Break the Law Again, You’ll Get TWO Desserts!

September 15, 2023/1 Comment/in General/by Ann Coulter

Break the Law Again, You’ll Get TWO Desserts!

Days after Mayor Eric Adams said the migrant crisis was going to “destroy” New York City, we memorialized the last time immigrants tried to destroy it: The 9/11 attack.

At least that was a one-time body blow.  The city suffered grievously, but survived because, luckily, the immigrants who flew planes into the buildings killed themselves in the process.

Today’s immigrant crisis is never going to end.  More than one hundred thousand migrants have already arrived, and there’s no end in sight.   With the city rushing to give them handouts– free housing, “culturally appropriate” meals (three times a day),  4-hour snacks, popcorn machines, TVs, Xbox game consoles, ping-pong, foosball tables, and phones for making free international calls — they’re not going to stop coming, and it’s highly doubtful we can convince them to commit suicide, either.

We’ll be paying to clothe, house and feed them forever.

Already city services are being slashed to take care of the “migrants” (the latest euphemism for illegal aliens).

The timing couldn’t be better.   Apparently, the city’s licked crime, homelessness and poverty — and taxpayers from all over are moving to New York.  City services are running like a top, the streets and sidewalks gleam, and 8 million New Yorkers are living in peace and harmony.

(You know, a lot of Black-run cities have gotten a bad reputation lately, but Mayor Eric Adams and district attorney Alvin Bragg have certainly put an end to that stereotype.)

Still, some city residents would prefer not to have 100,000-plus migrants moving into their parks, playgrounds, schools, soccer fields, streets, hotels, homeless shelters, gymnasiums and so on.

Anticipating backlash from voters who might mistakenly blame Democrats for this horror show, The New York Times has run a series of articles making the point that, IT’S THE REPUBLICANS’ FAULT.

Actual Times headline: G.O.P. Gets the Democratic Border Crisis It Wanted

Yeah, sure the migrant crisis is 100% Democrats’ fault for throwing open the border and ushering millions of illegals into the country under the Biden administration.   And it’s also Democrat-run cities like New York that rolled out a welcome mat for illegals by declaring themselves “sanctuary cities.”

But it’s Republicans’ fault for informing the public that Democrats did these things!

If pointing out something bad that will hurt your political opponents means you wanted the bad thing to happen, then how about these headlines:

Democrats Get the Ukrainian Call They Wanted

Democrats Get the Trump Election Tantrum They Wanted

Democrats Get the Abortion Ruling They Wanted

Not only are Republicans hatefully pointing out that it’s official Democratic policy to invite all the poor of the world to move here, but it turns out Democrats had a plan to stop them from coming — but Republicans REJECTED IT.

Their plan, which is foolproof as far as I can tell, was to give illegals a reward for entering our country illegally.  As White House spokesman Angelo Fernández Hernández, explained, the border crisis is the fault of Republicans who “refuse to pass comprehensive immigration reform.”

“Comprehensive immigration reform” means amnesty.  It has always meant amnesty.  It will always mean amnesty.  There is nothing else it could mean, except amnesty. Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump all tried to hornswoggle Americans with an amnesty calling it “Comprehensive Immigration Reform.” Every Democrat is for “comprehensive immigration reform.” The plan is always the same: Amnesty NOW, meaningless promises about border security later.

In other words, the Democrats’ idea for discouraging the billions of people who live on less than $7 a day from moving here, is to give them everything they ever could have dreamed as a “thank you” for breaking into our country illegally: U.S. citizenship.

Free housing, food and medical care are not enough!  We need to provide aspiring illegals the extra inducement of citizenship in the greatest country in the world.

That’ll stop ‘em cold!

More great ideas along these lines:

The “Comprehensive Jan 6 Plan”:  If you riot at the capitol, demanding Trump be made president, Democrats will punish you by … making Trump president!

The “Comprehensive Civil Rights Plan”: Discriminate against a Black person and Democrats will not only block any legal proceeding against you, but bake you a cake!

The “Comprehensive Putin Plan”: He invades Ukraine, Democrats will give him Moldova, too!  (Maybe we should make Putin a citizen.)

Democrats seriously think they’re going to snow voters with a lot of euphemisms for amnesty:  “comprehensive immigration reform,” “changes to the immigration system,” “a major immigration overhaul,” fixing “our broken immigration system.”

The Times reports this nonsense as if Democrats are making a real argument:

“Democrats are trying to go on offense, … reminding voters that [Republicans] helped stall a major immigration overhaul in Washington that they say might have prevented the latest influx.”

And,

“The task may be easier for [Democratic] challengers who are taking on Republican incumbents whom they can blame for failing to enact the kind of changes to the immigration system” – i.e. amnesty – “that could curb illegal border crossings.”

If only we’d had MORE goodies waiting for illegals on our side of the border, they never would have come!

The Times also quotes Representative Pat Ryan (D-NY-18) blowing away Republicans with this argument:  “[Republicans] are not actually working to resolve problems.”

Anyone who says the migrant crisis can be “resolved” by anything other than a wall is lying.  New York Times headline, Sept. 11, 2023: “Once Again You Lose Me at the Wall.”

And anyone who says the migrant crisis could’ve been averted if only we’d offered illegals MORE benefits thinks you are a moron.

They’re just trying to run out the clock as the Third World pours into our country.  By the time voters realize they’ve been lied to, it will be too late.  They’ll be outvoted by 50 million illegal aliens who’ve been granted “Comprehensive Immigration Reform.”

Meloni’s Betrayal of Italy: Mass Immigration and Naturalization

Little remains of the election promises of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who took office as a hardliner in immigration policy: her policies now hardly differ from those of the ruling EU migration lobby. Now 800,000 migrant children are to be naturalized in Italy.

Almost a year ago, the “Fratelli d’Italia” were elected the strongest political force – primarily because the Italians had expected Meloni to finally take action against the influx of migrants and the all-corrosive cultural Marxism that has also had the Mediterranean state in its grip for years has.

Like 2015/16 – will Meloni be the new Merkel?

However, Meloni’s balance sheet is more than sobering: by the end of July this year alone, almost 90,000 migrants had already entered the country ; The record number of 180,000 from 2016 will most likely be exceeded . As if that wasn’t enough, Meloni also declared under pressure from the economy, which demands cheap labor: “ Italy needs migration! “.

That is why it wants to allow around half a million “legal” immigrants into the country by 2025 . In a radio interview in 2019, she explained : “There is an organized movement that is working to bring hundreds of thousands of people to Europe. (…) Because it means they have cheap labor. It is no coincidence that Soros, the financial speculator, funds these NGOs. There is also a plan for the deconstruction of society.

Catastrophe accelerator

She went on to say at the time:  “ It is as if they wanted to rob us of our identity, to build a multicultural society without identity, without roots, without consciousness, so that people equally become consumers who are at the mercy of capital.” Now she is making  herself the accelerator of this catastrophic development that she had once really analyzed.

Probably encouraged by Meloni’s obvious failure to combat illegal mass immigration, the organization “Save the Children” launched a campaign on Wednesday for the naturalization of 800,000 migrant children born or raised in Italy and declared: “The number of children and young people who are Italian in fact but not by law, number more than 800,000 in our schools and are constantly increasing, but they do not have the same opportunities as their Italian peers.” …

More on Musk vs. the ADL

September 8, 2023/2 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

Elon Musk retweeted this tweet, calling it an “accurate analysis.”

BREAKING: DEBUNKING THE LIES IN ADL’S RESPONSE TO ELON

ADL’s CEO broke his silence on 𝕏 and Elon by lying and trapping the host:

1) He claimed that Elon brought and amplified anti-semitism and hate speech back to the platform.

This is NOT TRUE. The 𝕏 Safety team shared that… pic.twitter.com/o0EYR3rCFK

Ron Coleman (who is Jewish):

The national ADL, like the ACLU, the NAACP, and other formerly “apolitical” civil rights groups, is now merely a tax-exempt cadre of the national Democratic Party. Anyone paying any kind of attention knows this. And as the Democratic Party has moved further into the fringes of Left-wing lunacy, the ADL has moved with it—whether a Jewish “antidefamation” issue is at stake or not. The party requires it.

Jonathan at ADL kicked off a massive Twitter boycott campaign less than a week after the acquisition closed.

Literally nothing had changed about the site.

Our US revenue is still 60% down from that campaign, but slowly improving. pic.twitter.com/7vh5dtdDqi

Couldn’t the Military Industrial Complex Make Its Money in Mexico?

September 7, 2023/6 Comments/in General/by Ann Coulter
Couldn’t the Military Industrial Complex Make Its Money in Mexico?

It’s often hard to keep our Mexican atrocities straight, but would you happen to remember the 43 Mexican students in Iguala who disappeared off a bus in September 2014? At the time, there were claims that local police had abducted and killed them at the behest of a drug cartel — hard as it might be to believe that drug lords could be so callous. But there were no arrests, and the remains of only two students were ever found.

Last weekend, The New York Times reported that they were, in fact, killed on the orders of a drug cartel — working hand in hand with what Mexico insists on calling the “military” and “police.” The cartel believed the hapless students were a rival drug cartel and demanded their liquidation.

Mexican police: Sure! Can I have 50 bucks?

As we also know, Mexico’s drug cartels have killed more Americans than have died in all foreign wars combined. They’ve killed more Americans than every terrorist group in history. Year after year, they kill more Americans than died in the entire course of the Vietnam War.

And now it’s beyond dispute that vast swaths of the Mexican government are helping. What’s the name for that again? Oh yeah! State-sponsored terrorism.

Of course, the U.S. government has known this for some time, at least since the students’ abduction back in 2014. As the students were being dismembered, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration happened to be surveilling a drug trafficking ring in suburban Chicago (thanks for “anchor babies,” Justice Brennan!). The DEA intercepted more than 20,000 text messages between the cartel and “(j)ust about every arm of government” in that part of Mexico, as the Times put it.

So why is Gov. Ron DeSantis the first presidential candidate to say the obvious: that he will designate the cartels transnational criminal organizations and threaten to deploy the military “across the border to secure our territory from Mexican cartel activities”?

How could three successive presidents — Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden — not have done that already? They know that millions of Americans are being turned into corpses or zombies by the drugs brought in by the cartels, and that far from fighting them, large swaths of the Mexican government are collaborators.

Why no retaliation? Why aren’t we throwing out Mexican drug traffickers (i.e., anchor babies and “asylum seekers”)? Why don’t we have the Great Wall of China on our border? Exactly how much do our elected representatives hate us?

Over the past half-century, presidents have promiscuously flung U.S. military power around the globe — Kosovo, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan (for more than 20 years!). But they will not lift a finger against the state-sponsored terrorist organization right across our border, which kills 100,000 Americans every year. That’s like two 9/11 attacks every month.

Our foreign policy mandarins assure us that our very freedoms depend on our military butting into conflicts around the globe, and then staying for decades.

In 1999, the U.S. military (under the NATO flag) bombed the Balkans to remove Slobodan Milosevic, who posed absolutely no threat to us.

In 2001, we bombed Afghanistan for hosting Osama bin Laden before the 9/11 attack. Afghanistan had one flush toilet before the bombing started, and none three weeks later. Mission Accomplished.

But for some reason, Obama kept sending more troops, and Trump dared not cross the generals who told him we had to keep pouring money into Afghanistan. (Promises Made. Promises Kept!)

In 2011, again under the NATO flag, the Obama administration (Hillary) overthrew Moammar Gadhafi — leading directly to the “migrant” crisis now turning Western Europe into Somalia. This not only served no American interest, but decimated our European allies.

From 2014 to 2018, the American military destroyed ISIS, a terrorist organization that was a big problem for Iraq and Syria, but not for any American — unless they happened to be at an airport in Brussels or a concert in Paris. Thanks, Angela Merkel, for the tremendous idea to bring Middle Eastern terrorists to Europe with Hillary’s complicity (see above).

In 2018, Trump bombed Syria in retaliation for Bashar Assad’s attack on rebels that left 49 Syrians dead. We may be more valuable to God than a flock of sparrows — but apparently 49 dead Syrians are worth more to our government than a million dead Americans.

And in the past 18 months, we’ve doled out more than $75 billion to Ukraine to fight Vladimir Putin. Please explain how Putin is a greater threat to any American than the wasting away and miserable deaths of hundreds of thousands of our fellow citizens, to say nothing of the gobs of taxpayer money lavished on pointless social services to “rehabilitate” the unrehabilitatable. (Plus the multiple millions lost to pure corruption.)

Our “foreign policy community” will pay any price, bear any burden, to make some random part of the world safer — as long as it’s not America.

Here’s how things would have gone if the warmongers, er, “foreign policy community,” had been advising Winston Churchill in the run-up to World War II:

1925 CHURCHILL: Have any of you read Mein Kampf? Apparently, Mr. Hitler lays out a plan for German conquest of all of central Europe.

Sir, we’re not wasting our time on that nonsense. Please focus: The important thing is that Chile just elected a liberal democrat, Emiliano Figueroa, who faces major opposition from the far-left labor party. They hate us for our freedoms! Britain’s No. 1 foreign policy goal is to back Figueroa.

1928 CHURCHILL: Is anybody paying attention to this Hitler chap in Germany? He’s barking mad, and he’s a lot closer to England than any Chilean leftists.

What? Are you a blood and soil type? We’ve pulled out of Chile, anyway. It’s now ruled by a dictator.

1933 CHURCHILL: I know I’m sounding like a broken record, but Mein Kampf just became a bestseller in Germany.

We’ll get to it later. Right now, the media are clamoring for more information about the recent Madagascar famine. It was horrible! Cattle wiped out, little children starving to death. Hey, could somebody get a picture of the starving kids to Ivanka?

1938 CHURCHILL: You want me to give half of Czechoslovakia to Hitler???

It’s only the Sudentenland, sir. [Rolling eyes] What do you want — a wall?

Far more important to saving democracy is our ability to successfully end a territorial dispute between Bolivia and Paraguay. If we don’t pour billions into negotiating a treaty to end the Chaco War, China will see how weak we are and invade Taiwan.

It would be great if our military would concentrate on defending America. Can’t the military industrial complex make its money in Mexico?

More on the ADL-Musk Controversy

September 5, 2023/2 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

Occidental Dissent has put together a compendium of tweets from the #BanTheADL hashtag on X.

And from today’s article in JTA:

Elon Musk threatened to sue the Anti-Defamation League for up to $22 billion on Monday as he joined a growing number of white supremacists and trolls in posting invective about the group.

The legal threat of indeterminate seriousness — Musk frequently does not follow through on his stated intentions, although he sometimes does — came after he joined a white supremacist’s anti-ADL campaign on X, the platform he owns and renamed from Twitter.

Over the last several days, Musk posted at least 25 times about the ADL or related topics. Several times, he blamed the Jewish anti-bigotry group for a 60% drop in advertising revenue on the platform and said he would seek redress in court.

At one point, apparently understanding that some viewed his tirade as siding with white supremacists, Musk explicitly said that he did not support antisemitism, writing, “To be super clear, I’m pro free speech, but against anti-Semitism of any kind.” He also said he would only ban the ADL if “they break the law.”

Last fall, shortly after Musk bought the platform for $44 billion, the ADL called for a temporary ad boycott due to reports of spiking bigotry on the site. The ADL has continued to protest Musk’s approach to hate speech but has itself resumed buying ads on X.

Musk disputed that he’s been responsible for a rise in antisemitism on X and suggested that the company would file a defamation suit against the ADL. “Since the acquisition, The @ADL has been trying to kill this platform by falsely accusing it & me of being anti-Semitic,” he wrote in one post.

“To clear our platform’s name on the matter of anti-Semitism, it looks like we have no choice but to file a defamation lawsuit against the Anti-Defamation League … oh the irony!” he wrote in another post on Monday evening. “In our case, they would potentially be on the hook for destroying half the value of the company, so roughly $22 billion.”

In another post on Monday, he gave a lower figure: “Based on what we’ve heard from advertisers, ADL seems to be responsible for most of our revenue loss. Giving them maximum benefit of the doubt, I don’t see any scenario where they’re responsible for less than 10% of the value destruction, so ~$4 billion.”

…

Musk and the ADL have been at odds for nearly a year, since he purchased the company and removed some of its guardrails against hate speech. Aside from calling for the ad boycott, the ADL has also criticized Musk for echoing antisemitic stereotypes in posts he wrote about the liberal Jewish megadonor George Soros; has criticized his reinstatement of accounts that traffic in hate speech; and, recently, acceded to his demand that the group condemn a South African apartheid-era protest song calling for the killing of white farmers.

The most recent episode in the feud began last week when Musk liked a tweet by an Irish white supremacist calling on the platform to “#BanTheADL,” a hashtag that then trended on X. Musk has since asked users whether he should put such a ban to a poll, and has engaged directly with the white supremacist in question. In response to a post by Chaya Raichik, the Orthodox Jewish woman who runs the anti-LGBTQ social media presence Libs of TikTok, Musk endorsed the idea that he should publish the platform’s entire correspondence with the ADL. He has also tweeted out articles about criticism of the ADL, and on Monday night, the phrase “The ADL” was trending on X.

Rolling Stone on #BanTheAdl

September 4, 2023/8 Comments/in General/by Kevin MacDonald

Yesterday, Henrik and I had a discussion on the #BanTheADL hashtag which has become a phenomenon on X. Now the Rolling Stone tries to clean up the mess with a predictably leftist take: “Elon Musk Wades Deeper into Antisemitic Propaganda.” I am seriously starting to wonder why I was banned from X a few months ago given that Musk seems well aware that the ADL is intent on banning free speech and is actively involved in persuading advertisers not to patronize X—obviously a threat. Here the Rolling Stone simply asserts that the ADL is just doing God’s work: ” The ADL is a civil rights organization focused on combating antisemitism and extremism.”

But the threats and intimidation are real:

As soon as @elonmusk took over Twitter, the ADL got to work ensuring his promise of a free speech site would not come to fruition.

They even warned that Twitter was now “on deathwatch”. Why do these people get to threaten and extort social media companies like this?#BanTheADL pic.twitter.com/ARZVFFYXvv

— Keith Woods (@KeithWoodsYT) September 1, 2023

Musk clearly understands that the ADL is engaging in financial intimidation based on their influence on wokeness in the corporate world. But despite the evidence, for Rolling Stone, it’s just a “false allegation.”  “Amid this flurry of extremism, Musk engaged with Woods, first by liking a post in which he falsely alleged that the ADL is “financially blackmailing social media companies into removing free speech on their platform,” then by replying that “ADL has tried very hard to strangle X/Twitter.” His evident enthusiasm for the attacks boosted them further while undermining Yaccarino’s efforts to convince advertisers that X is working to rein in the site’s hate accounts.”

Gab’s Andrew Torba explains how it works:

X is built on the rails of multiple third-party services including, but not limited to the Google Cloud infrastructure among others. X has had a partnership with Google Cloud since 2018, and Bloomberg reports that this collaboration has incurred annual expenses ranging from $200 million to $300 million for the company. Jonathan Greenblatt has openly bragged about the ADL’s partnership with Google, YouTube, Facebook, and X, going so far as to change the algorithms of these companies to meet their demands.

With one phone call to Google the ADL can cripple X. If Google pulls the plug on the cloud hosting deal massive parts of X’s critical infrastructure will be down for a long time, possibly the entire platform would be taken offline with one click. We saw this happen in 2020 with Parler when Amazon AWS pulled the plug and the platform was taken offline. They were never able to fully recover and recently shut the platform down completely after it sold to a third-party.

Going after the cloud hosting providers is just the start for the ADL’s ability to utterly destroy X. Next come the app store bans. With that same phone call to Google the ADL could easily highlight the hundreds of thousands of “antisemitic” posts on the platform and point the the #BantheADL posts as their prime example. Don’t put it past them. They likely have multiple studies going on behind the scenes tracking the “rise in hate” on the platform since Elon took over and will use this to present their case.

Without critical infrastructure and the app stores X would be in serious trouble, but Elon may be able to pull off a miracle and keep the platform online. Next come the advertisers. The ADL has close connections with all of the top Fortune 500 companies and will use their mafia-style power to get these companies to pull their ad dollars from X. This has already been going on since the moment Elon took over the platform. X is operating in a cash flow negative situation and reports claim that ad revenue has fallen by a dramatic 50% since Elon took over.

That’s only the beginning. Next the ADL will contact the sitting members of Congress and the Biden White House. We’ll see Elon be summoned to testify in Congress about the rise in “misinformation” and “hate” on the platform since he took over.

Elon is in a unique position because he’s not only running X. He’s also running several other companies including SpaceX and Tesla, both of which require him to appease the Regime and stay within their favor. The ADL can and will go after not only X, but all of Elon’s companies. It’s no coincidence that the CEO of X is having meetings with the ADL just days after the DOJ announced that they were suing SpaceX.

The good news is that Musk has enough money to weather the storm, although he may have to come up with his own cloud hosting, and then there’s still Congress. In any case:

To be super clear, I’m pro free speech, but against anti-Semitism of any kind

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) September 4, 2023

Who knows? Maybe he’s have enough balls to reinstate people like me, James Edwards, Tom Sunic, Jared Taylor, etc. without any fatal repercussions.

This is Redice’s Flashback Friday of September 2 with me and Henrik Palmgren. Interesting stuff covered includes ADL censorship and the #bantheADL hashtag on X (which had over 100K posts as of yesterday; Christopher Rufo on race, the Trump indictments, traitorous politicians like Giorgia Meloni who renege on immigration promises despite popular attitudes.
