Agudath Israel: Mesirah Overrides America’s Laws

Rabbi Zwiebel: Break Law rather than report Jewish Criminal

In April, in Is observing the Mesirah prohibition compatible with being American? I discussed the threat posed to Americans generally by the Jewish tradition of Mesirah. This prohibits Jews from telling the Civil Authorities of crimes being committed by other Jews. My interest was stimulated by realizing when studying the Madoff Affair that many financially sophisticated Jews suspected criminality, but did nothing.

I noted

In recent years increased consciousness of the issue of pedophilia, sexual abuse generally and drugs has driven most of the Jewish discussion of Mesirah. Some Jewish organizations like the Rabbinical Council of America have explicitly called for Mesirah to be overlooked in these cases. Read more

Netanyahu on American History

I stumbled on Sean Hannity interviewing Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu in the immediate aftermath of his triumphal speech to both houses of of our slavish Congress. (Around 30 standing ovations.) As expected, it was the softest of softball interviews, Hannity doubtless gloating at the possibility of Republican gain by fawning over the Israelis while the Obama administration has to deal with the rest of the world and therefore must at least give a show of impartiality.

Hannity, who has my vote for being the biggest jackass in “conservative” talkdom, basically sets Netanyahu up so that he can run through his familiar set pieces on Hamas, Iran, Israeli democracy, freedom, etc. But what really amazed me was his statement, at around 3:50 of the interview, that the reason he identifies with the Enlightenment slogans of the equality of all humans, inalienable rights, and government for the people that decorate the monuments in Washington is because these are “basically Jewish concepts.” Israel therefore has a natural affinity with the US. The implication of course is that in supporting Israel, the U.S. is supporting its own values.

Mrs Dominique Strauss-Kahn: Female Version Worse

Anne Sinclair (Mrs Dominique Strauss-Kahn) with husband

Many MSM accounts in describing Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s wife have stressed her birth in New York and her Scottish surname. In fact, Anne Sinclair was born Anne-Elise Schwartz to wholly French and wholly Jewish parents who were in America for business reasons. She was also born to considerable wealth.

She is granddaughter of legendary art dealer Paul Rosenberg, who…opened an art gallery in Paris in 1911, followed by another in London in 1935. Faced with the Nazi occupation of France, the Jewish dealer fled to New York in 1940 and opened another gallery. His daughter, Micheline, and her husband, Joseph-Robert Schwartz, also came to New York, where Anne was born in 1948. (Her father changed the family’s surname to Sinclair in 1949.)…

Anne Sinclair was the only heir of her mother, who died in 2006, and the art collection that she inherited has been estimated to be worth several tens of millions of euros.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, of course, is also Jewish.

Anne Sinclair, who unlike DSK has never married a non-Jew, is however, like some American Jews, very willing to use her money for ethnic political objectives

Sinclair …insisted on a Jewish ceremony after the legal exchange of vows in a Paris city hall.

…she was the driving force behind Strauss-Kahn’s political ambitions, and her wealth…helped finance a group of political advisers, media aides and internet sites that were preparing the ground for what was soon supposed to be a triumphant return to France for Strauss-Kahn, to begin a race for the presidency many thought he would win.

”She always wanted to prove that, 75 years after Leon Blum, the French were capable of electing a Jew,” a friend told Le Monde. ”In her eyes, that would be a formidable revenge on history.”

Another revenge on history she supports is Obama’s Immigration policy, as Steve Sailer has recently noted in Mrs DSK’s Last Blog Post: On Immigration

Barack Obama…denounced the racism-tainted arguments used by the opposition, which take advantage of the challenging economic environment, the fear of unemployment and the foreigner…

How kind of this rich Frenchwoman, insulated by her wealth from all the consequences! This is pure MacDonald of course.

Also pure MacDonald is the reflexive support Strauss-Kahn has received from prominent French Jews, often in coarse terms, as lovingly chronicled by the blog GalliaWatch in He Only Lifted Her Skirt. I see our friend Bernard-Henri Levy was even given space by The Daily Beast to defend Strauss-Kahn, earning a round denunciation from The Huffington Post Dominique Strauss-Kahn Defended Witlessly By Bernard-Henri Levy And Ben Stein Jason Linkins 5/18/11

Meanwhile Anne Sinclair’s money seems to be working away: Strauss-Kahn’s pals bid to pay off woman’s kin New York Post May 24, 2011.

Like the Madoff Affair, this is going to be very informative.

The Labour Party War Against White Britain

Paul Weston’s article “Why is this not treason?” will make your blood boil. It describes the Labour Party’s war against White Britain. (The article links to another article, “Ethnically cleansing the English” that is also well worth reading.) Key quotes:

Despite the obvious violence that emanates from massed Muslims wherever they are in the world, the Labour government went to great lengths to portray Islam as The Religion of Peace, even as Christianity was mocked and defiled, and decent, moral and patriotic Britons were re-cast and criminalised as Islamophobic, race-hating Nazis….

There were two main reasons for such treachery. The first was held by Labour’s minority hard-left who wanted to destroy utterly the hated traditional establishment, and in this respect they had no choice but to declare war on their own people. To the hard-left, the enemy was the conservative, Christian, capitalist West of liberal-democracy Western civilisation — or, in other words, the majority of the English.

The second reason, held perhaps by the majority of Labour apparatchiks, was to ensure a socialist government in perpetuity via the imported foreign vote. Research into voting patterns conducted for The Electoral Commission in May 2005 showed that Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshis voted 56%, 50% and 41% for Labour. The equivalent figures for the Conservatives were 11%, 11% and 9%. … Read more

Crusading Popes in Defense of the West

Paul Crawford’s essay, “Four Myths about the Crusades” is a wonderful antidote to the received wisdom about the Crusades. According to the standard account,

the crusades are depicted as a deplorably violent episode in which thuggish Westerners trundled off, unprovoked, to murder and pillage peace-loving, sophisticated Muslims, laying down patterns of outrageous oppression that would be repeated throughout subsequent history. In many corners of the Western world today, this view is too commonplace and apparently obvious even to be challenged.

He recounts the long history of Muslim conquest and threats against the West beginning in 632 and extending right up to the First Crusade in 1095. The Popes were key players in the defense of the West.

This is not the absence of provocation; rather, it is a deadly and persistent threat, and one which had to be answered by forceful defense if Christendom were to survive. The crusades were simply one tool in the defensive options exercised by Christians.

To put the question in perspective, one need only consider how many times Christian forces have attacked either Mecca or Medina. The answer, of course, is never. Read more

We’re Rich; We’re Jewish: We Rule.

Steven A. Cohen: "I'm rich. Obey me."

Thanks to “Tom”, who by posting a link to it in the comment thread to my blog SEC’s Becker/Madoff saga: How could it smell worse? alerted me to Donors to G.O.P. Are Backing Gay Marriage Push by Nicholas Confessore and Michael Barbaro The New York Times May 13, 2011

As gay rights advocates intensify their campaign to legalize same-sex marriage in New York, the bulk of their money is coming from an unexpected source: a group of conservative financiers and wealthy donors to the Republican Party, most of whom are known for bankrolling right-leaning candidates and causes.

Predictably, the NYT avoids the most significant aspect to this story, but the Capital J blog at the JTA.org website is made of sterner stuff:

The New York Times runs a piece today on how the big money behind the push for sanctioning gay marriage in New York State is coming from Republicans.

The figures named are also Jewish….But I mean every name. Here’s what a quick Google search came up with:
–Paul Singer: on the boards of Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs and Commentary
–Daniel Loeb: Appeared at events for YIVO and the Jewish Enrichment Center.
–Clifford Asness: Likened Obama’s proposed tax policies to pogroms. (Yes, philanthropy would be nicer than name calling, but this is still a form of identification.)
–Steven A. Cohen: this excellent Tablet piece by Allison Hoffman exposes a rabbi who tried to use Cohen’s Jewishness in a scheme to extort money from him, but otherwise notes that Cohen’s philanthropy does not have much of a Jewish slant…
And then there’s former Republican National Committee chairman, Ken Mehlman, who’s organizing the whole GOP push, and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who also backs the initiative (but is no longer a Republican.) Jewish, Republican, pro-gay rights by Ron Kampeas – May 14, 2011 Read more

Bin Laden’s Assassination: Wake Me When It’s Over

I must admit to feeling a bit unpatriotic. I just can’t get into the non-stop hoopla on the bin Laden assassination. On Monday, with only a small lead time the LA Times had 8 articles on it, beginning with a monster headline screaming “U.S. KILLS BIN LADEN” in 96-point type that took up around 4 inches in two rows across the entire front page. But they were just warming up. On Tuesday, there were 24 articles, headlined by “OBAMA’S GAMBLE” in 72-point type recounting the decision process of our daringly brilliant president, much loved by the Times. (Now the Times has even more reason to ignore Donald Trump’s  request for Obama’s college grades.) Read more
