence in these emotions is dangerous to the indulger. The Hater encourages us to hate and feel anger. The sensible person transmutes these emotions into determination to take useful action.

The Exaggerator (or the Bad Data guy): This character makes a truthful statement, but uses bad data to back it up. An example is a report by a qualified academic critcising the Covid nonsense, with various citations and quotes. When researched, the quotes were wrong or even non-existent! Someone went to a lot of trouble to fake dozens of false quotations, presumably to discredit the main argument.

* * *

One way of dealing with controlled opposition is to laugh at it! It is worth mentioning at all meetings: Hey guys, there’s a possibility that there is someone in this gathering who is a snitch. Our aim is to live such exemplary lives, that the snitch will switch over to our side. We also have a budget for snitches. Whatever they’re paying you, we’ll pay you double. Triple your money and double your fun.

Spies who have told their story often mention how nervous they are when the conversation turns to the topic of spies. Not surprising. It’s worth doing often, in a joking way, obviously without naming or even hinting at anyone. Discretely note reactions of suspicious persons…

By attending Controlled Opposition events, an honest man can make contact with other honest people. Any such event will be designed to fail, and the honest man can point out the failures in a light hearted and helpful way, naming no names, making no allegations, of course. This might embarrass the Controlled Opposition to make their next event less obviously designed to fail.

It is sometimes possible to cajole, and embarrass and joke the Controlled Opposition into taking effective action.

It’s probably a good idea to be on good terms personally with your local Controlled Opposition. The jovial smile, the manly embrace, cheerful conversation about topics of mutual interest. “Chickenfeed” is a useful term from the spy world: truthful information which the other side already knows or which is irrelevant. Never even hint at your suspicions, but occasionally talk in general terms about snitches, no names of course.

Being friendly with your local snitch(es) has personal advantages: Perhaps the snitch will leave your name and activities out of some of his reports. Perhaps your name will be at the end of the activists arrest list, not at the top. Perhaps he might even warn you ten minutes before the cops are due to arrest you.

Sometimes, very, very rarely, the snitch will switch.  This happened in a protest against a Shell gas pipeline in County Mayo (Ireland) some years back. An Englishman had spent a decade as a deep cover snitch in various protest movements, even starting a family with one unsuspecting lady. But he snapped. The Government wanted to jail two of the protestors. The snitch realised that he liked the protestors more than his paymasters. He went to court, gave evidence that he was a snitch, and that the protestors were innocent. Case dismissed!

Alexander Solzhenitsyn tells us how he was able to spot snitches amongst his fellow prisoners: He could sense them.  If you get an odd feeling about someone, pay careful attention to that feeling.

A friend suggests a “three strikes” approach. Notice one suspicious thing? Ok, keep observing. Three suspicious things, and you’ve got a definite!

As the Welsh say: Hwyl!

(translates as: Have Fun or Go Sailing.)

SPLC 2! Wikipedia Demotes The ADL. This Left Split On Gaza/Israel Is Epochal.

June 27, 2024/3 Comments/in General/by Patrick Cleburne
Covering the Southern Poverty Law Center massacre, as in SPLC Union Strikes Another Shattering Blow At $PLC. But Is This A Labor Or A Political Dispute?, I am more than ever convinced that it was actually a purge of pro-Palestinian Leftists to conciliate the SPLC’s donors.

Additionally, I have been very struck at the virtually total absence of MSM reporting.

After all, the $PLC is quite famous, and a much used MSM source.

Now a controversy involving even better known and objectively more important outfits seems to be getting the same treatment. I think the reason may be the same.

H/T RC for sending me ADL faces Wikipedia ban over reliability concerns on Israel, antisemitism, by Asaf Elia-Shalev, Jewish Telegraphic Agency, June 18, 2024.

Wikipedia’s editors have voted to declare the Anti-Defamation League “generally unreliable” on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, adding it to a list of banned and partially banned sources.

An overwhelming majority of editors involved in the debate about the ADL also voted to deem the organization unreliable on the topic of antisemitism, its core focus. A formal declaration on that count is expected…

The century-years old Anti-Defamation League has long been the most powerful Media intimidation operation in America. Unswervingly dedicated to promoting Jewish interests, and hostile to American free speech, it is used to being treated with deference and reverence.

Wikipedia is perhaps the most extraordinary phenomenon of the internet. It self-describes as

the largest and most-read reference work in history,[3][4] and is consistently ranked among the ten most visited websites.

Crucially, it

is a free content online encyclopedia written and maintained by a community of volunteers, known as Wikipedians, through open collaboration

Because of this, the ADL’s standard attack method—going over the management’s head to pressure Wikipedia’s Board with an army of Big Feet—failed ignominiously: Wikipedia’s operator rebuffs Jewish groups’ call to override editors on ADL trustworthiness, by Asaf Elia Shalev, Jewish Telegraphic Agency, June 25, 2024.

The charitable foundation that owns Wikipedia said it respects the decisions of its volunteer editors… to declare the Anti-Defamation League an untrustworthy source on Israel and Zionism…

More than 40 Jewish groups signed a letter addressed to the board of the Wikimedia Foundation

The ADL’s Wikipedia problem is that Wikipedia functions as a democracy. When the SPLC found a significant portion of its staff were pro-Palestinian, it could fire them. Wikipedia cannot defy its volunteers. As the JTA article says:

The move by Wikipedia… to declare that the ADL cannot be trusted on some topics represents a staggering blow to the organization.

If the Wikimedia Foundation were to order a reversal of the ADL’s downgrading, it would be equally staggering. The foundation does not intervene in editorial decisions by its community of editors … A reversal would in all likelihood garner a backlash from among the thousands of veteran editors, who are accustomed to autonomy and who have volunteered countless hours of their lives to run the online encyclopedia.

The article then highlights another parallel with the $PLC story:

A monthslong debate among Wikipedia editors over the ADL’s reliability went unnoticed in the media until JTA reported last week that the debate was concluding and that Wikipedia had labeled the ADL “generally unreliable” on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In fact this very significant event is still being “unnoticed” by the media—or rather suppressed. As I write on Tuesday evening almost all the 20 or so stories about this situation picked up by Google News are Israeli or very specialized Jewish publications. The only true MSM account is a balanced one by CNN: Wikipedia now labels the top Jewish civil rights group as an unreliable source, by David Goldman, June 20, 2024.

The ADL is, from the point of view of an American patriot, a thoroughly bad lot: Did The ADL Think It Could Get Away With Hypocrisy On Great Replacement In US vs. Israel? Answer: It Probably Didn’t Think At All.

Even some Jews find its increasing arrogance offensive. The Forward (“JEWISH. INDEPENDENT. NONPROFIT”) greeted the news with a remarkable editorial Wikipedia called the ADL ‘unreliable.’ It’s a wake-up call the civil rights organization badly needs, by Rob Eshman, June 29,2024.

Wikipedia has long been known for the Leftist bias and intolerance of its editors. Nicholas Stix amusingly reported on his attempts to protect their entries on John Tanton and VDARE from abuse in Truth Visits The Wikipedia VDARE.com Page, Gets Thrown Out On Its Edit By WikiThugs. He likes to call it The Pretend Encyclopedia (TPE).

And just this month, with no obvious trigger, Peter Brimelow was promoted to the most lethal category in American life: White Supremacist.

But such a virtually complete blackout of this very important story involving two such prominent American institutions is positively weird. It testifies to the closeness with which the American MSM is controlled.

While it could be the standard reflexive repression of anything embarrassing to Zionism, I think a more immediately important event is the cause.

I suggested in NOW I See Why $PLC Dumped Classroom Propaganda Program. Left’s Palestinian Purge Problem Just Beginning that the reason this particular program was dropped was not just that those who worked on it were pro-Palestinian, but that their participating school districts were also Palestinian enthusiasts.

Now I see the SPLC Union has an X up saying that the trigger for purge was a company wide Q&A in which

Staff asked questions about organizational decision-making, support for Palestine, and the scope of our work (My emphasis).

The Left has just undergone a tectonic shift. Their Establishment is struggling with a volcanic eruption by hard Leftists calling Israel into question. The Wikipedia editors are merely moving with the times.

Hamas has won a great victory.

MSM orders are, keep the split hidden as long as possible.

What this has to do with America is another question.

Israeli documents show expansive government effort to shape US discourse around Gaza war

June 26, 2024/3 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

From The Guardian.

… Chikli assured the lawmakers that there was new money in the budget for a pushback campaign, which was separate from more traditional public relations and paid advertising content produced by the government. It included 80 programs already under way for advocacy efforts “to be done in the ‘Concert’ way”, he said.

The “Concert” remark referred to a sprawling relaunch of a controversial Israeli government program initially known as Kela Shlomo, designed to carry out what Israel called “mass consciousness activities” targeted largely at the US and Europe. Concert, now known as Voices of Israel, previously worked with groups spearheading a campaign to pass so-called “anti-BDS” state laws that penalize Americans for engaging in boycotts or other non-violent protests of Israel.

Its latest incarnation is part of a hardline and sometimes covert operation by the Israeli government to strike back at student protests, human rights organizations and other voices of dissent.

Voices’ latest activities were conducted through non-profits and other entities that often do not disclose donor information. From October through May, Chikli has overseen at least 32m shekels, or about $8.6m, spent on government advocacy to reframe the public debate.

It didn’t take long for one of the American advocacy groups closely coordinating with Chikli’s ministry, the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, or ISGAP, to score a powerful victory.

In a widely viewed December congressional hearing on alleged antisemitism among student anti-war protesters, several House GOP lawmakers explicitly cited ISGAP research in their interrogations of university presidents. The hearing concluded with Representative Elise Stefanik’s viral confrontation with the then president of Harvard University, Claudine Gay, who later retired from her role after a wave of negative news coverage.

The ISGAP, which reportedly received the majority of its funding in 2018 from the Israeli agency that was running Concert, touted its congressional public relations coup at a 7 April event at the Palm Beach Country Club.

“All these hearings were the result of our report that all these universities, beginning from Harvard, are taking a lot of money from Qatar,” bragged Natan Sharansky, a former Israeli Knesset member (MK) who previously held Chikli’s role and now chairs the ISGAP. Sharansky told the assembled supporters that Stefanik’s remarks had been viewed by 1 billion people.

The ISGAP has continued to shape congressional investigations of universities over claims that protests over Israel’s human rights record are motivated by antisemitism, and the organization has been deeply involved in the campaign to enshrine new laws that redefine antisemitism to include certain forms of speech critical of the nation of Israel. [TOO Emphasis]

Other American groups tied to Voices have pursued a range of initiatives to bolster support for the state of Israel. One such group listed publicly as a partner, the National Black Empowerment Council (NBEC), published an open letter from Black Democratic politicians pledging solidarity with Israel. Another group, CyberWell, a pro-Israel anti-disinformation group led by former Israeli military intelligence and Voices officials, has established itself as an official “trusted partner” to TikTok and Meta, helping both social platforms screen and edit content. A recent CyberWell report called for Meta to suppress the popular slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”.

The dawn of the Gaza war after the 7 October 2023 terror attacks by Hamas sparked the third reboot for the government-backed company, which was originally chartered through the now-downgraded ministry of strategic affairs. The revamp was first disclosed through a little-noticed budget document posted by the Israeli government on 1 November, which noted that Voices would be freezing all prior campaigns to support activities related to “winning the war over Israel’s story”.

The organization is now under the administration of Chikli, the Israeli minister for diaspora affairs.

Haaretz and the New York Times recently revealed that Chikli’s ministry had tapped a public relations firm to secretly pressure American lawmakers. The firm used hundreds of fake accounts posting pro-Israel or anti-Muslim content on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram. (The diaspora affairs ministry denied involvement in the campaign, which reportedly provided about $2m to an Israeli firm for the social media posts.)

But that effort is only one of many such campaigns coordinated by the ministry, which has received limited news coverage. The ministry of diaspora affairs and its partners compile weekly reports based on tips from pro-Israel US student groups, some of which receive funding from Israeli government sources.

For example, Hillel International, a co-founder of the Israel on Campus Coalition network and one of the largest Jewish campus groups in the world, has reported financial and strategic support from Mosaic United, a public benefit corporation backed by Chikli’s ministry. The longstanding partnership is now being utilized to shape the political debate over Israel’s war. In February, Hillel’s chief executive, Adam Lehman, appeared before the Knesset to discuss the strategic partnership with Mosaic and the ministry of diaspora affairs, which he said had already produced results.

“We are changing administrations. Just last week, MIT, the same president who was lambasted in front of Congress, took the step of fully suspending her Students for Justice in Palestine chapter for crossing lines, and for creating an unwelcoming environment for Jewish students,” said Lehman, referencing the president of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sally Kornbluth.

Hillel International, CyberWell, the NBEC, the Israeli ministry of diaspora affairs and Voices of Israel/Concert did not respond to a request for comment.

This investigative report reviewed recent government hearings, Israeli corporate filings, procurement documents and other public records. While private individuals and foundations primarily fund many of the organizations devoted to pro-Israel advocacy, most likely without foreign direction, the records point to substantial Israeli government involvement in American politics about the Gaza war, free speech on college campuses and Israel-Palestine policy.

“There’s a fixation on policing American discourse on the US-Israel relationship, even college campus discourse, from Israel, going all the way up to Prime Minister Netanyahu,” said Eli Clifton, a senior adviser at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft. “One struggles to find a parallel in terms of a foreign country’s influence over American political debate.”

None of the groups identified in this story’s reporting have registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (Fara). This law requires groups receiving funds or direction from foreign countries to provide public disclosures to the US Department of Justice.

“There’s a built-in assumption that there’s nothing at all weird about viewing the US as sort of an open field for Israel to operate in, that there are no limitations,” said Lara Friedman, president of the Foundation for Middle East Peace. …

John Mearsheimer on Russia-Ukraine Peace Prospects: Russia May Be Forced to Launch a Preemptive Nuclear Attack

June 23, 2024/13 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

As noted here many times, both the West and Russia see this conflict as existential, and that opens the door to a nuclear war, especially, as Mearsheimer emphasizes, if one side takes out the early warning systems of the other side. Mearsheimer attacks the myth that Russia wants to conquer Western Europe; Russia wants about 40% of Ukraine, including Crimea, and a neutral Ukraine. Both sides could agree on a neutral Ukraine, but it won’t happen—it’s unacceptable to the West.  Meanwhile, Russia is clearly winning, and public opinion in Western Ukraine is turning against the war. “The least bad alternative now [for Ukraine] is to cut a deal.”

Alexander Dugin: The Fate of the World Will Be Decided by the American Elections

June 22, 2024/4 Comments/in General/by Alexander Dugin

Excerpt from Arktos

Alexander Dugin argues that come November this year it will either be Trump or the apocalypse.

The upcoming presidential elections in the United States, scheduled for 5 November 2024, hold absolute significance. The outcome of these elections will largely determine the fate not only of the United States and even the entire West, but of humanity as a whole. The world is teetering on the brink of nuclear war, a full-scale and total third world war between Russia and NATO countries, and the decision of who will lead the White House for the next term will ultimately decide whether humanity will continue to exist or not. Therefore, it is crucial to once again survey the two candidates in this election, understand their platforms and positions.

Biden is undoubtedly today a feeble-minded invalid showing clear signs of senile dementia. But, strangely enough, this hardly matters. Biden is merely a facade, a signboard for the firmly entrenched political elites of the Democratic Party in the US, who have reached a solid consensus regarding Biden. Essentially, Biden could govern as a dead body. It would not change a thing. Behind him stands a cohesive group of globalists (sometimes referred to as the ‘world government’), which unites not only a large part of the American deep state, but also the liberal elites in Europe and on a global level.

Ideologically, Biden represents globalism, which is the project of uniting humanity under the rule of liberal technocratic elites, with the abolition of sovereign nation-states and the complete mixing of peoples and beliefs. This is a sort of new Tower of Babel project. Orthodox Christians and many traditionalist Christians of other denominations understandably see this as the ‘coming of the Antichrist’. Globalists (Yuval Harari, Klaus Schwab, Raymond Kurzweil, Maurice Strong) openly talk about the need to replace humanity with artificial intelligence and cyborgs, and the abolition of gender and ethnicity has already become a fact in Western societies. Biden personally has no influence on the realisation of this project. He does not make decisions but merely plays the role of an authorised representative of the international headquarters of globalism.

Politically, Biden relies on the Democratic Party, which, despite the diversity of its positions and the presence of non-globalist poles and figures such as the far-left Bernie Sanders or Robert Kennedy, has reached an internal agreement regarding its support for him. Moreover, Biden’s incapacity scares no one, as the real power lies with entirely different individuals — younger and more rational. But the main point is this: behind Biden stands an ideology that has today become widespread around the world. Most of the world’s political and economic elites are liberal to some extent. Liberalism has deeply penetrated education, science, culture, information, the economy, business, politics, and even technology on a global scale. Biden is merely the focal point of this global web. And within the Democratic Party in the United States, this has taken on its political embodiment. The Democrats in the United States care less and less about Americans themselves and more and more about maintaining their global dominance at any cost — even at the cost of a world war (with Russia and China). In a sense, they are ready to sacrifice the US itself. This makes them extremely dangerous.

American neoconservative circles are in solidarity with the globalist agenda of those behind Biden. These are former Trotskyists who hate Russia and believe that a world revolution is possible only after the complete victory of capitalism, that is, the global West on a worldwide scale. Therefore, they have postponed this goal until the cycle of capitalist globalisation is completed, hoping to return to the topic of proletarian revolution later, after the global victory of the liberal West. The neocons act as hawks, insist on a unipolar world, fully support Israel, and, in particular, the genocide in Gaza. There are neocons among the Democrats, but most of them are concentrated among the Republicans, where they represent a pole opposite to Trump. In a sense, they are the fifth column of the Democrats and Biden’s group within the Republican Party.

And finally, the American deep state. Here we are talking about the non-partisan top tier of government officials, senior bureaucrats, and key figures in the military and intelligence services, who embody a sort of ‘guardians’ of American statehood. Traditionally, there have been two vectors within the American deep state, embodied precisely in the traditional politics of the Democrats and Republicans. One vector is for global dominance and the spread of liberalism on a planetary scale (the policy of the Democrats), and the other is for strengthening the US as a great superpower and hegemon of world politics (the policy of the Republicans). It is easy to see that these are not mutually exclusive lines, but both vectors are aimed at one goal with different nuances. Therefore, the American deep state is the guardian of the overall direction, providing the balance of parties with the choice each time of one of the vectors of development, both of which fundamentally suit the deep state.

At the moment, the Biden group more accurately reflects the interests and values of this highest American bureaucracy.

Biden concentrates a critically important number of power factors — from ideology to the deep state, and, in addition, relies on the support of major financial corporations, the world press, and control over global monopolies. His personal weakness and senile dementia compel the globalists behind him to accelerate undemocratic methods to keep him in power. In one of his recent campaign speeches, Biden bluntly stated that it is time ‘to choose freedom over democracy’. This was not just a slip of the tongue but is the globalists’ plan. If power cannot be maintained by democratic methods, any undemocratic processes may occur under the slogan of ‘freedom’. That is, essentially, the establishment of a globalist dictatorship. The war with Russia will provide legal grounds for this, and Biden may repeat Zelensky’s trick of staying in power after cancelling elections. This could also be chosen by Macron in France, who suffered a crushing defeat from the right in the European Parliament elections, and even Scholz in Germany, who is rapidly losing support. Globalists in the West are clearly considering the scenario of establishing direct dictatorship and abolishing democracy.

For humanity, a Biden victory or simply the fact of his remaining in power in any capacity would be catastrophic. The globalists will continue to build the New Babylon, clinging to the world government, and this is fraught with the escalation of existing conflicts and the start of new ones. Biden means war. Endless and boundless war.

Behind Donald Trump stand completely different forces. He is truly an alternative to Biden and his group of globalists, and much more contrasting. That is why Trump’s first presidential term was a continuous scandal. The American establishment categorically refused to accept him and did not rest until they replaced him with Biden.

If Trump, despite everything, manages to win the presidential election in 2024, the relationship with the deep state will undoubtedly change. Realising the significance of his figure, the deep state will clearly try to establish a systematic relationship with him.

Most likely, the globalists behind the weak Biden will try to remove the strong Trump from the election and prevent him from becoming president at any cost. Any methods may be employed here: assassination, imprisonment, organising riots and protests, up to and including a coup or civil war. Or by the end of his term, Biden may start a third world war. This is also quite likely.

Since the globalists have significant support from the deep state, any of these scenarios could be put into action.

However, if we assume that the popular and populist Trump wins and becomes president, this will, of course, seriously affect global politics.

First and foremost, a second term for a US president with such an ideology will show that the first term was not an accident (for the globalists), but a regular occurrence. A unipolar world and the globalist project will be rejected not only by supporters of a multipolar world — Russia, China, Islamic countries — but by Americans themselves. This will deal a powerful blow to the entire network of the liberal-globalist elite. And most likely, they will not recover from such a blow.

Objectively, Trump can become a trigger for a multipolar world order, in which the US will play an important, but not a leading role. ‘America will be great again’, but as a nation-state, not as a globalist world hegemon.

Of course, this will not automatically stop the existing and unleashed conflicts by the globalists today. Trump’s demands on Russia regarding ending the war in Ukraine will be realistic, but generally quite tough. His support for Israel in Gaza will be as unequivocal as in the case of Biden. Moreover, Trump sees a kindred spirit in the right-wing politician Netanyahu. And regarding China, he will pursue a rather tough policy, especially in pressuring Chinese businesses in the US.

The main difference between Trump and Biden is that the former will focus on rationally calculated American national interests (which corresponds to realism in international relations) and do so with a pragmatic consideration of the balance of forces and resources. While the ideology of the globalists behind Biden is, in a certain sense, totalitarian and uncompromising.

For Trump, a nuclear apocalypse is an unacceptable price for anything. For Biden and, more importantly, for those who fancy themselves as rulers of the New Babylon, everything is at stake. Their behaviour, even in a critical situation, is unpredictable.

Whereas Trump is just a player. Very tough and audacious, but restrained by rationality and evaluations of concrete benefits. Trump is hardly persuadable, but you can strike a deal with him. Biden and his handlers are irrational.

The US elections in November 2024 will answer the question of whether humanity has a chance or not. No more, no less.

Actually, Senator

June 21, 2024/in General/by Ann Coulter

Actually, Senator …

For the first time in decades, I caught some of the Sunday morning political shows last weekend. Who knew there still were Sunday shows? Since the advent of cable news, you can get the same programming anytime you want, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So what’s the point?

Apparently, the point is to give viewers three additional options for receiving MSNBC content on Sunday mornings, on ABC, NBC or CBS.

I watched a total of about 10 minutes, so this is not a full review, but I do have a great idea for renaming the Sunday shows. They should be called: “Actually, Senator” or “We Should Note” or “I Apologize for the Interruption.”

These phrases are repeated throughout the programs as the hosts “correct” Republicans with Democratic talking points.

Here’s an example from ABC’s “This Week,” with Jonathan Karl interviewing Republican Sen. Tim Scott:

SCOTT: “Under Joe Biden, we’ve seen the movement to defund the police, leaving communities like the one I grew up in devastated and ravaged by a wave of violent crime that we have not seen literally in five decades.”

KARL: “Actually, senator, as I — as you probably know — the latest stats on violent crime and on the murder rate, they’re actually down this past year.”

Over on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., got the same “correction” on crime from host Peter Alexander. First, he fact-checked Donald Trump, who wasn’t even there, then he obsessively circled back to the same (false) talking point, long after Donalds had moved on.

ALEXANDER: “[Trump] called Milwaukee a ‘horrible’ city. The campaign later clarified, said he was talking about alleged voter fraud and the crime rate there. So let me take those one at a time. Murders in Milwaukee are down 39% since last year …”

DONALDS: “… [I] think it’s important for people to understand your murder rate may be down, but that doesn’t mean that violent crime, et cetera, are also lower …”

ALEXANDER: “Fine, but –”

DONALDS: “[Voters] are frustrated with what has happened to our country under Joe Biden. Immigration massively up and out of control. The labor markets are OK, not great. Wages are down when you adjust them for inflation. People are struggling to make ends meet …”

ALEXANDER: “Again I — I apologize for the interruption. A lot to get to. We should note it’s not just the murder rate. The overall violent crime has fallen during Biden’s presidency. It is now at a near 50-year low.”

Who knew Democrats were doing such wonderful things with crime?

Of course murders were down in 2022 compared to the year before! There was nowhere else to go. Following St. George Floyd’s ascension into heaven and the subsequent de-policing movement, murder rates went through the stratosphere — then dipped slightly.

Similarly amazing facts:

— Deaths from sneak attacks on the United States dipped after Pearl Harbor.

— Civil War deaths dropped dramatically after 1866.

— Deaths from Spanish flu collapsed in 1921.

The BLM mania was the brainchild of, and pushed relentlessly by, Democrats and the media. It was adamantly opposed by Republicans — to the point of Sen. Tom Cotton proposing to send in troops to quell the rioting, leading The New York Times to apologize for his op-ed and fire James Bennet, the editor who published it.

Nationwide, the murder rate increased by a mind-boggling 30% in 2020 — a bigger year-to-year increase than any time since we’ve been keeping records. The next closest spike was in 1968, when the murder rate rose by a comparatively paltry 12.7% — though for similar reasons.

Just when it seemed killings couldn’t go any higher, the murder rate rose again in 2021, as the left’s demonization of police continued, for a total increase of 37% during the Floyd extravaganza.

Following the two most murderous years in two decades, the murder rate did finally fall in 2022 — by a whopping 4% to 5%. This brought the U.S. murder rate back down to 2020 levels, aka the second-most murderous year in the past two decades.

It’s like Jerry Nadler boasting about how skinny he is because he lost 5 pounds.

Yes, but, Jerry, the year before you gained 30 pounds, the year before that you gained 29 pounds, the year before that …

Those are the murder stats Democrats are bragging about.

Did Democrats in Milwaukee do a better job? Hardly. Milwaukee had the same Floyd murder spike as the rest of the country — only worse.

Here are that city’s murders per year, according to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s homicide tracker:

2019 — 98

2020 — 190

2021 — 197

2022 — 224

2023 — 183

As you can see, Milwaukee’s murder rate didn’t go up by a mere 30% in 2020 — it nearly doubled. Amazingly, the number of murders continued to rise over the next two years, finally falling by about 18% last year — not the 37% claimed by Alexander. That makes Milwaukee in 2023 82% more murderous than the year before Democrats unleashed BLM on the nation.

Solid work, Democrats.

As for violent crime, it has declined only in the sense of going up, increasing by a lot, having more violent crime than before. The Justice Department’s National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) is the gold standard of crime reports, recording all crimes, not just those reported to the police. And the NCVS shows a huge increase in violent crime from 2021 to 2022. (The latest crime figures are from 2022.)

Democrats’ claim to the contrary is based on a single unreliable source: the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports (UCR), which are missing so much data that even the FBI doesn’t trust them.

Due to a technical change in 2021, the UCR didn’t collect crime reports from about a third of police departments in the U.S. in 2021 and 2022, including some of the biggest, such as:

— New York City

— Los Angeles

— Phoenix

— Suffolk County, New York

— San Jose

— Chicago

The bureau’s position on its own reports is that “it’s possible crime went up, went down or stayed the same,” as The Marshall Project put it. Other liberal groups, like the Brennan Center, have also ridiculed the FBI’s recent reports, saying the missing data render “the FBI’s annual report on crime in 2021 threadbare and heavily dependent on estimates.”

But now some genius, Jeff Asher, has come along and treated these same FBI reports as if they’re the Talmud, and announced that crime under Biden is at a “50-year low”! You’ll see that claim everywhere — Poynter, Newsweek, ABC News, White House press releases and so on. But his entire analysis is based on faulty data.

This is the vital information requiring that Republicans be rudely interrupted whenever they mention crime: a 4% decline in the murder rate — following a 37% rise that was 100% the Democrats’ fault; and FBI crime reports that even the FBI doesn’t believe.
